I regret taking out a contract with vodaphone. Their customer service is the poorest I have ever encountered and customer service team the worst trained employees I have ever had to deal with. Advisors are not bothered about fixing a problem or taking ownership. Due to a vodaphone fault, my direct debit has failed 3 successive times, affecting my credit rating and leaving me without coverage - I have called vodaphone at least 6 times over 2 months to sort this out. I was promised a management callback 5 times but never got one. Yesterday spent 3 hours on the phone being passed around billing and cancellations team - spoke to six people in one call. vodaphone are failing to provide a basic service and also not allowing me to be released from my contract unless I pay them £400. Just the worst commercial experience of my life. Ever. I would not recommend anyone take contract with them.

After 10 years treated like dirt On line chat are both rude and predictable. 191 services just dont listen. Writing to head office by recorded delivery ignored. He right doesn't knows the left is doing. Worst customer service experienced in 70 years a disgrace. I would like to give -0 if such a mark was possible.

I've never been able to login and use bt wifi even though I've been trying for 2 years. I should get 1gb free with my contract. I've been into several of their stores and the poorly trained staff tell me to use my vodafone login and password. It never works and the staff in my dirty local vodafone stores can offer no other advice. I've called their customer non-service line many times and waited for over an hour to hear the same thing. Yesterday one of their advisors called me about some negative feedback I'd left and about why I'm cancelling one of my contracts and going to talk mobile instead. I mentioned my BT wifi problems and the fact that I feel deliberately mislead about my contract and what I'm actually getting for my money. He could only tell me to use my vodafone login details and had no other ideas to help me. So today I tried their live chat. Oh my days where to start about that. My first session ended unexpectedly. Then I spoke to Rohit who's terrible grasp of the english language has made my problems even worse. I really don't think he understood me at all. He said he was sending me a password via email to login with. He didn't send it. What he has done is stopped me logging into my vodafone account at all. Now my login, which worked fine i might add wont work on their site and I cant open the vodafone app on my phone either. I HATE their customer services I called them on saturday to cancel a contract and waited for an hour and a quarter before my call was answered. The operator was neither polite nor courteous but I'd guess that was because the poor guy is so over worked. I wish that I'd never switched to vodafone. I wish I could leave. I'm going to see a solicitor about what I feel is breach of contract I don't get what I've been paying for for over 2 years.

So after an hour of being transferred by Vodafone I finally speak to someone about my account only to be told despite paying substantially to be removed from one com I am still with them. Vodafone response was "apologises our staff lied but we haven't transferred your account" so they tool my money and did nothing. Requested to speak to complaints and told sorry your not happy but speak to one com. VODAFONE are a lying joke that take money and treat you like rubbish.

Sales experiences was great - been with Vodafone for nearly 15 years and this upgrade was fine. Happy with the deal etc. I had an issue with the new phone and wanted to exchange it. Delivery became an issue (I work during the week) and so discussed with Vodafone for help. That's when the issues started!!! Long call waiting times Rude staff who are unhelpful Failure to call back as promised I clearly asked to log a formal complaint..... 7 weeks later and I'm still waiting for a response! The call operator was happy to cancel my contract when I said I had no alternative to the week day delivery In the end I contacted DPD the delivery company and arranged my exchange directly with them. Service was great from DPD. I'm still waiting for Vodafone to call me back, resolve my complaint but considering the ludicrous service I received I'm not holding my breath. Absolutely disgusting. Vodafone has gone downhill significantly in recent years which is a shame because I pride myself on company loyalty. Will not be renewing again and have warned all my friends and family away from Vodafone.

I was in store with my parents while they were upgrading their phones and the person in store upgraded my phone by mistake (as it is under my dads account). This totally left my phone dead. I couldn't make and calls or texts. The didn't seem too fussed about the issue either. All they could say is that it was completely their fault. On top of this they had to go across to another shop to get some change for our refund. Unbelievable customer service. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Just an absolute waste of time. Out of the blue and without consent, they increased my plan charge by £10 and I have now spent over 8 months calling to correct this. Constant empty promises and I've literally spent hours and hours to get through to them so they can correct their mistake. Should've left a LONG time ago.

Honestly do not know where to start, they crashed my Vodafone app so I couldn't check my allowances, then charged me ridiculous overage, took 4 months to get my app fixed and about 30 live chat sessions that 99% of the time ended up with them cutting me off. Promised refunds that have never arrived, callbacks I have never got, and to top it all off another £80 taken from my account today, despite being told yesterday it would be considerably lower 'this time' due to a refund they were taking off my bill (which surprise surprise they haven't) & (while I'm on the subject this refund was supposedly issues to my bank nearly 4 weeks ago? So how could it have been refunded and taken off the bill but neither actually happened?? Someone's telling more lies...). Constantly making false promises, I want to know if they are even regulated??? Honestly I cannot stress enough how horrific they are, worst company ever, everyone just go to o2 at least they treat there customers right!!!

Vodafone will lie to you, customer service cant speak English, and when they do they still cant fix any problems. Vodafone director support staff are useless, just more lies. if you complain or use bad words , they start crying , and they threaten to turn your sim off. they told me I had 72 hours before they turn my sim off, but turned my sim off within 2 hours. leaving me with NO phone over xmas. ive been a Vodafone customer since 1999, and had nothing but trouble recently. now with EE and so much better and cheaper !! KEEP AWAY FROM VODAFONE ESPECIALLY IF YOUR PHONE IS IMPORTANT TO YOU.

Diabolical service from Vodafone! My 80 year old mother has been scammed for £40 from her pay as you go phone in 2 weeks. Customer services promise to investigate and call back but never do, their online chat say they are unable to help and just keep referring back to customer service line at 35p a minute. Dare I suggest it's an internal scam?

