I signed up with talktalk broadband and tv, against my friends telling me not to. I received the hub and tv box together after my broadband went live. Set up the broadband and no problems, opened the set top box and found the box, cables and instructions, but no remote control. I tried to get in touch with talktalk to tell them about the problem, every avenue I went down was cut off, this was over 2 days. The one auto reply decided I needed a line test, so that took for ever. I eventually got a reply through trust pilot reviews, one part was the usual dribble which had nothing to do with what I had written, the next part said to go through twitter. I have been leaving messages for 3 days and still waiting. I had to buy a logitech harmony remote so i could ste it up to use the box. When I got the message saying my tv service was live I tried again to get in touch, but still nothing. If you value your sanity and avoid banging your head against a wall don't go with talktalk. I really wish I had listened, but I thought no one could be worse than BT. I am wrong, BT are above talktalk. Rename crapcrap...

I’ve only given one star because I had too, if I could put zero then I would! TalkTalk have very poor customer service! They are quick to take an upfront fee when you’re a new customer but suddenly cancel your order and then decline your request for a refund. It took me emailing the CEO to get that sorted out. It seems they’re using the current pandemic as an excuse to treat their new and existing customers badly and not respond to complaints. It is impossible to contact them at the moment as none of their phone lines are open and you could be waiting in a queue to connect to the online chat for hours. It has taken a month to get my issue sorted out which is a ridiculous amount of time as all I needed was a refund.

The worst broadband /telephone company I've ever dealt with. Disconnected me when I told them not too . Charged me for a service they weren't providing. Then charged me for cancelling my direct debit which I cancelled because they cut off my telephone and broadband. Sent in excess of 6 emails no reply to any from talk talk. Cant even cancel my account for poor service because they have nobody to take the complaints from me. Be warned they are attrocious.

I have been Talk talk customer for few years and it was one of the stupidest thing I have ever done. Talk talk broadband is the worst service ever. If you do speed check and find out the slowest ever broadband, you contact them. They pretend to be helpful by sending an engineer within few days to your place, but actually it is a charged service. You will be billed for up to hundreds. When I tried to stop the service after finishing my contract, it took me several phone calls. They took advantage of the COVID pandemic by stopping the cancellation service all together. I could not find any way to cancel my contract as all I had is automatic message. There was no online option for cancellation. When I attempted to email them, what I received is automatic reply. I eventually wrote to CEO office for complaint. Despite the agreement from the conversation of CEO office to cancel my contract which is apparently my customer right, I continue to receive billing for the service I do not agree to carry on. Why such company is still allowed to operate in UK? There are too many complaints and customer right violation. It is one of the most disgraced companies i have ever dealt with. Please avoid by all means.

Absolutely appalling company to deal with! I had an account with this company for a few years. During that time they billed me for services that I didn't request and this took an age to sort out but this was nothing compared to the problems I had when I tried to cancel the account when I moved premises. It took several phone calls and emails and more than a month to get this done. I Then received an additional bill covering the time I wasted trying to shut down my account that would have been invalid had they acted correctly. When I called and emailed to question this they once again reverted to ignorant/awkward mode and answered my queries with completely irrelevant answers. Although technically the service was adequate - BEWARE This company make it incredibly time consuming and difficult to part company with and they charge YOU for the time that they waste doing so. There are plenty of providers out there, you can do a lot better than this crowd.

My son has just moved into his first home and he tried to join TalkTalk for his internet. He has had his contract cancelled but hasn't been given a reason why. This is very bad of TalkTalk. Bang out of order. My son has now gone to Plus Net and I hope they can offer a much better service than TalkTalk did.

Avoid talktalk at all costs. It is one of the worst providers and whoever recommends it doesn't probably even spend 20GB on it in a typical month. The speeds are low and disconnection frequent. It can make you pull your hair out. It is just about the only company I wouldn't mind someone stepping in and shooting the top idiots over there.

