“They say they tried to deliver twice. Twice no "we missed you" notes were left anywhere. Called them but never get through. Arranged re-delivery online anyway, but it never came. Checked with them and they said "Now that you mentioned we can see you had arranged re-delivery. We didn't notice it and sent it back to the original oversea sender." I cannot understand exactly what service we are paying for.”
“Paid custom charges and picked a Monday delivery, stayed in all Monday. Nothing. Phoned Parcelforce to make sure everything OK and made a re delivery for the following Monday. Only day in all day. Was issued with a reference no for the delivery change. On the Wednesday when I got home a card was left to say not in and was left with a neighbour up the street. How do they not understand when you schedule a delivery for a day you will be there they don't understand”

“Do not rely on them for oversea shipping.Absolute let down yet again same problem in two months and last time they didn't even refund my postage. I sent an expensive item to Hong Kong costing me over £200 to post a week later returned to my house with a letter saying they could not confirm if the item was prohibited or not. The item was not prohibited and all details were in the documentation clearly spelled out. This has cost me a 3k sale
and now apparently I have to battle to get my refund from parcelforce what a let down totally unprofessional. Will stick with other couries from now on and changing my previous positive reviews of parcelforce on all sites...livid”
“We had a radiator for a Classic Car, broken down on the Scottish 500 in Tongue, sent next day to Wick from Fife on Thursday. Couldn’t guarantee delivery until Monday so attempted to collect it from Inverness. Jobsworth refused to let us do that as person not present but FaceTime possible and driving licence ID also available. Hopeless, intransigent service.”

“Parcel force, more like Parcel farce!
I've never had a good experience with parcel force at my current address. We seem to be at the end of a run and drivers care little about even attempting to deliver. Some examples of recent delivery experiences:
- Driver failed to deliver. after investigating with our supplier the driver had claimed he couldn't find the property, despite it being clearly signed, with the driveway directly off a local street similar to dozens of houses along the road.
- Another time they managed to find our address however opening a gate must have been too strenuous a task to complete the delivery, so the parcels were left at the post office 5 miles away to pick up the following day
- In a third instance, again didn't even bother trying to open our gate, we had resorted to putting our phone numbers on the gate whenever we are due a parcelforce delivery in an attempt to get the driver to do the right thing. Still no joy, the driver was "unable to deliver". we had downloaded the app days prior to the delivery and logged in leave safe and neighbour information which certainly feels like wasted time on our part. It had no effect.
I am finally resorting to constantly refreshing the tracking information on their app, as it does not update the drivers location automatically (another frustration that other delivery companies do not suffer from) in a bid to ambush the driver and get my parcel without another half-completed note being left at the gate.
Every other delivery company that come here (DX, DPD, Amazon, and even Evri) have no problem delivering to, or collecting from this address. I work from home so I'm always available to accept parcels.
Parcelforce could do with evaluating how their drivers are performing and take suitable action to rectify.”
“If it were possible to give zero or minus stars, I would certainly do so. ParcelForce is hopeless, incompetent and dishonest in my experience. I used the fastest and most expensive Global Express service to send legal documents (contracts for the purchase of a house) from the UK to Ireland. The package was an A4-sized envelope containing thirty sheets of paper and the charge for their 'next day' delivery was around £48. I made four calls over two days, trying to find out why the package hadn't moved after it had been collected (late) from our local post office. On each occasion, after holding on for ages before getting to speak to anyone, I was told different and conflicting information about it being handed off to FedEx (which actually does the work). On the final call, I was told that I should have been handed off to the Global Express enquiry team. The person I spoke to was on permanent 'transmit' and insisted in explaining in great detail how the service should work rather than listen to what had actually happened in my case. Her tone was entirely unsympathetic, almost as though it was my fault it had gone wrong. She seemed to think that a full refund was adequate compensation for the disruption caused by our inability to exchange contracts on the house we were purchasing n the agreed date. I would advise anyone with time-critical documents to send to avoid Parcelforce like the plague. Go direct to FedEx instead and cut out the incompetent and unnecessary middleman.”
“It has to be the worse company for the job. Parcel supposed to come Friday, waited all the day. Their truck was 2 houses down but apparently he couldn't find the address. I called the company and they rearrange delivery for Saturday, all the day wasted and no parcel. I don't want this any more so the seller has lost a sale and I have to find an alternative purchase. What annoys me most is the lack of communication for people who are receiving parcels when there are issues and the fact you can't speak to a customer service person for help. “My parcel was NOT handed to the recipient (me). It was just put in the hallway of our apartment building (of 18 flats). Our door bell WAS not rung! On the day of the reported delivery (20 Sep 2022 before 11:00am) NO parcel was found at all. When we found the parcel in the hallway THE NEXT DAY it had been opened and resealed with Scotch tape by someone else. THIS BOTCHED DELIVERY allowed someone else in the building to grab the parcel and examine its contents which were highly confidential.

“The building I am living in has a broken intercom. I put a note on the intercom saying that it has not been working. The Parcel force guy disregarded it. Meanwhile I was staying home waiting for my parcel. No knocking on my door but the Parcel force guy left a card in my letter box saying "attempted delivery". What a joke!
Reviews of similar experience have been found on different platforms regarding PF deliveryman making false claims that attempted deliveries. What a phony company!
I am pretty sure that faking a delivery attempt has been the general practice of the employees of Parcel force. I can assumed that the managerial knows about it but sit back and let the problem subsists.”

Paid £30 for insurance against "loss or damage"
Carrier used was Parcel Force. Despite being VERY WELL packed in cushions and foam inside the box, the record player arrived smashed.
l honestly don't know how Parcel Force managed it, the cast aluminium chassis of the unit was broken, something you'd struggle to do with a hammer.
The parcel looks like it's been either thrown out of a moving vehicle or dropped from a great height.
l hope the operative who did this to my property sleeps soundly tonight after such a rewarding days work.
Of course the insurance claim was rejected because l booked it through Parcel2go, who also wriggled out of paying compensation.
If you must use Parcel Force, DO NOT book them through a third party such as Parcel2go because both companies will wriggle out of paying when they destroy your property.”
“Why would anyone use this company to deliver??? These wasters charge £9 to redeliver on a Saturday!! No wonder they're dying, they deserve to. No other delivery company has such cheek!!!! They even charge you to delver to a local shop. No other deliver company does this. They also make it impossible for you to receive a delivery at home with their antiquated website which tells you they're coming but gives you no option to make a change.
