I live in Ireland and because of the government covid restrictions I decided to order a picture frame online as I had previously bought the same one in store and was happy with it. I ordered on the 8th of November, a 20×30 inch acrylic glass frame, it arrived today the 20th in a box that was at least 10 times too big. Seriously ridiculous the delivery driver was completely bemused when I said what it was. Now to add insult it's broken! I will not be returning it because it seriously is not worth the wait for a 7.95 frame ,sent from England when there's stock available here just ridiculous. I most definitely will not use the online service again.

Keep well away from this company if you want to keep your sanity. I had a delivery of self build furniture 5 weeks ago. Panels were damaged and seriously bowed and some missing. A complete package was missing. All reported to customer service with dozens of photos and part numbers. They don't answer their mails for days and indeed when I eventually got through on the phone they admitted that an e mail I had sent over 3 days before hadn't even been opened as they are only allocated a certain amount of time to deal with them. When you try to chase them on the phone you can wait for over 30 minutes. When I tried to speak to a supervisor or manager I was told that "we don't have any customer facing managers" It is now 5 weeks and I have 2 bedrooms of part assembled furniture and no end in sight. I am 69 years old and have spent approx £1200 on my order and to be honest it is the worst customer service I have ever had in my life!! The company is a farce and once they have your hard earned cash they just don't care. BEWARE & STEER CLEAR.

5th time now of visiting, there won't be a 6th. Supervisor on duty dealing with a customer in front of myself with a query on pricing being overcharged, she lost it and was very unprofessional! I was waiting in the queue for the same thing as I'd also been overcharged, 2nd time I've been told offer already finished and also many items not priced. She was shouting at the customer in front of me that there is a pandemic and she wasn't paid enough to take this, if she worked in my business she wouldn't be in it any longer! When it came to my turn she was needed again and called over the tannoy, she rolled her eyes at me obviously because I had the same as previous customer but for different items. For a new store the service from the staff is that of indifference and take it or leave it, I will be leaving it! Maybe the team in there need to go on the same customer service team training as M & S across the way, shameful attitude.

Been waiting over a month for this outdated company to sort out a faulty duvet cover. You can’t return without contacting them but they never answer the phone. They arranged a pick up that never happened. Still not answering my email saying it takes 4 days. I think they hope I will give up, no chance.stay away

Worst company every to deal with getting a refund. Ordered furniture was given a delivery date and emails saying will be delivered, delivery date came and got an emails saying sorry not I. Stick till end of January. Asked for a refund get mixed dates when you ring. I’m on day 11 waiting for a refund, this company will not get another penny out of me.

Ordered mirror online, it did not arrive on day, message from carrier said there was a problem and to contact sender (the Range) for information. For a week now I've spent 10 hours hanging on the phone waiting to speak to customer services to no avail. Got 2 email addresses, neither any good, messages keep coming back to me saying email address non exsistant. I am so angry and frustrated over this. I have left numerous messages via my online app and still no one has got back to me. I am now £55 down and no goods. SHAME ON YOU RANGE. Beware buying anything online there is no help for customers if there is a problem and local store just as un-helpful as they say nothing to do with them. I thought they were all the same company!!!!!!!!!!!

Helpful staff on the shop floor but terrible on the customer service desk. Queues of people waiting with one lady on the till and the supervisor just standing around chatting and laughing with various members of staff. The supervisor needs a course to help him learn some people skills. This is the Clacton store

On walking into the imperial park Whitchurch Bristol today ,to take back a Tin of paint to the customer services desk .as I got to the desk within two or three steps another lady was waiting to be served as well . The cashier a woman with dark hair tied up , see me then turned her back to carry on talking to a member of staff . After a few minutes she turned to the till ,which I then said ‘excuse me , I just want to return this time of paint ‘ She then asked me to go behind the lady at the other end ,which I then relied‘I was here first ‘ She then said that I had asked the lady to come to my till . This was the customer service desk and I was there first . The lady said it’s fine and I said I was in a hurry , in which the cashier then said ‘don’t talk to me like that ‘ 😡 What had I said ????? I was there first ,and I was not going to stand behind the woman that fit to the desk after me . I was disgusted how the cashier spoke to me The other lady said twice ,it’s fine The cashier should have a good telling to speak to customers in the way she did So that was the imperial park Bristol around 3 in the afternoon I hope you do something an her disgusting behaviour

No social distancing , some members of the public going round with masks on their chin ,obviously took them off when they got in the store , very rude ,unhelpful and slow staff at the tills and in the store

Ordered a water butt ,paid extra for quick delivery. I took a day off work bit it never arrived so phoned customer services the next day they said it had been cancelled I hadn't cancelled it and he couldn't tell me why but they had taken my money. When I asked to speak to a manager he told me that managers do not speak to customers!! Then told someone would call me back,no one did. I had to chase my refund for a month before it was returned and still not given the reason why it was cancelled. Customer service is not existent. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS RUBBISH COMPANY.

