Come on Teletext, you may have refunded so much but the rest is still to be paid. No good reviews for your customer service

TT775317. I was supposed to go on holiday in June and still have not received a refund. At this point I am trying to put this back through my credit card company and I cant even get an email from the teletext now so I can get a refund that way. Impossible to work with. Have spent hours on hold for the most simplest and reasonable requests.

My holiday was cancelled in May due to COVID, fed up with this company, after emails various departments of been looked it, promised to be given refund by September , never happened, now can not get through on the phone either. Will not book through them again totally disappointed, might have to get in not with trading standards if nothing sorted soon. TT718760

I booked with these guys every year. this year is a disappointment. my holiday was in june so was cancelled due to covid. The communication between eachother and towards us is terrible. They dont have an answer and lead you by saying a date and then that date past and no communication and no refund. i was told i can only change my holiday then only have a credit note then i have to wait 90 days till a refund then november now im just on a list and cant give me a time frame now. i speak to multiple people everyday and each one give me a complete different answer. just somthing they think customers will accept and take. i was told on the same day that it was due in november then i was told by someone on the exact same day im just on a list and cant give a date yet. This is showing they either dont have the money or they have no idea what they are doing. where is my refund you keep promising me everymonth and then no communication. TT785688

TT768334 I also spoke to Satwick this evening who assured me I would receive a call back within the hour from Ned in refunds to confirm mine had been processed. Surprise! No Call was received! Teletext Holidays are thiefs and scammers NED From Refunds!! Where is my call or refund?? I was promised a call back within an hour at 6pm. I received no call of course! I was then on hold for an hour over 4 calls trying to reach the person who was dealing with my query “Ned” I Kept getting cut off and still no sign of update or resolution! I’m sure this is just another scam just to get some positive reviews to counter act all the awful ones!!! This review was given on the basis that my query was being resolved. Absolutely gob smacked at the level of low this company will go to.” Satwick was very helpful. He answered my questions and directed me to the right people.” NO HELP WAS RECEIVED In THE END! All I want is my money back!! TT768334

Booked a holiday to Disneyland Paris for December for my daughters 7th birthday as a surprise. My partners suffered a major stroke end of June and spent 4 months in a coma in intensive care, I sent medical evidence to teletext stating he would no be well enough to fly come December ‘he’s still in hospital now’ and requested to cancel my holiday and for a refund, they told me I would need to pay cancellation fee. I spoke with easy jet who our flights was booked with sent easy jet the medical evidence and they refunded the flight money to teletext the same day no cancellation fee needed as it was due to medical, I spoke with teletext regarding my money been sent back to me after around 50 emails, Iv lost count of how many phone calls promising people will call me back and haven’t... I feel absolutely robbed by this company. I usually book a holiday every year with teletext and will never book with them again I would rather pay extra and book with someone else. They are ok when your wanting to book a holiday bombarding you with phone calls and wanting money from you but when it comes to giving you money back. Absolutely disgusting avoid in all areas. I will be taking this matter further to court proceedings

Don't book with Teletext till refunds are paid back from 2020. Holiday booked for May 2020. Cancelled by Teletext and numerous emails promising refund which still waiting for with still false promises of refund in 7 days. Not holding my breathe and going through the courts.

I would not recommend this company at all. They are responsive when you are booking a holiday and quick to take your money, but quite the opposite when you need to cancel and request a refund. We booked a holiday for September and had to cancel because I had an accident and couldn't travel and since the end of August, we have been requesting a cancellation invoice so we could get a refund via our insurers. Every time we telephone, we have to explain our situation again and are told that a message has been sent through to the cancellation team and then we hear nothing at all. Although the operators we speak to are very polite, they have no authority to do anything and are there just to appease customers, albeit temporarily. Unfortunately, we feel that we are not being listened to and have been forgotten and are £2,700 worse off. I am going to submit a formal complaint but I don't have much confidence given the experience we have had so far.

