Once again Wickes messes up and leaves me in the mess. I ordered my stuff online several days ago and paid for it in full. But the day before delivery they tell me that they will be refunding me for some items that they now don't have ! Apparently they have searched high & low but cannot find the items now. I am housebound disabled and I have been waiting for these so that I can start my job. This has caused me a lot of trouble again. I should consider myself lucky that I am just short of a couple of things compared to the time when Wickes failed to deliver on time, then told me it will be the next day, failed to deliver again and extended the delivery by 24 more hours 3 MORE OCCASIONS before quietly giving me a full refund ! Absolutely shocking. I wish there was another option for me close by. I guess this is how Wickes gets away with it. And when I asked for the complaints dept they simply laughed and told me that it would be themselves taking my complaint. Absolutely shocking. Wickes are not disabled friendly at all.

Up there with the worse. AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID Ordered online for collection at Sutton-in-Ashfield. After confirmation, I travelled 45 minutes to collect the order. "oh sorry the wrong size has been picked". The person responsible for the mistake walked at a snails pace upon being called and seemed that he couldn't care less. After a considerable wait, they established they could not fulfil my order and tried to sell me an alternate sized item. Why would I buy something that doesn't fit? Upon indicating that it was unacceptable and that I would be complaining, I was told "that's fine, no problem mate" in a sarcastic manner as he walked off. No attempt was made to look at other stores or online for the item I had ordered and dismissed the case with a refund. Item no out of stock online which I could have purchased from at the time of order. Disgusting customer service and shopping experience. Definitely one of the worst I've experienced. My advice is to buy elsewhere whenever possible unless you want to be insulted, experience frightening levels of customer service, and leave without what you went in there for.

Shocking company to deal with. Ordered in stock items with a 14 day delivery time (according to their website). 21 days later still no Conrad t from their supplier. I 'phoned Wickes 8 times over the course of 4 days and not one me ever of their customer service department had the courtesy to call me back as promised. I've had no choice but to cancel the order and request a refund. Don't be tempted to buy from Wickes. They will let you down and they won't care.

I spent a little over £22K on 2 bathrooms with Wickes. I think that the design process and the things that actually arrived were all fine. But it was entirely ruined by the Wickes installation. The behaviour of the Wickes installers was appalling, particularly in terms of their covid-unsafe practices but also because they were just lazy and sloppy. It was like a disco here for 5 weeks with their radio blaring, they made every inch of my home, drive, garage and lawn filthy with plastering and grout mess and they worked 8.30 to 2.30 max per day. But, you could live with that if things were done OK at the end right? They were not. My blind grandmother would have done a neater job with the sealant. The worktops joins are bad enough that I'll be lucky if they last 12 months. Apparently I chose difficult mosaic tiles so its my fault that they look like they belong to a buck toothed hill billy. The 'cabinets' that the cisterns are built in to are so wonky that the gaps go from 2mm to 35mm in just 2 feet. The list is very very long and painful. I tried to complain but the 'remedy' is to send back the same shaved ape (Wickes installer) who made the mess in the first place. Everyone I spoke to and showed photos to at Wickes (a) tried to make it a me v Wickes installer conversation that had nothing to do with Wickes and (b) avoided being caught admitting that they were shocked by the poor outcome while sympathising that I had not had the proper Wickes experience. I will pay someone else to fix the mess rather than have that Wickes installer on my property ever again.

Went to the Poole depot to schedule a bathroom design and installation. Staff seemed pleasant and helpful. Booked a design visit and they got the day and time wrong. Rescheduled and then the "car broke down" 1 hour before he was supposed to visit us. Went to a different Wickes store. Couldn't see anyone for 2 weeks and they promised they would fit the bathroom before Christmas. Then after everything they told me they can't install until after christmas. Given up with them now. Gone elsewhere. The only attractive thing about them is the finance option. Waste of time I could have used someone else and had it done before christmas.

Signed up to have a new bathroom fitted and paid the deposit as I was told the installation team would contact me the following day. Then heard absolutely nothing. Emailed to chase a few times and either didn't get a reply or was told it would be "hopefully soon". Expensive, incompetent staff, dreadful/nonexistent service. Fortunately, we were able to cancel in the nick of time. My advice would be to go anywhere but Wickes.

Kitchen plans etc agreed and deposit paid Nov 2019 - still not finished - finance company now want payment (1yr deferred interest period ends oct) Several minor issues with fitting (price of which seem to increase daily!!) but main problem was half way through advised they couldn't fit kitchen as designed - problem with the plans. This was a major issue as design was only reason I chose Wickes - could no longer have place to eat in kitchen - semi circular breakfast bar was replaced by a straight'shelf, not deep enough even to hold newspaper and chip off coffee! As old kitchen removed and new basic structure in place I couldn't do anything about it. This also meant that more wall, floor etc needed 'finishing' but they wanted more money to do this. Wickes guy came round and agreed that it should be finished at no extra cost and sent new fitters. They discovered several fitting problems that I hadn't noticed (as was concerned with the design) so ordered 10 new parts. These have been blocking my hall since March. Even taking account of Virus precautions - this remedial work should have been completed (or at least stated) by now. Finance co say I need to repay unless Wickes ask them to defer but trying to get hold of anyone to deal with this is virtually impossible.

