“Called Screen With Envy before ordering and was told items in stock. So I ordered with next day delivery and this was confirmed at the time of order. However did not receive any updates and items still has not arrived 4 days later. Called to find out where was my order and was told items not in stock and will be despatched when they are back in stock. Absolutely disgraceful!! Do not use this company as they are not reliable at all. Very poor customer service and very hard to get hold of their customer service.”
“When I placed the order, it stated next day delivery. I have not received my order. I was told multiple times it will be delivered in a few days but the order was never fulfilled. When I contacted the retailer with their online chat service, I was told the item was not available and they will give me a discount if I waited till the end of April. I declined and ask for a full refund. They agreed to process it and the next day I received a delivery notification. I notified them that the order has been cancelled and I requested a refund. My contact was contact ignored. I have copied and recorded the transcription.
When I placed the order, it stated next day delivery. I have not received my order. I have contacted them maultiple times and I have always been told that the order will be delivered in a few days. The order was never fulfilled for 3 weeks.
During the three weeks, I have asked them to amend the ordered for a partial refund, I received a standard "I will request this and send you a confirmation email" of course it never happened - no emails, no updates and no refund. I finally got fed up dealing with them, I requested a full refund. "Ollie" offered 10% discount if i was willing to wait till the end of April. Knowing how dishonest this company is after three weeks of dealing with them, I declined and asked for a full refund. It was agreed on the chat.
The next day, the items I ordered that was not available until the end of the month was suddenly dispatched. I have informed them I have requested a full refund and even if it was delivered, I will not accept the order. Someone promised to call me back and resolve this. No surprise none of this actually happened. They have no responded apart from the usual auto reply.
I have initiated a chargeback /dispute with my credit card company, who has an excellent track record of getting my money back. This is a scam of a company and I will advice anyone m”
“My internet order arrived on different days. The second consignment had two cracked screens. I was unable to open these boxes immediately as I was away from home tending to my terminally I’ll mother. On alerting customer services the
"computer said NO' appalling levels of customer service @screenwithenvy a family company prioritising policy over family values. Beware also they don't come with wall fixings for the price despite asking. No reply. Only wished I'd chosen @charlesandivy for a much better customer experience. Avoid at all cost.”
“Absolutely shocking customer service and attention to detail dispatching orders. Ordered gates which arrived 29 March. We live on a busy road and have a two year old so we need the gates for safety. The gates have been pre-drilled in the wrong place so you can’t actually hand them from the posts. We have been waiting since then for the replacement. Each week we’ve been told it’s in the post via Yodel. Each week is hasn’t arrived. And now just been told that it will be another 2-3 weeks. Absolutely disgraceful lies. We’ve had a builder to set the posts and then had to keep cancelling him as time after time the replacement never arrived. They even sent an automated email asking us to submit a photo of how great the gates look. It’s still only two posts set in concrete at each side of the driveway. Shameful.”
“Both my orders incorrect. One had screens with shading and finish different therefore not matching. The second order the screen was damaged.
The response from the company very poor. Several e mails, responded to by different people - firstly denying a problem. Then offering a 5% discount and later rejecting this

“Absolutely shocking service!! Ordered on a Sunday- 5 days later still no screen delivered!! There customer service tell you a different story each time you call and they blame the courier, The courier company won’t speak to you as they say the supplier needs to, you are just going round in circles. They offer absolutely no help or any compensation. I don’t think I have ever dealt with a worst company before, disappointed!!”
“Placed an order in Feb next day delivery and didn't receive anything, when I contacted them I was told they were waiting for a new delivery and it would be here in march, still didn't receive it contacted them again and was told beginning of May I have contacted them again this week and have now been told June, when I asked to cancel it I was offered a 5%discount which I declined, I am now waiting for a refund this company are appalling when it comes to customer service not once did they contact me to say there was a delay I had to message them, let's see if my refund actually happens. “Really cannot state how awful this company is to deal with. My order didn't arrive and they don't care. Before despatch they send a very odd email about how they have issues with couriers . Why would a company send such a things? Alarm Bells start ringing immediately. I was Told I HAD received and indeed signed for the goods, despite my 4 security cameras, two dogs and a witness (an off duty police officer)in house at time they still insist the fake signature In photo was mine. They then said the driver doubled back to my house 5hrs later to deliver my item. Erm how, When I'd apparantly already signed for it?
At no point do they update, help or communicate and became abusive coming out with such utter nonsense you immediately know your on a road to nowhere. No matter what you ask, who you request to speak to, email addresses etc they refuse to help. Days after thier first two fraudulent claims of delivery they suddenly state it was delivered to an entirely different house along with apparant GPS location images. Why would it go to another address? No surprise that these images were also laughable as they had been taken from the middle of the road from the seat of a van more than 20 meters from nearest house. The houses in the image were neither my house OR No 9 where they had apparantly delivered. Maybe it was number 9 of Jupiter's moons as thier lies are out of this world.

