Can anyone explain to me how the Argos Fast track system is Fast Track? Twice I've ordered on-line to collect instore using the 'Fast track' system and twice I've waited a lot longer than people who have had to look through the catalogue, q to pay then wait for their collection. waste of time.

Apparently Argos do value my custom, that is the message I have been receiving for 37 minutes currently. I accept this is a busy period but waiting for this length of time is very poor call handling by Argos, they clearly have either not resourced adequately for the numbers of calls they have forecast or have chosen a level of customer experience that accepts very poor service. When the answer is not on line it is not unreasonable to be able to speak with someone in less than 40 minutes of waiting. Argos customer Services - if you do review these sites, please respond, with more than 'we are experiencing high call volumes.

Everytime I visit Doncasters Wheatley Hall Road branch there are massive queues, and only one till running. I went today and walked out, it was ridiculous. I think they are cutting staff related costs to try and and be more reosonable on prices, but this doesnt give good customer experience. It used to be ok, but I will look to shop elsewhere before resorting to Argos in future. Also, the new system theyve introduced in other Stores, such as Rotherhams Parkgate is a backward step. There are no catologues, no lit up numbers to show when cashiers are free and no place to sit when waiting. One cashier deals with at least 2 customers at a time, and you find yourself cramped up. Whats going on Argos?

Blackpool town centre Argos had poor customer service and staff on the collection point were simply rude and condescending. I left feeling agrevated by my experience definitely not going to that store again. Training clearly needed.

Had a reservation but all self service machines out of order. One person serving on tills, one more dealing with customer service queries. Took more than 5 minutes to serve person at top of queue and at least the same again to deal with others ahead of me in queue. Did ask if more people could be put on checkout but apparently this was not possible. Employees very polite and apologised for delay but also got 'we can only work with the tools we have' platitude a couple of times. Was also advised that the self service machines were out of order at other stores - something to do with a 3 for 2 - surely if it's planned downtime/maintenance, stores could schedule more check out operators. Luckily I examined my four items before leaving as one was smashed to pieces, so then had to wait to be refunded - and to add insult to injury will need to wait several days before the refund wiil appear on my credit card. Overall not a great experience!

Inconsiderate ARGOS driver blocked the car park where my partner lives in Hastings and took his time letting her out and made her late for her work. This was in Hastings at about 1.10 pm today Monday 26th October 2015. Instead of moving the vehicle as requested he argued with her then offered her a "voucher" can you believe! Could have moved the vehicle a few metres to let an obviously concerned woman out of car park but no, fanny'd about and made her late. Poor show Argos.

Not very impressed with argos lately. Ordered two large items from them and was promised a certain delivery date when ordering which argos later refused to stick to. It then took me 4 weeks to get it cancelled and get my money refunded after countless phone calls on my behalf. I also find it very disappointing that argos advertise delivery within 5 days for items that they are unable to deliver within 5 days.

We wanted a 5 shelf canvas/unit, none in Carmarthen so reserved 2 from your Haverfordwest Branch. The lady there was so helpful, said the items were a bit heavy and advised us to take our car around to the back door which we did, everything fine. We then decided we wanted another so ordered it from Carmarthen Branch and collected it today 12/10/2015. My husband took our car around to the back door as we have previously done so many times in the past while I went to pay for the item. The woman who served me (Zeta) was very snappy and told me 3 times to go and move our car otherwise we would have a parking ticket, it was not their car park and they did not take purchases to the back door, it was for deliveries only. I was left to struggle with this shelf unit and carried around the block to the back door of the store where my husband was waiting with the car. This is not the way to do business, if the store has a back door, why is it not used for extra heavy items, there is no parking at the front of the store other than a pay and display car park. it seems to be a case of a couldn't care iess attitude being taken by your Carmarthen Branch Store. Have always bought from Argos as I considered them reliable honest retailers, my opinion has now changed following my recent experience. They disregard the sale of goods act by conveniently being 'unable' to locate your order after a couple of years even if delivered to your home, and even if you provide bank statement details as they state on their website, they won't tell you what the payment was for. They just say they cannot locate your order like a parrot, how convenient.. Don't buy their own brand goods such as Bush as they blow after a few years, and they offer no comeback whatsoever.

