My holiday has been cancelled. The airline and hotel have confirmed this. I have requested my money back. Teletext refuse to give me my money back. They lie and cheat and scam their customers. No ethics or dignity in this company. No refund has been offered or recieved like many other 1000s of customers.

Do not book holidays with Teletext! No email to say our £2400 holiday to Mexico has been cancelled on the 8th June through TUI. Called over a month ago to try and get an explanation as to what the outcome would be. They told me to call TUI for a refund. Called TUI, they then said it was Teletexts responsibility to refund us. Just going round in circles! Phone number has been removed off the website, no response from email or live chat. Do not book!

Teletext holidays have stolen my money!!!! You owe me and my family a refund of £1498.00. If you do not want to be fleeced by corporate thieves, avoid teletext holidays!! An unethical and unlawful company!!!

I was telephoned today by Pooja from Teletext Holidays to inform me that my holiday to Spain was cancelled but was aple to offer me three options. I could rebook my holiday for next year at no additional cost to me or have a credit note or accept a refund. She went through all the options very carefully with me. I felt very relieved after her telephone call today. Thank u Pooja!!

TT787578 Started booking a holiday on March 4th. Flights were booked then all of a sudden the hotel wasn’t available. That’s as far as we got. I said just cancel the flights and refund me. The advisor tried to get me to take other hotels and I said no just a refund please. I was told 3-5 days. That was the 4th of March! I have phoned, live chat, emailed and all tell me it’s sorted and I’ll get my money in 3-5 days. All lies. The last email from customer support said “thank you for your patience and not sure when the refund will be processed.” I need my money refunded please. Not good enough. We were not locked down at that time and there was no excuse. Carolynne Dineen

I WOULD KIKE TO GIVE ZERO STARS BUT I DON’T BELIEVE THATS AN OPTION. You still haven’t got back to me numerous times as you promised relating to my holiday for the 18th of April 2020 you cancelled. I’ve had all the standard paragraph rubbish as well as jimmy saying there’s nothing more he can do numerous times. Then been told to contact you via the chat link that I’ve done numerous times prior. Only this time no ones answers. Now I’m told and asked again to give my booking details but this time by Janet I think. Which I have and again no response. I will state again your breaking the law. It’s been stated on Martin Lewis as well as numerous tv programs. I don’t want another holiday as there all inflated prices. I don’t want a credit note as I need the money now to get through this Covid 19 pandemic. Give me back what is mine please. I look forward to more standard paragraphs as well more promises from you when I contact you. Yet you don’t reply. Why don’t contact me (after all your still doing that promoting your holidays)

Was due to go to benidorm next week Ryanair cancelled informed teletext holidays asked for refund several times only to be fobbed off they were quick enough taking my final payment knowing full well we wouldn't be going on holiday been offered refund credit note but I want my cash back do not book with these guys they are fraudsters

Only put one star so a can register this review. I like the pages before me just want a refund TT766164. I am over 70 and do not intend going away until there is a vaccine for Coronavirus. Just sent me yet another PCN. Had phone calls to book again etc. this latest email is saying again 31 July 2020 but may be delayed again from this date. Booked many a holiday with Teletext but never again they say a company shows it true self when you want your legally entitled money back! PSC

After informing teletext that I would not be accepting any voucher etc from them as I want a full refund to my credit card, they sent me a email with a PDF of a voucher for the accommodation part, but that they could not send one for the flights (EasyJet) as they were awaiting the refund from them! They know they are breaking laws but they don’t give a dam as I suspect they are trying to get even more money in, not just the money that they are with holding from customers already and will just I suspect go into liquidation then open up again in a different name just as they have in the past. They don’t care that they have given a bad name to the travel industry but also with India, they truly are despicable people. In fact they and all other travel companies should adopt what Trailfinders do by keeping customers monies in a account and not pay airlines etc until the customer has had what they have paid for, just as estate agents, solicitors etc. do. ( Simon Calder ) mentioned this in a interview on television with a MP the other day. If travel companies had to do that as those other companies/businesses do their would be no way that a company such as Teletext would/could exist. In fact with the voucher that they are trying to get its customers to accept by stating/admitting they have been paid for accommodation so are actually blatantly holding onto that money! They have the audacity to also say that customers who have been given and I state given not accepted though as in my case, that they can use it by re-booking with them, my goodness as if any customer would re-book with them. Plus the replies to some of the reviews are also despicable as they are total liars. Colin

Still no refund! You owe me 1498 pounds. Pay up! Stop ignoring customers and pay the refunds you owe them. Terrible company Horrendous customer service Avoid!!!!

