Fraudulent company. I posted an item which I have proof of delivery. The paid said she received a completely different item. I complained, Vinted contacted the courier and said that I didn’t follow the correct shipping g procedure so they refunded the buyer when she did receive the item. They certainly do not support the seller and customer service is shocking. They don’t look at the proof so I have lost money.

I am absolutely disgusted with Vinted. I asked for return from a seller who went ahead and issued one. It stated that the parcel should be sent by the 16th of September, I went ahead and sent the parcel on the 15th. No tracking information appeared. I contacted Vinted about my concerns, an automated response told me that they would reply within 48 hours. No one responded until I messaged again after 48 hours, within which time, the return was cancelled as it went out of the return time, even though it had been sent! I have provided the return receipt and tracking info yet Vinted are reluctant to help because they’ve already released funds to the seller! I sent the item before the send date yet apparently it is my fault? They have no said they will say no more on the matter, leaving me without the item or the money, even though I sent before the send date! Absolutely disgusting

Bought a pair of trainers to be delivered too a shop.Vinted put wrong name on the parcel.I can't collect it.Emailed them.got a Message back in FRENCH stating reply in 48 hours.They didn't.Sent another email and got same message but they did reply.In order too fix the transaction they sent a form for me too fill in but the form was PDF format.I can't edit that.They had the cheek too troll me too reformat the form and use paint too edit the text.Impossible too do.Useless support.Anyways told them they are a joke company so the blocked my account and Im dealing with the transaction with my Bank only as Vinted are useless.

Terrible customer service. When things go wrong you’re on your own. Their buyer protection fee doesn’t protect the buyer from anything if your seller refuses to cooperate. Plus the buyer has to pay even more for returning the faulty item! Repeatedly have had awful experiences & no help from vinted at all.

I paid for a Ted Baker bag advertised as new without tags. It was clearly not Ted Baker not a T marking in sight in fact no label whatsoever and a mark on the front to boot. Looks like a Primark bag. I send about 15 photographs and a week of constant chasing Vinted say that they don’t think it is counterfeit and released my money to the seller!!! Absolute rubbish scammers can do what they want they’ll get their money anyway.

Very, very bad experience, I paid £30 and plus insurance and delivery, for Nike trainers and I received rubbish. The trainers is si old and used, shame who sells rubbish.

Absolute scam!!!! Wonder what intention the developer had while creating Vinted! Awful experience, extremely poor customer service. New to Vinted the process was very tricky to understand with complicated process of 2Day format to say if the item was defective or not, if not stated within that time frame - don’t expect any help from Vinted 🙄! 1st awful experience - bought a bundle of 3 item, thought items were fine but on a closer look there was a tear under one of the sleeves of the dress, told the seller about the situation as this was not noticed in the first look but when worn the big tear was quiet visible and hence immediately informed when this was noticed. But neither the seller Nor the customer service centre was helpful! Vinted just watched and did nothing, placing buyer at blame as any issue should have been sorted within the 2Day time frame! 2nd experience was when an bracelet ordered just snapped on the first attempt, and the quality of the product was awful and the hence the item just broke! But here again the so called customer support team did nothing to sort this even after knowing that the item just snapped and could not be fixed. The seller accepted the return but with buyer putting up the return postage cost! How was the buyer at fault when the item didn’t even last the last try!!! What happens when you find a defective item when you shop???? The store you buy from takes the responsibility and either give you a return or refund! Vinted has the most awful services I have dealt with- even if the buyer is not at fault and the seller refuse to take up the responsibility of the return postal cost, Vinted did nothing to step in help!!!! My two scenario experience with Vinted was awful with poor customer support or care! Other than minting money for their service, no service was provided for the money taken!!!! EBay is by far much better at customer service than what this place has to offer!!! Never coming back!!!! Warning, Please stay away from such scammers!!!

Awful service, it's just like dealing with robots, can't actually speak to someone and there terms and conditions are worth nothing.....honestly don't use them if you want to loose your money and never get it back.

