Tried to order some building materials today, cost over £400, put all my details in, including bank details, and placed the order. Only to receive a message say there was something wrong with the payment and I would have to order it again. Luckily I remembered that this had happened about 5 years ago as well so checked my bank account before placing the order again and they already took the money. Contacted customer service and was told my money won't be refunded for the next few day's. Unbelievable! They take your money without the order going through, keep it for a few day's (no doubt they earn interest from it) and then pay it back! What happens if you really need money to finish off a job before getting paid.... you have to wait for it to be refunded. Absolutely disgusting company and will never use again!

I have received multiple delivered orders from Wickes. Generally the quality of the products are quite good for the money. What is however very frustrating and something they need to fix is the fact that it is very rare for an order of multiple items to be delivered in one batch. My latest experience of this has put me off for good. A basic order of some items to build some garden fencing - started as two deliveries on the same day. OK. Then it became 4 deliveries on 3 different days. Then the 4th delivery never arrived. Still nothing after 3 interactions with customer services. Very poor and I can't start the work!

I made an order, basin unit. It arrived faulty as one of the door was missing. First, I sent a message which it was no reply in 24 hours. I thought perhaps they will be quite busy and it's better to call them instead. First, when my call was attended, I was attended by a gentleman, Mr Gordon, which he told me they don't send single pieces and they will send me a new whole unit and take the missing piece. Then, they will re-arrange a date to pick it up the remain. They had to charge 1p which I was happy. The credit card details gave problem as my bank seemed blocked online activities when they detected it was used from other system. Finally they agree I would have it on 29th of March (2021). I didn't receive any item nor notification. I called the customer service again and then they told me they will send me the single piece (when I was told they don't send single piece at first. I was happy anyway as I just want to complete my unit). They will contact to the manufacturer and they will let me know. Now I am waiting more than 1 month and the door still didn't come. When I contact to customer service, I have to wait about 10 - 15 minutes to be attended. The answer tends to be the same. I will contact to the manufacturer to see how is going on. I hold on a couple of minutes and then they tell me they are not available, sent them a message and will be in contact with me. (1 month already with the missing door). Two weeks ago I received a message from a staff via email saying that the door will be available at the end of the week. I thought: Finally!! Guess what? I didn't receive any call, message further, after that. I called again today to the customer service, waiting long to be attended and the answer was the same. They tried to reach the manufacturer but it was not possible and sent them a message. I may have an answer on Monday. Great, Wickes. You're advertised like 'Let's do it right'. Seriously? How can I trust Wickes after experiencing that. Really unhappy and disappointed. The order number is (HY)645578496 for verification

We ordered a kitchen supplies and fitted. Cost us 13k. After 3 months waiting. They couldn't deliver all our goods. They fitted half the kitchen and left another half. We had to wait another 2 months. Very poor installation. Wish we didn't go with them.

Kitchen was great. Bathroom has been appalling. I believe they've installed the shower tray incorrectly. Mastic and grouting was missed off around the shower enclosure and at the top of one the walls. They didn't secure the loo to the floor. They've put up wall tiles that were cracked, misprinted or chipped. The loo seat has broken, as has the click clack in the sink, the tap leaks, the u-bend also leaks, 'blowing' the shelves in the cabinet below. But, worst of all, when filling in gaps in the bathroom floor left from removing the bath and pipework, they used untreated fibre board! This has absorbed water (and continues to do so as I'm still trying to get them to sort out the issues 18 months later) from the leaking u-bend. As a result there is now a square metre of the floor in imminent danger of giving way. The flat is currently occupied by a young woman and her 2-year old. If they, or anyone else falls through the floor I will be suing Wickes's asses off!

Terrible service from Wickes. Was given a delivery date - they cancelled delivery the day before. A week later on next provided delivery date - no delivery. Next day Customer Service emailed to say that I would receive a telephone call by 4:00pm. No phone call, no contact, no excuse. Two days wasted to go along with the two weeks of nothing! Their Website shows "Delivery from AINTREE Store These item(s) have been delivered". If Wickes read this, cancel and refund right away. Citysprint (courier) just as bad - switched off tracking map when they knew they wouldn't deliver - never a thought to let customer know.

