I had booked a package for two to Dubai with Thomas cook. Excluding tickets charges but included visa expenses. I paid 1.02L rupees for the total package. I felt Thomas cook is costly but it would delivery great services. However, I am disappointed with Thomas cook services. Except for the pick up and drop rest all activities planned by Thomas cook was an utter flop. I would definitely not recommend Thomas cook to anyone, it’s just overrated. I got the same package with other travels for 60k which delivered the same services. I just think it was my worst travel ever. Visa updates were not provided on time and I didn’t have any clue on my visa until the previous day of my departure. I will surely not book anything from Thomas cook now and will not recommend to anyone else. Worst experience ever!!! Disappointing!!

Thomas Cook India operates unfair trade practice. Today morning I checked up the currency rate of UAE Dirham and I went to their office at Connaught Place. To my horror they charged me over 10% higher than that quoted online in their website. Their business is opaque to say the least.

Thomas Cook Travel Agency Adopting unfair Trade Practice:- On 22/06/24 through online mode i booked Europe tour to travel from Mumbai on 1st September 2024, 15 days tour. They finalized tour amount that i have paid as and then they requested. After settling final amount. In the last week of departure stage, they behave differently and do extorsion, asking excess amount to release tour voucher, Flight Tickets & Hotel details, insurance. They totally violated all the norms, especially cheating Senior citizen who are traveling alone. They say its twin sharing accommodation hence for single they collected huge amount, and giving single room in foreign countries. Sales personal is useless he assures and other executives don't respect what was promised. Very poor response no coordination among staff, finally they give disappointing customer. I am planning to issue legal notices to retrieve my excess collected money. I want to penalize them for the mental agony they created before releasing my tour vouchers.

I would give zero stars if possible Flights changed beyond what was originally on the site (lost a day of holiday) Had to deal directly with who Thomas cook booked the flights with. Ended up asking them to cancel my holiday as couldn’t find a decent alternative .They have sent the refund to Thomas cook who haven’t passed it to me- in nearly £400 down

I have been stuck in bad weather in Austria since yesterday, I had to arrange for my travel back to Vienna from St Valentina all by myself at the expense of 100+ euros on my own without any assistance from their side, taking the help of local residents. They even could not offer me any help for my transit to Budapest today and I had to book a bus on Flixbus on my own which is available on internet, which they could have done that for me as well ( and they should have, otherwise why I am choosing Thomas Cook as a mediator!!). Now they have said that they cannot arrange a pick up for me from Budapest to the hotel as well even though it is a monday! And they have a prior intimation since yesterday! They ask me blatantly to take a local cab! Already things were messed up during my stay in Salzburg also where there was a trouble with my pick up from Salzburg station as well, where my train was scheduled to reach at 2 pm but the pick up taxi was booked at 2 am! I had to wait for 1.5 hrs in the station for a cab to be rearranged in this cold and windy weather! Even the emergency contact number they have provided for assistance is always unavailable. Miserable services and complete abandonment in crisis situation for a female solo traveller. I have travelled with Thomas Cook earlier twice to foreign countries but this time every bit of experience was terrible. Definitely not recommended! Services have degraded completely. Five days before my holidays was meant to start i was informed that my resort was changed due to mentaneinced being carried out in the swiming pool."Which i dont beleive was true ".As when i contacted the resort directly they informed me that there were no such work being carryed out .When i informed you with the replay from the resort i was given a different reason .I did't have eny other opptions but to accept your offer as it was to late to book enything in such a short notice .I did make you awere of my concerns with the new resort before accepting the transfer about tipping culture to get basic service "it was mentions in most reviews online "and i foud it was true as to be look after you have to pay extra money to get services which is not point to pay all inclusive .I was promissed room upgradet and complimentary drink .in reality i was given dirty room which was not clean and the beding was not changed from previews .The bedding and the pillows had sweat marks and dirty mark .When we informed the reception they come and replace the bedding and informed us due to them being busy didn't have time to change them .was the desani water the complementary drink??????. As for my second concern about activities for my little there were nothing for him to do no aqua park for him or other activities to do.On top of it was clearly a virus or food poissoning going round in the hotel .Which i and my oldest son become very sick which lasted one week which started on the forth day of the holiday and lasted until one week to fully recover .

Thomas cook is very fraud and worst company,don’t book any tour with this company because they are cheaters they don’t pick your phone and don’t reply your emails.I had very bad experience with my Greece gateway pkg tour one month ago . They cancelled one of my tour for which I paid 225 euros = 22000 inr, and as of now I gave them my 2 account details by which I had transferred them money for the tour and now it is more than one month they are not refunding my own money and also not replying my emails. Now I am going to take strong action against them. Prachi Patel and Madhukar Mishra are worst people in this world, they are doing fraud and not refunding the hard earned money of senior citizen people. Shame on you people.

