Do not use Wickes ,Delivery did not arrive after waiting in all day. I did not even receive a text or courtesy call to say what the issue was. Extremely poor customer service and will not order from them again.

We purchased the Intelliga kitchen (one of the most expensive Wickes kitchens) which was installed 4 months ago and is still incomplete. There was a huge mix up over the delivery and installation dates to start with. The when the installation took place, we had damaged appliances, leaks under the sink, damaged cupboard doors, doors falling off, broken seals on the quartz worktops after 2 weeks, plinths falling off, soft close Blum drawers that won't close (or open with the "touch of a hand" like they're supposed to). Customer service is abysmal. Drawers and mechanisms have been replaced twice and still do not work. They even left the replaced drawers and cupboards on our driveway for us to dispose of. We now have to seek legal advise. Such a stressful process to get even a response and even then Wickes show no empathy or urgency. We sent photos and videos. We sent a formal complaint and even raised it to CEO level He did not even bother to respond but instead forwarded on our email to their substandard Customer Service department who had already failed to deal with our issues in a timely manner. I would not recommend using Wickes for your kitchen purchase and certainly not for an installation. We have no option now but to seek legal advice.

Disastrous Kitchen Installation Beware of Wickes Kitchens: I have had a branded kitchen installed by Wickes. It looked an exceptional and the family was excited at first glance. It’s only as we started using the kitchen found an enormous faults. My daughter is a lawyer and invited the inspector from the institute, to him the installation was a nightmare and in order to rectify would cost over £2000.00 by an independent and neutral installation team. We are in the process to take a direct route with Wickes, and or an indirect route via Furniture Ombudsman and The Institute of KBB for an on-site report to get the work sorted, plus the legal costs to be settled by Wickes.

utterly Disatisfied Wickes was always my preferred shop for all my home projects. i have fitted a full bathroom, laminates, tiles, upgraded radiators, paint ect,and my last purchase was a full orlando cream kitchen, which is to be professionally fitted in oct.so is all boxed in my front room.one item being the 150mm wine rack,i decided to save the fitter time that i would assemble the wine rack ready, and discovered that the side panel of the wine rack was pitted,[see photo] i contacted wickes and explained that it is obviously a fault caused at the manufacturing stage, and could they please replace side panel.well the reply shocked me.as i had assembled the item it was not returnable i understand that if the fault was caused during assembly well fair enough, BUT as you can see by photos it is quite obviously a fault at manufacture,i am afraid this attitude from a massive supplier like wickes shocked me,and they will NOT be getting anymore Business from myself, oh i must add all they could offer was a gift card to the value of £13.i have now have to spoil my showcase kitchen with a faulty product.Wickes i an utterly disappointed.

I have been waiting almost a year from November 2018 for Wickes to complete the outstanding work on my kitchen which I have paid over £10,000 for. In addition, during the initial delivery last November, the driver insisted on trying to get his articulated lorry onto my driveway despite being told not to by several people. Consequently the driveway was damaged. Photos were provided at the time to Wickes. Since then I have had to resend photos of the damage, sent in quote for repair of the damage amounting to over £500. Wickes customer services were dismissive and rude. I was offered £50 ‘as a goodwill damage’ to repair the drive!!! The staff from the fitters to the store staff to customer services to managers do not care. They are rude, patronising and dismissive, using aggressive ‘broken record’ technique and passing me around, each blaming the other. The quality of the kitchen is not good for the price. I have told them how disgusted I am with their poor regard for customer service. I have made numerous phone calls, chasing up, since initial installation in November 2018. I have texted and emailed to no avail. Nobody gets back. Wickes staff are quick to blame the customer and have no regard for or understanding of the stress and frustration, time taken by the customer to resolve the outstanding issues. I have sent formal complaint e mails but have had no response written or otherwise. This is an appalling company who have no regard for customer service, all they are interested in is getting a sale and getting the customer’s money. Taking legal advice and taking this complaint further.

Is this the worst diy chain in the UK? The prices are around 40% more than B & Q the staff are so rude and the trade card I applied for was not processed. I have now decided NEVER to visit this awful store again.

The driver was awful put the phone down on me when I said I was pregnant and not able to carry tiles he then said I'll take them back and hung up. He left them outside and was standing there waiting then was watching me struggling to move these tiles. He then took out his phone and took a picture. Wickes customer service told me that they will bring to my door. This did not happen at all. When i spoke to a manager she said she apologises but it still felt scripted to some extent. I think this policy is ridiculous and I will not be purchasing from this company again.

