Item was marked as delivered online, but we were away in a different city for a day. No card left, not left with the neighbours. Can't get in touch with Royal Mail, customer service is atrocious!

Out of everybody that deliver parcels the PO has by far the worst tracking system. It gives you no idea what time it is coming.

for the first time sent out a package that a customer bought. Yesterday sent it out and got it tracked with 1st class shipping. 24 hours still no update of the package and when trying to get it contact with royal mail there's no response.

Tracking on multiple items has stated that a tracked item has been delivered and it hasn't been delivered, then when I tried to contact the customer services and complaints department they just retorted the tracking information, even though I informed them it is wrong. They have stolen or lost multiple packages and refuse to refund me or find my items.

Paid almost a tenner to post a large letter from Belfast to Dublin. Letter contains valuable documents but I was not asked about insurance and I was not asked the value of the contents. I only found out after posting cover was only £20 (wouldn't come close to replacing the contents). Fingers crossed but reading these reviews I think this is going to cost me a fortune. Seems "Made in Britain" is a good reason to avoid something these days.

This is the message i get when i use the track and trace, We have your item at National DC and it's on its way. We expect to deliver your item today. The first sentence fine, the second part very misleading as it has the effect of making you stay in believing the item will be delivered that day, Wrong! Its been over a week now and still not delivered, after day 3 i realised it was a lie and got on with my days as usual, no updates on the item, still waiting for delivery. Thanks a bunch Royal mail for spoiling my days.

Awful... Sold an Item on Ebay, sent the item in good faith to the buyer. It's been well over two weeks and the Item never arrived. Had to refund the buyer over £100 and my Ebay reputation is now in tatters because of this incompetent lot. Had to wait gawd knows how long and eventually the Royal Mail website allows you to make a claim. After filling in an enormous amount of information it states that I will be lucky to get £20 refund if at all! Unbelievable...I have now waited days since putting in the claim and heard nothing, put in a complaint as well, still heard nothing. Like so many companies they indicate Covid is causing delays etc, yet they lost my mail on a previous occasion way before Coronavirus and they will carry on loosing!?!? mail way after there is a Global Vaccine available. You give your stuff in good faith to this lot via the Post Office, not wanting to let your customer down and they cause nothing but deep frustration...I would give '0' stars if I could because they completely failed in their duty to deliver my Parcel and gave me 0% Customer Service when trying to deal with the situation...Awful

Very disappointing service. I’ve sent a parcel to Austria for my best friends birthday, used the more expensive tracking service. Nice to see where my parcel was going: from the UK to Bosnia Herzegovina?!?, back to the UK, left UK again and is now..... somewhere unknown. 🤷🏼‍♀️ No reply if you send emails using their contact function, no refund, no nothing. Not the first time but always disappointing when you put a lot of love and time into a parcel to surprise someone and Royal Mail does not even have the time to answer (waiting for 5 weeks now).

There tracked 24,48 hour service shockingly bad. I’ve had deliveries take 2-3 weeks. Don’t be fooled by the name either. You get a tracking number but it does not track where the item is. It’s only for final proof of delivery! . You have to wait 10 working days before they regards a package as lost. Avoid if at all possible. Also question any shop etc why they insist on using such a poor service

Royal mail failed to deliver my order yesterday, they said it will be delivered today, but they failed again. No card left, just an email saying"sorry we couldn't deliver your parcel". They will try next working day, which is Monday. What a joke!

Parcel posted to Portugal 17th of July, been in Belgium since July 20th. Generic response to messages, ignored on the Royal Mail Twitter account. This is many time over years that mail has gone missing! I’m not giving up this time! Letter now sent to Sally Ashford, chief HR officer! I promised my grandkids a parcel, it’s now been three weeks when it takes two hours on a plane!

Ive Used Royal mail for my eBay items for years your better off sending it in a safe, I would say 2/3 items out of 10 will get damaged, example posted item last week boxed enough bubblerap to sink a boat and still got damaged. And don't even think about getting a refund its a joke, come on royal mail get your act together.

It's bad enough having to sit in your house not knowing what time royal mail will turn up but they won't even update your tracking number or say it's out for delivery one day they come at 10 am then they don't come to 3.15pm 🤬🤬🤬

Rubbish service. Have twice filled out a form to request parcels delivered to neighbour if not in and again I have had a card left asking me to collect from sorting office. Sorting office only open 7-9 am which is not on the card left which still has original times. Wasted journey, no-one to complain to and random delivery times so no-one knows when they will turn up. No wonder they are losing business. When I know that something is being delivered by Royal Mail I know it will cause me stress. Trying to avoid going out unless essential.
