Don't make the mistake of going with Vodafone!!!!!!!!!!!! They have absolutely shocking customer service!!!!!!!!! What have I done!!!!!!!!! I am getting ripped off and nobody is helping me. Just spent 1 hour on the phone to be told they will call me back on Sunday to solve the problem. Also been told that they are going to charge me an extra £10 a month for 18 months and I can't do anything about it.

Vodafone are a terrible phone company..., I am on my first contract and they over charged me £14.50 on my bill, keep cutting me off due to their errors of not taking the money and do not help in any situation!! I suggest you do not go for Vodafone, their business is slow and utter rubbish, and they are take additional charges for NO REASON!!!

I have only ever been with Vodafone for over 20 years. Customer service was always great, no problems with signal and always get a good deal. However Vodafone have now pushed me to breaking point, after unlawfully taking money out of my bank for 3 months for a sim that was canceled within the cooling off period due to their inability to transfer the phone numbers. For the past 2 months I've spent calling Vodafone 2/3 times a week no call less than 40mins or in excess of 2 hours, just for them to admit their mistake, as nobody in the customer service dep seem to leave good enough notes for the next person to make any sense of. Now finally I've been offered a full refund but wait, after waiting the 14 days refund period to realise I still have no money, to be told I have to wait another 14 days and yes the same thing happened again, so I've been waiting well over a month for my money to be returned to me and I still don't have it. I will never use Vodafone again, for a company to be soo good to have gotten really poor in a very short space of time and have made my life hell for the past 5 months is unacceptable and they should be held accountable for what they are putting people through.

My phone number doesnt even EXIST anymore, for almost a year and they STILL charge me. I finally removed vodaphone from my bank to stop this illegal payments and yet I still receive emails regarding my non existent bill. I don't even LIVE IN LONDON, I live in malaysia and paid so much money to call them internationally to get them to just go away and NO they are still harassing me. I am finally back in london after a year to call them without international charges and they have promised me 3 times in 1 week to call me back. I am currently on hold with them right now. RIDICULOUS. DO NOT USE VODAPHONE

Absolute awful customer service, nobody at the call centre seems to know what is going on and so just tell you what you want to hear until the following month you have to call them again with the same problems!! I submitted a complaint over to phone and online, neither were follows up or even acknowledged, shocking lack of care about customers!! I took a call from them yesterday asking if there was anything they could do to make me stay with them, after a brief summary of why I was leaving all the guy could say was I don't blame you, they are awful at customer service and following procedures on complaints, if there own staff think that too....steer clear!!

If you are considering taking a phone contract out with Vodafone, I urge you to think twice about this!!! I was lured in by their cheaper rates and promise to have great mobile network connection everywhere which quite frankly isn't true. Ever since getting my phone contract with Vodafone 5 months ago, it has been nothing but a burden to me. For the first 2 months of my contract i was unable to make or receive calls or text messages which a massive pain! Since that has been fixed it has been my internet that is not working. I pay £35 a month for unlimited calls & texts and 6 GB of data with a HTC one M9. There has not been one point of my contract in which i have been able to use my phone to its full capabilities due to Vodafone's poor network problems. I have spent close to 24 hours of my life over the past 5 months trying to sort out these problems. I have made over 100 calls to Vodafone's customer support which isn't support at all, been into the local shop over 15 times and nothing has been done! They are incredibly rude and do not help at all! No one has told me what is wrong with my account and nothing has been said about when it is going to be fixed. I have tried on many occasions to cancel my contract as they have broken the contract that i signed with them when i took it out but each time have been told i will have to pay in excess of £600 to cancel it which i will not do. I am now taking legal action against them to get this contract cancelled so i can go with a mobile operator that will provide me with what i am paying for. If you are reading this, I can't stress this enough; DO NOT GET A MOBILE CONTRACT WITH VODAFONE!!!

