No stars allocated.Do not shop at this company please keep away.It has been a complete nightmare from day one.Waited 4 months for a carpet and no communication from the store.Unable to ring the store had to hang on for a long time and this was directed to a call .centre.All communication was initiated by myself.Had already paid full amount of invoice.Kept giving me dates and still no purchase received.No customer service at all.Extremely dissatisfied with the whole experience.Please be aware do not expect good customer service from this Company!!

Bought 2 large sofas,had repaired 3 times stitching falling apart,demanded to speak to a manager,not one available said he would ring back in 72 I said I bet you don't,they didn't,offered to replace to cushions so they would match,what about the other 6 ? Complete sharks

What a scums. bought a sofa from these as*holes and the sofa seat got flat within few years. Their technician inspected furniture and listed whats needs to be fixed and these scums disagree to get it fixed while its still under the warranty and i did pay extra ££ for extended warranty services.. they claim that as it takes more than 6.5hour to get it done and they disagree to get it sorted. Avoid them cus they will Rip u off and take no action in regards of aftercare. Reported to trading standards

Communication issues from day 1. Delayed due to communication. Carpets laid with wrong underlay, damage to my property, door bars poorly fitted and damaged, carpet not laid correct too slack. Complaints ok as executive office okay but fail to answer questions and try and hide behind terms and conditions that are not in the terms and conditions. No guarantee regarding refitting carpet basically if it fits after new underlay it fits. No diligence or care about customers once they have your money. Be warned fitters are classified as agency, you have no contact or ability to contact the fitters until they turn up at your door. No checks no management of them if they do a good job its pot luck.

Avoid the Croydon Branch Will not recommend anyone purchasing furniture from this store, great in terms of selling and winning you over to purchase, Jamie Johnson (store manager) sealed the deal. Been in constant battle to get an issue resolved regarding a rug I ordered with my sofas. Realised the rug was missing from the order this was in July. Contacted ScS to explain what has happen, said they were going to contact the store manager and should receive a response in 72 hours, nothing after that time No call, no email. Ended up going into the store, Jamie told me he will sort it and I’ll we’ll get an updated confirmation within the next hour or by the end of the day, no email. This went on for weeks and it took me to write a review on here to get any form of response, I was looking to cancel the whole order. Finally, got it resolved, he sent me an email on 30th August to say my rug is ordered and on the system. Looking forward to receiving my sofas and rug in September, which was scheduled for the 24th, happy days! Received an email saying outstanding balance was due to be paid, received this email on the 16th September…cool. Could of paid this online but decided to call them. Paid the balance off only to be told I will not be getting my sofas until first week of October…huh?! Where was the update? Had not receive any communication to say the date had changed, the guy on the phone couldn’t tell me why, this inconvenienced me as it meant a further few weeks without sofas but was prepared to wait….So we fast forward, received a text 25th September to say that my sofa and rugs will be received on the 5th October…ok. So today called up just to follow up that my delivery is happening tomorrow, the guy told me yes, relaying my order, but guess what no rug!!! Apparently the store manager cancelled the rug, why?! 1. Without telling me and 2. I have not received a refund. Contact ScS again as you can not go directly to the the store, they sent an urgent email to the Mr Jamie but out of curtesy he had not bothered to respond. So I have to wait 72 hours which is way after my delivery date. I have put a request in to cancel the whole order only to be told if I do I have to pay 25% of the order because I am cancelling and the goods are already at their distribution centre, but just for the inconvenience this should be waivered. Now I have to accept a part order which I am not happy with and as for Jamie avoid him like the plague, as it was his fault in the first place why I am experiencing this problem. Lack customer service and unprofessional. Would you think ScS would be eager to resolve the matter but they are hell bent on sticking to their policy, so won’t go outside the box to try and help the situation.