Really awful service and installation. Once you're sold the kitchen, no one is interested. We've opted for the installation service and it has turned out to be our worse nightmare. The sink leaks, a cupboard top has cracked and broken, the front of the sink unit has fallen off, none of the units are level, the gas range cooker is lower at the front than the back, we have no work tops and are left with huge gaps at the bottoms of our cupboards. Spent hours trying to get customer installation services to sort problems and get a fitter to come and actually finish the kitchen but no one sorts anything, no one rings back. Really is so stressful and upsetting that we can be treated so badly. Going to trading standards and furniture Ombudsman now. Funny how wicks can send us information about our first payment for our finished kitchen though??🤔

I assume the kitchen sales people are on commission. Once you have paid your deposit it is impossible to contact them, despite several unanswered emails, unanswered phone calls and live chat to customer services promising they will ask Wickes (Epsom) to make contact. Nothing!

We ordered two tall louvre doors yesterday to be delivered today (Saturday). We were told they would be delivered between 7 and 12am and they arrived at 10.30. Well packaged in good condition. We would recommend Wickes and it's customer service.

Ok, it's Wickes. Not Harrods. Even so, I expected some kind of customer service. There was no apology or even acknowledgement of inconvenience after numerous cancelled deliveries. I'm surprised they're happy being so incompetent when there are plenty of competitors who will now get my custom.

I've wasted 2 whole days waiting in for deliveries from the Hanger Lane store. There's been virtually no communication, and I had to phone them today when my order hadn't arrived by midday. No hint of an apology, just a suggestion that I re-schedule everything for yet another day in the hope that they might deliver. I have zero confidence in Wickes, so I've cancelled the order and gone to a company which has some integrity and an understanding of customer service. Quite possibly the worst company I've ever had the misfortune to deal with.

Avoid After buying the bathroom we had to go online to pick a date for delivery, the earliest they could deliver was in 5 months. Why did they not say anything during consultation? The delivery arrived at 7.15am on a Saturday morning minus shower panels and a radiator which we now know come from different companies. Nearly a week later still missing the items and we've been past around from one person to the another and from one broken promise to the next. How many times can you say 'we will call you back in an hour or 'I'm sorry she's on lunch'? This means we have to chase them up again the next day and repeat. In fact the panels should have been delivered yesterday but the delivery vehicle broke down....hmmm. The installation is at a standstill as we wait for Wickes to get it together. Unhelpful, uninterested and prone to the occasional lie i'd look elsewhere if you're reading this

Absolutely awful experience with Wickes! Delivery was due and not delivered with no explanation as to why. Had my builders on site and then text message to say arriving a day later so thats two days of building project lost. When I tried to speak to someone about it, the CS is extremely rude and unhelpful. Will never use them again.

Shocking online experience *beyond belief actually* (I posted this on Trust Pilot as well) Shockingly bad service!!! On 27/8/2019 I ordered skirting boards and only after checkout did I realise that although it showed up as "in stock - next day delivery" it was not in stock but would take 7 days to arrive. I called up their customer care line within 2 minutes. Spoke to someone who assured me it would be cancelled. The smaller part of the order would arrive the next day directly from wickes so I should refuse it at the door (which I did = waste of fuel to come the whole way here). I then get a confirmation that my item (that was cancelled within 120seconds of ordering it) will arrive tomorrow via courier. Ridiculous and a waste of everyone's time. Now I will have to wait at home to refuse a delivery I cancelled and wait up to 14 days to get my money back. One star for bad, sums up my experience. I have added my order number (optional) so their management can see how better to do things and not have people like me leave 1 star. 3/9/2019 my cancelled item has not been refunded and today my skirting boards have just been re-delivered. What the actual hell!!!!! Now phoned wickes, had the phone put down on me and phoned the second time and Tammy (who is the only person so far to be helpful) reassured me the timber company (not wickes themselves) will contact me in the next three hours to collect the cancelled order. Note that the driver refused point blank to put them back on his van and told me to call up so that they can arrange to collect them AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Phoned SCA Timber and lady "Mary" on the phone said it would be collected before 6pm. Obviously they didn't come. 4/9/2019 4.30pm * Waited all day for the skirtings to be collected but of course NO SHOW AGAIN. Called up SCA Timber and same lady told me he didn't have time to collect them today but he will come tomorrow. I am fuming, I have to wait again for someone to come (or probably not come) to take away something I cancelled and has been delivered twice. Phoned "Mary" from SCA timbers (wickes) again, driver coming before 6pm today? Lets see!!! I will update this review as and when I ever get my refund and the item eventually gets collected!

An extortionate amount of money spent on a kitchen installation... That took from start to finish 6 months when it was meant to be two weeks max. Fitter was unprofessional, never finished the work and never returned my house key. Work was shoddy and finishes poor. Wickes argued every step of the way to help resolving these issues, hence why it took so long to complete. Customer service is shocking and they simply blame you when things go wrong. This company is totally unaccountable for their actions, fitters and advertise falsely. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

Worktop blew after a couple of months. Was told it had happened as there was a dishwasher and sink near the problem. Was also asked had I put water on the top. Luckily they replaced it after a few stern words in the store as a gesture of good will. Husband fitted kitchen thank god. Never again will I buy wickes
