I booked a hotel in Paris via Opodo and once arrived the hotel did not have the reservation so I needed to make a new reservation directly at the hotel and a second payment. After rounds of emails and phone calls they claimed they do not have my reservation which was confirmed on my email and for which I have proof of payment to them. They are filling me around and they do not show any sign of customer care, ethical behaviour. It is a typically scam. I will now report it to Police.

Trying to cancel subscription a nightmare. Difficult to speak with a real person, kept trying to take money after sending me an email to say yhey cancelled my subscription. This having jad to be done via automated phone system. . I have now finally managed to speak to someone, totally pushy found it very hard to get through to them that no matter what good ideal they offer I don't want it. Fingers crossed cancelled properly this time round. Still waiting for second confirmation email I was promised.

Absolutely no customer service and I’m still waiting for my refund, since 3 years. Have now instructed a lawyer.

Too many red flags when progressing through the online purchase... Initially looked like a very reasonable price. But add-ons for seat selection (higher rates than other airlines), indirect flights requiring double the seat allocation charges, hold baggage price quoted at £39.xx but that was only one-way, cost of the return trip baggage was added to the final total at almost £80. Return baggage price was never quoted (very dubious practice). Hotel listed upon initial selection as free cancellation up to 24 hours before holiday start date (sounds reassuring) but then the site stated all costs were non-refundable just before I was about to commit payment... unless I paid an extra £54 for cancellation cover which would only provide 80% max of airline price. Then I was asked to pay extra £16 to £32 for very basic services such as email confirmation of booking made and any updates to flight times and status etc. I paused the purchase process three times for over 90 minutes and was surprised when my session could still be continued. Sounds like they are desperate to keep any waiverers online to complete the transaction. I cannot trust these people even if they sound like a familiar name like 'Ocado'. I'm now going to contact my credit card company to directly ensure the free 30 day trial for premium club level booking (to keep the discount prices already 'quoted') is not activated at £59.99 against my credit card now or ever!

Taken a subscription without my approval or knowledge. I will be asking my credit card company as it is impossible to get to talk to anyone at Opodo to arrange a refund. This is a total scam and I will no longer use Opodo ever again.

Avoid at all costs!!! They don't need your consent to subscribe you to their "Prime" membership, there's no chance you get to speak with someone as there's no customer service and in reality, cost of flights are the same as anywhere else. Absolute dirt of the society!

No good don't buy from here . The Lond on office .02080646469 don't waste your time .I'm waiting on refund for a tickets I bought which never booked . The lady be sweet on phone will take your money then you waiting on my refund .

WORST experience ever!!! check in impossible. We must made ti directly by Airlaine check-in on Airport desk. Paid additional costs for nothing. Try to call for several hours but nobody response. Stay away from this company!

I booked a short one hour flight from Lombok to Bali through Opodo recently. An option on their website was to pre purchase excess baggage. I paid $130 to increase Citilink Air allowance to 50 kg. When I arrived at Lombok airport for check-in Citilink had not received the $130 from Opodo, I therefore had to pay the $130 again, in cash at the check-in. I emailed Opodo 2 weeks ago regarding this and have received no response.

I wanted to change the date of departure,I tried contacting them via Chat with an agent, but it was a chatbot that kept making me go in loops without solving anything! And they said they are a global site but their customer support number is only a UK number! They wanted me to buy completly NEW FLIGHT. SCAM SCAM SCAM. Never more

Do NOT use Opodo! They charged me ANNUAL Prime membership without giving a warning that the free trial period is ending soon! Cancelling the prime membership took many clicks. They are really trying to trap as many people as possible with this scam method. I tried contacting them via Chat with an agent, but it was a chatbot that kept making me go in loops without solving anything! Definitely do NOT recommend Opodo.

Cancelling the prime membership took many clicks. They are really trying to trap as many people as possible with this scam method. I bet you this would be the similar customer experience service if you have trouble with the trip. Definitely do NOT recommend Opodo.

I would put 0 star but I can't. Scam and rubbery, that are the 2 most convenient adjectives I can use. Short story, I booked a ticket via Opodo with British Airways. There was a clear message saying that I can add a baggage after the booking without any condition. The day before I've tried to add baggage but I'm unable to do it. I've spent 4 hours with the customer service on the phone and all they could confirm is that "They are sorry for giving a wrong information and they can do nothing for me" and "I can add baggage in the airport" without giving any guarantee that I can do it, and without details on the cost price. Knowing that I have 60kg baggage, I don't want to take a risk and go blindly to the airport. As a result, I'll need to book another ticket, take 1 or 2 more nights in the hotel in London, and I don't talk about the waste of time and energy, stress and other prejudice. Anyway I've recorded the conversation, I'll take Opodo to court

I wouldn’t even give them one star but had to so I could open the box to give my review. I will never use this company again night before flying out I printed my boarding passes only to discover no luggage for the whole of my family except two so franticly phoned Opodo up and was advise yes should be I said it’s not so was advised nothing they can do and give me Wizz airlines number for me to sort out and was advised if I had to pay for my luggage Opodo would refund me Not what you want to hear the night before flying out . Then only to discover I had been given a Polish telephone number . So I had to re phone Opodo to talk to yet another operator and yet again explain everything only to be told yet again I would have to sort it myself and they would refund me for their mistake . So at my wits end I had to sort it out with Wizz air who had to cancel my booking in so I could add our cases and pay for themas Opodo hadn’t paid for my luggage . Previous in the week I had also paid Opodo to add two cases on my return flight with BA which I discovered on return they had not added yet again. Armed with all my receipts and proof of all their mistakes what I thought would be an easy refund has turned into a nightmare they have only paid half my money back . I will be taking action against them if this is not sorted and will be going to omnibusman . All I want is my money back they blundered . I wouldn’t recommend this company at all and customer service is unreal . Have spoke to people and emailed

Booked a flight with Opodo in March to travel in late December, but then getting an email on the 02 of November that my flight has been cancelled. I understand that this wasn't Opodo's fault, but it has been 5 days now since I have been requesting a refund for the cancelled flight and haven't received any confirmation that they will even refund my money back. I have spoken to the airline directly, and they told me that they will refund in full, but it has to come through Opodo. So for me, it was the first and last time that I have used Opodo as it has been a terrible experience. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Worst experience ever! My flight was cancelled and opodo is refusing to act according to european law! Theyre criminals and scammers! Never going to book with them again! Im still waiting for my refund! I can only warn people to stay away from Opodo!
