We had a bathroom designed & fitted by wicks, weston-s-mare, 2 yrs ago now. Couldn't fault any of it from start to finish & it still looks amazing. Really pleased with the result & wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Delivery service is very very poor and awful. Wasting your time. I haven’t got my orders on time ( two times happened)

Avoid at all costs! Placed an online order August 1st and had option to choose a delivery 5 days later. Waited in and received text update for delivery, partial delivery arrived and was told remaining would come from store. Waited in all afternoon and nothing came and no update at all. Called customer services Next morning and I followed the telephone options only to be told by an automated system some unhelpful advice and the call was terminated! Called again and chose another option and spoke with a human who said he would email the Folkestone store and get back to me. I called Folkestone direct and spoke to an arrogant manager with no customer services skills who said “I don’t know what you want me to say.....it’s human error” Apparently Ashford would be delivering the outstanding items and that was that. Called Ashford and they said the outstanding items would be sent out Saturday, two days later, and again it was human error and Covid.....I explained that I’d already been to store to buy items I couldn’t add to delivery and could have picked up the outstanding items and I had a builder coming Saturday morning and he need the items first thing. No meaningful regret or apology forthcoming. I’ve since tried calling Ashford to arrange collection, picked up call left on the counter for me to listen to a member of staff chatting to others and then following calls not picked up. I’ve shopped at Wickes for years and never known service like this. At a time like this when customers and jobs are the future I’m amazed that this seems to be okay

We shopped at your Tunstall ( stoke-on-trent) store today to buy a kitchen tap. We were very pleased with the cleanliness, organisation and the staff. We have a store that is a lot closer but no where near as good, when we require any other parts we will drive the extra distance for such good service. The store that we think needs some attention is the Victoria Road store.

Terrible service. Ordred several items, everything was apparently in stock and waited for the delivery. Half the items were missing and nobody bothered to inform us either before or afterwards of a stock/delivery issue. Our account still says `completed` and yet we have a delivery note where it says what is missing and yet no refund or any correspondance from Wickes. A really bad company and we won't use them again.

We love Wickes. We decided to buy a new kitchen and invited the store to send a representative to measure up. Great we were very happy with the design. We went back to the store and said we wanted a supply only price and a price for fitting too. What we did not realise that the offer was only on for the fitting which we did not require and that our fairly basic kitchen would cost £6900 or 9k fitted. What a shame Wickes if only that had been as honest as we wanted we would have bought the kitchen when the next offer was on with 50% off units. An opportunity lost and a sale to Homebase that offered a very similar kitchen for £3500 with extras included. We did not get a breakdown of prices until we asked for it and the gas fitting plastering tiling electric charges were ridiculous as no requirement to change the electrics or gas but were still included. Not sure why Wickes have moved to this all in fitment scheme as it is not what some of us want and sales are lost as the units are double the price.

I ordered a kitchen & was told a week should see it fully fitted. In reality it took 2/3 months, endless problems with everything. The workmen are contractors who use nomadic "tradesmen" I foolishly trusted them in my home but they used my sittingroom as a workshop & ruined my carpet, I came home to find my TV on & my magazines in the kitchen. They could not fit out the units/white goods to the proposed plan which resulted in less worktop area. Wickes left the buck with the contractors & the contractors were unprofessional and careless. These are just a few issues I had with Wickes. I sincerely wish i had never dealt with Wickes. I would never recommend them. Do go anywhere else & find a quality kitchen elsewhere as I am neither happy or proud of my expensive disaster.

I would like to give zero stars On 25th July I ordered three items, Wickes decided to split the order and deliver them separately via two different couriers. The delivery date was set for Tuesday 28th. On Tuesday 28th only one item was delivered. I checked the Wickes delivery tracker website and it incorrectly claimed that all three items had been delivered. On Wednesday morning I called Wickes and was informed that the missing items would be delivered by 1pm. They were not. On Wednesday afternoon I called Wickes and was informed that the missing items would be delivered by 7pm. They were not. On Thursday morning I called Wickes and was informed that the missing items would be delivered by 1pm. They were not. On Thursday afternoon I called Wickes and was informed that the missing items would be delivered by 7pm. They were not. On Friday morning I called Wickes and was informed that the missing items would be delivered by 12 noon. No delivery. On Friday afternoon I called Wickes and was informed that the missing items would be delivered by 7pm. I cannot get my goods and I cannot get a refund. They are either a bunch of incompetent idiots or a bunch of thieves.

