The most DISAPPOINTING online shopping service . AVOID !!! Ordered 3 weeks ago 30 October online nothing arrived 30th . was told 3/4 working days . Payed EXTRA delivery charge ! Customer service team not helpful at all !! Spoke to Antonia and Demetrou . Didn’t have any answer to actual cause of delay . I have been calling Customer service for past 2 weeks chasing order .no update from the Range team . When asked for manager to call back - said no manager . Need to write and post a letter ! Who does that in this day and age . Pathetic overall ! When asked for complaints email - NO Email again. Again then when I asked to change order from Delivery to Collection - I will make effort and collect myself . Guess what ?? NO cannot be done either … Definitely NEVER ordering from again ! Customer Service team has no clue how to deal with customer complaints . Have no answers for delay ! No email even sent out to inform about anything . Managers need to step in and provide good customer service . Disappointed and appaling service overall .

When the fragile parcel arrived the outer packaging was stinking, returned the item to store as it was damaged, still waiting on a REFUND, and the lack of customer service is disgusting, I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THE RANGE AGAIN AND I WOULD ADVISE ANYBODY NOT TO ORDER FROM THE RANGE EITHER

Awful and very very stressful. Sent me a broken item. The item arrived late despite me paying extra for delivery and was broken. The team did not reply to emails, hung up and were extremely rude. Personally I will never use them again- awful!

I ordered my items on the 29th October nearly 2 weeks ago, told 3 -5 days for a delivery. I then get an email on the 3rd November saying due to demand there will be a delay. They take your money and then change the delivery window due to demand. My understanding is when something is in demand you should have informed the customer before placing an order, obviously you don't do that as customers will go elsewhere. I emailed The Range twice this week to see what is happening and asking when my items will be delivered and if not asap then please refund my money. They have not even replied to my emails. Worst customer communication I have come across and I would never entertain this place again.I work in the public sector and this would not be tolerated, you should have response times to answer an inquiry. I can understand if there s an issue with a courier service, I can understand if there is a manufactures issue. What I cannot understand is the rudeness in not having the decency to reply, I am not asking you to write me a letter? Looking to take this complaint further now as I just want my money back now. Where else can you do that as a private business, take a customers money and mug them off by not keeping them up to date with what is happening or even responding to there questions. Kindly post your response for other customers to see as well as this is what you should do on a review site.

Charged for delivery for smallish items adding to over £100 to find that three weeks later items still not here. They sent a standard email a week ago after spending half an hour on the phone to be told.......there's delays. Avoid The Range!

Altrincham branch. Food review. Latte good. Tomato soup - the worst I've ever tasted. It was like a tin of chopped tomatoes with herbs. Even my husband who can eat anything tried it and couldn't eat it.

Terrible customer service No response via email or Twitter Contacted by phone to cancel order as I can’t wait for the delayed delivery (for which I have received no communication), was put through to four different departments to achieve this basic task, with long waiting times between each. Had to give up while waiting to the ‘retention’ department who are apparently the only ones who can cancel an order. Have a life to live though so could not hold on after half an hour of waiting (after already being on hold to other departments for the same amount of time) Do not order from the range!!

Will never buy anything from The Range online again. Worst customer service I have ever experienced . First I received wrong item and days later they send item which I ordered or more specific half of the item ( half of parts was missing) It took almost 2 months to get refund.

ordered 20 October repeatedly today it's on it easy . Left a review on trust pilot and the range reply was it's out for delivery today the 8November . waited in but yes you guessed it nothing arrived . I will never shop at the Range again now .