Spark sofa scs. Even though I opted for foam seat cushion so I wouldn't be constantly plumping them up when they get sat on the backs aren't foam. Wasn't told about this when I purchased it. Plus seat cushions aren't reversible so you can't alternative wear.

I ordered 2 leather sofas 12th of June was told delivery would be around 24th September. Kept end of September in mind and contacted them when they asked me to pay the balance (which I did) and asked them as I am 79 and live alone would they move my old furniture into the next room. Answer was no. So I paid to have it moved ready for the delivery. Now my furniture is not due into the warehouse until the 25th October so I will be lucky to have it before November. I'm too old to be sitting on my poufee or the floor. Wish I had seen this site earlier but SCS have made finding unfavourable reviews difficult to locate. Why they push sales when they cannot deal with the ones they have is beyond me. Now really worried about what quality my furniture will be.

Absolute shambles, order placed and paid in full in May and still no delivery despite assurances to the contrary. Messages left and no call back, emails unanswered they have now broke their own Terms and Conditions so refund requested; no reply, do not touch this mob....EVER

We've had  issues with 2 x La-Z-boy Recliners costing over £1200 each. We have had them for 22 months in our Static Caravan which is only used by ourselves so really only about a year's use.  The "leather" has started peeling off.  We had extra insurance but "leather" only covered for 1 year. Paid £60 for someone to come a find out why only to be told its hair oil so not covered.  The leather care kit they sold us is useless. Absolutely raging as we also have a 13 month old La-Z-boy corner sofa costing over £3,500 in our house and it feels as though to "leather" has deteriorated on headrest and arms.

Keegan and Carl delivered my sofas.very efficient with phone calls saying where they were plus saw we had new flooring so laid all blankets down .what thoughtful young men.well done for your hard work. Just brilliant service

Paid £3500 for a la-z-boy cream leather suite back in late 2017. When you buy a leather suite you expect it to last for years and even to become better over time as the leather ages. Not with this suite. We paid for leather but the suite is definitely not leather. The 'leather' has peeled and underneath is material. Its as if the 'leather' has been sprayed on. It looks disgusting and is definitely not what we paid for. SCS do not want to know. I could swear that the model we saw in the showroom is good quality leather but thats not what you receive. Avoid at all costs.

I bought two two seater sofas. Was told they would be delivered 13th Sept. No suites. So called them, apparently cancelled to 23rd, no message, nothing. They have now arrived, look OK, am awaiting for them to repair a small fix, told they would ring on the 27th, now onto 28th, still waiting.

Delivery was fine but the product itself . Well what can I say . This has got to be the worst suit I’ve ever bought . When it first arrived it looked lovely but I did notice the cushions were a bit weird looking a bit bumpy but I thought they just need wearing in . After a few weeks the cushions went really flat . This was on the 3 seater “The 2 seater was fine “ . I complained then they send someone out to look at it he agreed they were really flat . He took the cushions to his little red van and started stuffing them . When he brought them back I’ve never seen any thing like it . He threw the cushions back on and I honestly burst out laughing they were all over the place hard as rock they were . So again I thought ok I will give it a chance and again within weeks I feel as though I’m sat on wood . I will never buy a suit from this company ever again that’s for sure

Bought 2 Corner sofas over 4 months ago now , and still have not got them , they sent us an email saying they will be delivered on the 6/9/21 , so me and the hubby took a day off work waiting for it , for it not to turn up , so phoned the store to see where it was , to our surprise it had been cancelled, No communication or anything , And after getting rid of our old furniture , so as I'm writing this on the 27/9/21 I'm still sitting on floor waiting for another date when they will be delivered , No communication still , phone up and they say we don't know where your sofa is , Absolutely disgusting . If I was you and looking to buy a sofa go else where ,