Not for the first time the price advertised on the shelf wasn’t what was at the too. This is the 3rd time in 4 months and never get any joy WHY do I keep going back. Today got paint, cards and few other bits- I put 2 straight batten ceiling roses going receipt and stated 1-49 the price shown on the shelves stated £1 when I challenged the price difference the duty manager said night shelf stackers must have put wrong price and I said what are you going to do NOTHING if you want them you’ll have to pay the £1-49 got refund and I KNOW I will never step in GOSPORT store ever again 👎👎👎

Went to The Range this morning. On the art shelf noted a pack of six Derwent Soft Pencils on a metal hanging rack, priced at £3.99. I took a pack to the till where I was told the price was £7.99. I queried the price and took a female assistant that I took to be a manager, and showed her the display all clearly marked at £3.99. “ Oh well “ she said “ staff have been moving things about and haven’t bothered to change the price ticket “. She then went on to say that I should have read the microscopic print on the bottom of the price label that apparently mentioned another item. There was no other price displayed for the item that I wanted. I reminded her that I had every right to purchase the product at the price shown, however she was adamant that I had made the mistake and I would be charged the till price not the price displayed on the shelf. I note from other review sites, I am not the first to have this problem at this store. So the choice are, either the staff are totally incompetent and unable to correctly price their stock, or, this is deliberate deception on the part of the store. I tend to believe the latter. I wonder how many people having taken the item to the till, just pay the higher price, after all they must want to buy the product and probably don’t want the conflict. I on the other hand won’t be conned and didn’t complete the purchase, neither will I be going to shop there again and will be making these views known via social media.

First of all forget the 1 Star. Do not buy a gift card they steal your money if you don't use it by a certain date. Also customer service is probably the worst you could imagine. Don't take my word for it check out the other reviews.

I visited The Range in Edge Lane and was appalled by the total disregard from the staff on not wearing their face masks in the proper manner. All but two members of staff either had it hanging of one ear or under their nose. Where are the managers and why aren’t they ensuring your staff are following the guidelines and keeping people safe. No wonder they are talking about another National lock down again with people like them. Shame on you all. I will never visit that shop again

Ordered a blind and paid for the fast delivery. When it arrived item was bent and crushed and totally unusable. I then spent an age trying to phone the customer care line but could not get any answer. Probably just as well as the in-store service I have received in the past has been far from good service by persons who require a personality transplant. I can't get to the local store due to lock down and no one wants to speak to me on the phone. If I could give this firm a zero rating I would. It's a shame so many good small firms are disappearing due to covid, this one could do with going.

I visited my local store yesterday to return a faulty photo frame with the receipt. It was purchased five weeks ago. I was told that as it had passed the 30 day return policy that I would only be entitled to an exchange. I explained its faulty not that I have changed my mind so therefor I am entitled to a refund. The store manager was called and basically said that he believed I have broken it. The item was £3.50 for goodness sake! I mean to be accused of breaking an item that there is no way he could prove is disgusting. I have never been treated with such disrespect my whole life! It has not become a principal thing. I contacting head office to explain what has happened and I was basically told whatever the store manager says goes. I mean have they read the consumer rights act?! Was then told my best bet was to take to a different store. Ok I will drive all around Bristol spending more in fuel than the item actually cost. Disgusting behaviour and even more shocking head office!

I worked for this company before it was the range (cds) and it was a great team. I returned after many years and was shocked. Poor management, poor training and support, poor pay. Admin manager is shocking and didn't support any member of the team. As a support group its not nice the manager brings personal life in to work.

I ordered a wardrobe and took a day off work unpaid to take delivery. On the morning of delivery I received a text saying it was not being delivered because it was damaged. After numerous rude phone calls and each time being on hold 20 minutes I got told that I couldn't have a refund until it was authorised by a manager. So no wardrobe and no money to get another one from somewhere else. Never again will I order online from The Range.