I bought a pair of Bullseye Azalea jeans. L💙V them, packaging, what a 10*, still in the plastic sleeve, tags, invoice, as I normally receive jeans straight in the post bag from other companies, customer service when questioning Bullseye site to receipt of Thomas Cook was excellent, didn't know Thomas Cook owned the brands. Overall all fantastic service

The customer service does NOT exist once they receive your money. I would not recommend for my worst enemy to consider booking with them. I advised the company of security concerns which were reported along with vegging staff members who became aggressive and illness/vomiting which my child incurred whilst on holiday. In addition I reported that the VIP taxi driver arranged by Thomas cook had failed to collect us which resulted in us having to arrange an alternative taxi to prevent us from missing our flight which was a huge £200. I contacted their emergency number they request you to do so however nobody answered..... I made contact via WhatsApp to TC who requested for us to book a taxi and provide the receipts and a refund would be expected within 10 days. I returned back from my vacation and have communicated with TC who offer different information and dates for my full reimbursement. Initially they attempted to give me the amount of the original cost for the pre booked taxi rather than the emergency taxi which was obviously more expensive. They are aware that we incurred expenses from making contact with them by telephone, using our data, taking a taxi to the cashpoint to withdraw the money from the cashpoint etc and have disregarded to provide us with any compensation or voucher for the financial loss not to mention the huge amount of stress that we endured. I have found that they have been horrible and I do not believe that they know what customer service is as I have not experienced a decent level from them considering the circumstances. I would urge anyone to think twice about booking with them and the taxi they provide as you may be left stranded like my family. Absolute daylight robbery from such a huge company

We had travelled to Italy through Thomas cook Mumbai Lower Parel branch. Till the initial payments they used to call us hourly once the payment was done manager and associates disappeared and started harassing . We had to go to the branch to settle as they threatened that they are booked fully . Our flight tickets were given few hours prior to our departure it was June 30 th departure. And our return tickets were unusually given a huge lay over at Delhi where else the other passengers travelling with us were given the earlier flights Manager Madhukar and associates Prachi Patel , Saif saw to it that we had a terrible experience

I booked a package and have had absolutely disgusting service from their customer advisor. My flights have been changed, which the company were aware of as TUI contacted them in April, however this was never conveyed to me - I never received any email or confirmation whatsoever that my flights had been changed, which their advisor did confirm. These flights are not suitable at all as we have young children and the timings are completely ridiculous and we are not getting what we booked or paid for at all, and not only that but the attitude of the advisor that I spoke to was disgusting - when explaining that the times weren’t suitable for us, their response was that it was only a few hours and didn’t make much difference - COMPLETELY unsympathetic with a not their problem attitude. The flights changed in APRIL, and they only emailed me now confirming because I got in touch with TUI and then them, so this is through no fault of my own whatsoever. If they had informed me at the time then I’m sure I would have been able to look for more suitable timings and change flights, however I cannot afford to pay the difference between flight dates to change to an earlier date and more suitable time, nor should I be expected to seeing as they are the ones that didn’t inform me of the change when they should have and I’ve done nothing wrong in this situation. I am extremely dissatisfied with the lack of understanding and assistance that I’ve had with this matter from this company and their staff specifically - this is supposed to be our honeymoon as we are getting married only a few days prior so really did not need this stress. And I have had no kind of resolution even though they are the ones at fault. Safe to say I will not be using Thomas Cook again and my reviews will reflect this. Extremely disappointed and upset and would like some kind of resolution for this.

Thomas Cook India is one of the worst service providers. It is not at all customer-friendly. Once money is paid they are least bothered about you. Don't ever get caught in their net

One star only because there is no option to rate them less than that. Extremely unprofessional and pathetic behavior and services by Thomas Cook staff. I opted their services for Forex (Card and Cash). The card never worked during my trip. I had to arrange another card in a foreign land and had to keep following up with them over emails with barely any response from them. It's been two months since I have been following up with them to convert the forex into INR and they have not even shown basic courtesy to respond to my emails. Would never recommend them for any services to anybody.

Not the company it was. Appalling customer service. Can't ever get thru on the phone and a WhatsApp chat designed not to help you. Only after your money and not interested if you need to change details. Won't be using them again now after years of loyalty.

We booked holidays in advance but 3 days before our departure I've received an email informing me me that the hotel we chose is no longer available and there is an alternative hotel available. I called Thomas Cook over and over again but I was unable to get through. Then I've received a call from TC saying that because I didn't get in touch with them that second hotel is no longer available either! I was put on the spot and asked to choose from 2 more hotels straight away or get a full refund. It was extremely hard to decide without any time to look at the hotels etc. At the end we end up in "4*" hotel. It might have been 4* 30 years ago.... There were lots of things very wrong there starting with non existent air conditioning (which in 35 degrees is not ideal) not working lifts and being on the 8th floor a bit difficult... the only thing which saved it all was the the beautiful view from the balcony and clean beach and sea. Also the transfer from the airport to the hotel was messed up. Believe me, until we were safely checked in we were afraid of not having a place to stay at all. I think this is the last time we booked holidays with Thomas Cook. It's a shame as we did book with them before and the experience was much better.

I wanted to travel with my family and looking for a good experience so thought to use a giant company service. I heard lots of advertisement from SOTC and thought my tripe will be amazing. I raised an enquiry and got a call from their sales representative. They provided me a great deal by providing detail quotation. My main concern was type of hotels so I emphasis them to provide hotel names where we will be accommodate. They provided me detailed quotation by specifying hotel names. I was satisfied and made booking. When our trip begins and reach hotel, I got shocked. All the hotels have been changed to below categories. I contacted to person who provided me quotation but they said you need to email company regarding this. I emailed them but got no response. You can never reach to authorised person to sort your query. They assigned a tour manager but he did not have any rights to change hotel. Since they have already taken full amount from beginning, I have to stay in low category hotels. It was really pathetic and I never expected such type of service from such a giant company. So be very careful with their service. You will never be able to reach authorised person via phone but only email and you will have to take multiple follow ups to get their response. Very dissatisfied with this company and their service.