Tried to track an order that was 48 hours late. Customer service rude and unhelpful on the phone. Email cold uncaring and offered no help. I have paid for the item and still have no item. No delivery date or time either. Shocked at the complete lack of customer service. Avoid, avoid, avoid at all costs. Stick with amazon or Wren. This is my Second issue with Wickes. I had a Kitchen fitted five years ago and don’t have what I ordered and paid for. Never using wickes again!!! This is the first review I have ever written, extremely disappointed, avoid Wickes at all costs.

The sales person was initially very helpful and I was satisfied I had made the right choice going with Wickes Halifax. He produced a computer image and I decided to order all the things on the image. Wickes recommeded the fitter and because I wanted a stress free bathroom I went along with his suggestion. They delivered the wrong radiator and shower and this delayed the start. The cupbard was too big and the doors wouldnt open. They were returned I spoke to the manager who was rude and not helpful but did offer me £50 compenation, which never received. The bathroom is not yet finished nor is it to the high standard one would expect from Wickes. The fitter has been back several times to put things right, but to be honest I expected things doen to a much higher standard. I am still waiting for a cracked tile to be replaced and the fitter is refusing to answer my texts. I complained to the Customer Service Department and had many lengthy emails with them to no avail. I was offered a very small amount of compensation but as the work hadnt been completed I refused. I was told I had received money previously. This was for the returned radiator, shower and cupboard which did not fit!! I ordered my bathroom in July 1919 and the work eventually started in September 2019. I am not the type of person to complain or write reviews let alone bad ones, but we are now in July 2020 and there is still outstanding work to be done. Wickes recommended fitter has let me down badly and so has Wickes. I would certainly not recommend Wickes.

I don't normally leave reviews but felt I had too due to the experience we had. Wickes were very nice and helpful at the beginning until we signed the financial agreement for our kitchen.... After that they just were not interested... I returned to the store in bury greater Manchester to speak to the sales man as the bin that was due to be installed under the sink wouldn't fit . ( Was a design fault) the salesman (usman) was quite rude after being perfectly nice to us when selling the kitchen.. he didn't look us in the eye and said to the cashier just refund it and walked off! I thought that this was very rude.. Another problem was that we were advised by him to not start paying the kitchen off until the 9months interest free was up... Prior to this for months we tried to get in contact with wickes to find out when this was up ...so we could pay the remainder upfront before interest was added. We sent emails...tweeted on social media and tried to contact by phone (1hour) waiting on the phone with no reply... We accept that covid caused problems as people were furloughed..however we did get a tweet back that they would be in touch... but unfortunately this was not the case...Then all of a sudden the money was taken out of my account with interest added. After a stressful day with the financial company we managed to get this sorted. I definitely would not use Wickes again and would not recommend.

Ordered a vertical radiator, which has to be delivered, they have given me a delivery slot of 8am to 6pm have taken the day off work to be in for delivery and they have not shown up or bothered to contact me. I will now have to waste more time chasing this item up. Thanks for-that Wickes!!

Wasted journey! Made a 20 mile round trip to try and purchase some treated redwood. The Wickes web site indicated they had 5 lengths in stock at 1.8mtrs , plus a further 3 lengths in stock at 3.6 mtrs . Arrived at store to find they had absolutely zero stock!! A totally wasted journey. Must be very difficult to have an up to date functional stock checking system in place in 2020!! NEVER BELIEVE THE WICKES WEB SITE WHEN CHECKING STOCK LEVELS!!! Better still go the B & Q instead.

Staff were untrained and very rude. I wanted to collect my order from the Toolstation store within their branch , but they insisted that I queue amongst the hundreds waiting to go into Wickes.

I ordered paint on-line. Some items are missing, others are the wrong size. Can't get hold of anyone to complain.

Ordered online. Received confirmation that the order was successful. Received text message that the delivery will come. Guess what? Never showed up. Got in touch with the CS they said oh you payment didn't go through. WHAT??? Why does the customer has to follow up after the purchase if the payment was successful or not. You are selling, you business to collect the payment anad be proactive rather than reactive. Waisted my time and my builders time. Would not recommend.

Our new kitchen started to be installed mid-March and was half-finished when lock-down came. I was asked to sign it off and pay the full price. They finally came back to finish it when I pressured them but did a really awful job. Counter flush with units one end but not the other end, Gaps in units, gaps in the joins of the acrylic splash-back, plug to fridge concealed so can't be switched on/off and lead so short fridge can't be pulled out etc etc. To add insult to injury they left a huge amount of offcuts and rubbish in the hall. They promised to collect with a hippo-bag but two weeks later it is still there. Trying to get someone to answer the phone is almost impossible - when we did get an answer was promised the regional manager would contact us. Of course, he hasn't and we're still waiting a week later. AVOID this company like the pandemic.

kitchen experience, start to not finished, stressful. patio slabs delivery experience, how can something so simple be so difficult. I cant recommend wickes.
