ABSOLUTLEY SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RETURNS POLICY, Argos do not care about customer satisfaction. I purchased a tv and it was faulty, returned it and got an exchange no problem. However the same make and model tv had the same fault, I called Argos to tell them about the fault and was told to return the tv, and i would be entitled to a refund or exchange. So I returned it again, this time to be refused a refund or exchange, because it falls out of their 30 days return policy. I was then told my only option was to have them send it away for repair, and this could take up to 16 days, 10 days later I've heard nothing, not even an update of any kind. I have made several calls expressing my dissatisfaction with all of this, and have been continuesly told different thing by Argos, nothing has been resolved, all I wanted was a refund on a faulty tv that was only 2 months old and well within warranty. You DO NOT get the same customer rights at Argos as you do with AMAZON or ASDA and other retailer's. Just remember if you purchase something from Argos and it is faulty or developes a fault, it is not as simple as returning the item like at most other good retailer's. They do not care about their customer's, and I will not be buying from Argos again, and would seriously advise others not to.

Please don't ever collect the Argos card it is used to reap you off your hard earned money especially if you are the type who don't check your balance regularly. I was charged £32 extra for a £85 balance which I actually paid two days late according to them but for bank delays. I am paying them off asap and shedding the stupid card to pieces.

Bought a pair of beats by dre head phones two pair costing me £200 on a deal, on getting these and finally trying them out a couple weeks later i find the product of poor quality for the high price, the volume is not good at all and very low when at its full, i could still hear background noise over them when in use i found it very frustrating with my mental health issues to use and wanted to return, but due to being used and being just a week outside the date for returns im refused this which i find an outrage, i explained i took the time to complaint to who i thought i had to go to about this issue and went to beats who ended up ignoring my messages and emails i then tried to speak to apple who found out have bought them from beats, i tried to talk about the issue and they ignored me too, when i finally gave up and found my receipt which i couldnt find it at the start of it all and wanted to return them and save the frustration and disappointment. but in trying to do this ive been refused and pushed away like my custom means nothing. this is not my only issue ive had in past with argos so this kind of adds to things and makes me no longer want to shop there. i have mental health issues and this is effecting my autism and Asperger's, i tried to raise complaint about this with argos and they dont want to know and have brushed this to the side not wanting ton resolve it forced to seek 3rd party help. ive lost a lot of faith with argos recently and think they have gotten bad lately, ive had many returns due to faulty products had complaints about how i was treated in store on occasions, ill be staying away from argos now. they have taken advantage of a vulnerable person here and this is whats made me cross. they dont seem to care less i have mental health issues which can impair how i act and go about things daily.

I've been a loyal customer now for 10 years plus using the Argos store card, and by error for the first time I missed my payment by 9 days, consequently having a heavy interest added. My request to have this waivered due to loyalty and value of purchases made was dismissed instantly with a well its your fault, so tough luck. I escalated and now after 3 emails over a month and no response finally called today and got through to Rachel who has lied regarding receiving the emails stating she only received one and was just getting around to replying! Understand my error, but expected more from such a big company, but maybe that's where the big boys are failing and falling from our high street, as the service is not to the level you'd expect. Paid now and closed my account, so taking my business elsewhere.

Argos failed to deliver my mum's order THREE times. THREE times! She waited each time, and no one even informed her that the item wasn't going to arrive. How is that possible? She's wasted 2 days waiting for her items. Only good thing is that it's quick to get through to Argos on LiveChat, but it's completely pointless at the same time because they can't solve the problem. The only thing they suggest is rebooking the item! Well.. there's no 4th time lucky here. Statistics would suggest that the 4th time isn't going to succeed either. 0% success rate. 1. Why is the item able to be rescheduled when it obviously can't be delivered? 2. Why aren't we informed when the delivery fails? 3. Why can't the help desk do anything about it other than suggesting rebooking it for failure again? 4. Who's going to compensate my mum for her two wasted days? 5. We needed two emergency guest beds which we now don't have. What do we do? Thanks for nothing Argos. Suggestion to everyone: Don't buy from Argos unless you don't mind the items never arriving. Your very specific 3 hour delivery slot means nothing.

Fridge Freezer - crack on door. After trying every avenue to get through first by phone then by chat - i was referred back to a telephone number for white goods that told me i needed an authorisation code and put me back on hold and in cues for the same number that was for TVs Tec-support and more passing the buck. 1 HOUR later a gentleman finally helped my and called me back to say that Argos would not deal with any fault claims on an item 7 months old and i would need an independent report - as it was cosmetic. Cosmetic when the most used part develops a crack - i don't think so! Well done Argos for wasting my Saturday morning..

Argos home retail Group. I took out a loan in 2004 they tried to tell me that I decided to take advantage of the repayment protection insurance. As this company wasn’t regulated until the 14th of January 2005 hey are happy to refuse upholding complaint. has no evidence of me deciding to take this product on I believe it was just added to the policy. Tried to tell me that I had 30 day right of cancellation which I did but this was given to me after sale which is standard practice with PPI This was offered on St Andrews insurance paper work. As I cannot take resolution through the financial ombudmen service it is now being referred to a Small Claims Court in due course.