Service from over sea's call centres useless.they read of script by looks now 7 weeks trying to sort my issues out.no help on call centres tried to cancel engineer with virus 6 times yes be coming same person I gave up.nit internet slow would be better to have uk call centres it would take 1/2 the time and sort out.

My Internet is now so slow its not doing anything at all 😵 can't get any help all alone and totally fed up. Soon as I can I'm changing provider to a company who CAN deliver the service I'm paying for

The same issue I have had since being with talk talk I have fibre and Intermittent connection. Your customer service is next to 0 rating and your service itself is appalling I will be cancelling my contract with you...you cant even explain my fluctuating bill..

Had TalkTalk approx 6 years ago, rubbish back then. Heard a few good reviews since that so thought I’d try again. Big mistake! I signed up with them roughly 4 months ago they done all the necessary tests on the line, switched it over and sent me the modem to get started. After having the broadband installed for a few weeks and not really using it that much I tried using Netflix. The speed wasn’t enough to stream movies when signing up I was told it was around 21 mbps. I done a speed test and it come up less than 1 mbps. I phoned them up to ask why it had slowed right down, they done some tests and later come back to me saying “it’s because the wiring in the building is old and the only thing you can do to get a faster speed is upgrade to fibre” I responded that it isn’t because of the wiring as my last provider was a much higher speed than what I was currently getting and other people in the apartment building also got high speeds. She placed me on hold so she could carry out further checks. Again come back with “you need to upgrade to fibre to get faster speed” so I asked as I’m not getting the agreed speed and it’s obvious it has nothing to do with wiring can I cancel out of my contract. Again “no the only thing we can do for you is upgrade you to fibre” A**holes

Absoloutely worst company I have ever encountered. After 15 to 20 calls all I have experienced is stress and arguments. All I want is to be able to connect to the internet, they can’t even provide that? They say ‘yeh we have reset that and you’ll be back online by midnight’.. I told them to stop lying and I won’t come off the call until I speak to a manager. Their response was ‘haha you’re going to stay on the phone until midnight then?’. Absoloutely disgusting, spoke to a manager who I asked for their name, turns out after further investigation they lied about their own name. Cancelling this contract immediately once we find another internet provider.

Terrible WiFi , definitely will be leaving when the contract ends, been shocking since the start and even began to pay extra for “faster broadband” which made no difference.

Still no landline, no response from talktalk and now no complaints department open. Rubbish company and won’t be renewing my contract this year.

tried to remove the boost add on from my contract, chat handler did everything to make sure I could not do it!, not helpful, still paying extra for a service I do not want or can afford, how many other pensioners like me getting the same treatment from talk -talk

Joined talktalk, 16th February. Fixed price, 18months faster fibre at £23.50 plus vat totalling £26.50.The estimated set up for my internet was 5th March. I took many days off to be home. They missed 3 appointments. I made many long calls but recieved lies about 2 months free service and credit in my account for missed appointments. No internet until 13th March. My first bill was totalled at £31.73 after 20 days, taken from my account on the 1st of April. I give up. Very Poor Customer Service. Terrible. I am suprised the company still exists. They only cause customers terrible stress. Lies after lies they will tell me. They promised compensation so their employees wont have to deal with my calls. Lies after lies. They have no respect for customers time. Amature skills of dealing with customers problems. I do not recommend talktalk to anyone. They make me feel helpless and stressed.

Worst service I have ever received in my life. Still here with no internet after being told it was going to be installed. Tried to call to make a complaint to be getting hung up on. I’ve asked numerous time times to cancel this contract yet STILL getting charged for internet I don’t even have!!!! If I could give this a 0 I would! DO NOT USE this provider.

1star is to much 10 %of 1star is to much tried all day to report a fault .they send me round and round but no help .they just want the money it is one lie after another and broken promise after broken promise

tried to cancel tv boost as I am being charged for something I don't want spent over an hour answering security questions only to be told they cant do it in other words being ripped off !!
