“Ordered a pair of toilets with concealed cisterns but decided on alternative option and to save them haulage agreed to exchange the cisterns only(as the toilets were exactly the same). They took 3 weeks to process refund and it was £88 short! So complaint started after an unhelpful online chat. Thieves!”
“Buyer beware, fitted a £40 toilet seat, then notice the lid had a chip I n it on the leading edge. Telephoned customer service, and was told as I had fitted the seat Victoria Plumb had no more responsibility. Now have a useless seat. Finally found the chipped piece in the packaging. Do not buy from Victoria Plumb use Amazon instead, at least they have a professional customer service, who I am sure would have replaced the£40 seat!!!”
“Please beware if you are buying items and not installing immediately.
We bought a shower, shower screen, toilet & sink with unit back in June. Due to delays in extension work, timing etc our plumber only got round to fitting this week to discover cistern had hairline crack!. We checked goods on arrival but with a major extension going on, dust & workmen afoot. We had little room for full scrutiny, far enough we thought given the fact not yet installed & still in package and their apparent great customer service they would be willing to assist our dilemma. Unfortunately that was not the case, after being given the runaround via their live chat and then on the phone, I have had to fork out for the cost of a new cistern. It’s not so much the fact I’ve had to pay twice but the poor customer service that has left such a bad taste in my mouth, enough for me to have to write a review ( my first ever!) so please future customers take my advice and check your orders very closely”
“DISGUSTING!!!
I ordered a bathroom suite. Pedal stool of sink was missing. I had wait almost a week until it was delivered, resulting in me having to pay plumber extra to come back and fit the sink. Toilet was faulty. Toilet seat was chipped. Sink tap faulty and uneven. Radiator/heated towel rail had chrome missing from each arm. It was expensive!!! I sent email to customer service. They requested photograghs, which I sent. I've been emailing them at least weekly but I am being totally ignored.
So would appreciate advice. I guess my last resort is citizens advice.
PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. VERY POOR SERVICE. VERY POOR QUALITY. Save yourself a lot of stress, time and money.”

“Terrible company! No customer service at all. Paid extra for delivery before 12 noon which didn’t happen and then they “raised an accounts query” to “see” if I could get a refund on the additional charge! 14 days on and NO confirmation.
Waiting for 2 refunds for one item that didn’t even get picked for delivery however told couldn’t get a refund even after cancelling the order less than 10 minutes after order.
Had to return an order and was charge £49.99 even though it cost £15 to deliver as a “two man return” even though my 10 year old could pick up the two boxes to get more money from you.
14 days on and now chasing for the refunds that sit with “accounts” so they can keep your money for longer.
Disgusting company... Do not use... avoid at all costs!”
“Poor experience. Purchased 2 x shower from this company at a reasonable price. Unfortunately both of them broke after 2 years. We needed 2 buy two small parts to get them both working again. We contacted Victoriaplum who they said that they do not sell parts for any of the items we have to purchase the whole2 units again. Not impressed with this and also the toilet seat broke and it is impossible to purchase a toilet an off the peg toilet as they have design such a toilet that you can only replace the seat through Victoria Plumb. On the face of it it seems cheap but it is false economy if you have to buy twice. I will never use this company again and cannot recommend them!”

Was assured the matter was being dealt with and would take up to 48 hours to investigate I’m now up to 144 hours and still no further forward. “Awful customer service. Went round and round for 4 months which delayed our building work. Items were out of stock for 4 months so kept delaying delivery time, And then they finally agreed to cancel and refund so we could re order from a Different company”
“Kind of my mistake, but something that nobody would notice: Recently, I have received a sink, I did a quick visual check, the box and sink looked OK, then I was waiting for a plumber to come along and install it and after 32 days, when the plumber arrived, tried to fit the sink in, he found it was broken almost in half. There was a crack that was not visible in a first go. After conversation with Victoria Plumbing support, instead of offering a fair-play solution, I got a discount of only 5%. I would accept 50%, but this is just a joke and I am going to spread this message everywhere I can, because I am not a satisfied customer, I just wasted £135 for nothing! It was broken maybe before it was packed or during the transport, but it is not my problem, I did treat the parcel very carefully, but the company was not or put their trust in an unreliable delivery company. It is always the same, you save £20 against local market, but then lost £135. Seriously, when I checked local stores I realized I will pay less for a better quality sink, if you wanna save some money and troubles stay away from this kind of companies.”
“I originally placed an order for spart parts from my original bathroom refurb in 2010. I received a new vanity basin and cabinet set, complete with close coupled WC and a new shower enclosure and try with all the fittings. PERFECT! When requesting replacement parts.... this is another episode. I ordered 2no Magnetic buffer strips for the enclosure doors, 2no door wheel sets for top and bottom of doors (4no top and 4no bottom) ... Paid, delivery arrived....... WOW!!!! One magnetic "chamfered" buffer strip not 2. 1no Wheel for top and 1 no wheel for bottom... .Contacted them, requesting the remainder of the delivery and was told I would need to pay for more.... So told them in no uncertain terms I will not as awaiting the rest of the order - there mistake not mine! So they sent them after being told that as they are ordered in from manufacturer, when they turn up its a general free for all.... Worrying when they are ordered in for a specific order, but nonetheless, their problem... Now its my problem as after waiting since april 2019, to recieve the last of my order on 9.8.19, which is still incorrect to chat online to be given a full refund and told to source to items locally as they do not stock my parts as the item was from 2010. After explaining I HAVE received parts that fit I just want the right one that does not pull off my doors when opening, but no ..... Full refund and source them locally. I feel a fob off has been given rather than send the part I need which I have received one of them but seems to much like hard work.
I will NEVER recommend Victoria Plumb again. I would always send people to Victorian Plumbing who give lifetime guarantee on their products (not parts).”

“Never, never trust this company when buying online!!! I did extensive research to source a suitable electric shower and spent a prolonged period on Vitoria plum's website checking a particular product priced at £229. When I returned to their website the following day it had increased by £50! (All other merchants still had it priced at £229). Stangely a window poped up 'welcombe back - can I help you'. After several feeble replies to my questioning the price increase the 'online assistance' was signed off. Then an option remained to click thumb's up or down and then to enter a review. I entered thumb's down. When I got party though entering a similar review to this my internet connection shut down??? Clearly Victoria plum's customer website viewing is fraudulently monitored, rigged and controlled. Avoid this company like the plague!!!”
“I have recently completed my shower room and have installed a toilet and cistern from VP.
The toilet appears to have a design fault whereby the water does not flush right to the front of the pan due to the holes where the water flushes in are too big.
2 plumbers have now verified this after checking all the workings of the cistern etc.
I have now had 2 replacements turn up that have been completely cracked and in 3 pieces due to the lack of secure packaging and both packages have had the same packaging.
I am now awaiting a third delivery next week (have not been offered any kind of express delivery) and my plumbers bill is racking up thanks to VP.
I shall be seeking compensation and have very littler faith that the design will be any different when I eventually get a toilet in one piece.
Would never use VP again for any main bathroom fittings extremely disappointed.”
“I've never felt the need to write a damning review about any company. However, in Victoria Plum I have no choice but to make an exception.
Original communications were pleasant and positive. The problems began when the various products arrived. For example a myriad of items were damaged on delivery, many had to be returned or refunded due to numerous faults. This process of replacing faulty items and products; generally being of exceptionally poor design quality has been unrelenting.
Bottom line...if you're funds are limited, they can seem like a reasonable solution. However, the cheap prices are reflected in the poor quality of products and completely inconsistent and uncoordinated customer services. Buy at you peril...you'll be living with consequences for many years!!”
