Paid for next day delivery for an item and its now been 3 days.. Says parcel is at my local depot and waiting to go.. But there are no further notifications. I have tried the chat to an automated robot which is NOT helpful. There is NO number to call to speak to a human being.Why is it so difficult to speak to an actual human being? It's sad to say but when I saw the delivery option was Hermes I knew I would have problems and this has proven my point. I now have to check who a company uses before I complete my checkout process.

Ive ordered 2 separate items from different sellers. Neither have arrived. I tracked them but once they reach the sorting hub they seem to disappear.

I sent a parcel on 21st December (tracking number : 9702367246488783). The last status update was on 22nd that 'We have got your parcel has been received and we are proceeing it for you'. Since then there is no status update. Its 31st December now. The online chat using a digital assistant keeps repeating the status status and refuses to redirect to a human assistant. I called the number 0330 808 5456 around 9-11:30am todat (31st Dec) about 5 times, and each time I am asked to give my tracking number and asked to wait when I wanted to speak with a human assistant and the phone line keep playing a music for 30 minutes or so and then hangs up or goes blank. So I have no way of contacting Hermes. My customers are cancelling the order and I am losing business. I am unable to conact Hermes. Its been 10 days now and no status about my parcel !!! This is horrible. Never ever faced tis kind of service from any courier!

I have ALWAYS had problems receiving deliveries from Hermes no matter what address I'm expecting the delivery. It doesn't help that you have zero ways of contacting them. Just recently I ordered something from missguided. I placed my order on 24th December and paid for next day delivery (obviously not expecting it on Christmas day) but expecting it at least within the next two working days. Today, 31st December I have still not recieved it. When trying to track it it states the same as it did on 27th December being sorted for delivery. I have not recieved any further communication from them since 27th December! They are vile and I'm not sure why online retailers use them! Honestly don't understand why they are still in business.

Witnessed a Hermes driver drop and smash my neighbours parcel, threw it back in his van and drove off instead of owning up to what he had done. Where would the poor recipient think their parcel had gone?....

Have had two deliveries go missing, saying they have been delivered but haven’t. I’ve waited in for nearly a week for them, one parcel was due two weeks before Christmas and still not turned up. Have tried ringing Hermes customer service but no answer. Diabolical

Absolutely dreadful I've been waiting for my parcels for nearly a week and I havent got an update on my items. Their app is so unreliable claiming to be "expected" when it was meant to be "on its way". You can never get through to this service via phone its absolutely appalling and they steal items when I first got delivered my Hermes. They need to improve their customer service and their management on the app

So I received message from Hermes that my parcel will be delivered between 11 and 1pm, so I was waiting at home. It said that it’s delivered at 12, but no one was knocking on my door. I went to check outside and my parcel wasn’t there! When I opened to see picture to see where they left my parcel, it was a square of blackness. I’m very angry because my parcel was very expensive! And I can’t contact anyone on Hermes! Hermes is the worst company and I have no idea how they can still exist! What I supposed to do now?? I’m not gonna leave like this Hermes, I’ll complain and complain till I’ll get my money back!!!

Ordered a parcel collection for 30 December, no-one came, but their live chat said ‘someone came at 14.39 and no-one was here. That is a blatant lie as I am housebound which us why I chose this way to get my parcel to my son. Customer service at Hermes is non-existent, probably because they are so bad, they wouldn’t be able to cope with all the phone calls. Totally unprofessional.

Like others my parcel said there was a slight delay. 10 days later no email and no one has got in touch with me. That automated (Hollie) service is useless. Nobody picks the phone costing me money.

Was in when the parcel arrived. No one rang the doorbell so the parcel was left outside the door anyone could have taken it.

I had an e-mail on the 19th Dec saying my courier could not deliver my parcel that day, but would on the next working day (Mon 21st) it's now the 30th and no further correspondence and still no parcel !!!!!!

I have received 2 emails on separate days saying my parcel is out for delivery & then a minute later another one saying it had failed as no one home even though I was. Cannot speak to anyone at Hermes as it is impossible you have to go through an automated service which is no help avoid using these much better carriers out there

If I could give a negative star rating I would. Impossible to contact anyone at Hermes. Had an email to say that delivery would be next working day and still nothing and it’s been over a week!

What a rubbish company Hermes is, if your parcel does not reach the designated address your at a loss almost immediately. They have this useless automated live chat that tells you everything you already know, so that's 5 minutes of your time wasted. They make it very hard to find their phone number , but when you do be prepared to sit on the line for at least 20 minutes before they pick up and thats if your lucky or the line simply cuts you off . In this day and age its disgraceful for companies like this to continue trading, you just have to look at the online reviews to show you how useless they are and yet they continue to ignore everyone, take your cash and shut the door in your face . USELESS TO SAY THE LEAST.

Sent a parcel through packlink via Hermes on 13th December and it still hasn't arrived. It's a large parcel so they could hardly miss it. Customer wanted it for a special Christmas so was angry and upset I will never send another parcel with Hermes again, they damage your reputation and customer service is frustrating and not worth wasting time and energy over!

For all of you who had the same robot contact issues and lack of human response from hermes Do as i did. Apply for a job on line with hermes and when the local job coordinator contacts you by phone give him/her some grief. Funnily enough it worked for me (i stored his mobile number just in case too) and my missing parcel amazingly arrived the following day oh and by the way that was a day after i received a replacement parcel which had been sent to me by supplier via DHL after i asked the supplier to send it by a different supplier!!! The replacement arrived a day before the original parcel.
