Ordered 2 x candlesticks and some Xmas baubles online, paid for next day delivery. Received one broken candlestick and one broken bauble, submitted online form with photos attached. Whilst I was waiting for them to reply I was worried the candlesticks would be out of stock so repurchased one and again paid for next day delivery. The next day I received somebody else’s order. Decided to phone customer services as still had no reply to my complaints form, waited for around 35mins for them to answer the phone, lady I spoke to said she would resend order and investigate my original complaint. Next day arrives and guess what, candlestick is broken again, so I submitted another online form along with photographs. Their packaging of fragile items is terrible. So now I’ve paid for 2 candlesticks which I haven’t got as well as a bauble. I’ve had no reply to any of my online complaints. They owe me around £28. Terrible service from such a big company.

Tried phoning .took over an hour to get an answer ..never getting any response to my compliant .(damaged foot on swivel chair when it was delivered) The website for customer support fails when I try to send in my complaint after being told I must attach pictures ...a very poor experience so far ..customer support hopeless. ...on the two attempts I tried to phone them the queue wait was about 1/2 hr and then line went dead. ...2nd attempt I was waiting 1/2 hr or more only to be told I must send pictures on line ....tried this and I neither get a response or a call back so have no clue if the request is being dealt with .7 days on after all my previous efforts .I did manage to send a short request today simply asking for the customer support dept to contact me (I used the range on line portal )and received an automated reply ...I don't hold out much hope after reading reviews about the range !!

Shocking customer service!! Bought 4 rolls of wallpaper from this company and paid £150 for someone to put this up for me. The colour was the complete opposite to the description of Grey and ended up as pink. Emailed all evidence to the company of batch number, receipt and photos of the wallpaper up and they are still refusing to issue a credit note or refund. Not even an apology from the company!

I wouldn't give this store 1 star if allowed. I ordered online and although they said my order was despatched, it still hasn't been received a month on. I have chased this by submitting an online enquiry 4 times!!! Nobody will confirm where my order is or when I will receive a refund. The phone number is impossible to get through on. There is no customer service, absolutely disgusted that they can do this to you. It's not safe to buy online from here.

If only I could leave a review LESS than 1 star! I have experienced the worst EVER customer service in my life! Ordered 2 metal & glass lanterns for my wedding. When they arrived, there was barely any packaging to protect them. I could hear, before I even opened the packaging that they were damaged! Literally every part of both of the lanterns was broken, glass smashed, doors hanging off, completely wrecked! So I tried to contact customer services to arrange a return and refund. Absolutely impossible! Tried calling numerous times, no one answers the phone EVER! Tried using the contact form on the website, but no one actually responds! So I tried on their facebook page. Managed to get a small response, but only asking me for photos of the damage (of which I sent immediately, as I already had taken photos), but despite my message being sent within 1 minute of theirs, it took them 2 days to respond. They wanted MORE PHOTOS!! So I sent more, but I am still awaiting a response! I received these lanterns 2 weeks and 4 days ago, and even though I was on the phone to them within 5 minutes of receiving my order, I have still yet to arrange and return and refund! I would strongly recommend NOT using The Range EVER! Most useless company I have ever come across.

Terrible customer service. Half my order missing. 1st call wait time for customer service 50 minutes, 2nd call hold time 45 mins and 3rd time 1 hour. Customer service team very rude and not helpful lady just hung up on me called Zenna who clearly could not deal with the call and could not be bothered, she basically called me a liar that there was no evidence I hadn't received the order, I forwarded her the confirmation from DPD that they had raised an investigation for the parcel as they could not locate it which she confirmed she received. Still refused to replace the order then hung up on me. Disgusting.

Terrible I ordered a cupboard online, it was delivered quickly but when opened all the fixtures to put the cupboard together were missing. I called and on the first occasion waited 25 mins to get through, the second time I called it took 40 mins. I finally got to speak with someone who promised I would have the fixings by the end of the week, 9 days later....nothing! The cupboard is still lying dismantled on my daughters floor. Overall terrible service, I wouldn’t recommend. Buy from somewhere else as the back up service and follow up to customer complaints is slow if even actioned at all. Needless to say that if I make a third call and finally get through I will be asking to send back for a full refund. Won’t purchase furniture from here again

Wouldn't even give this a one star if I didn't have to. Absolute joke of a company trading standards should be involved. Been trying to get hold of someone at customer services for days, even spending up to 50 minutes on the phone. One word of advice DO NOT ORDER ONLINE. Customer service is none existent. You have to get hold of someone at Customer Services to get a return authorised, what a joke - no-one answers the phone, so how can it be authorised ?? Terrible do not use.

