Missing: Hermes Customer Service, Reward Offered ET found it easier to phone home than it is to contact customer service for Hermes. Each way you turn they actively put barriers up so you are unable to contact a person. Whether this be there FAQ's that lead you through a labyrinth of nonsensical pages all of which are designed to make your bored enough that you just give up. Or the helpless Alexa Rip off called Holly that asks you questions which only allows you to answer what Hermes want you to say which basically leads you back to the start. It's like a disappointing game of Monopoly where every square send you to Jail with no hope of getting your parcel. The one star review is flattering for the service they offer and next week I've got an appointment booked with a local Medium as I think the dead will have a better chance to actually speak to Hermes representative than I. Now the actual 'Attempted' delivery where the driver didn't get out the vehicle took a picture of the inside of the van and the next doors house and the so called failed delivery for the following two days. When there was a safe placed labelled and I was in for the whole of the 3 days. I mean several other delivery companies managed to find the house which is a bog standard normal street but to Hermes my address seems to be Number 12 Grimmauld Place. I doubt Hermes will be able to find this as they struggled with the basics of the core business so I will pop a message in a bottle in the hope it eventually finds the way to their office.

My score is minus 10. Hermes received my parcel from Cabi in the USA on 7.10.21. Tracking showed it to,have been sent to wrong courier. Update on 11.10.21. Said it was on its way but the trail stopped there, no further update after 11.10.21. Dreadful experience trying to communicate with customer service department, not sure there are any human beings actually working there. After a lot of hard work on my part, received response 18.10.21. to say “the parcel was lost within out network”. Is this a polite way of saying it has been stolen. They suggest I contact the sender for a refund. I will try my best never to order anything from a company who uses Hermes. Watchdog describe them as being the worst of this type of company, I agree.

APPALLING service! An expensive item I ordered from a company based in France called Vestiare .com- another bad idea- has gone missing or what is more likely has been stolen and never arrived with me but the Hermes Automated Tracking service just has been saying the same thing for the past 17 days ie, "Your parcel has been delayed- It will be with you shortly." And Guess what It never arrives! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Yet another damaged parcel now waiting to be returned. Don't use any company that uses Hermes to deliver anything to you. Frustrating waste of time. They leave o viously damaged items and don't even ring the bell, presumably so you can't complain when you see a parcel that looks as though it's been used as a football.

Unfortunately, I am a 'Victim' of the substandard service that Hermes supplies in place of a competent, trustworthy and efficient courier service. I couldn't really substantiate the claims that many reviewers have posted, of them being 'Liars', as I have yet to speak to anyone who actually works for Hermes! Anyone Human, anyway! I have read many online reviews of Hermes and they have all been pretty poor, apart from the one on 'Trustpilot' which gives them a 79% customer satisfaction rating! This I find puzzling as it does not reflect my unfortunate experiences of dealing with this company! I could sit here and recount the tale of woe that is the story of my latest delivery, but I won't as it would just be an echo of every other review on this website. Needless to say, I am now sitting indoors writing this review whilst waiting for my 'Next day delivery' that was posted 8 days ago and has still not arrived! Hermes is the delivery industry's version of the Bermuda Triangle. Packages go in, never come out and are never heard of again! And there the 'Mystery' begins!

This company should be closed down. They repeatedly fail to deliver parcels. They have no customer service ethos whatsoever. Their online chat robot is useless and they fail to respond to any complaint. They eventually admit that they have lost parcels but accept no responsibility and simply refer you back to the retailer. They should not be allowed to trade in the manner that they do. Avoid like the plague.

Score: minus 10 dreadful service Parcel not delivered after 8 days, customer service totally useless, cannot speak to human being. Automated system does not recognise tracking number. Presumably parcel stolen enroute. Will try to avoid companies who use Hermes in future.

The data says it all really. please don't use this service. You can't contact them whatsoever when a parcel goes missing. Never experienced such an appalling delivery service or customer service.

Not even one star this company should be investigated and closed down On the app your item been delivered, not!! No photo or map nothing no package no proof nothing no one to contact - company has no pride or responsibility just stolen item and spoiled day / mood

I think they dont even desever one star. I have send my package with them clearly stated on the box that its fragile. It was very well packed. Even thought they have damaged my package and because they have damaged it they disposals it as well. I had to contact them to see where my package is as it was 4 days not delivered even i have paid for next day delivery and just after i have spend half an hour on phone i have been informed that my package has been destroyed. This company is seriously joke. Never ever i will use it again.

THE DRIVERS ARE DOING A GREAT JOB,,BUT TRY TO SPEAK TO MY HERMES THEMSELVES AND YOU GET A STUPID CHAT BOT THAT CANT UNDERSTAND ACCENTS,,WE NEED A NUMBER TO CHAT WITH A HUMAN.

If you can avoid them for parcels, do it. They are horrible. The parcels are always late, the tracking is horrendous and there is absolutely no way to actually speak to someone from the service. The online chat is with a robot and completely useless, same for the telephone line provided. They lie about speaking to a local agent - there is no way to contact them directly. I truly would recommend any retailer to not use Hermes but another form of delivery service. Truly the worst.

Absolutely awful service. Place order for next day delivery and is always late! If your a well known customer ordering things often and specifying a particular place to leave parcel, they will just lobby it over the gate when you have left the gate open for them to place item in unlocked shed or will just leave it at the front door. So disappointed, unlike Royal Mail who are curious and follow specific instructions.

Parcel seems to be stuck in limbo at Southampton depot. Been there for a week with still no sign of it being delivered. Even more infuriating is trying to get any information from Hermes as their automated systems give you no information apart from that you can see yourself on tracking!!! Abysmal service and it appears that I am not the only customer who thinks so!

Shockingly poor company … unreliable with no customer service avenues; phone, web chat and social media contact are all dead-ends. Cannot understand why so many retailers use their ‘service’ … appalling unreliability… avoid!!
