Most unprofessional team I have come across, I will never use their service again and would advise all against them. Both airlines I have been in contact with have sent me written confirmation as well as Opodo to refund me the amount owed. Opodo refuses to send this over and I am not able to retrieve an answer from their incompetent customer service team. I will be looking at taking legal action at them very soon.

Our flights from the Isle of Man in April were cancelled in April due to Covid and Easyjet refunded Opodo's card in June. Ok its only about £100 but no sign of it ever being returned to us - shocking shocking service!

Unable to get a refund even though i know the airline i was due to travel with have processed the refund to @opodo.

Never, never, never make my mistake of booking with Opodo. Long story short. My flight was cancelled in early May. I contacted the airline straight away and they confirmed that they were happy to issue a full refund instantly. They advised that they need Opodo to instruct them to refund me because I booked via Opodo. Firstly, there is no way to contact Opodo on email or to raise a complaint (and don't fall for their feedback link - it does not let you submit a complain - instead it sends you to your booking). Secondly, it takes over an hour to get through to Opodo on the phone. After several attempts, I managed to speak with their rep. They called the airline and confirmed the refund. They even sent me an email saying that the refund if confirmed and would be made within 90 days. 90 days passed. No refund. I called Opodo again. They told me this time that they cannot make a refund because this was not authorised by the airline. This is simply a lie because I know from the airline directly that they have authorised it (and because Opodo had confirmed that themselves via email). I tried raising a complaint - not possible. I am now advised by their agent that my refund request is being raised to their "seniors". 95 days down the line, i'm still waiting.... Please, done make my mistake of trying to save 20 pounds by booking through Opodo. It costed me so much more in my time. Book directly with airlines.

Please do not use opodo wish i read the reviews before i booked .Was going to spain on the 8th Aug 20 but cancelled in April and asked for a refund cash or vouchers .Got e mail saying no problem they will sort it out .4 months later after a number of e mails still no reply .No phone contact you have to do it by e mail .Then they advised on the web site because am on a low fare carrier i need to contact them direct .they tell me to contact opodo .I give up .Then opodo have the audacity to send me e mails offering me discounted holidays .I have had a voucher refund from easy jet well an e mail .so thats half my money .Unfortunately nothing from ryanair .Never again will i go with opodo .DON'T DO IT .

I am still waiting on £700 worth of flight refunds that were cancelled in april due to covid. Its discusting how they treat people. No online chat or email. Only phone which does not answer. Where do i go from here Luke Khaffaf

Absolutely terrible. For one minor issue had to call them four times, waiting average 20 to 30 minutes each time. No way to get an invoice directly from their website, you have to CALL them to get one, and then when you do they don't send it! A total disaster. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM, book with the airline direct.

worst company ever, Taken 5 months to get sorted, So many phone calls Approx 30 emails, In the end went to airline company direct, Guess what sorted in less than 5 minutes, Sent email to Opodo to inform them, Then received a reply informing that monies paid would be refunded in full, Something they could have sorted 5 months earlier, Instead of trying to get even more money from us, 5 STARS TO ETIHAD, FOR SORTING SO QUICKLY, OPODO LESS THAN 1 STAR,

I have had my flight canceled and opodo have had the funds from my carrier. They asked for my bank details on the 14th of July and I still haven't had the money transferred. They say that the bank details are not correct, however having checked with my bank they have confirm the details are correct and that they can see no attempt at payment. I have spent 3 hours on the phone, and been promised a call back twice within 24 hours. No call has come ! I can only assume that Opodo are withholding my funds deliberately - a policy ?. This is illegal but none at opodo seems to care.

Inept company. My flight had a schedule change so that it was not possible to reach the connection. Was promised the flights would be cancelled and a refund processed. Three days, and three phone calls later they have still not cancelled the flights. Was told to ring tomorrow as it was the weekend (so much for the 24/7 customer service promise) despite the flight leaving in the morning. Seeking legal advice....!

Car hire rejected to rent the car to me, never happened before in Ireland and they said because my Irish license does have 1 year only, even saying I am a 13'years old experienced driver from my original country, they refused me to rent and simply let me down without any assistance and refund. Opodo simply had ignored it by saying there is statement saying that, but something not visible and also not close to the reality, in their site a company is set to require a 8'years experienced driver when in fact I could rent the car straight from the company, Opodo might be not well seen by its partners and not allowing customers to rent car. I got no refund neither any kind of support from either Opodo or Europcar. Have to manage by myself a car in the last-minute trip. Luck me I found a decent company on my way. Please avoid OPODO as much as you can, terrible experience!!

If you are looking for a travel agency to rip you off, then you find the right one. They took your money but don't book ticket for you, and yet they had the audacity to suggest you to take out unconditional refund insurance. When you call the airline directly you will be surprised that Opodo hasn't even booked the ticket for you. so, NOT COOL! I am looking for a way to press charges on this company at the moment.

If anyone reading this is pondering whether to use Opodo... I beg you to find another travel agency. This is by far the worse company I have ever dealt with, in any industry. Flights for Thailand are booked in September, but have been rescheduled numerous times due to COVID. However, not once have Opodo got in contact to notify us that there has been a change. Plus, when you do finally get in touch with them, they have the incorrect flight information in their systems. In terms of customer service, the staff are rude and lack any ounce of empathy. You will be waiting for 45+ minutes on hold and when you do reach someone they are about as much use as a chocolate teacake. They will promise to contact you... never do. Then to top it off, you can no longer call them unless your flight is in 7 days. Right now we are unsure about our flights and have no way to get any confirmation. Do not trust your money with this service, far better travel agencies out there compared to this farcical excuse of a travel company.

I wonder why UK authorities allow Indian thiefs to steal money from UK citizens. This company is a scam and typical indian fraudsters. Very tough to get money back from Indians. Professional 5000 years old ancestral thiefs. Stay away.

WATCH OUT FOR OPODO!! I booked, the same second as they had taken my money i came straight to a page that said the flight was cancelled. I was unable to rebook or get a refund. Only got a voucher for the same airline which was no help to me as the next flight was 10 days later. WATCH OUT!!

Absolute criminal. Have been calling hours and hours and wasting my time to update my tickets, which they changed. Very poor customer service. Keeps telling you lies and says will call back, never does. Someone call me back to sort this mess out on 07957661327 Still waiting.

Stay away from Opodo. Please! Thank me later. The company as well as all the employees working there work really hard to scam people. I booked a flight which was cancelled due to Covid. The airline refunded Opodo but after many many months, I didn't see that money back. After months of haggling with them, I got a small fraction of that money back, the rest they stated were for their "platform services". This is ridiculous. No service, means full money back. As a previous Opodo Prime member, I didn't get appropriate phone, email or any other form of customer service either. That is one of a serious scam company and I am not sure how they are allowed to operate on the German market. Germany needs to do something about this and ban them from operating here.

We booked return flights to Shetland last Nov.We were booked to travel in May.Flights were cancelled due to Covid.Therefore entitled a refund.We were not offered this option and the phone lines were not taking calls.So no refund.Shoddy Service.Never again

"Had booked 2 Delta Airline tickets through OPODO in the month of February 2020 with travel dates in March. Had to cancel my trip due to the Pandemic. I have been chasing OPODO for refund of money. They never get back. Their call centre is a scam. Wrote to Delta Airline requesting my money, they were professional enough to get back to me in just 4 days. They in-fact told me that they are okay in refunding my money, all they want is OPODO to make a request. I have been chasing OPODO for almost 5 months. Now, I feel I have been scammed. I will never deal with OPODO, NEVER. I request others as well to deal with other online sites and avoid getting cheated by OPODO".