Got perm banned without any explanations and needed to wait each day for 4 days for their bot response... to pass the 5th day and got banned without possibility of appellation on 6th. Like someone said, their support is a joke.

Vinted had a technical issue which lasted days, which meant that the issue button did not work, neither did customer service. There is no customer service or help. Wrote several times explaining that the seller had agreed a refund but was unable to press the issue button or contact anyone, so the payment went through. Vinted just kept replying that I had not pressed the issue button, which I could not. Robots not people. If things go wrong you are own your own.

Horrendous customer service! I am a seller who despatched a pair of trainers 24 hours after them being purchased. I sent them on a tracked service. Around 2 weeks later, customer advised she hadn't received the item. I tracked the parcel, advised they had attempted deliver 3 times and the parcel was now at the local delivery office. She advised she would visit the office to collect. Another week on, customer raises a dispute advising she cannot visit the office as it's 30+ mins drive / 2 hour walk when in fact it was a 7 min drive / 43 min walk. Vinted then refunded the customer even though I could provide evidence of tracking and the conversation between myself and the customer. I advised I cannot be held responsible for the customer not being at the address when delivery is attempted. Checked the tracking a couple of days later, the customer had received the order so customer had clearly planned to dispute the payment, receive a refund and then arrange with the delivery office to have these redelivered. I am now out of pocket whilst the customer has received a refund and the trainers. Have been back and forth with support agents and I'm told they can't help, I'll have to claim compensation from the delivery company. How can I claim compensation when the customer has the parcel? I receive pretty much the same response every time. So basically, Vinted are supporting fraudulent transactions. I've provided tracking, proof of delivery, image of delivery but yet Vinted have still sided with the customer even though it is in black and white that the parcel has been delivered. Absolutely appalled at this service and the way this has been handled. Will be moving all my goods over to eBay as their customer service is spot on. Avoid Vinted at all costs!

I am devastated. I listed a shirt in original wrapper and it sold immediately. I got £2 for it and packed and sent immediately due to be delivered. Seeing as that went well I decided to sell a pair of shoes. They are sketchers, bought at sketches shop at the outlet centre in ashford Kent. They have a serial number and I can say as far as I know genuine. I have so for lost the shirt and also £2. This does not worry me but my reputation does. I am a 76 year pensioner and know nothing about counterfeit goods or scamming. Shame on you Vinted I want nothing but an apology and definitely do not want to be associated with a company that gets it SO WRONG

I received a wrong order which was the fault on Inpost. Provided evidence of what I received and all details. Eventually the seller received their funds but I wasn't and have not been refunded for the order effectively lost. I paid buyer protection so I should have. According to inpost who won't discuss the full detail with me as their business is with Vinted, they updated WHY the wrong order was delivered. Vinted have come back to me to say that inpost have confirmed delivery. I have gone through Resolver and hundreds of messages later no further forward. I have read reviews similar to my situation on other platforms and people have lost large sums of money. This is disgraceful. There are many issues in these reviews and as some have said, everything is fine until it isn't. Vinted have set up as a professional business but they are not.

I have bought quite a few things from Vinted and had no problems. The trouble starts when you do have a problem. Vinted always seems to side with the seller. Even after charging buyers a so called buyer protection policy. They make it so difficult and confusing to fill in their any issues form and you never really know if they have received it. I have been informed that I didn’t fill in the form quickly enough but that is an out and out lie. It was filled in within 2 hours. I would just say to buy very cheap because if it goes wrong then you haven’t lost a lot.

I have had 2 parcels that I’ve sold on Vinted that once sent have gone missing, one via evri one via in post . Vinted are slow to respond and don’t seem to grasp the problem when explaining on the contact form . There’s no help and no compensation for my missing parcels as I’m the sender not the buyer . They don’t speak to you directly and messages back and forth are frustratingly lost in translation somehow

Please be careful, I have been using Vinted couple of time if everything goes smoothly they are fine , but when is a problem they are not gonna help you .I have lost my money . I had to return a dress and I had proof that the item was received still because she didn’t confirm she received the item they closed the case and didn’t refund the money .So be careful especially if is a big transaction, use EBay they are better at dealing with a problem.