I would ask why wicks even have a review platform, not complaining about the kitchen and bathroom we had installed looks really nice, a few outstanding bits to finish off, still waiting for parts that were damaged, now we have a second leak in the shower, customer and after sales service is an absolute joke, constantly being fobbed off, passed to many others over the phone, huge amount of rubbish left on the drive, no one we have spoken to have a clue who does what, should have read the many shocking reviews on line first, quick enough to take your money, constantly have people with torches at night going through the rubbish that should have been taken 2 weeks ago, just getting ready to go to the store for more fobbing off (what a joke)

Door delivered a day late and when it finally arrived it was the wrong door, too small and not the same Part Number. We were asked to keep the door somewhere safe and they would collect 3 days later between the hours of 7am to 7pm. If sitting in 2 days wasn't enough in one week. No refund until they received their error back and no replacement available for a further 2 weeks, refunds also take 2 weeks to process seemingly. One of their call representatives was extremely rude and laughed at us. 1st and last time we attempt ordering anything from Wickes.

Been looking for one of these purchased from wickes showing in stock for collection so paid for item. and waited for text to collect. but later i was refunded for item. total waste of my time as you are selling stock you don't have. so later in the day i searched for item on google and wickes came up again. so thinking my first refund may have been an error i purchased and paid for the item again. as they were clearly showing in stock and my thought was wickes would have removed item from there site if not available. and they refunded me some time after purchasing item Again total waste of time dealing with wickes trying to buy Einhell GE-LC 36/35 Li Solo Cordless 36v Chainsaw - Bare i have had many item from store and delivered as i am doing my house up over the next year. but why should i give my hard earned money to a company that dose not care for its customers better of using a company that dose and there are many to chose from MR Wickes.

Complete cowboys. Kitchen is falling apart, problems since day one. Kings Lynn designers and installers not fit for purpose. Now less then a year on it’s falling apart. Refuse to remedy as already been patched up once by their own bodgers! Avoid this awful company. RIM hides behind Covid as he’s too scared to face the ooor workmanship with his own eyes. Joke of a company as you can see by the shear volume of complaints. Carcass now separating below and look how square it is! Not! Wickes say there is nothing wrong.

I ordered on the 6th for delivery on the 9th 1 bucket of mortar was delivered cracked so spilt everywhere. The other 3x sand were damaged before they got to me and returned. Next delivery 22nd ! Tracking service said all items had been delivered. If I hadn’t spent ages waiting for ‘chat’ person I would never have known the situation. Never again!

worst experience ever! Very stressful and distressing experience. Customer chat and customer service are impossible to communicate and deliver any service. my money is still stolen and(or) my product not received for over 3 weeks with no email to confirm anything or any fault and says delivered but nothing received and they said it was damaged and returned. A VERY PAINFUL EXPERIENCE INDEED. SPENT

I use Wickes ( London Rd, Glasgow) every year as I have applied the same Wickes wood care to my decking over the years. I always use the Red Mahogany but two years ago they changed the colour as many of the reviewers complained about. I had taken it back and got £40 a gift card as a refund. I went today to buy for this year and was told the gift card had expired, WHY SHOULD IT NEED TO EXPIRE. When I expressed my disappointment and frustration I was given a ticking off. We had been looking at a new kitchen, guess who is NOT GETTING THE BUSINESS !! Got to say, "I truly hate dealing with this place".

Hello I'm not impressed if you want a 300 unit you get a 600 and the paper work tells you too cut down the back a cut of all most 2000 the plinth has to be cut on inside to give clearance because there is not enough set off. I don't expect to put the wires in a tv when I get it

So. After spending £12000—£13000 on a kitchen from Wickes 2 years ago, we are still left with a hippo bag on our property and a plug socket hanging from the wall. Not to mention the original rushed job (still have photos) as well as other problems from the fitters WICKES hire. visited the store and phoned customer services 30+ times to be told we are priority (in December)... STILL waiting. The moral of this story.... Don't buy a kitchen or bathroom and have it fitted through WICKES FAREHAM!!! Next stop CEO of the company, local press and trading standards.

I am not a builder or trader as such, but I found the products and website/prices to be unbeatable. I have ordered so far about 7 times as I recently took on a allotment. What can I say...easy to follow you're order, heads up on times and especially the last order was delivered by Peter...amazing service...polite, professional and willing to help with the delivery. Honestly, from a restaurateur that never ordered building stuff was and I'm sure will be so easy to find what I want for a decent price. Thank you wickes and THANK YOU Peter

Awful customer experience. I ordered a radiator and a shower, at 2pm on the day of delivery, half way through the 7-7 delivery window, I receive a phone call telling me it won't be delivered and they can't tell me when it will be delivered. So I had to cancel the plumber I'd booked and am now playing a waiting game to see when it'll arrive. I'll track my order on their order tracking system, oh wait, no I won't, it's marked as complete and delivered in the order tracking system. What do I have to do to get an update on my order? I have to contact them. Puts the onus completely on me to track my delivery, so a terrible customer experience and a lesson learnt - if it says it's in stock on the Wickes website, it might not be and you won't know when it will delivered. Better order from somewhere else next time to save time and effort.