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. 3 problems spanning over a 13 month period to resolve. Over charging, false promises and blatent lies in regards to the "deal" they are offering you which is never written down in the notes so you have no way of proving what they said they was offering you. When you ask for a call to be pulled they are mysteriously no longer on record. Staff putting the phone down on you. Staff refusing to escalate to management, staff lying about writing notes on the system to show what they have done. I have had 19 callbacks set which no one has ever called me back on including managers! Waiting for 10 days at a time to be called back then having to chase again! I have probably spent a week on the phone to this company over the past year. I have been mis sold a tablet that I didnt even want by some upselling agent calling me directly, stating I will only pay an extra £2.00. Turns out its more like £25.00 a month!!! 1 month and half later STILL this has not been resolved, the call hasnt been listened to. I've been told I have to wait another 5 days for a callback as they are raising the case again. (3rd time). Call after 6pm and youll get a call centre in CAIRO where you will be lied to so they can get you off the phone. They will give you false names and I.D numbers or point refuse to give you their name and I.D number. Managers will put the phone down on you or refuse to help. Complaints you put in about these agents and managers do NOT get looked at. SHOCKING levels of customer service, I have never known any company like it. They need to be wiped off the face of the earth. I cannot wait untill september comes around so I can leave this bag of ISH company forever. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

My experiences today Trying to upgrade my phone impossible via the website. Live chat with an "advisor" to spend more fruitless minutes waiting to be replied to. Telephoning them only to get an automated message informing me someone will ring back. They did 2 rings and no one on the other end. Think I will wind down the contract (2 phone lines) and go with someone else who wants my business.

I recently upgraded my phone and have had no end of problems. They sent the new SIM card and no phone and this took multiple calls to customer helpline to sort out of which of course I was charged for the calls even tho it was their mistake and they assured me they would wave the call charges. That is now sorted only now I discover they have had "problems with billing" and have added 2x 1 off charges to my phone that they shouldn't have totalling £65 however after 1.5 hours on the web chat they refunded me £30? What about the other £35?! I would definitely recommend staying well clear of Vodafone, they are shocking... Go with O2...

Vodafone are the worst company I have ever dealt with across the board! They have been stealing people's data and charging them for it I know as they have tried doing this to me many times EVEN when I've switched my data off they have still stole it then charged me rediculous amounts when they've taken it, signal is terrible customer service appalling

I have only been with this company for 13 months and I hate them more than I hated EE - which is saying something. I received a text off of Vodafone in June advising me that some charges were changing and to look at the website for more info. I did look at the website and it said that as the RPI was going to raise more than 0.9% I could cancel my contract. I wrote the letter like it told me to, sent it by recorded delivery and it was signed for on 11/07/2015. I still haven't had ANY response to this letter. I spoke to someone on the online chat thing, who tried to tell me I couldn't cancel and everyone received the text message for information purposes - untrue as the website said that the information only applied to the people who had received a text message from Vodafone (a blatant lie then?) I still haven't received ANY response to my email and Vodafone don't do email addresses for the public? REALLY? What company in this day and age doesn't have an email address for correspondence? Then, I got annoyed even more when someone fobbed me off with a FAKE email address - really?! ridiculous! My mobile data (which I pay for every month) doesn't work, I constantly have to look for a wifi spot, my online account doesn't let me in, but this doesn't bother Vodafone, it bothers me though. I would actually like to look at my bill, not talk to an adviser every month. I have contacted a solicitor about this company - they are taking it further for me. This is the worst company I have ever been with - please don't ever go with them, they are awful.

2 weeks ago someone was able to access my account despite giving incorrect information and while the fraud has been " investigated " the customer service team do not wish to know I have been promised call backs that never came left on hold for hours and even told that I might as well go to ombudsman because they won't deal with it. I have 3 lines with Vodafone and I want out but no one will help me I'm at a loss this company is so untrustworthy

Since taking out a SIM only contract with Vodafone via mobiles.co.uk I have not had a full and satisfactory service. Numerous phone calls have been long, confusing and fruitless with no progress and incorrect information for the reason for not having the full service contracted for. I have also been told that I can only cancel the contract if I pay a cancellation fee of £150. I have had the phone checked out and tried the SIM in an alternative phone to check if it will work effectively in a phone that we know is fine. Am now trying to resolve problem via mobiles.co.uk but rest assured that if I ever get this sorted I will never again touch Vodafone and possibly mobiles.co.uk ever again. Vodafone not only have the worst possible service but the most ineffective and poorly qualified staff I have ever come across. Not good for a Communications Industry to have such poor communication and service for it's customers.