First time user of vinted: I (stupidly) presumed as you have to pay "Buyer's Protection" with every item, that should something go wrong, it would be easy to sort. How very wrong I was! I ordered 3 different items. There were issues with 2 of them, one of which arrived dirty and stained, so very much not as described, and yet I have to pay for the postage to return! I can understand paying for return of items I have decided not to keep due to size etc....But this wasn't what I ordered!! So now I will be out of pocket. Tried contacting Vinted for advice and their customer service is absolutely appalling! Took them 4 days to get back to me, and they had totally ignored my question and simply copied and pasted in from their FAQs. Responded and asked for clearer advice only to pretty much get the same. I'm now waiting for a further response. My window for return is now closing so I have to decide whether to fork out for the return to get my money back or simply accept this as one of life's lessons. Will absolutely not be using again and will be advising others to avoid. Stick to eBay!

This review comes from a user who is both a customer and a seller. Overall I applaud the concept, however, the whole Vinted business model is just so defective in so many ways. 1.Starting with customer service, i'm not sure up to this date, I have ever spoke with a human in any of my interactions with them. You will usually get the same automated messages, with no personality, and most of the times you have to reach out regarding the same problem several times as the actual problem doesn't get solved. Reporting fraudulent users or content can be hard at times and in some cases they won't take any action despite reporting a counterfeit item for example, as the product passed an initial automatic review. 2. The amount of counterfeit items on this platform baffles me, despite their terms and conditions plus the not to mention the legal requirements. Everyday I see tons of new counterfeit items making their way on the platform and I can't see any efforts from their side to stop this, despite numerous efforts and reports from my side alone. On the other hand, original products, that i personally bought and provided with proof of purchase were taken down and I was unable to sell it on the platform because they believed it was counterfeit, despite all and any proof I provided. All on one, fake items are approved for sale, but original items are being taken down, now that's what I call great business.. 3. App crashes and bugs happen quite often. Also some of their campaigns are rigged and despite reporting these issues, no resolution will be given, no action will be taken. 4. Some of the delivery companies they work with sould be of the marker to begin with, thanks to their horrible customer service, and despite Vinted having all the data/report/complains they don't seem to care, but will rather hold the delivery company side if your parcel gets damaged or lost in transit. Also, the compensation in case of damage/loss is ridiculously low and in most of the cases doesn't cover the full amount but pennies compared with the actual product value, so if you sell something valuable on Vinted, you'd better pray. 5. In some cases the product uploading process can really take 48 hours (which I find absurd) but nevertheless, if a few days later you want to change one detail such as the price on that product you will be met with the same check again, despite the product being accepted once, and having to wait another 48 hours for the product to be back online is just a joke. 6. The reviews part of things can be really unfair at times. To talk facts, if you have a product that is well described with all the issues presented in your add, including pictures with the defects, it would be unfair for the buyer to give you 1 star because the product he received was defective, since all those defects were pointed and presented in the add to begin with. If you start a dispute in such a case, the customer service won't do much to help you, as I stated earlier it's hard for robots to be human. 7. I have recently approached their customers service asking about one of their curent campaigns, as I was eligible but wasn't given the "badge", and after many back and forth messages, I was accused of "fraudulent activity", reason why I wasn't eligible. When asking for proof or meaning of this so called "fraudulent activity" thay responded with "unfortunately this must be our final decision" without providing any proof to their harsh accusations. I have reached out to their legal department immediately as I was very offended by these accusation but didn't hear anything from them yet. This would be the second email send to their legal department and since they didn't bother to reply to my first email I don't expect them to answer my last one. These are my experiences with Vinted so far in about 4/5 months of using it, and despite being a good initiative, it's faulty on so many levels...
