Shocking that they cant refund my holiday from 7 months ago never will i use them again

Teletext Holidays have stolen £1,099.00 from my cancelled holiday last year. They agreed to a full refund, as they changed the date to an inconvenience date. They also received the full refund from Ryanair, which they will not return to me. They keep promising a refund, but it is all delay tactics and lies. Customer service is terrible and a call center in India where nobody has the power to help with anything. Other than to say "don't worry". Please avoid at all cost. I have been trying to get my money back for 7 months now. See the Facebook group for more info. Thousands of people have also been robbed. TT790249

AWFUL COMPANY! Booked holidays with them for July 2020, which got canceled due to Covid-19. Still waiting for a refund 8 months later! Numerous deadlines given for a refund, none of which happened. The staff is rude and unprofessional; no line of escalation. Complaints department non existent! Will be taking them to court. AVOID AND NEVER BOOK WITH TELETEXT!

Total rip off. Read reviews before booking with these and take no notice of good reviews they've got to be fake. Sick of trying to get refund due to corona virus epidemic. Just keep getting faults info. Gona take this further and also put in for compensation. Pass the word on to friends and relatives. Robbing b...... swLter

Not worth one star. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. Total scammers holiday booked September 2019 (pre Covid 19. Cancelled by them July 20 still waiting for a refund February 21. They just lie about everything. Told me I could start the refund process in September 20 when I rang. Didn’t even inform the holiday was cancelled told me they sent an email. Only sent email offering vouchers. Reported them to cma. Please avoid at all costs

Catch yourself on DONT give your money away to these despicable scammers they are lowlife lying wasters.Don’t bother wasting your time ringing and emailing looking for a refund you won’t get one.You will get your money back if you paid by credit card if you ring your credit card provider and say that you want to claim under SECTION 75

Our holiday to Malta booked through teletext holidays for February was cancelled due to covid they asked me for confirmation from Ryanair I sent email I received from Ryanair to teletext holidays but heard nothing from teletext I've sent at least 3 emails tried talking on live chat but no response from anyone so I would advise people don't book with them

Booked a holiday for February last year. Ryanair cancelled the flights beginning of January. But a month later Teletext still took the balance of the holiday off the card. The night before we were due to travel teletext are still sending me emails to check In on line for a non existent flight. Fighting for money back for 2 months they haven’t even acknowledged the holiday was cancelled. Robbing b******s. Still no refund

Nearly a year after our holiday was cancelled because of Covid, we still do not have a refund. First we were told we would get a refund in November, then they said by the end of January 2021, we waited until the end of February before calling them. After 15 minutes we got through to someone on the phone who said, I am just going to put you on hold whilst I talk to my finance department. 1 hour later, I was still on hold.....he had no intention of getting back to me. I called again straight away because it just made me more determined to get through but as soon as I got through, literally before I had time to say anything, they put the phone down. What’s so frustrating is the underhand way they are going about all of this. It is truly despicable and they should be investigated.

I worked hard for my money to go Holiday due to cancellation Teletext refused to refund.We called TUI they said they paid our money back to TUI.Government should do something this company.

Still waiting for a refund from a holiday cancelled last June. Nobody has the decency to reply to any emails and if you ever manage to get through on the phone, you are lied to by staff saying that your refund Is being processed... it never is and you never hear anything from them. Teletext holidays are clearly thieves and should be prosecuted for their immoral and illegal activity

This company should just refund everybody then fold they are useless takes 45 minutes to get through to them then they are no help the refunds are non existent and their customer service is dreadful ignore the one star I gave if I could it would be minus five.

Great help from Vamsi if you like being lied too!! Vamis has mis advised us when booking our honeymoon! the night before (22/02) government announcing no travel until May17th he advised they had been given pre information travel with neg covid test is all that would be required, so with this we trusted him and booked for 30/04 to canaries.. called teletex on 24/02 to discuss as we feel we were mis sold the holiday! of course we were told they cant refund! i was basically told to get to the back of the queue as they are still paying back from 1 year ago! They should not be allowed to get away with mis advising customers!! i will be calling back daily to get this resolved and asking for vamsi to explain why he is lying to customers to make a sale, credit card company advise putting it in writing to them and request the phone call audio to help my charge back dispute..which i have done.. i thought better of this company allowing people to pay 1000's for holidays when they know fine well we couldn't travel on our dates!!

I like many others here, booked a holiday in June 2019 to fly in April 2020. It got cancelled due to a Covid and the flights were refunded by Ryanair to Teletext in July 2020. Despite me telling Teletext by email, to which they have not responded. I do wonder if the refunds department actually exists! It is now 7 months that that have held my money illegally and I have had to use the insurance company's legal team to pursue my claim. I also reported to CMA and ATOL, but no joy there. I will never use Teletext again and if I could would try and prevent them from continuing to trade as they are a disgrace.

Customer service is shocking, if I could give minus stars I would! Refunds process is not difficult it is non-existent. My query has been on going for 3 weeks and is still unresolved. Live chat doesn't work. Having to cancel holiday due to Covid and they are asking for 50% cancellation fee despite the promise of no fees due to Covid DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY.

I booked and paid for a holiday in Feb 2020. It was then cancelled in March due to Covid, after many many phone calls and e-mails I still haven’t receive my money back. Empty promises and dam right lies A year on and still not returned my money. Please do not fall into the same trap as I did. *Do Not Book with these Robbers *

Hi to anyone thinking of booking through teletext, don’t bother, I booked a holiday for my anniversary paid for it, but it was cancelled to due to coronavirus. I have been waiting over a year now for the refund I have called emailed everything anyone can do to get it back been promised that I would get at the end of the month every time I rang in. But still haven’t received it now I can’t get through to anyone regarding my refund so I will leave to the bank to get my money back. Never have I had such bad experience but the staff who answer phone are not professional lines are not clear and they keep cutting off overall a bad experience.

hese crooks are absolutely amazing at what they do. They are even selling holidays during the lockdown period knowing full well......there are no flights!!! William was so convincing on the phone though. He assured me that the airlines were still flying. Then there was our holiday that we had booked back in June. The customer service.....outstanding! Once you have booked, there phone systems disappear and they refuse to answer your phone calls by hanging up. Emailing is just as good. They don’t reply! If your lucky enough to finally get though like we were and spoke to Puja, they politely tell you to rebook with them and lose your money that way, or just give up and lose it anyway! There are ways of getting it back though. Though the small claims court or going though your bank but they will fight you for it!! At the end of the day, it’s their money, they have conned you out it! The best bit is yet to come!! They get their staff to write reviews....... William was amazing, Puja was helpful, Ali’s customer service was great!!! Notice the pattern. It keeps their ratings up so they can keep conning more people out of their hard earned money!! DON’T BE FULLED!!!

Absolutely disgusting service Absolutely disgusting service, still no refund from our holiday from 10 months ago. Constantly lying to us about it being processed every week since August, I hope Teletext never get another booking from anyone ever again.
