Hermes lost my parcel en route to Germany. Instead of telling me so, I had to get in touch with them to chase. My inquiry was treated as a compensation claim for a lost parcel, but after 3 week I received an email saying the claim had been refused. In tiny writing at the bottom, it specified the reason as being that the parcel had been found. The box, still in good condition, was returned to sender, but no refund was made. so I had to chase the company *again* to get my postage costs returned. They curtly informed me that no compensation was available, and acknowledged unabashed that they hadn't informed me about the discovery of the lost parcel. As this is the second time of four that Hermes has lost a parcel en route to Germany, I can only advise extreme caution with this courier, especially with overseas addresses.

Will give them 0 stars if possible Will give them 0 stars if possible. Keep looking for a contact number... there is no way to get in touch. My local courier is so useless I can't understand how they can employ these people. I was expecting a delivery today at home . She didn't even bothered to knock the door. I just received a text message saying that my parcel was delivered to my neighbour/?????????????????????????????????/. And this is an ongoing issue. She does this all the times she can't just be bothered. Leaves the packages anywhere..... I had the conversation with her....in her mother tongue....cause she is lacking minimum level of understanding English, and still she can't be bothered to do her work properly. Why is this person working for Hermes ….. hard to tell. This whole lack of interests in customer service is appalling and Hermes it makes it difficult to actual complain about their service....even a phone no I struggled to find was directed to a different company. Your service is distressing. I even complained about them with the merchant and they said that i'm not the only one complaining and that they are currently in the process to change this courier with another.

Not happy at all. Parcel was left behind my black bin and got soaked in the rain, especially when I have a shed not far from where the parcel was left. Don't use this company.

Was told my parcel was being delivered today. When I got home, I found my parcel behind the black bin soaking wet. Not happy. Never use this company.

Was told my parcel was on the way, to be told last second there was an issue and to get in touch with customer service, whick cost me £6!!! And i didn't get a decisive answer. Had to get in touch with the retailer to explain the situation. Im infuriated.

Same appalling service everyone else compaliens off, they trued to deliver but apparently no one was in... It's a 24h site with a manner s city office that takes all deliverys, our old unit we had one mermes driver actually turn up but I physically watched him climb into the back of the van, tread across other parcels untill he found mine, which unseprisingly had a nice size 9 footprint in and the content inside damaged beyond use... Nice one Hermes you da Bomb...

Appalling service. No updates, the parcels still not delivered as the driver says he can’t get access to the address which is a lie. One parcel received after a week. Soaking wet. No Customer service number available.

The worst delivery company I’ve had to rely on No way of making verbal contact with anyone all automated Numbers I’ve found not in use How do they make it pay Will now vet companies who use Hermes for shipping good and if they use Hermes will not buy from them Would rather pay extra for reliable delivery

Said delivering times. Didn't come. Impossible to contact except with 7p min call. Driver lied about not getting into normal suburban street as excuse. Tell you to contact retailer. Retailer, Hotters, say they can't contact Hermes. No customer service from either. Do not use

Received an email 12.50pm to say my parcel was coming between 1pm and 3pm. I rushed home and waited. At 2.15pm I received another email to say it was coming between 2pm and 4pm. It eventually came at 6.30pm. Not good enough. A precious Sunday afternoon wasted.

it's a pity that good companies are now trusting hermes to deliver their products! for the second time this month (and other few other times before!) i received a message that my order were going to be delivered. so i waited all day at home and after one or two updates saying my parcel was late, it was not delivered at all! and with the same message: we tried to delivered your parcel but you were not in. Same excuses, sounds like a lie.... well, funny to hear that once I have a porter 24 hours and also there is always a bell that the messenger could have ringed me to reach out for the door. I also gave the store my phone number (which is informed only for delivery purposes!). So I don't get it. All I can say is that, Hermes is screwing up the stores reputation by not doing their work properly. I will think twice before ordering with companies that use this courier.

I watched the van drive straight by my home with no attempt to stop. I immediately got an app update saying they couldn't gain access to my address. I know it was them that drove past, I watched them deliver to a house down the street, a friend of mine who confirmed it was hermes (I also saw the package label). It was an unmarked van too, so they obviously thought they were getting away with it. I now have to get on a train to go to a city to pay city prices for food for my birds.

Overcharged me by £100 and refuse to refund me, impossible to speak to an actual person and have ignored all of my emails for the last two months. Despicable company.

Once again, Hermes have trotted out the same old Bull**** about my delivery yesterday. 'Left in a safe place in your porch' .. no photograph on the website to verify this. The address for delivery was my offices, an NHS clinic, which is CLOSED at weekends. It has large, padlocked iron gates and a board with clearly diaplayed opening times... THERE IS NO PORCH ! I'm unable to check anything with anyone until Monday now.. I assume the parcel was left in another 'porch' and the contents being enjoyed by someone else..! Why do sellers continue to use this shower of incompetent sh**... ? Oh, and the seller is a well known 'charity' who really should reassess whom they trust their deliveries to ...Cheers Hermes.. ****s

If I could give ZERO stars or not even that I would! Twice on different items says on its way then there a problem with delivery/ address. Even though there issues getting to my address at all. Tried talking to someone through app and some old stuff.. leave number and email haha... nothing back afterwards. Waited in past 2 days and today I’ve been at the window waiting had a message saying there was issues with the delivery no one was in! Erm, hello? I was in and no one even turned up for Christ sake!! Ridiculous. Spoken to the seller on eBay feel bad for them why should either of us loose out on something that not our faults. Sort yourself out please. RECOMMEND NEVER USING THEM AGAIN!!!!!!

Absolutely rubbish company. Do not use. Received notification parcel to arrive Friday between 1.00 and 3.00 pm. No delivery! Waited all day. Contacted company on Saturday I was told driver could not find address. I am now told delivery Saturday. Guess what? No delivery. Waited all day. Contacted seller of parcel and was told the parcel to be delivered on Saturday. Apparently the parcel went to wrong depot and was loaded on wrong delivery vehicle. Somewhat different story I was told by Hermes representative. Saturday no delivery Despite guarantee from Hermes. Living plants, this company, lies, and does not deliver.

Highly unprofessional! I’ve been told my parcel will arrive Monday, I was waiting on time they provider, even looking through the window for delivery truck. Parcel never arrived, nor did the driver at all. Apparently was UNABLE to deliver. I’ve had the same message on my tracking Every day for the next week. The parcel never was delivered, I tried to contact them through telephone but you can’t speak to a human it’s just automated voice saying there’s a problem with delivery. The multiple people I spoke to on online chat took my number and said the driver will contact me if they have problems with delivery. Nobody tried to contact me and the parcel never came. I paid for express delivery! Also once I was home just stood next to the door and nobody knocked on my door just put a ‘sorry we missed you’ note in my door and left! When I opened the door the driver only said sorry and run away! You should be ashamed, hermes!

Absolutely disgusting service, the customer support team had no idea what they were doing. One person saying parcel was going to be delivered before 6pm , the next saying it hasnt left depot. Usually I'm tolerant of oarcels not being there on time but in thhs case i had paid extra for it to be delivered a particular day as it was for a birthday. Would never ever use them again .

It was said that parcel will delivered in 3 days. it never did. It was late and for that reason i missed it as i had to fly abroad.
