“Update of earlier review. Called Parcelforce depot this morning. Asked why driver could not find my address because street is short with few houses and numbering is straightforward. Lady who answered replied that parcel was returned to depot because driver did not have time to complete all of his deliveries. So as I thought the notes on the tracking record about tried to deliver, could not locate address, and left card were all lies. Offered delivery in 4 days time, which will be too late, or I could make a 50 mile return journey to their depot to collect it. They clearly could not care less about customer service.”
“Tracking info said parcel out for delivery at 08:43 depot about 20 miles away. 15:00 no sign of parcel called Parcelwise - on hold for 35 minutes waiting for an agent to be available then they terminated the call. Called Parcelwise again at 16:30 - helpful lady said she would contact the depot, get them to call the driver and then ring to update me. All this time the tracking info showed out for delivery. 18:51 (they supposedly deliver until 19:00) called local depot. Lady said "it's out for delivery". Asked her to call the driver and ring me back to let me know what is happening said would call me back even if unable to contact driver. No call back - no update on tracking at 17:20. 17:30 tracking shows "Returned to Depot" and says "Your parcel has been returned to our depot following an attempted delivery or a problem locating the address. Our driver will have left a card explaining what to do next." I was in my garden all day no one from Parcelforce came anywhere near, other delivery companies always find my house and Parcelforce have done so in the past. No card left! Because the idle drive did not attempt to deliver it or to find my address! What a shower - avoid them!”
“received text message from the Parcelforce on Friday telling me that my parcel would be delivered to me on Monday. I waited the whole day and nothing came in. the same happened on Tuesday and Wednesday. Finally, called their customer service,they put me on hold and after about 20 min I gave up waiting. .

“Extremely incompetent on so many levels.
Had to chase up on numerous occasions with Parcelforce - never received a ticket slip, a letter or any information pertaining to my package. Meanwhile, it sat at the depot for over a week without my knowledge.
Once I chased up, I paid the extortionate custom charges fees, they told me that it would be delivered next day. Only to be told the next day (i had to contact them again, mind you) that they simply didn't have time to deliver my parcel.
They did mention i can pick it up - pick up my own parcel which i paid for twice (posting + customs) because of your incompetent delivery staff?!?! Either way i need to travel an hour out to the depot, pay a £12 Saturday delivery fee, or take another day off? Either way I'm losing out. At this stage it would have been cheaper for me to fly to the country and bring back the goods myself.
Avoid them at all cost.”
“Appalling company. Poor customer care. No one takes responsibility for anything - given they are not accountable, who cares about doing their job right? So spend your entire time directing people to someone else so it becomes someone else's problem and no one has to actually use their brain to try and help find a package or a solution. My package was in the UK and could have been easily delivered but they chose to send it back to Australia in 24 hours. They're not even that good when you pay them to actually deliver something. I hate Parcelforce - this company should go bust. No one should use them.”
“absolutely awful , trying to redirect a parcel over the phone is ridiculous because your call goes to any random depot .
Then they leave a note on the system which never gets to the depot and they continue putting cards through my door.
so I did it on line ....3 days passed no delivery
eventually after 9 phone calls I speak to the actual depot who have received no info and in the guys own words 'its just sitting here waiting' ! about 2 and a half hours round trip !...whats the point in a delivery service !
so I gave him the new address , he told me its another 5 pounds fifty but he couldn't take the money and would call me back .........guess the rest !!! I will never use a supplier that uses parcel force again .”

Used them a number of times, every time had to deal with their abysmal service:
They say they will deliver your parcel at an arbitrary time of the day and to my knowledge I never received any delivery from them within the time window they promised. Let's put that down to random events slowing them down. Every single time.
I received a text or email saying they didn't find anyone home, when my housemate and me were around the house and had the FRONT DOOR open all day. Liars!
I am yet again waiting on one of their parcels as I write. Was down to arrive 3 days ago, paid for 4 days ago for a 24hr delivery. Useless!
If you have a choice please use LITERALLY ANYONE ELSE. Problems arise when international sellers, or stores you buy from online use Parcel Useless, and it creates an unavoidable string of headaches, in which case, GOOD LUCK!”
“My item was stolen by courier and I'm being made to lose out, ordered trainers from Office, next day delivery, said they came to deliver but left no note, then hear it's been picked up from post office, not by me...
How someone picked up without my ID just made me think, has to be an inside job.
I didn't get my trainers nor have I had any luck getting my money back....

“48 hour service took them 5 days. They have been asked to come in the afthernoon, because there won't be anyone at home. Dispite the fact that they've agreed, the driver came at 11:30am. That is afthernoon for them and that is the 48 hour service. That is how a company legally robs you and they get away with it.
Worst experience ever. The best thing to do is to never use them again and let them be bankrobed.

“paid £12.98 for a 48hr service that never was, opened claim but its closed because the buyer never sent parcel force the letter of remitance back?? even though i had proof i sent item and proof of items cost, and proof case open on ebay. parcel force didnt give me 1p back. 2months later my laptop arrived back to me damaged and parts missing, it was 3layers of bubblewrap ripped?? cant open another claim so lose out again. BE WARNED DONT USE THIS SERVICE WITH PARCEL FORCE not trusted and not guaranted to get there”
“My parcel was delivered nearly 2 weeks late, after the contents had gone out of date. I tried having it redelivered by booking a specific day on their website on the same day as their apparent original delivery attempt. They made false claims about contacting me and claimed to have tried redelivery on dates which I did not specify.
They also refused to let me check the contents before accepting delivery, even though their customer support staff said this would not be a problem.
Avoid these people at all cost...”
“After waiting in for 12 hours yesterday for a PARCELFORCE delivery which didn't show up and again today for almost 12 hours I'm going crazy, I've got things to do PARCELFORCE! I can't dedicate 36 hours of waiting just for you to show up! Don't ever use them! Use DPD who give 1 hour slots”

“I have been a Parcelforce account customer for 5 years. There's something SERIOUSLY gone wrong with this business.
I can't get to the bottom of just what but seems as if all departments have undergone some transformation that has degraded the service provided. Account management is none existent, replaced with being fobbed off with excuses and then ignored. One department doesn't know what the other is doing and they do not operate under their own terms and conditions. I warn anyone who books to send their parcels out under trading agreement to keep a check on what you are being charged otherwise sending through Parcelforce is going to cost you money so you cant run a competitive business. Honestly I know. And don't even get me started on them damaging and losing your goods.

“Partner sent 3 seperatr parcels from USA before he came here. I paid import duty. 2 parcels got delivered but the most expensive one didn't come. It took Parcelforce 60 days to declare it lost so I couldn't claim with us postal service. Seemed like parcel force were going to compensate until they found out the items were worth £2000. Someone at Coventry depot is a thief parcel force said "parcel has been scanned in to but not out of building" so either its still there or someone stole it. So thanks Parcelforce I'm now over £2000 out of pocket because your employ thieves.”
“Absolutely abysmal service - took a day off work to be in all day to receive two items that were ordered weeks before. Supplier did their part, only to be let down by parcelforce - who stated they tried to deliver on the day and no one was in - I was in all day, plus no calling card was left during the "apparent" attempted delivery. Not sure how a company can operate that takes the money for a service and then doesn't deliver! Unfortunately the supplier chose to use parcelforce, this level of service just cements why i will never use them. Very very poor.”