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THE RANGE Back in June 21 I ordered some bedroom furniture (Lexington range) which, stated on The Range website, would be delivered early September. I was happy at that time about the wait as it gave me time to get the bedroom decorated. About a month before the delivery date I received an email saying that the delivery date had been put back to mid October. I wasn’t happy about it but, thought if I cancelled the order I would be straight back to the beginning so, decided to wait. By this time I had emptied the old wardrobe and disposed of it to make sure it wasn’t in the way. All the contents are all over my spare bedroom which, means it can’t be used. Two weeks before the second delivery date I received an email saying that the delivery date had been put back AGAIN!! It was going to be delivered early November. As it was only approx 4 weeks longer than the October date, again I didn’t want to cancel. On 21st October I received yet another email saying that delivery would be December, just before Christmas. That will make it six months from ordering if, I get it then. Not once, on any of the emails have I been told why the furniture has been delayed & my patience is now long gone. The Range has taken the money & literally failed to deliver!! I bought two bedroom furniture sets last year & it was a lovely experience. It was delivered on time, good quality & I have absolutely no complaints hence, why I ordered again but, no such luck the second time round!!! To add insult to injury, when I checked on 21st October it stated on their website a delivery date early November for the exact product I have now been waiting four months for! I assure you that had I not liked the furniture so much, I would have cancelled at the first delivery date change. I emailed customer services through their website on 22nd October with no response. I chased them again on 29th October & still have had no response. I wouldn’t buy from them again their customer service is next to non existent and the only reason I’ve given 1* is because you can’t review without one!! I ABSOLUTELY WOULD RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THE RANGE!!

Placed an order for next day delivery.....4 days later it arrived. Contacted customer services, no apology...as always poor customer service. Not opened the items yet, but if they are faulty or not as expected i will take back to my store which is 5 minute drive from my home. Had the Range not been able to fulfil their delivery terms, the should let customers know and not charge £5.95.

We have visited the Range in Sandgate near Folkestone on a number of occasions recently. ON the last visit the store was a mess. It has never been the tidiest store we have been in but this time it was dreadful. We have also found on every visit that their pricing of items is very bad. So many time there have been things we would have considered buying had they been priced. We will not be going back until we think they have improved. B&M and Home Bargains will be our port of call.

Do not order large pieces of furniture from this store. The delivery driver didn’t care smashed it out of van onto road boxes all broken glass in side smashed and doors of wardrobe chipped. Spoke to 12 didn’t members of staff no one would do anything as we had to get rid of it. Who wants broken glass and damaged wood all over the house or driveway, especially when you run a business with small children asked for it to be picked up but no one ever came, more phone calls they blamed it on Covid and shortage of drivers could have taken weeks. So our fault REALLY But they take your money.

Placed an order on line for hooks which they said were in stock and would be with me within 3-4 working days. They did not arrive and I received their "unprecedented demand" email. I asked it the hooks were in stock or not and received a reply telling me to check with my local store. I did this and the helpful lady checked stock at local and nearby stores. There were none in stock. Then she told me there were none in stock anywhere in the country due to a supplier issue. I tried to cancel my order on line but this is not possible so I then had to phone and wait ages for a response. Eventually, with difficulty, managed to cancel my order and I have been promised a refund back onto my credit card which I should get back in 5 working days. Why are these people selling items they do not have in stock? Great for their cash flow...

Ordered items for delivery, wish I had read all the other reviews in hindsight, but the original delivery date was missed and I received an email saying it would be sent "soon". No further update. I emailed and received no reply despite waiting 4 days, I called and waited over 45 minutes to get through, only to be immediately put back on hold for another 30 minutes, whereafter I gave up. I tried repeatedly to call and found the same issue. I called Head Office and asked to make a complaint and they put me through to the same lengthy queue. When I finally managed to speak with someone, he advised he could neither accept my complaint nor check delivery...he could only cancel my order!!! Infuriated and now still without my items...I have cancelled my order. I was not given access to make a complaint and am contacting trading standards now as I can see from other reviews that this is fairly commonplace for this company. Absolutely disgusted - shockingly bad customer service. Please don't bother ordering online from them unless you want to waste a whole heap of time trying to get your item or your money back!!

Customer service is shocking. If you buy anything online you'd better hope it's not damaged because it's impossible to get a return or a replacement item. Takes them a week to email you back and if you try and ring expect to be in hold for an hour. Useless. Very poor service.

we picked up 2 christmas ornaments at the range paisley priced £7.99 each when we got to the cash desk we got charged £15.99 each. when we said the price to the assistant she called on someone to price them they shouted the price at £7.99. we asked to speak to management who appeared and said we have to pay £15.99.im sure consumer rights would say it has to be sold at the price on the shelf we have spent a lot over last few years in the range but left feeling angry especially the arrogant attitude from the supervisor we wont be using the store again.
