“The company refused to seek a refund from Virgin for a downgraded flight I had in August. You should avoid this agent if you are booking a flight from Australia as there is no consumer protection laws available if things go wrong”
“Booked a flight for my sister they typed one letter wrong on the actual ticket my sister just missed the flight because airline wants budgetair to correct the mistake for her to be able to fly. Budgetair is not reachable, chatboy is useless and Faq on the website refers us to make the change on My Trip section and My Trip section keeps saying oh something went wrong.”
“They are nothing but blood sucking leeches.......
Booked a ticket. Accidently picked wrong date. With in 5 minutes reached back to them. Airline did not charge anything, but THESE suckers charged $110 per ticket. For changing to the right date (only return flight) they were asking $235 per ticket.
Absolutely disgusted.”
“I have two dissipute issue with Budget airline booking.
1. I booked my flgit ( with retun flight) for Vistara using skyscanner website using Budget airline Uk agent booking. In skyscanner, budget airline showing cheap pricce in Euros currency. But when i booked my fligh and did payment using my credit card then they deduct in pound from my bank account. It means amount sowing in euros but deduction in pound. Which is purely dissipute and cyber crime.
2. During my return flight Delhi to Frankfurt (which will be on 20th), i have some health problem. So i want to cancel my flight. I already taken a hooper service means i can canel my ticket any time ( before checkin). For that i already paid extra amount 123£ to budget airline. Now today (19th), i want to cancel my Return journey. But budget airline saying, your policy is expired , you cannot cancel your journey. If you cancel your journey, you will not get any refundable amount. This is completely making fool to customer amd trust.it also dissiputes, they are not stands on their cancellation policy.
These above two point prove that Budget airline is making dissiputes and cyber crime with customer.”
“Absolutely disgusting, they will not help you with anything even if it was their mistake, they will make YOU pay for it. Costly mistake to make. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.”
“Booking was ok but for issues like airline schedule changes or anything that you need to deal with. Zero options for reaching customer care. Have to wait for days to get reply email only. You will be left with zero help. Look for other who has custom call center or non-bot based chat support. The bot chat they have is useless. It has only few options to choose. Useless..”
“We booked through Budgetair for our 2 week trip to Japan and had the absolute worst travel experience we’ve ever had because of them.
They changed our flight 24 hours before we had to board, and had no explanation or reasoning as to why. We were getting conflicting emails from them and the airlines with different departure times, seemingly because Budgetair didn’t communicate properly to them and moved us to another flight without our consent. They also never issued correct itineraries with all the flight updates/changes, which is why we were confused about our departure time, flight number and getting conflicting emails from the airlines directly.
We have a sneaking suspicion budgetair doesn’t book the tickets until the last minute and will also bump you to a cheaper flight (even though you’ve paid for a more expensive one) and not provide any reasoning as to why as this serves them better in terms of profit. For example, for the flight back home, we originally paid for premium economy. Because budgetair seemingly did not book these tickets until the last minute, premium economy ended up selling out and the airline had to notify us at the check-in gate that we were actually seated in economy.
The communication is EXTREMELY poor. There is no public number you can call in an emergency, the live chat is just a robot, their emails all seem automated and they escalate everything to a “specialised team” that don’t seem to know what they’re doing.
Would highly recommend not using this service, it’s not worth the stress when travelling. Best option is to book through the airline direct even if it’s a few extra dollars - lesson learnt.”
“Title: A Disappointing Journey with BudgetAir
Rating: ★★☆☆☆
My recent experience with BudgetAir left me profoundly dissatisfied and frustrated. While I understand that issues can arise in the travel industry, the lack of effective customer service and the mishandling of my situation made it difficult to find any semblance of understanding.
Initially drawn to BudgetAir by their competitive prices and seemingly convenient booking process, I had high hopes for a smooth and enjoyable trip. Unfortunately, my optimism quickly dissipated when I encountered a significant problem with my reservation.
In my attempts to seek assistance, I reached out to BudgetAir's customer service. While I anticipated a language barrier due to outsourcing, I was disheartened by the difficulty in communicating effectively. The representatives struggled to understand my concerns, and their responses often felt scripted and impersonal. It was evident that they were ill-equipped to handle complex issues, leaving me feeling unheard and frustrated.
