Hermes delivery one of the worst delivery services in the UK do not trust them especially when you need next day delivery.

They have had my parcel since 4th December and still no sign. Their app is useless and trying to contact them a waste of time - why any company uses them I don’t know . Not first time have had issues and when you get an email saying Hermes are delivering know 50/50 chance of it even arriving

Always always delayed no excuses. Other couriers manage to be on time or early - not Hermes!

Absolutely appalling. I get a notification saying Hermes has delivered my parcel and left it with a neighbour. The photo of the 'neighbour' is the courier's own house. He keeps my parcels until he's coming out my way to deliver to other customers. It happens constantly. Apparently it's too far for him to drive to me - a further 2 miles on from his nearest customer. Says I can always collect it from his house if I need it in a hurry! Gave him a parcel to return once, it was never delivered back to seller and I never saw the refund.

As usual, after waiting many days, I found out that my item had been lost "lost in transit". Very bad company.

Never had an issue with delivery times or safe place but once again garden gate left open! Deepite the sign I paid good money for saying to shut gate. As a disabled person I cannot do this myself. So, no dog out and security compromised! Thanks.m

Quite possibly the worst delivery company going. How they're still ik business I don't know, especially with all the videos of how badly their workers treat the parcels and how they are never able to keep proper track of their items even with their tracking services.

This company is so bad. Always either deliver it to the wrong house or the parcel is lost. Can you not take the time to look at the address properly?? Also they lost my expensive and quite big parcel somewhere at their hub, get a few extra parcels during Christmas and lose their minds. They weren’t helpful about it either, you lost my parcel but I have to make enquiries and chase people about refunds and replacements ?? A mess.

Two days in a row I have booked a return via Hermes as they were recommended by John Lewis. Two days in a row my Hermes driver has "collected" the parcel, without knocking at my door (and certainly hasn't taken the parcel). Absolutely unnecessary stress meaning I now have to book and wait for a 3rd collection with another company. Impossible to get hold of a real person to talk to, and the options they have on their website magically don't exist once you reach their chat bot, it just gives you tracking status. Strange that they have almost 5* reviews on trustpilot, however when you look at other websites they have 1*! Hermes need investigating and shutting down

Received my package on the 1st December, attempted delivery 4 times including today, still no sign of package despite us apparently “not being home” and them posting a black photograph prooving they attempted delivery. They are full of sh*t and can’t be trusted. Website is an absolute joke with no direct way of getting in touch to complain or get updates. Pathetic

What can I say that hasn't already been said, quite simply the most incompetent delivery service in the UK, even our " local friendly delivery person" says she won't buy from any company that uses Hermes to deliver, she says they treat the parcels appalling , seen them drop kicked ect. They had one parcel of mine on the van for eleven days, guy turns up one evening with it, claiming not to work for Hermes but was a friend of the courier who asked him to bring it as a favour, my latest parcel seems lost in the system, even more annoying because it was a heavily discounted black Friday deal that I simply can't afford to replace with the refund money. Why do company's use Hermes ? Because they are cheap, you pay peanuts and you get monkeys.

Terrible customer service:No proper notice given of when the parcel was to be delivered: email sent at 3pm informing me before the parcel was "delivered" at 3.30pm by leaving it on a desk in the lobby. Of course, by the time I got home it was gone. Who leaves a parcel in a lobby of a building g of 88 flats and thinks that's a delivery? 'Chat' option doesn't give any details of when complaint will be dealt with or allow you to ask any other questions except the scripted ones.Awful service. Will not be ordering from Blackwells again as they use this unprofessional excuse for a company .

Need to look who delivered parcel and if Hermes will cancel order parcel received marked fragile. So box all bust open and soaking. And left at door and delivery person had run off

I'm only giving Hermes a 1 because you can't give a zero. No surprise! My delivery from Hermes hasn't turned up My delivery from Asda is now 2 days late. The person from Asda has told me that they are re-ordering my Shirts, despite Hermes saying that they have them ('We've just received your parcel from ASDA' and 'We're sorry, your parcel has been delayed. We're working to get it on its way on the next working day and we'll let you know once it's out for delivery') The Hermes online and phone service is appalling. The phone service number is wrong on the website, the automated person didn't recognise the tracking number from my email. The online 'chat' will not let you ask any questions other than the ones they set. The only reason that Hermes hasn't let me down is because they are so well renowned for being this bad (See the Joe Lycett programme on it) I wasn't expecting to receive the parcel on time, if at all.

My Hermes - Parcel never arrived, no comms, totally shoddy service. Eventually had to have the goods refunded because supplier couldn't even replace as they were out of stock. WHY DOES ANYONE USE THIS COMPANY????? I will avoid buying from a supplier who uses them.

I wish you had a no star option , what a dreadful company amazingly they managed to lose two parcels within weeks of each other both parcels with a monetary value of more than £100 . I wish when you buy online that they would inform you which delivery company they use , as if it was Hermes I would not order. No body to complain to about there horrendous service.
