Trip is a scam website! Do not use this platform EVER! There are better and cheaper sites to use. They are a fraudulent firm with improper and unethical business terms.

There trip to UK was horrible experience kids were provided horrible food and mode off transport was really unprofessional so players been offered fake contracts

I'm having the worst experience ever with a trip. They refuse to change the flight even tho it is for a medical emergency, and I have already contacted KLM and they said that they only need the agency to request the change on my behalf, and they will provide a voucher.... but Trip.com refuses to do it. If I try to change the flights, they charge me the same price as new tickets.. when at KLM the cost is 200 dollars to change them. Horrible experience

Really such useless booking website/ cheaters / they will put you on trap . Really such useless booking website . They all are cheaters . No logic . Customer care very poor . Attending customer complaints took day and days . Totally don’t relay on this web and I have very bad words to them

Paid for airport lounge access on what happened to be the 2nd day of the school holidays. Apparently, if you book lounge access via Trip.com? You are really buying standby access, meaning the lounge lets you in ONLY if they are not fully booked. If that had been made clear to me, I would have just booked it directly at the airport site.

Due to Microsoft outage, many flights were cancelled. I had a hotel booked through trip.com, since they were only a 3rd party, I contacted Hilton directly. Hilton was willing to offer alternative options, but due to trip.com providing false information, email and phone number, Hilton was unable to assist further. Contacting trip.com has been useless, they refuse to update my contact so I can work directly with Hilton, and are unwilling to provide any assistance other than keep their minimal fee for my booking. The SOL approach is enough to say book directly with hotels

I want to share my experience with Trip.com regarding their customer service. I strongly advise against using Trip.com solely to save a few bucks. Here's why: 1. It's extremely challenging to get in touch with their customer service. 2. The staff is unhelpful. 3. They do not resolve customer issues. 4. Emails go unanswered. 5. If you need assistance, they demand payment. 6. Every query is met with a response citing "airlines policy." Using Trip.com results in a waste of money, time, and even impacts your well-being

I requested Trip.com to change my flights. I was told it would take 6 hours but it’s been 4 days now, and nothing has been done about it. Whenever I call them, I’m being told the same thing, they are waiting for the airline to confirm the flights and fees, even though I was able to speak to the airline representative and she confirmed that if I purchased the ticket with them the changes would have made immediately. There shouldn’t be reason for a 4 day delay. IT MAY BE CHEAPER TO GO WITH THIS COMPANY BUT DONT. They are truly duplicitous and I will never use them again. They are the worst.

I used Trip.com to book a flight at short notice. Regret it. I have been overseas for over a month. Outraged to see I have charged c. £60 for “membership” whilst I am still away. Feels like a scam. AVOID

I have had a very disappointing experience with the services provided by Trip.com. The customer service is of very poor quality, they do not pay attention to customers' needs, and they are only interested in asking for more money rather than helping with any changes to the trip. I would strongly advise against using Trip.com as it has been a complete waste of both money and time.

I canceled my booking before tickets were issued but I was charged about $288. I was told by customer care representative to cancel the booking & I will get a full refund but they charged me. I canceled my booking at first then again it prompted me to cancel & that’s were they charged me about $288. No representatives were ready to help me get back my refund.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!!! They only have 1 star because 0 isn’t an option. Their customer service is in India and they do all they can to scam their customers. We purchased a flight and bags ($81/bag) and come to find out that $81 was for one single leg of our trip! (1 out of 4 legs). This was not clear during booking. And when we called to cancel, they would not allow us to. And then after fighting, they would cancel the flights but not the bags. (Which was only good for up to 39lbs). We have to call our bank to stop the charge (which was only 3 hours ago) and claim it fraudulent because this company is a huge SCAM.

Trip.com is nothing but a lying cheating scamming company. They insisted that I purchase checked baggage after purchasing 2 flights in Europe . Not only did they keep my $200 euros for themselves instead of giving the money to the airlines … but the airlines offered me FREE checked baggage . There was no charge ???? Of course since Trip.com had scammed me out of this money they offered no refunds to me ??? Avoid this fly by nite cheating fraudulent company like the plague . Please pass this along and warn others about them

Worst company to deal with. They sent me and email that my payment has been declined. Paid with my debit card and charged my credit card as well. Now they refuse to give me a refund even tho I contacted them within two minutes. Don’t use!

Absolute Nightmare – Stay Away from Trip.com!** I booked six tickets through Trip.com and was issued six tickets. However, a few days later, they cancelled four out of the six tickets after charging me for the full amount, almost $3000. Despite their assurances over an entire month that they would rectify the mistake and issue the missing tickets, nothing was resolved. This company is a SCAM of the highest order. They took my money and failed to provide the service promised. Their customer service is utterly useless, filled with empty promises and no action. Each interaction was a frustrating exercise in futility, with representatives who either couldn't or wouldn't help. It felt like they were just stringing me along, hoping I would give up. Not only did they fail to fix their mistake, but their complete lack of professionalism and accountability is appalling. The sheer incompetence and disregard for their customers is beyond belief. I've wasted countless hours trying to get this sorted, only to be met with lies and excuses. STAY AWAY FROM THEM, AVOID USING TRIP.COM! This has been the most stressful, infuriating, and disappointing experience I have ever had with any company. If you value your time, money, and sanity, do not use Trip.com. They are deceitful, unreliable, and an absolute nightmare to deal with. This company should be shut down for their blatant disregard for customers.

I have bought a flight ticket through Trip.com and the flight got cancelled, after 8 hours of delay. Had one of the worst days of my life. People who bought the ticket off from the airline website were able to get a full refund, immediately, while I had to contact Trip.com and go through their processes. Not once I have imagined that they wouldn't refund it, because obviously everybody got their refunds. It turns out that Trip.com will not make the refund. This is obviously a scam and I will never, ever use Trip.com again. Please keep in mind that all of my friends who bought the same flight ticket through other channels were able to get their refunds right away, while I was being scammed by Trip.com. Never again.

Please avoid Trip.com at all cost! I booked flights along with travel insurance knowing that the flights were nonrefundable, which I am not even sure how that is a thing. The insurance was very misleading. I believed that the insurance would cover me should I need to cancel my flight. I received the policy after the insurance had been purchased and it was only then that I was able to see what was covered, which isn’t a lot. I did have to cancel my flight, I filed a claim with the insurance and my claim was denied because the insurance co claims my reason for cancellation does fit into the events covered. So now not only am I out the $ for my flight but also the $ for the insurance that I purchased for apparently no reason. I have contacted customer service on numerous occasions and they do not provide any support. This company does not have any integrity and I will not be using them in the future. I will be reviewing them on all platforms available to me to get the word out and save others from this unfortunate experience.

I booked a holiday trip for my husband birthday & my 60th birthday to India and Dubia flights were good with Emirates but when we got to Dubia there was No TRANSFERS transport which I already paid for 2 way got to hotel mix up with hotel room had to pay fir that night again until it got sorted. Oscar booked a hotel Rotana Hotel which had NO USE of the SPA ROOMS & also said it jumeirah hotel no mention of Rotana hotel the view outside of our bedroom was terrible I couldn't open any windows this was in April 2024 I got in touch with Oscar & explained what had happened he's not refunded my money for the room or the transfers not even a penny for all the upset ad inconvenience I am NOT HAPPY I WILL NEVER BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN IT NOT WHAT THEY SAY IS FAKE AD A SCAM COMPANY Now it's July Oscar said he would sorted not heard from him won't answer my calls.
