Vodafone is the worst major company I have had to deal with. I needed to upgrade my phone. It's used constantly for business. It had become unreliable. The online upgrade process took endless calls - promised callbacks never happened - promised delivery dates were ignored. When eventually the upgrade phone arrived I needed input to set it up. Shop staff in Abingdon were rude and seemingly incompetent. It's amazing to me how Vodafone manage to continue in business while treating customers like dirt.

Absolutely awful and wish there was a choice for 0 stars. Vodafone are just awful expensive, nothing for loyal customers and the worst customer service ever. Run by a bunch of idiots. Stay away they are not worth a penny. And the final straw for me was when I paid 217 in December for them to claim the payment didn't get received although it had came out my bank and was on my bank statement. After days of messing around and phoning up and getting cut off even though I had paid my bill. I had to go in the shop and prove I had paid. Still it didn't sort anything as we are now in march and they still can't tell me what has happened to my payment and it comes up I am in arrears with them. So they can kindly do one. Thanks but no thanks. AVOID THEM AT ALL COST

Not helpful at all and very predictable in what they will say. I was even told to call customer service the once! Strange as I thought the were customer services. It seem to be just a front now and a tick in the box service that they can say they offer! Very poor.

Customer services are the rudest people ever and when you get annoyed they put you on hold over 6 months and still not sorted out problem

My sim card stopped working so I had a chat on Vodafone web site. They did not find any fault with the card and advised me to have it replaced in the shop. I went to the branch in Reading but they told me they cant help me. Bad company and Customer service.

The worst company I have ever come across in my life!!! constant billing mistakes and when you speak to customer services nobody has an absolute clue, you get passed all round the world nobody gives a dam and the phone even gets put down when i asked to cancel. I have spent 35 hours on the phone over the last 6 months trying to sort out a whole catalog of mistakes and errors! its just to much, my advise stay well clear from these cowboys they will cause you nothing but grief

Well where to begin. I have been a costumer for 4 yrs but that means nought to these lot. My phone that I recently upgraded on broke. I had to return it. I was told to take everything off of it including simple tray and sd tray. My new phone arrived the next day. A month or so passed I received a letter saying I was being charge £174 for a missing simple tray(which they told me to take out) irrespective of that the item costs less than £3 on amazon I challanoe this with Vodafone they rised it to be recalculated to no avail.I was told this is"standard charging". Loads calls later to try and resolve it but no neither would anyone resolve it or speak. Except the call handlers which if i am fair do a good job under the circumstances. I than phoned consumer helpline to find out my rights on it. On the day of phoning them I received a email off the department who dealt with the phone and charges I was told the reason why I have been charge and that was missing simple tray and also for a few scratches I challange that as scratches doesn't brake a phone I than received a email saying any psyical damage would void the warranty with the manufacturer and any further disputes to take it up with Vodafone. I replied back saying I do disagree and that scratches are not Wat broke that phone and for a warranty to brake is got be a direct cause of my actions that would brake it. Since than I have been back in contact with consumers advice and they have advised me to seek out alternative resoLuton organisation as vodafone have breached there contract with providing me a phone that wasn't fit the purpose. As a easy going person I decided to give vodafone one last chance being that I have been with them for yrs you don't stay somewhere if you don't like well unfortunately they promised phone calls back but no avail either way willing stay after this contract NO CHANCE soon as I am able to i am gone

They are a bunch of thieves . They take money from your account that does not belong to them . Even when you are told it is a fraud . Trying to get money back is disgracefully long winded . They have so many bad reviews I am surprised that they are not regulated in a much fairer way to consumers. Avoid them.

Incompetent! 90 MINUTES OF LIVE CHAT with 6 different people - not resolved my issue. Disappointment all over I placed ann online order and next day I didn't have any response! After calling them 3 times with nothing as an outcome, I tried live chat... 90 minutes were wasted.... Different responses from each person just bouncing me around without reason and asking the same things each time - security questions, order number, how can they help, etc. They were wasting time reading the chat again and again. At last, I need to wait 24 hours because and update on their server 0_0 I wish I could avoid all that by staying with 3.... Pay 3 pounds more so that you don't waste time

I cannot even begin to explain how poor of a service it is. In the numerous years I was with them I paid over the odds and never received any benefits (my mistake as I kept renewing with them). Then at the end of about 8 years of loyal service I requested to cancel my contract on it's expiry date... this caused a lot of stress and they didn't understand the concept of seeing out your contract. Once I finally sorted this I asked for them to unlock my phone that I had paid in full for, this took a lot of time and once again involved me spending hours on chat and going into stores, always to be told to do the opposite what the other side was saying. Then they overcharged me on my last payment and I was told I was be credited with the money back, after 2 weeks I had received nothing, I then checked with them again and they didn't believe me and said no record of the credit existed. Luckily I knew what they were like and had screenshot evidence of the chat with the company to which they replied 'okay we will sort this for you' (I was chasing everything). They then told me it would be in my back within 3-5 working days, 1 week later nothing. I then checked again on chat and they told me it hadn't been processed and they will do it now and it will be back in my bank in 3-5 working days. This has taken up a lot of hours and been very stressful, I have had to organise everything and put up with numerous lies and been passed on. I am still waiting for the credit to arrive that they legally owe me. Please do not join Vodafone, I have been part of O2 for a few weeks now and I have already received benefits and 5 star customer service whilst having a better phone for cheaper value.