Wow, looks like I am not the only one. What a company. Throughout my 2 year contract the 3G has been, to all intents and purposes, non-existent - including in places where others are getting good, strong signals at the same time. I am in the process of leaving them at the moment. What a desperate struggle. Their web chat service is nothing short of a bad joke. I spoke to someone last month to find out the exact date of the end of my contract. It was 33 days away, he told me that I had to give them 30 days notice. I asked if I could give them 33 days notice (for obvious reasons), but the answer was "no", and I was told I had to get back in touch in 3 days. It took a long time to get to this point, as I was basically ignored for most of the conversation so this person could throw some fairly rubbish new contract deals at me that were considerably worse than the one I am moving too. He even had the nerve to tell me that if I stayed with them then the new (inferior) deal would be 'rewarding' me for my years of service (only 2 years, but he was convinced it was 8). Anyway, got back in 2 days and went through the whole thing again (internet chat), including the sales pitch, despite me saying I just wanted to hand in my 'notice'. Eventually got transferred. Next person did the same thing. Got transferred again but was put on hold. Was on hold for about 30 minutes, and then, bang, end of conversation. Tried to restart another one and lo and behold, I can't as the web chat is down. I'm fuming at this point, so try it on an Ipad. Guess what - the web chat is working on that while it isn't working on my laptop........ call me cynical etc etc. And again, guess what - the whole thing is repeated, including being cut off after being transferred. So I try ringing. This has taken me a couple of hours and it is now 20 minutes before the customer service is closed. Guess what, when I get transferred to the relevant department it is closed, more than 15 minutes early. I have printed out the conversations that I had, so as far as I am concerned, I have told Vodafone that I am leaving and I will simply cancel the direct debit. I'm sure they will 'try it on' but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. Then, today, 2 days before the end of my contract, I start a web chat to try and get my PAC code, and lo and behold, just as the conversation is going somewhere, I am cut off and now the web chat is 'offline'. And, guess what, it works on my Ipad! There is no email whatsoever, otherwise I would just send them an email saying I'm off. I will try to ring as well of course, but it seems like they are going to great lengths to basically ignore me and make it impossible for me to leave Vodafone. As in, literally impossible, because they simply disconnect me everytime I tell them I'm leaving and then stop me being able to get in contact with them from my computer, and then do the same when I contact them from another computer/ tablet. Oh, and don't bother e-mailing a web chat conversation to yourself to keep a record. I did this just now as I'm not at a printer. Guess what - no email! So that conversation has dissapeared. I'm sure there will be no record! So, I'm sure I will face issues when I just cancel the direct debit - but what else can I do? I quite literally cannot tell them I am leaving. I have a print out of a conversation where I say I am leaving, so I will keep hold of that and hope for the best. Disgusting customer service, foul, awful little company. Not just a bad company, but a company that seems to actively scheme against it's customer (in my case at least) to make their life difficult. Morally reprehensible, and I look forward to no longer having to deal with them.

I am now on Tesco mobile and the service is 1000 times better than Vodafone, happily I will not be returning to Vodafone in the future for any reason. The signal is poor, crackly and cuts off regularly. I was promised a fast internet connection on my phone and the only internet I could use without losing patience was on Wi-Fi, that is unacceptable. I have contacted Vodafone on many occasions and been on hold for upwards of 30 minutes at all times of the day, peak or off peak. The most helpful person I spoke to over my 24 month contract was the a fellow who cancelled my account at the end of my contract, he seemed to be the only person who knew what they were doing, it's a shame they can't be that professional and precise with the duration of the contract. STAY AWAY!!!