DO NOT BOOK WITH TELETEXT. I booked our holiday 4 couples at approx £8,000 to leave in May 2020. Since then have contacted Teletext several times (they either do not answer the call or cut you off) & sent several emails which they do not answer, EasyJet had refunded full flight costs to them inJune . WILL NEVER YSE THIS COMPANY & WILL ADVISE STRONGLY TO STAY AWAY FROM THEM. All you will get is automated response below

Please do not book with this company, read the comments below these people are telling the truth, the company does nothing for you, I will be taking my claim further, please if you want a nice relaxing holiday or a refund don't book with teletext

We had our holiday cancelled in July 2020 by Teletext Holidays due to the covid pandemic. However, the process of trying to get a refund has been an absolute nightmare. Teletext holidays have lied to us consistently throughout the entire process saying that we were not eligible to apply for a refund until months afterwards. Apart from being a lie it is not the law. Have since found out that they are legally bound to refund our money 14 days after they cancel. Every email I sent was ignored and when I was finally able to talk to one of their representatives, they said they would only rebook a new holiday and they would not refund our money. When I said I would pursue them through the courts they wished me luck and terminated the call. They state on their website and correspondences that they are ATOL protected but since then have found out (from ATOL themselves) that ATOL protection only comes into effect if the company stops trading and goes belly-up. If the company is still trading the ATOL protection is useless. Absolute crooks and liars ... don't ever book a holiday with this cowboy outfit!

Teletext are the worst travel company I have ever dealt with. Even though we specifically asked teletext if children were allowed in the hotel they booked for us, Luckily before we left I called the hotel direct and they advised kids were not allowed. Teletext didn’t even know this but refused to refund the full holiday price when I told them and blamed us for booking it with them. As we were due to fly the next day and with no hotel to stay in (although we paid for this in full) after holding for 6 hours on the phone to the call centre in India and being continuously cut off, under duress we agreed to accept the refund for the hotel which we were told would take a week. They would not refund the flights. Nearly 3 weeks later we still have no refund and called the call centre again today to speak with a lady who kept laughing when she thought I was on hold. I sent a complaint a week ago but still no acknowledgment even though they say they will within 2 days. Avoid this company they are the worst ever and the call centre just doesn’t care at all.

Where is my refund teletext I was going to Turkey jubmbe 2nd you cancelled it easyjet has refunded our flights to you and you are holding on to it im wondering if you are ever going to refund us ,I will be taking you to a small claims court if I don't get no joy from you its beginning to wear thin now all you do us flob us off another 10_14 days and we are sick of it now its theft pay us what you owe us please.

Cannot give 0 stars , and of course your sorry ...really , I have been waiting 7 months for my refund and am getting no where , Teletext holidays needs to be shut down , and if that flaming Richard replies by saying he's sorry and that they are looking into it , its complete rubbish , they hang up when your on the phone or make you wait to speak to another useless operator and now ignore emails , nothing but a bunch of criminals masquerading as a family holiday company , anyone reading this needs to be aware of how much they actually disrespect any of their customers

Terrible company lie to all the time won’t give me a refund for my holiday that was cancelled in May even tho I have asked lots of times for a refund ignore emails I sent loads and lie on the phone to me telling me my money will be in the bank in 7-10 days and still no money back just give me my hard earned money back will you ?? 😡😡

Worst company I've heard of. I am outraged by the way customers are treated. Our vacation was canceled and this company left us without any information or assistance. They have not responded to emails for 3 months. They robbed us. I got a refund for my flights on a voucher with my name on it and they charged back my flights without even informing me of it. Give back my money!!!

Absolutely shocking company, breaking the law and acting illegally refusing to give customers refunds from holiday’s cancelled due to the pandemic. Refunds by law should be issued within 14 days for package holiday cancellations. The government or watchdog need to get involved and close this company. Booking reference TT801042.

Avoid at all costs. They took so long to get a refund which I still haven't got since June, Such poor customer service. Now they keep ringing saying I will get a special deal only for me. I ended up going up to my card company to dispute who have taken it forward. They just keep your money and try and sign you up with another money can't buy holiday special deal the arse (sorry but they are a bunch of cowbows) they had the money back from easy jet and sent no confirmation about that or when I could see my money back for that. I have ended up making a complaint to the competition marketing authority. You look at their website and they are all so positive and 5 star reviews I think they must be fake reviews. It is a shame you can't opt for half a star or no star. What I find strange is it comes up as Justin Travel and not teletext holidays. I left a review once and said give your reference number to customer service but they are so useless. I eventually spoke to a manager who said people get paid per day in the Indian call centre when I told him about my frustration after 8 weeks of waiting to speak to a manager. I have a heart problem and this has made my heart condition worse with all the stress. PLEASE AVOID FOR YOUR OWN PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH.