Same sort of situation! I have booked a holiday for 20th May 2020. Got cancelled due to covid. I have sent many emails to rlly text regarding a full refund as I do NOT want a credit note. Been waiting for a few days for someone to respond to me but still nothing! Terrible service all I want is my money back. To make matters worse they have taken there contract number off the website so only want to contract them is email which they are not replying too. Absolute fund! I will be taking this higher as this is unacceptable!

Same story as the many I have just seen regarding a refund. They are holding our money illegally for our cancelled holiday. They blame this on the airline, Ryanair, but won’t issue a partial refund even which covers the accommodation for the holiday. I was discussing this with one of their operators on the phone when the call dropped. Surprise surprise they did not call back. Absolute fraudsters. *****Everyone please note that you can quickly claim your money back from your credit card company if this is how you paid*****

Booked our holiday in 5th February 2020 for holiday scheduled for 29thMarch 2020. Reference TT80001. Have made it clear that I wish a cash refund and being told that the hotel is delaying this process. Would like some assistance with this asap or will need to consider our options as to court action.

Refusing to issue refund for £2500 holiday to Turkey that was cancelled in the middle of March. Teletext Ref: TT755277 @Teletext Holidays - do not respond with the usual 'we will pass this onto the relevant department' because this a lie. All I want is a refund.

They are thieves, refusing to issue refund. They quote ATOL and TTA guidance that does not exist in the hope that I will accept this. DO NOT BOOK A HOLIDAY WITH THIS COMPANY - GO TO YOUR LOCAL TRAVEL AGENT WHERE YOU CAN SEE SOMEONE FACE-TO-FACE. Booking Ref: TT755277

Failing to issue refund despite one of their representatives actually stating that a refund was going to be issued. They are absolutely in breach of EU, English and Aviation law - they know it yet do nothing to address the situation. The are issuing credit notes and are now planning on going bankrupt allowing ATOL to pick up the refunds. It is as obvious as night and day what there tactics are. This company have continually lied to me. They closed their telephone lines and are not doing anything to help their customers. Avoid them at all cost. When booking a holiday you should instead go to your local travel agent where you can see someone face-to-face. Teletext Holidays are an absolute joke and will be out of business on 31st July. I expect I will get the usual response from Becky or Richard - both of these are from India so drop the english sounding names. They are complete frauds.

HI All, i am one as you guys who is waiting for the refund long after holidays are gone past. Teletext is not going to change, the boss have filled this pockets well enough and now they need to pay back so they acting like that. customer to customer they make 100% to 200% profit on packages, now when they have to return the amount they looking for easy way out. i am creating a FACEBOOK group called "TeletextRespond" please join the group so we can together take this further and get our money back. regards

ABSOLUTELY APPALLING customer service. They are ILLEGALLY holding £1,959 of my money and refuse to provide me with any information as to if/when I will get my money back. They send automated email responses to my complaints. Absolutely despicable way to treat their customers. I have no choice but to take legal action against them as they refuse to speak to me.

Had my holiday cancelled due to the current Covid 19 situation. Teletext holidays are refusing to give a refund, they are only offering me a credit note or to rebook with them. I have sent several emails to them , all to no avail.

Well holiday cancelled on 7th April Well holiday cancelled for the 7th April We Went on live chat on the 2and of April not helpful at all said someone would call to discuss After 5 weeks someone called offered to rebook After we gave the days we wanted in September or if not would like a refund The lady said can she call back in an hour guess what no phone call and still waiting Now we I just want a refund Not happy with the service or lack of Never booking with teletext again or would I recommend them after this POOR COSTUMER SERVICE TT765859 This is the law 1 A full refund within 7 days 2 credit note if acceptable by customer 3 rebook holiday an no extra cost to customer Now what part of that don't you understand You are braking the law !!!