Appalling service and follow up. Waited all day for a delivery of a unit for the kitchen, it did not arrive. No phone calls,no text nothing i rang they said the van had a transmission fault. They said they would deliver up to 10pm when I rang. That did not happen.. Rang the following day early to find out when it would be delivered they said in 6 more days and that was my only choice. The person I spoke to said I was moaning. I asked to speak to a supervisor he said they wouldn’t come. Still waiting for the item. !!!!!!

Wanted to purchase a Vax vacuum cleaner here in Dublin. Curry's had it for 169euro. Argos had identical product for 219 euro, a full 50 euros more! As my local Argos is more convenient I phoned and asked if they would match the Curry's price. They refused. Naturally I went to Curry's. I will certainly be checking prices before I return to Argos next time.Fifty euros is a lot of money for me to give away.

I ordered a washing machine to be delivered on the 23rd January (Yesterday). I selected all day delivery (7am-6pm). Recieved a text message on the 22nd and the morning of the 23rd to say that it would be with me between 2pm-4pm. It had gone by 4 and no delivery and no calls to say why. As the all day went to 6pm I politely waited, giving leniency for delays. Passed 6 and still no word. I went onto their live chat to them be told that there had been a problem with the lorry and they could give me NO information, not even whether that day or the next, as to when my order will be delivered. I was told that I would recieve a call to give me a new time/date for delivery. Reaches 19:30, after having cancelled a reservation i went out to go to the local shop and I come across the argos delivery man just as I was reaching the pavement. There was no communication from Argos about any of this except for when I asked them! So much for being told when it would be delivered!

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM ARGOS We placed an order yesterday and paid extra to receive it on the same day! We waited all day at home and didn’t receive anything then had to phone Argos today to see where my item is and they said we delivered it to you and we’ve got your signature. I explained over and over to them that I haven’t received the item and asked them to pick the item up from where ever they left it and they said we delivered to yourself and we take our drivers word over yours. I managed to chase the item out myself and found it way further than my house in a completely different address. I asked for the person who received my item to write a note to prove they received my item not me. Where argos was so sure that they sent it to the right address and they were very unhelpful and gave me such a poor service! I felt rubbish and never would buy from them ever again!! Their customer service is very rude

I am writing to you to raise an issue about: Argos Stores The issue that I have experienced was: We purchased the robot hoover on the 12 of jan it is not working correctly and my husband returned it to Argos in morecambe. He spoke to Vicky Good who was rude and suggested that after trying it in the back for 2 mins that there was nothing wrong with it. Obviously she is not an engineer and we are the ones that have attempted to use it. We wish to return it. It occurred on: 19/01/2019 We want a refund and an apology from Vicky Good who accused my husband of lying.

Went online to purchase a watch for my son for Christmas. I had a gift card typed in the code and went on to pay the remaining balance, then the website crashed. But payment had processed and for some reason charged me twice. I had no confirmation so the booming didn't go through despite them using my card and taking money from my bank twice! So I'm left with a voucher I can't use and I'm money down with no watch. Called them and they said someone will get back to me within 24 hours to refund the money taken from my bank and send me another gift voucher. After a week I called them was on hold for 35 minutes then the lady said someone would call me back that day. Nobody called back. Called again 3 days later to be told the same , she had emailed the refunds team and they would call me back. They did not! Iv been waiting over a month now, no calls, no refund. Absolutely disgusting, bad customer service, and theifs. I won't be shopping at Argos anymore.

Ordered a wardrobe that was damaged when it arrived. Delivery driver did not stop to check it despite pointing out the damage to the box. I did an online chat and the person offered me a replacement the next day but simply refused to offer me a 2 hour delivery slot so I could be there to take delivery. Despite me pointing out this was solely caused by Argos and I had waited in, and maybe a little extra customer service might not go amiss, as I was not asking them to do anything other than delivery within a certain time frame. I now have another week to wait for my item. Motto of this story, if it seems cheap there's probably a reason for it !!

Nothing is ever available for delivery in my area or in store in all the argos' within 15 miles of me. I wouldn't mind but I don't exactly live in a remote location, I must have tried to order at least 15 things and 1 has been available for me to buy.

Not even worth the one star I have to give to write this. Bought an iron in october 2017, not cheap at £59.99 but you would surely expect it to last longer than 15 months. Take it back to the shop, no interest, "nothing to do with us, contact the manufacturers". I thought my contract was with the shop who sold me a product which to my mind should last a bit longer than 15 months. Called the manufacturers and they were even less helpful, so whatever you do DO NOT BUY A BREVILLE DIAMOND 3100w STEAM IRON FROM ARGOS. Always check other stores, even if the initial cost is a little more, if something goes wrong you will probably get more sense and sympathy.