I put a complaint on here about 3 weeks ago, we are still waiting replacements for damaged top of chest of drawers and both sides of wardrobe that was also damaged when opening (not caused by the delivery co, packaged damaged by The Range). We have spent the last hour listening to music, no one answers the phone or emails. This is a disgusting company, do not purchase anything that has to be delivered. Goods and customer service are terrible. Trading standards should close this company down. Appalling service.

You won't get anywhere trying to call customer services....and they put the phone down on you...DO NOT BUY ONLINE....they send damaged goods and then ignore you

Never answer phone at customer services been trying for 4 days. They dont reply to emails. I've had half my order delivered. Will never use online the range again. Store at barnsley are trying to help but the online custom isn't part of them. Head office has a receptionist who just puts phone down. Shocking service

Ordered ten garlands. Recieved bent and 5 had a quarter of the garland missing. Also paid for next day delivery which didnt turn up when it was stated.

Unfortunately, I had an awful experience. I bought 2 big couch cushions on 10/11/2019 for my son's couch. Because they didn't match with the color I returned them on 15/11 to the store. All the labels were in place and I had kept them in the range big bag, every day. The supervisor at the store refused to accept the return with the excuse that they smell food.!!! This excuse was very subjective, I and my husband didn't smell anything. I asked the manager of the store to smell them but she refused. I said to request a third person, a customer to smell them and then decide, they refused again. I don't know why they smell food, maybe she has eaten food before, or the litter smell but definitely not the cushions. It was a very bad experience because the reason they use to refuse the refund was unjustified and was very subjective. Since I returned the cushions in the original package I couldn't see any reason for refusing the return. Terrible experience, I won't recommend again this store!!

I purchased a solar string lighting set in the summer 2019 after 6 weeks they stopped working. On inspection a wire inside had come loose. Although this is obviously a Range product they will not replace or refund my money as I did not sadly keep the receipt and as paid cash cannot prove purchase!! NEVER BUYING A THE RANGE PRODUCT AGAIN.!!!! Poor show. Waste of £11.99

In brief: Placed an order for furniture. Received message for delivery time slot. Took time off for delivery. Delivery did not arrive. Not contact from the range or courier company. After a week was told that furniture was damaged. Asked for when a replacement could be sent. Two days later told no replacement and will be issued refund. Delivery charge not refunded even though no delivery was made! Terrible service and almost non existent communication.

The Range at Darlington Retail Park.So disrespectful today, they had 2 mins silence at 11am for rememberence day with there loud music playing during silence in shop. Couldn’t they have turned the music off.

Very disappointed with this company who claims next day delivery! I paid the full postage price which was twice the amount of the item I bought from Range. I ordered it 4 days ago and it still hasn't arrived. Apparently it is arriving today! I have contacted The Range to find out what happened. I wont be using this company again or recommend them.

Avoid this sham company. Will never enter this store again let alone buy from it again. Spent a thousand pound on some sofas, told would be delivered within 10 days and paid my £20 for the privilege. Day before delivery get rid of the old sofas and spend night watching tv sitting on the floor. Delivery day go to track my delivery and find order cancelled as damaged. Spend 20 minuets trying to speak to customer services to find out what is happing with my order only to be told it is cancelled because it was damaged. I know the order was cancelled because of damage it said so on the track my delivery site and hence the call. Again, I said what is happening with my order, 5 times I asked and 5 times I was told the same answer it was cancelled due to damage. I ask to speak to a manager or someone that could tell me what was happening with my order and told no manager would speak to me. Told them to cancel the order and refund my money. When I asked how long before the money would be refunded into my account was told 2 weeks as they had to wait for the sofas to be returned to them and only then would they refund my money. The customer service is non-existent, just a robot chanting the same mantra. Now cost me a day of work and no furniture until I get a refund and buy elsewhere. Only wish I could return the garden furniture I spent thousands on this year. Will never enter this store again let alone buy from it again.

I love visiting The Range. An excellent choice of Christmas and craft items. I've also bought about four pieces of their framed art work for my kitchen. If I won the lottery I would spend a fortune in that place!