I could go on and on with further horror stories with this company's ridulous behaviour which switches between childlike tantrums and lies to pure abuse and insults.
They also have zero data protection knowledge. They don't state calls are recorded but they apparantly are so please do ask for a transcript of your calls etc which you are legally entitled to for your evidence. They really don't like this but tough titties to em. They will also try to insist you follow a long winded procedure that they can't even produce themselves , yet another lie. A verbal request is all that's legally required. If they dont provide this info within 30 days Id suggest you go straight to the government information officer and raise a complaint.
I've often read reveiws of people having nightmares and thought they may be far fetched and the individial on a witch hunt
Maybe sometimes they are BUT this is 100% truth and I wouldn't want anyone to have the experience I've had. SCREEN WITH ENVY are really to be avoided, they really don't deserve your business , please do your research So you can make your own informed decision.
There are sooooo many groups and forums dedicated to issues and complaints with them which include screenshots of threatening emails and behaviours that just make the mind boggle. Worryingly theres definitely a common thread from too many customers at the hands of this company not to be true. Just please be careful and be informed before parting with your money.”

“All I can say is what a terrible company. I originally ordered a fence from them on the 02/11/2021 and was advised the delivery would be January even though on there website it was advised as delivery in 2 days!!! Then January came and I was advised February then on the 28/02/2022 I finally had enough and cancelled my order on the 28/02/2022 I was advised I would have a refund in 2-3 day. It’s now the 03/03/2022 and having been promised on numerous occasions it would be sent still nothing. I’m now forced to seek legal help. My advice run not walk away from this company!!”

“We bought a gate on 26 December 2021. On 01/01/2022 we asked about the status of the order, we received a reply on 05/01/2022:
"due to the high product demand over the holidays one of the products is unfortunately no longer available and we are currently waiting for a goods restocking, which will soon enter with us."
On 26.01.2022 we asked again, as we have not yet received any information, only newsletters with offers and discounts.
The answer on 27.01.2022:
"We sincerely apologize for the delay.
We are currently waiting for an upgrade of your gate, which has unfortunately been delayed due to all the Corona regulations. I have been informed that it will happen after delivery in March."
We were also offered a 10% discount, which we accepted on 02/02/2022.
We received payment on 02/10/2022.
On 24.03.2022 we asked again, as we have received NO information. The answer:
" I am very sorry that you have not received your order yet. I have looked into it and we are waiting for your (Moucharabiya privacy gate) to be available. The next batch will be ready from (May), once it is, we will make sure it is shipped as soon as possible."
The gate is currently still offered on the site, with no note that delivery is currently delayed!
We cancelled the order and should receive our money back within 1-3 business days. On 30.03.2022 we still did not have our money back. To get our money back we first had to open a dispute with PayPal! This worked very well, it took about 2 hours and then we had a credit on the account.
I can only advise against this provider. Here they work with delay and do not transfer the money back immediately!!!”
“Telephoned about order I had placed on the 6th February 2022.Said it would not be available till May I was not told this when ordering so I cancelled the order on the 6th march .Still awaiting refund .Customer service is shocking .”
“Very poor service. I ordered 2 side gates.
First of all they did not inform me that the panels had to be sawn to the correct size.
I then had difficulty attaching the hinges to the bracket that I purchased to attach to the wall. The installation video I was sent did not show how to attach the hinges. The hinges kept sliding down the bracket. Despite sending several videos to the company regarding the issue they were of no help whatsoever. Eventually I discarded the bracket and attached the hinges directly to the wall. Very poor service. Would never use them again.”
“Beware of this company if ordering a single item!!
All looked good at the outset, small family run business offering 2 day delivery. That turned out to be a little different.
They dispatched with Hermes which took over a week before informing all that they had damaged the first order. Not good.
It gets worse, I asked for the second to be sent with a different courier and with additional packaging. I then find it has gone with Hermes - no attempt to find an alternative courier despite assurances and also no additional packaging (if the first had any less then it would have been bare) - and then when it does arrive another 10 days later the package is left outside my house for anyone to steal (not exactly secure delivery as advertised). The box was in terrible condition and the product inside was significantly damaged - images give a flavour of this.
Requested a refund as I was not happy for a third item to be shipped with Hermes for more delays and probably more damage.
Was initially told I would need to pay to return the broken item, which I refused to do, then offered partial refund if I could still use the item. Again refused and then begrudgingly agreed to full refund and dispose of broken screen.
All in all this company is badly run and staffed. Most staff fob you off with standard replies and little to no empathy. Even had the cheek to email and ask for a positive review as they have had so many negative in recent weeks. Given my experience and those below is it any wonder.
Will not be returning for future orders. So disappointed as I really like supporting small businesses.”
“I purchased fencing in good faith to add to the fencing that I had already purchased. I had to buy extra as the first fence was blown down in a small storm in December so given it was not a storm of the magnitude of the recent storms tells you the fencing is poor quality.
The new fencing is terrible, it is so flimsy it bends and a breeze makes it pop out of the of the posts as its shorter than the original fencing.
Its poor quality, not fit for purpose and faulty.
I cant have a refund though as " They " don't agree its faulty and I have to pay to return it.

“Ordered 6ft privacy gate - what you receive after numerous phone calls with condescending staff, waiting for deliveries that don't show and lots of bits and pieces arriving separately is - PIECES of a gate not an actual GATE. Be very prepared to BUILD your own £340 gate! Instructions are poor and gate is not worth £340 at the end of it. Do yourself a favour and scroll past!”
“Very arrogant and poor customer services. Received damaged product. Refusing to replace panel. Shame as nice product. I have bought numerous times from them but they are not prepared to adhere to their legal responsibity to replace fault product within 30 date. It is regretfully that have to say do not buy from this company.”