OMG, how I wish I had looked at these reviews before I bought my kitchen. Well no that’s wrong the kitchen is beautiful it was the contractor that fitted it that was the problem and I still don’t know why I had to pay him separately, as well as them for fitting. I used the Wisbech Wickes. There is no I mean absolutely no after sales service customer service is non existent especially when you complain. Below are some of the issues. Sink plumbed in running up not down so water overflowing into the unit and down the back I had to get fixed. Slow close doors and drawer bits fall off on a weekly basis after having repaired by the contractor I’m fixing weekly by myself. Worktop edging fell off after two days repaired but not very well. Gas capped live with my house filling up with gas until it was capped. Electric cooker cooks fast one side and not the other. Electric induction hob sounds like a plane going off if more than one plate running. Extraction hood does nothing at all waste of money. Had to prop up the backs of the shelves with wood in the larder as they hold no weight. Behind the splash back plastic bags put over the electrics and holes left open. Pipe work for radiator jammed so far to the wall couldn’t get skirting board on. It took the credit company as a go between to get the minor jobs done but I have to get in touch with the electric company to get all other issues fixed they are only a few months old. I have pictures but can’t upload. If anyone is thinking of having a kitchen from Wickes by all means have it but please do not have their contractors get your own.

My wife and I popped into the Edinburgh Gorgie branch at 5.15pm on Saturday to enquire about getting a kitchen designer to visit a block of flats we had just purchased. I also needed to buy 27 containers of paint while I was in. I went online before visiting to check that they had enough in stock, luckily they had more than enough according to their website. When we got there, my wife headed over to see about booking a kitchen designer visit and I went to get the paint. There wasn't a single container on the shelf, so I went to the checkout at the door and asked a girl with black hair and tattoos where this type of paint was. She replied "If it's not on the shelf, there isn't any". To which I replied, "But I saw online that you have lots in stock?". She retorted "Yeh, it's probably up on the rails" (or something like that). I asked "Ok. could someone get me 27 tins please?" Her reply was "At half five on a Saturday??? We are going home shortly!" (It wasn't half five, it was 5.15pm). I didn't realise that there was a time deadline for purchasing tins of paint. I went and got my wife, drove to B&Q at Hermiston Gait, got all the paint, a few members of staff even helped us load it onto the lorry and my wife booked the kitchen stuff. Sorry Wickes, but your lazy member of staff has cost you just over £14,000 and she has handed B&Q a lifelong business customer.

Ordered building materials from their outlet in Eastbourne on the 16/09/20 and delivery was scheduled for 19/09/20. Few hours after order was placed, had a call to inform me that none of the building materials were available for delivery. In fact , found out from customer services that they did not link the order to the delivery guys hence it was not possible to book any slot. Must say the transaction was processed by the outlet manager together with another member of staff. One would think of a degree of competency at that level which caused me a lot of grief as I had to go back there from Brighton to get the cancellation processed as I paid by a reloadable gift card. All this could been avoided if they knew what they are paid to do. Customer Service could be more pro active and able to resolve these sort of problem.

They still haven't resolved the delivery issue from the 19th June, they just mess you about and dont care - customer services is zero and customer relations is minus 10 - I will never use them again if they were the last company on earth

I bought and paid for roofing materials also paying extra for a Saturday delivery and was assured my goods would be delivered between 8am and 1pm. When they had not arrived by 12.50 I telephoned the store to be assured they would be delivered but it could be up to 6pm. At 4.30pm I got a call to say they could not be delivered until Monday but I could get my delivery charge refunded if I rang customer services. I tried this but gave up after 20 minutes. No one cares if you are satisfied or not. I was even told that I should not have arranged for workmen until I had received my delivery. Shows how much confidence they have in their system. I was offered a £10 gift card because I made so much fuss but I declined this as I have no intention of ever visiting this store again.

I ordered a kitchen sink on 7th August 2020 along with a base unit. The base unit arrived within 2 days as arranged so no problem there . I had expected the sink to arrive with it and when I checked the order details it said the supplier for the sink would email within 28 days with a delivery date - was a bit shocked but thought I may not have read the small print so dutifully waited the 28 days for delivery date( thought that was too long but at that point I had time to wait) I call at 30 days to customer services and they would chase it up and let me know - nothing! called several times since and still nothing- I am now totally ticked off!!!! I'm afraid I would have given - minus stars but you don't get that option!

Sell you stuff online that's not in stock and their customer services after the fact are rubbish. Have used them for years, will not be using them in the future.

Terrible customer service, fraudulent and they dont publish bad reviews on their website Ordered a window, arrived in 2 days but without sill and handle which said to be included in description. I triple checked the description during the process of chasing the complaint. They initially fobbed me off with we are contacting the supplier. Eventually customer services got back to me (three weeks later), saying the sill and handle werent included. I checked the desctiption again and low and behold, its changed, no mention of the sill and handle. I have reported this to trading standards, if anyone has a similar complaint i recommend doing the same. Oh and also, Wickes dont publish 1 star reviews left on their website.