Since May they keep charging me 4.99 for skysports app which is for free with red xl bundle. Customer service is full of people who cant sort simple things cant speak English and they keep lying that they will sort everything. For last 3 months they cant set new DD. Since September they didnt reply for my written complaint. I was forced to open a case against them with Services ombudsman. Im hoping that they will help me to cancel my contract with this shocking company. Avoid !!!! Avoid !!!! Avoid !!!! And btw signal is crap. If you are in cooling off period cancel your contract before it will be to late.

Another 'Vodafone Nightmare'... I had a SIM-only contract for my iPad incl. the 'Eurotraveller' (data @ £3 per day when abroad), came back from a short trip and received an unduly high invoice - the Eurotraveller hadn't been implemented = I incurred extra costs. Made my first - very long - call, was ensured, the error was theirs, all is resolved, 'Back Office' would be in touch within 7 working days with the revised invoice, after that I could cancel my contract. Needless to say, they didn't get back, instead, I received an even higher invoice. Went to Vodafone store, they couldn't help me, but I could make a call from the store (loud, uncomfortable as I had to stand in a corner, nowhere to put paper/pen). Finally, resolved issue; paid what I actually owed by debit card, cancelled my account. All done - so I thought... 2 Months later - I receive a reminder - an even higher amount - although I haven't had their SIM in my iPad for months! AND - I had paid the bill! - 2 months ago! I decided to use the online Chat facility so I would have a written transcript of the conversation. 16.11.15 - 1 hour 48 minutes! If you were to read it, you'd think it's some sort of practical joke - the kind where someone tells you really stupid stuff to test your patience only to secretly film you when you loose it... Unbelievable! 4 different people, each not properly reading what I had written, scripted answers that weren't relevant, left on hold for ages, lousy spelling. But, finally resolved! I had their written assurance of the immediate cancellation, incorrect charges removed from my account and 'Thank you for contacting Vodafone, have a nice day ahead'.... Then, last week, one month later - a lovely Christmas letter surprise - I receive the FINAL NOTICE - with threat to register my account as a bad debt etc! Enough is enough - I've registered my complaint with the Ombudsman and received friendly, professional attention from there. Next, I have to waste more time and money in sending a registered mail to the CEO of Vodafone and try to get some press attention, write as many bad reviews as I can, warn friends, family, colleagues. It really isn't worth going with a company with such poor customer service - there are so many others out there. There can't be any price deal worth the hassle. I wonder how many more reviews of this sort they need before someone at the top realises that their system and management need a serious overhaul?

I would try any other network provider before Vodafone! I have 5 phones on my contract and whenever there is a problem Vodafone will not address the problem, the customer services are disgusting to the point they have an habit of hanging up on you and not calling back! My bills are supposed to be free calls and texts but I am getting charged £3 each for sending a text to my mum who lives on the next street, Avoid at all costs.

I am absolutely seething with rage at Vodafone right now. I have 2 contracts with them and have been a customer for many years. Just before Christmas last year, we pretty much lost our signal at our home address. I contacted Vodafone multiple times about this but they wouldn't accept that there was a problem and suggested I buy a Sure Signal box at a cost of £100. I was pretty unimpressed and vowed to cancel the contracts as soon as I was able. Other people in our house are on EE and O2 and have no signal problems. So, the first contract is now available to cancel and I duly rang last Sunday to do this and the guy I spoke to was lovely. Told me I was a VIP customer because I'd been with them so long and he would offer me a great deal to stay. I totally fell for it. What an idiot I was. He offered me a fabulous deal including a brand new iphone and a Sure Signal Box free of charge and it would all be delivered on Tuesday. I was very happy and more than satisfied. But, alas, it was not to be. When I didn't get a text notification on Tuesday with the delivery time, I checked online to discover that my order had been cancelled and an email confirmation sent to to confirm this. No email was sent. In fact, Vodafone didn't contact me at all. I got on their online chat, and after about 30 minutes, someone promised to speak to their boss to reinstate the order which had been cancelled due to 'technical' reasons and that I would receive a text later. No text arrived so I got on the online chat for the second time and after a couple of transfers they decided they had to call me. No signal, remember?? I did eventually get them to call me on the landline and they put me on hold and, after driving home for Christmas with Chris Rea for the tenth time, they cut me off. Blood pressure rising, I tried online chat again only to come up against a brick wall. No one could explain the technical issues that led to my order being cancelled and no one knew how to reinstate it. After two and a half hours, I gave up and they told me to try agaian the next day. Then, out of the blue, the very first person I spoke to on online chat text me and told me the phone would be delivered the next day. Between 8 and 6. I waited in. Again. No phone. No Sure Signal Box. No communication from Vodafone and not one sign of an apology to which I am now surely entitled. So, I ventured into the miserable world of online chat with them again. They came up with the same bullsh*t excuses and still couldn't explain what had happened and said it was possible they could reinstate the order but it was going to take 3-5 days to process this before they could start. I can get a new phone from EE or O2 straight away. I really don't need to be treated like this by Vodafone. I am indescribably fed up with this multi-million pound company's complete inability to process an order. I am, of course, going to cancel both my contracts. I have had multiple contracts with Vodafone for over a decade and I will never deal with them again. I can't believe they have treated me this way but reading other reviews makes me realise I am far from alone in this. I'm going to share my experience with Vodafone on every site I can find.

absolute disgrace, nobody knows what they are doing or talking about, customer service says one thing and stores say another, on the customer services they are like talking to a bunch of dyslexic cats, constantly passing you from one branch to another and then to another until somebody hangs up, they don't record the notes in the the account like the law requires them to, they don't look into any problems you have just say " you owe the money you have to pay" either tho the contract was cancelled before my start date, stay away at all costs if you value your health, money and credit score
