I have invested more than $128,500, and this unscrupulous company has obstructed my access to my funds for the past two months. Fortunately, a friend referred me to (A/C/T/I/N/V/S/T/L/T/D./C/O/M), and their team effectively helped me recover my money.

I don’t want or expect any of your employees to be disciplined, I’d rather that staff were given deaf awareness training. Two days ago I went to my local Argos store to pick up a pre paid order. I was asked for the relevant e mail details and began to say out loud the numbers that your assistant needed. As I spoke the numbers out loud your assistant said , “I’m just here you know”. I was embarrassed because I have , at times, a loud voice. This is due to me being profoundly deaf and not being easily able to realise how loud I can be. Suffice to say that as I felt truly humiliated , I will never use the Argos pick up service again. I have thought long and hard before sending this email but, for myself and other deaf/ hard of hearing customers, I felt I must inform you of my distress. Be aware that yes, I am an older customer but I am not a fool. I still have feelings that can be hurt. Thank you for taking the time to read this email and should this not be the proper department, would you please pass my comments on to the proper department. Thank you Sent from my iPhone

Delivery and installation ordered and paid for on a dishwasher. Absolutely useless. I installed the dishwasher myself within half hour of them leaving saying they can’t do it. I have never installed a dishwasher before but did it today!!!

Last May 2022 I bought a 32" LG TV. The TV itself is excellent even though its taken me till now to get used to the complicated setup that proved to be very difficult to navigate around. No manual came with it so I was dependent upon its built in menu system. (also complicate). My main gripe has been with the supplied remote control. Previously I was using an older standard 32" LG TV which I have had for around 10 years and the small remote that came with the new TV was exactly the same size with extra buttons. Far too small for what's needed with a smart TV. I found it hard to use, especially in a darkened room. and far to easy to mistakenly press the wrong buttons I learned that what I needed was a magic remote which wasn't available either from Argos or LG I have since found out that other and earlier LG remotes came much larger in size with a much better layout I was surprised that Argos and LG were so unhelpful at addressing this problem. I now have to pay out more money to order the remote that I need. Photo is of both types of remotes together to show the difference

I bought a Spear & Jackson 36v cordless strimmer recently which works very well but when I ask about where I can obtain spare parts I am directed to a site where basic products are out of stock. Also the basic strimmer cord which the machine comes with is of a size and nature that you cannot seem to source it anywhere. Very poor after sales Argos.

I chat with argos online twice, wanted me to answer yes or no, I asked what was the question, they just hung up and left me. I am livid with them over a washing machine which I wanted. Are they stupid people who cant understand english. Right now I want an apology.

Bought a mobile phone but did not like the look of it so did not fully open it. I returned to the shop and was told that mobile phones coud not be refunded which is a load of rubbish when it is hardly open. I told the woman she was wrong and she insisted she was not wrong at all. A supervisor came over and literaly told me he was not sure about it. I was not in the mood for an argument so came home and made a call to the office and was informed that I should go back to the store and give his name and he would get in touch with them to give them the correct facts. I got a refund after all. I do not like buying goods from them as they never just swap or refund an item without trying to make you feel you are an awkward customer. Terrible staff, Grimsby store. They need a smile in their pay packets to wear every day !!

I have been waiting for a call back from customer service, I finally got a call back from you, but I was not given any different choices, basically I got told the same even though it was a higher ranking manager, I was offered a collection and refund and no replacement, and i agreed with this because I could not cope with anymore stress, and also because it took so long for the call back to let me no the decision , I missed out on ordering the same shopping trolley on Argos on eBay and getting it delivered, we have no transport or support nearby not very impressed, and my husband said he had enough stress with this situation

I ordered an item online which was faulty. I took it back to the shop to get a refund but was not able to get my delivery charge back. The item is not in stock in any of my local stores so it looks like I will have to order it again online and pay the delivery charge a second time.

Have bought garden chair all tightly wrapped but now find chair unsuitable (too short for leg support) with Argos demanding goods be returned unopened. Will definitely not buy anything else from Argos if that is the case.

Refuse to deliver because of the steep road have to wait a further two days for a delivery in a smaller size van. Wagons go up and down every day of the week. Very poor the customer service did all they could this driver not for moving, this will be the last thing we buy from Argos.

Argod communication before the order arrived was good- they changed the delivery address with no quibble. The item was delivered on the confirmed day. However when the mattress turned up today, with only one of the two men delivery team carrying it from the van, they refused to take it upstairs saying 'we don't do that' despitethe website saying they deliver large items to a room of your choice. So me and my husband had to do it This looks like is the standard lazy delivery driver excuse. What happens if you are on your own. I doubt I will order from them again - especially as they charge for delivery.

Ultimately, I would not recommend either a particular Bush oven (Model no. BBDBL60ELW), or purchasing large electrical items from Argos if you need it to have a longer lifespan than 1yr and 2.5wks. Bush electric cooker (£269.99), oven section stopped working 2.5 weeks after warranty ended, leaving a 75yr old, in sheltered accommodation, with no working oven. The oven section has been rarely used. Aftersales (Argos/Bush quoted £89.99 for call out, PLUS, additional costs for parts. Argos Resolution Team, declined to apply any discretion to carry out a repair (a replacement was not being asked for), and said to obtain an independent report to say that the product was faulty at time of purchase, and then they would look at repair or replacement. All of this required, from a vulnerable adult, during a pandemic and imminent lock down! It is not expected for them to be a charity but, goods sold should be of sufficient quality and, a bit of compassionate action, given the whole of the circumstances, would not cost them much or damage business.

Purchasing is easy. Impossible to cancel an item or use webchat or messaging to sort out any problems.

Ordered a mattress which was delivered on time. After only one night I used live chat after waiting 21 minutes. Phone cut me off.! I asked if I could have a replacement alternative which was £400 more. The order was taken by Benjamin ( I have the transcript) and I was told someone would call to do payment with 48 hours. It is now 5 days later and no one has called so, I have bought a new mattress elsewhere and will never use Argos online again. I will put the rubbish mattress I bought down to a bad experience. Awful customer service , blamed no doubt on Covid, but in fact seems to be a don't care attitude.