I am waiting for my port to be migrated into Vodafone. I have never in all my life dealt with such a nonsense company who cannot do this 16 days later. What kind of shambles business are they running and playing with public people's lives causing enormous amount of stress and anxiety and we're paying them for such a crap service. Come on guys sort yourselves out or get out!

well, where do I start? there very poor customer service or the inability to sort out ANY issues? it all started 32 mon the ago when I took the contract out... they assured me they could provide me with signal in my current postal address.... signal I could never find myself. they wouldn't let me cancel the contract as I was now out of my cooling off period. ( even though I called up asking about signal... they told me it was a mast down and would be back up running soon)... after months of arguing with there disgustingly poor customer services I decided to leave my contract running and take out another one with amother provider. I left complaint after complaint with vodafone and NEVER once had a call back or letter of apology or Resolvment. in July 2015 my contract was up with vodafone and I phoned up to close the account. to which they told me had been done.. IT HAD NOT BE DONE! they continued to take payments from my account for the next two months. (which I can't get back). After another poor customer service phone call they ensured my account was closed and I would not be billed again.. so I can celled the direct debit with my bank issuer... the following month they once again tried to take payment.. this was because my account wasn't closed again. I received debt collector letters and red marks against my credit filem which was left me unable to obtain a remortgage.. I have called and been into stores and never got anywhere. it's been three months and no body is sorting the issue. I would NOT recommend Vodafone to anyone! all they want is yout money they have absolutely no phone manner or nice customer service. very poor provider. I HAVE NEVER had a apology even though they have admitted to it being there fault in the first place. absolutely disgusting.

I work in customer service and I would be ashamed to offer the service that these bunch of clowns 'attempt' to provide. If you have any sense leave as soon as you can and tell your friends and family not to join Vodafone at all costs. I could write a whole list of failures this Company offers up frequently but it would take me too long. To top off the circle of pain you endure with all this the calls queues are a disgrace aswell!!

Worst Website ever!! For such a big international company how they can have such a poor working website baffles me! Trying to upgrade & have been for over a week & the website crashes or freezes all the time, The 1 time i managed to get right to the end to upgrade a system error message came up... It's like they actually do'nt want you to upgrade!

utterly disgusted and appalled by the service given. So over the weekend my phone was completely cut off. No service whatsoever. My phone still has no service and is still cut off. I have done several online chats, been into store and spoken to them using one of their phones they've admitted it's their fault and agreed to reconnect my phone. This was Sunday. Then every day since as I'm still disconnected. I have emailed the ceo and a representative has emailed back to say my case is being looked into and they will call me at some point today. Are these people idiots? My phone is disconnected and therefore I can't take phone calls.... Where can I go from here? Also on Monday they told me that I had a bill outstanding of £181 which was why I was cut off, the next time I spoke to them they told me there was no such bill!

Do you have a problem with your phone ? Good luck trying to get through to a human to speak to. Automated system keeps sending me round in circles and does not recognise my mobile number (presumably since I swapped using a PAC code.. but that doesn't make it acceptable). I spent at least half an hour trying to find an option to speak to an advisor regarding a faulty screen from a recently purchased handset directly from vodafone. I was not able to get anywhere with the automated system and it would automatically hang up on me for entering the "wrong" mobile number 3 times. I finally figured I would call to report my phone as "Lost or Stolen" just for the sake of speaking to someone then kindly ask if they can put me through to the technical team... However, this option also starts with an automated system advising me that I can go online to request support check my bills etc etc. Utter horse **** worst customer service I have ever experienced... in fact, non existent.

I have a pay as you go SIM card and they sent me a monthly pay SIM card which I didn't want, so a few days later they took the first months money out of my bank for it, so I rang them up they put me on hold and transferred me to 4 different people to speak to, after finally getting through to someone who could understand me he then said I've cancelled the card for you, make sure you cut it up and I'll transfer the money to you within 5-7 days well it's been 7 days and they still haven't given me the money back robbing so and so's! I've rang them up I was on the phone for 35 minutes for them to tell me they can't access the monthly SIM card I said well obviously because it's being cancelled, it carried on and on which I got angry and hung up after they have wasted my time and minutes. What a peice of crap hate Vodafone never recommend them to anyone ever!! Worst phone company all there bothered about is ripping people off and being absolutely pointless at there jobs!

Unresponsive, Tardy and Inflexible even when CEO's office involved We have IPad and phones on Vodafone which are used to provide an out of hours service to 350 very vulnerable patients (those with five or more chronic illnesses).They are registered with an account at the local NHS Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG). The phones and Ipad have had their access restricted by Vodafone (without warning by text or the like). This was discovered by chance on Friday evening and the staff at the CCG had gone home. As restricting the calls and Ipads risks the patients care, I have just requested that the restriction is relieved for this period until Monday. Then your Vodafone team can contact the appropriate person at the CCG. This has been denied saying they cannot relieve any restriction without speaking to the account holder. This suggests a distinct lack of flexibility and common sense and is most disappointing despite involving the CEO's office. The lack of warning of any restriction of service is unacceptable and I would certainly not use Vodafone for any crucial service serving patients or the community where communication is an essential requirement.

Completely incompetent. That's all I can say. After being a loyal customer with them for over 15 years, I won't be renewing when my contact ends. Any recommendations for the best supplier??!!