Disgusting This store in croydon is a pure joke, there full of lies and promises and they don't deliver, they get emails from head office intact 5 and not on reply yet when I drove there there was no customers and staff were socialising and my emails where just sitting there, the guy called Arnold makes out he's a top manager he has a walking stick , he is the tightest person I met and he sends e faulty chair, since I tried and tried and no reply, avoid them 100% use dfs there more professional and do what they say, please don't go through what I went through as you will regret it take my word, pure useless service and they have no idea what they are doing , and they will rip you off. Please take my advice

Worst company ever! Avoid at all costs. Bought a 3 and 2 recliner chairs on 29/12/2019, which was eventually delivered last June 20 ( seriously delayed by Covid - fair enough) One recliner was dropped out of the delivery van, which ended up with the metal frame being twisted. To be fair, SCS customer service called the same day to arrange an appointment to have it checked. We were well impressed! Then it all went Pete Tong from there. 3 visits later and it’s still not fixed. Technicians come and take photos and don’t do anything. The leather in the seat has now become baggy as the seat foams have partially collapsed because of the old frame being twisted. Frame took months to replace ( by a subcontractor who struggled for over 2 hours and didn’t manage to fit it correctly) and now the seat doesn’t open/recline fully and the leather is still baggy. The technicians tell us they can only do what’s in their iPads and head office haven’t logged the fault ( despite telling them 3 times) but all technicians have all verbally agreed it has to be reupholstered - our neighbours at witness as they were in one day when the technician appeared…. This one was sober! The most recent technician turned up absolutely reeking of alcohol and still clearly very drunk!!!! Spent the whole visit complaining that he was feeling really unwell - no you’re hung over 😡😡😡 despite SCS telling us about Covid expectations, he rambled up, no face mask or hand sanitiser, then asks to use our bathroom - needless to say was sick! 🤢🤢🤢🤢 He shouldn’t have been driving let alone working. Sent an email of complaint to head office right away, received a reply stating would be back in touch 3/5 working days, heard nothing. Resent, got another reply… guest what? Heard nothing - laughable. The show stopper happened today though. Got a telephone call late SUNDAY afternoon 😳 with the advisor telling me that they hadn’t received my complaint emails after me asking (bearing in mind both had been acknowledged) and the last drunk technician has kindly reported there is absolutely nothing wrong with the recliner. He needs to go to Specsavers - mind you, he was still drunk, so I suppose anything would look good to him! I have now been advised to contact our finance company - SCS told me that, I didn’t suggest to go to arbitration. It’s going to be an expensive business for them as the camera doesn’t lie! ( photo of the chair is my profile picture) Utterly disgusted and fuming! They have the cheek to send a drunk idiot to our house, then he submits an inaccurate report which causes more hassle. Honestly will never buy from SCS again. Nearly £900 wasted. Was going to pay in full in cash but so glad we chose to opt for finance for the added protection. Note this wee tip guys - it’s invaluable! So, in lieu of SCS seemingly shirking full responsibility, it’s over to Hitachi Capital. …. Unless of course an SCS manager reads this and decides to eventually do the right thing! Come on SCS - it’s time to stand up and be counted! Oh! And don’t send a drunk technician 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

I cancelled my online order within minutes as the delivery time was too long.y You need to pay upfront before getting an indication. 3 weeks later I have not had a penny back. They admit was their error but i am being charged interest on my credit card for nothing. They just fob you off.....beware when ordering online

I have just spent 9 days working for them in their delivery call centre. I have never worked for such an unprofessional company. I asked the managers to keep the swearing and noise volume to a minimum when I am on the phone. and I was told that's how we work The day after I left they brought a new thing in that mate that ever changed of delivery has to be authorised by a manager which is most calls which create delays and more anger. so many of the deliveries were very late. The main manager Chloe never once spoke to me in that 9 days even though it's a small room. They found out that I was leaving so they sacked me to save face with the agency as most of the agents only last a day or 2. I hope the managers go on staff retention courses. and finally, the reviews are mostly good on here because the store gets them to do a review in store but that before SCS mess up with the delivery. I could say more but I will leave it at that.