My item was dues for delivery on a certain day. I got to work for 7am(start at 9) to wait. I then got a call from the delivery company to say the delivery will not take place as the do not have my item. After 4-5 calls to argos and the delivery company. Argos admitted they did not send the item in time. The customer service team were very rude on the phone telling me I could not do anything about it until the following day as my parcel could still be delivered. But this was impossible as it was still in argos warehouse. Once they admitted this I asked what they were going to do to make this up to me. 'Nothing I am not worthy of compensation' ie vouchers an apology should be enough. Very bad customer service

I ordered a number of items to be delivered on a saturday as I knew i'd be in to receive the order on this day. I waited in all day but no order was delivered. When I checked the online tracking service, it said the courier had tried to deliver my parcel at 5.20pm and had left a calling card. There was no calling card in my mail box and no one rang the bell or my mobile. I rang customer services and was told it would now be delivered on monday which I explained was no good as I would be at work on Monday. My only option was to collect my products in store. When I went into the the store the following day, I was then told that they had to confirm my order with customer services however they couldn't do this until 5pm as their systems were down and as the store closed at 5pm I wasn't going to be able to get my order. I eventually cancelled my order an got a refund. A really bad experience overall and would definately consider going elsewhere in future.

Ordered on-line, showed item in stock at chosen store. Ordered the item, went in 9am next day after receiving text to confirm available & held for a day. (paid for parking etc). Told item not in yet? would be in after 4pm???? asked if there was availability at another local store as needed that day, hence checking on-line for availability. Confirmed available at another store 5 miles away. Traveled to that store, paid for parking again. Got out of car received a text to confirm item waiting at first store I visited!!!!!!! Went on to customer service 'Chat'. relayed the complaint & received stock answer - 'sorry for any inconvenience caused'. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. busy people do not want to have to re-arrange their days around ARGOS, hence ordering on-line to check available & to aid quick pick up. no offer of re-dress for costs of parking , additional travel & time wasted. Don't bother with customer services, they are just as dis-interested. Really unhappy & I don't usually bother to complain, but this wound me up.

Only one thing, you're drivers are good for nothing, and how hard is to call when a package arrives? I bought something for my girlfriend , didnt arrived in the second day so i called, they said no problem we'll cal the driver and call me in max. 24 hours...after 3 days and after 5 calls or something like that because the employees probably did the ghost thing(put the phone on mute till the customer hangs up whatever....), after that they, or she, said the next day we'll send another one no problem, i was home outside all day, in front of the house, nothing, and my girlfriend went back home in iceland that day, i was feeling really "great" after one week of calls and stupid stuff like that, just because of you, or youre drivers or whatever, i wanted to make her a surprise, but..."thanks"

Had a otter an bed which broke read reviews other people had same problem, bought on my credit account told I could only have replacement bed, which I couldn't find one in my price bracket. Called back twice had to say I would go to trading standards which they then offered me gift vouchers. I dont see why they couldn't just credit my account. Shopped with Argos a lot but I future will go elsewhere as my only problem was I hadn even paid for it.

I bought a Bush a127q black washing machine from Argos 10 month ago after a few cycles it started to bang really loud I thought it was down to my kithchen floor being uneven but turns out it was the concrete balance at front of washer had fell out of position and 4 bolts have snapped and left us with no washing machine. After 3 days of trying to get a repair or replacement.Argos's repair team have told me I have to wait at least 5 days for the engineer does not have the bolts to replace it. I would advise anyone looking for a new washing machine stay away from Bush model a127q

Had been having problems with a printer, returned it and took a replacement. After setting up new printer we found it had same problem, the sheet feeder wheels were scoring the surface of the paper and spoiling glossy photos. Took it back again but not before phoning consumer direct to check our consumer rights. To our surprise when we asked for our money back we were given it. So thank you Weston-Super-Mare branch for not turning it into any more of a time consuming issue than it already has been. I have given a poor rating because when I rang Argos helpline about the first printer and was given a query number to quote in the store, I was told by the staff that the numbers given out by the helpline were useless and meaningless as the shop had no way of accessing my query info. If this is true then Argos need to deal with this.