The most disheartening aspect of my experience was the prolonged timeline it took to resolve the problem. Over the course of two months, I found myself entangled in a web of bureaucratic processes and delayed responses. Each interaction with BudgetAir's customer service seemed to yield more confusion than clarity, further exacerbating my frustration.
While I acknowledge that resolving such issues can be challenging, BudgetAir's lack of timely and effective communication only served to compound the difficulties I faced. It felt as though my concerns were met with indifference, and I struggled to navigate the convoluted channels of support offered by the company.
In the end, the financial loss I incurred and the mental toll taken during this ordeal were significant. I had hoped for a more understanding and empathetic approach from BudgetAir, considering the impact their mishandling had on my travel plans and overall experience.
I implore BudgetAir to invest in improving their customer service infrastructure, including better training for their representatives and more streamlined processes for issue resolution. A clearer line of communication and a genuine commitment to assisting customers would go a long way in restoring faith in their brand.
In conclusion, my journey with BudgetAir was marked by disappointment and a lack of understanding. While I can comprehend the challenges inherent in the travel industry, the company's ineffective customer service and prolonged resolution process left me feeling dissatisfied and disheartened. I hope that BudgetAir takes the necessary steps to rectify these issues and prioritize customer satisfaction in the future.”
“World worst service. If any one want to get F**k do the business with site , this robot 🤖. Please don't waste you time and money on this garbage site. Better book directly from Airlines and Hotels not much difference and important peace of mind.”
“Do not buy anything from this company. I canceled my tickets which they did but I have yet to see any refund. It’s been two months. I’ve had to deal with PayPal to get my money back. This is a scam company. Do not buy anything from them.”
“Budget Air does not any sense of customer service! if you need any change or if anything happen they have no phone number to reach, their online robotics chat does not work properly or give any conclusive response. Your only option is an email address where they will stand you along for months with zero help provided!
I booked a flight with them and I have been trying for 3 months to change the date of the flight with no success. This is the worst most mediocre travel agency I have dealt with! To be 100% avoided and I learnt my lesson the hard way!”
“For your safety keep away from BudgetAir.
My journey was cancelled by the Kuwait airways because of the engine failure. The ticket cost £2060 (pounds). It has been more than 6 months my money still not been refunded. Every time I contact with Kuwait airways they say that I need to contact with BudgetAir.
When I contact with BudgetAir they reply we are looking into and will take 8 to 10 weeks. My last contact they reply that it will take 16 weeks to result it. They are just trying to get rid of me.
I lost my trust in them.
Try not to book with them they are rippers. Better book airlines direct even cost abit more”
“Booked return ticket- paid all good. Looked at ticket to find the system had overridden my chosen return date..Tried to contact to ask for change - 4 weeks later email telling me to contact airline direct. ofcourse airline will not deal with 3rd party bookings so had to pay for another flight home including connecting flights - Do not deal with them - no staff no contact numbers no issue resolution process THE WORST”
“BudgetAir is the worst travel agency. They will not honor any changes within the first 24hr of booking without charging additional Fee. Right of the bet, you will pay $200 per ticket for any changes. And there prices are $300 to $400 more than other sites. So please don't waste your money on Budgetair.”
“budgetair.com is a big huge scam,
I cancelled a ticket before 24Hrs window ended, after 5 days no full refund from the website yet,
Beware, they're big scammers.
My mistake I should continue with same airline to book, just because of couple of hundred saving now I have to see when they refund my money back.”
“I bought four tickets and could not travel..I contacted them to cancel and was promised a future flight (I had all the info in an email). When I contacted them, they were charging a more expensive fee than buying new tickets. It is a total scam.”
“DO NOT USE BUDGETAIR
BudgetAir.com changed my ticket 3 times.
I just find out when BudgetAir changed my ticket which I did not agree to, in the new ticket my connection flight is through two different airports in New York. There is no way for me to move from La Guardia airport to JFK to catch my flight in traffic in 1.30 min. I am losing my hotel reservation and another flight reservation in Bangkok, plus one month off work and...
When I bought my ticket, I had 25 kg suitcase allowance, they changed it to just a carry on.
They want to charge me another $70 to cancel my flight.
They have no phone number. Furthermore, they are bully and put you in situation which you cannot do anything but agree to them. Not only that, but they should not be allowed to work in north America.”
