I have bought sofa set 3 years ago from store the lady who served us gave us measurements of sofa from store with the measurements she gave us was perfect for our living room but the sofa arrived its was way too big for living room we bought the sofa just to look nice now because of wrong measurements she gave us our living looks awkward.. contacted the customer care but they didn’t help us at all

Brought sofa full price 8th October Promise sofa five weeks delivery been cancel night before delivery day. Then promise 4th December waited all day did not show up. Then promised on 11th December cancel 1pm saying cancel as planning not loaded. Email and customer service are poor for response

I can’t get through on the phone can’t get through on the computer ordered my furniture in August told I would get it before Christmas told I would get it on the 22nd of November. I am now into December 12th and have no answers or anything pay the £2000 deposit in good faith but now I’m thinking of cancelling my order bought my furniture from the Stevenage store in Hertfordshire manager very nice person but after sales service rubbish do not buy from them my name, Mr. Kirkham.

I've been waiting over 15 weeks for my sofa, no-one seems to be able to tell me when they will or can deliver it. Couple of emails from social media team who just keep saying it's delayed and no more information is available. The whole company is a shambles and I wish I'd never bought from them. AVOID AT ALL COST

Currently waiting on delivery. No communication, impossible to get through to their contact centre and when you press 1 to get a call back they either don't call you or do 1 short ring and hang up. Local shop number call centre is saying it's closed so now I have to get a bus to go to the actual shop to get some resolution as I'm going on holiday and will not be here for potential delivery. If I cannot cancel this order it will be the last time I order from them. Shocking customer service.

What went wrong? Everything! Terrible customer service. They have had our £4k for 4 months, still no sofa, just plenty of BS. Would not touch with a barge pole.

Avoid this company selling cheap rubbish ,no one answering the contact centre phone only one number given,,I will take my sofa back to the shop sit outside and protest about the way they treat customers and there shoddy furniture

I'm absolutely disgusted how my great Auntie (88 year old )has been treated over the recliner chair she has purchased! The chair is not the same height as the one has been delivered. She has sent you all the proof and yet again you have done nothing. Oh sorry, you're just palming her off! she has got photos of proof of her sitting in the chair in your store to the one delivered and you can see the height difference, just by that alone. She has sent you so many emails. You would think with a big company they wouldn't have a problem changing the chair or maybe refunding because it hasn't been sat on since she's had it.

From first visiting Milton Keynes store, and meeting a fabulous sales team member Dave (welsh), we ordered our sofa, estimated delivery 7 weeks. After numerous Customer Service calls, various visits to Milton Keynes store, and never received the answers I needed...until I asked to cancel the order, then, the difference that made. We eventually had our Sofa delivered on 30th November 24. The delivery lads were amazing, Mark and Steve, these lads do all the hard graft, and admire their determination 👏, lads, you are a credit to SCS. Sofa looks amazing, let's see how it wears....!!!

Please save yourself the time, stress, anguish and associated anger and avoid this business like the plague. Zero customer service. Over 187 minutes wait time yesterday on call centre. No online chat available. No order tracking available. Over an hour waiting for the customer service to answer this morning. No invoice received at store. Promised an email invoice within days. 6 weeks later we are still waiting. We have had no communication from SCS since we paid them at the Chester store .very happy to take your money and then any sort of help and cooperation and communication disappears. I have little confidence my suite will be delivered before Christmas as was supposedly “guaranteed “ Awful. Avoid Avoid and then avoid some more

ABYSMAL AFTERSALES SERVICE - DO NOT BUY!! SPENT DAYS HANGING ONTHE PHONE PASSED FROM PILLAR TO POST - DELIVERY SLOTS RIDICULOUS WITHOUT ANY HUMAN SUPPORT - ONLINE CONTACT FORM DOESNT WORK - HAD TO PHYSICALLY RETURN TO STORE TO REGISTER A COMPLAINT AND WAS REASSAURED IT WOULD BE RESOLVED NEXT DELIVERY ATTEMPT - ANOTHER BLATANT LIE - WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY

Worst sofas I've ever had. Had one of their people out to check them after 8 days as they sag and it feels like your sitting on the floor. The frames creak and make a crack noise. Paid extra for foam as it was meant to keep it's shape. There's no support left in the foam. After I get Christmas out of the way I am going to have to buy new ones and these are barely a year old. Was told scs have been took over by another company and they don't want to know.

Sofa is completely different to what was ordered in store. The arms on the sofa are just velcro and just come off. The sofa should clip together but didn't stay together. Even tipping over when our granddaughter tried to get off the sofa. They came to re clip but the frame was not allied so the just fudged it and bolted it together. The furniture is that badly made even when you sit down on it the whole thing moves back. The gliders must of come from some very cheap suppliers as stayed on for 2 minutes. And after phoning about all the problems one one gets back to you. DO NOT BUY FROM SCS.

Where do I even start... We ordered our sofa from SCS at the end of August and we were told the sofa would be delivered the second week of November. Between ordering the sofa and our first "delivery", we received no communication from SCS regarding the status of our order. Additionally, the online chat and 'track your order' function is not available on their site. Our sofa wasn't delivered until Tuesday. When it arrived, it was the totally wrong sofa and not only that, it was half a sofa too (the corner of a corner sofa). We were told someone would get in touch with us that day to discuss but we heard nothing. I then was on hold to customer services for over 2 hours trying to find out what is going on with our sofa. After getting through, we were told there was nothing they could do and that the manager of the Chester store would call us at 10:30am today. Surprise surprise, no call. I then called customer services back today (and was on hold for over an hour and a half) and was told the Chester store manager would call me by 8pm today... again, no call. We're absolutely appalled by this customer service. We currently have no sofa and we have no idea where the sofa we ordered is or whether it's even been built. The whole experience has been very stressful and I've never dealt with a company of this scale that offers ZERO communication. Please save yourself the stress and hassle and avoid SCS at all costs and ensure your friends/family avoid them too. Terrible experience, never again.

Paid a deposit (rest on finance) in Darlington store. Was told that sofas were coming today (Wed 20th Nov) got a text on Monday saying there was an outstanding balance that needed to be paid on Monday otherwise delivery would be delayed. Assuming there was no balance (as I had paid upfront costs in store and arranged finance), I called anyway to be told that there was 'an unusual' £39.01 outstanding on my account. The operative said she would call the store to query - store closed for refurb. She said she called covering store, Stockton, couldnt get through. As the lady was struggling to get to the bottom of the mysterious £39, I offered to pay it over the phone until she had sorted so that it did not hinder todays delivery - I was assured approx 4 times that if I did that, I would 'definitely' still be getting delivery as expected, so I paid by card over the phone. Today, I get a call from the warehouse calling to 're-arrange' my delivery. Yes, calling on the day I was expecting delivery, to re-arrange it?! I explained why I was annoyed, nothing that they can do 'they are just in the warehouse' and earliest time they can delivery is a week from today. I have explained that I have nothing to sit on as I had them removed yesterday ready for delivery today - not interested. Have been told there is nothing that can be done. I feel absolutely lied to and conned. On holiday with head office, pressed 1 to get a callback which I was informed would be approx 10 mins wait time, over an hour later and I'm still waiting. False promises, avoid!

Shambles of an organisation, placed an order in September, due for delivery early November, tracked via the website (now took offline it was so bad) numerous calls and told all on track to then find the store had incorrectly placed the order and had cancelled it and reordered two weeks later. Didn’t bother to notify me, tried to say it was an “amendment” no that would be something I change, this was an in store error, and now advised there is no formal process to raise a complaint. All I can advise is avoid this joke of a company
