The worst customer service I have ever experienced, anywhere. They don’t have a clue what is going on. Hit me with a addition charge to rearrange collection as they claim nobody was is. I was in all day, the courier didn’t turn up. Avoid, avoid avoid you will regret it.”
“I sent a parcel overseas, but a few weeks later was told that my A4-sized package was more than a metre wide (yet weighs 1.5kg). They have no evidence of this whatsoever. They rejected the photo I showed of the package, saying that the photo does not meet their criteria....
They then proceed to take £200 extra from my credit card.
My recommendation: please send your parcel with the shipping company directly. It may be not as cheap as this kind of intermediary companies, but it's not worth the hassle when fraudulent charges occur. The shipping company doesn't want to talk to you because you didn't pay them directly. I hope to get my money back through my credit card.”
“WORST COURIER EVER.... I paid £10 to ship a parcel based on the quote from there site. goods got lost for 2 weeks and I was told to claim for the loss..... despite the tracking showing that the goods were not delivered, my honest customer told me that the goods had eventually arrived over 2 weeks late. Finally almost 4 weeks later they took £48 out of my paypal account as a "surcharge", claiming that the package was 2kg heavier than stated.. I asked for evidence of this and they have been unable to provide it.

an email arrived demanding extra payment as the parcel was 3x overweight !
I contacted the courier UPS who informed me that the weight and size of my parcel were fine.
Parcel Compare say that you can appeal by holding a tape measure along side the parcel and submitting a photo to them (a month after the parcel was delivered and the packaging destroyed! Money will be taken from my PayPal account within 5 days ! DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH PARCEL COMPARE !”
“Please don’t use this company! I paid extra for insurance to make sure my item was covered properly. It got damaged. I contacted them and apparently my item is excluded. When you read the exclusions list, there isn’t actually anything they do cover but they are happy to take your money! The item I sent wasn’t a cheap item so now am out of pocket! No phone number to speak to anyone!
A course in good customer service wouldn’t go amiss!

No collection was attempted, no contact from parcelcompare. I was charged over £7 to rebook the collection because parcel force claimed they had attempted delivery (unable to provide evidence). Yet again no one has shown up. I tried to raise a complaint by email and chat and have just been ignored. I've paid £30 just to be disrespected. Never use this business.”

“Used the company to send a parcel. Advertised as free insurance and cheaper than direct. Fond out they were 40% more expensive than shipping direct and they don't offer insurance. Parcel got lost and their response was 'sorry no insurance'. Pretty poor service. AVOID!!!!”

“BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY, I paid for an express shipment which required importation, they created their own commercial invoice which is illegal, as a result they massively over declared the value of the goods £3000 as opposed to £75 , I reported this and they did not want to know and advised me I need to deal with the problem myself, eventually I sorted 3 weeks later I got my parcel. they then proceeded to take an unauthorized payment from my account for extra weight on the box, how they can get away with that is beyond me, papypal also denied the stop of the payment, be very careful dealing with this company, they have no idea how to run a courier service , they are just a middle man , take your money and that is it, any problems you need to deal with it yourself. DONT USE”

“I followed all instructions, paid my invoice and expected a courier to collect my package. I waited in all day - the house was occupied all day and yet the courier failed to turn up. I sent parcelcompare various correspondence during the day and only late in the afternoon received an ambiguous message telling me the courier would attempt 3 times and then come back the next working day. Well the courier didn't attempt once! I ended up taking the package to a drop off point in the evening. This totally defeated the object of me using parcelcompare because the package was a birthday present for my sister which she will not receive now on her birthday due to the incompetence of this organisation. I doubt they will hurry to give me a refund but I will not be using their services again and I suggest you pay a little bit more for a professional and efficient service.”

After I have paid my delivery with FedEx through Parcel Compare's website, it did not warn or notify me that they can only deliver from business to business address for my destination country, and I proceeded with my order without being aware of it. Parcel Compare then failed to deliver my parcel to the correct address and then attempted to charge me over £150 for the return shipping, which ends up being 3 times more than the cost of my item. Shocking!!
IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT BY PHONE. ONE NUMBER IS 'NOT RECOGNISED', ANOTHER ONE CHARGES OVER £8 PER MINUTE.
If you don't want to fall for this scam and pay more for redelivery, return postage and other of their made up fees, choose a direct courier instead. I wish I read all of Parcel Compare's reviews on here and Trust Pilot.

“If I could give a -0 then I would please please do not use this company there are currently trying to charge me an additional £200.00 for a parcel that was sent via ups I gave all the correct measurements and also added an extra 4.5 kilo to weight allow for the box weight they are now saying the weight was 118 kilo??? They want me to send photographic evidence of the box which clearly they know I would not have but reduced to send me information of how this weight was calculated !!! I’ve reported this to my credit card company and currently in contact with the financial ombudsment please don’t not use this company”
“If you want to buy a service this shower of morons offer think twice. Paid for next day delivery because my client wanted it 'next day' which was twice the cost of 48 hours. They delivered it eventually 48 hours later after constant chasing. When I demanded a refund of the price difference between next day & 48 hours I was told that I didn't pay for the guarantee so they can't refund me. Utter crooks!!! Think twice before dealing with this company if you want to get what you pay for. Oh and the reason for the delay, you'll love this 'they missed my parcel'.
