“I was banned from all chats for asking the customer where is she from. This unleashed hell. Their chat bots are saying the same thing, no matter what I'm asking. "48 hours, have a great day." It's been 3 days now, still banned, their "customer service" said "we decided 48 hours haven't passed yet." I'm unable to talk to any of my customers, losing sales and patience. Stay away if you can, the worst customer service I've encountered in my life. As soon as I sell my few items I'm out.”

“They sent a payout of mine to a closed account and now they won't pay me for the item I sold. The bank has that the money was sent back to them but they will not help me or pay me, they just ripped me off!!!! I've been trying for months to get paid!!!”

“I sold an item on Vestiaire. The buyer claimed that they did not receive the item although it had been allegedly received. I sent proof of postage and therefore, they investigated. Today I realised that the “sale was cancelled” with no email and no explanation whatsoever. I emailed the customer service and 6 hours later no replies (although they said they were looking into my -second- enquiry and they would get back to me in “minutes”. So no explanation, no refund nothing… Know that those people charge huge amount of fees to the seller and to the buyer too. The price that the buyer sees is NOT what you see as a seller. So you regularly get messages from buyers who want to buy let’s say your item and send an offer at £100 when your full price is at £90. THE CUSTOMER IS SHOCKINGLY UNHELPFUL. And I had countless issues with them.”

“Their editing program totally messed up the picture, it made it look like the item was torn, customer service refused to do anything, apparently all done automatically. No choice but to delete the item and upload again, then the killer, now they can't authenticate it, the same item, and they claim to be experts? I wonder in what? Shady company”

“They are totally ridiculous, I removed an item to list it again with better pictures as their stupid editing had removed most of the dress and made it look like it was a top in the 1st picture, so I listed my item again, all of a sudden the total incompetent banana peelers they claim are experts could not verify the authenticity of the dress. It is now the 3rd time that it happened. Are they all just dumb or super incompetent? This site is turning into a total and utter joke”

“I sold an item to a customer. Then two minutes later I sold another one. I packaged and posted them only to discover one of the items had been deleted from my sold messages. It was showing as still for sale in my account!!! So the customer paid for one item and got the other item for free!! Total scam!!! I reported it and never heard back from VC! When I tried to contact the customer there profile had gone blank and they didn’t exist!! Somewhere someone is enjoying a very expensive item for free!! I guess it’s but one get one free!!! DO NOT USE THIS APP!!”

“I bought a Chanel wallet from them. I was not aware of their buyer protection policy. The bag was marked delivered but I never received it. They asked for my ID, a written statement, and etc. I provided all the info and they asked for 7 days for investigation. Must be a joke on their end. No follow up emails from them until I messaged on the last day. They came back and said there’s nothing they can do. There was no insurance on the expensive item and no tracking proof that it was delivered. DO NOT SHOP FROM THIS SITE. Horrible customer service and policy.”

“They keep rejecting authentic items with pictures of all details, labels, tags e.t.c. Meanwhile their website is full of cheap and ugly looking Chinese copies. How is it possible?”

“The worst customer care ever. The team who “check” what items will be uploaded for sale is either blind or totally careless so customers can loose their money when they buy something and afterwords want to resell it.. When they dont like what you are saying they just… deactivate your account!”

“This is the worse company I ever dealt with! Do not use! They claim they sent an item June 9th. It’s August 5 and 5hey continue to. Lain “it’s on its way” and refuse to issue me a refund. I have contacted the BBB of NYC to help me get my money back. I can send communication if requested which is more than 20 pages! Awful!”

“I have had good experiences with Vestiaire collective both buying and selling over the last 5 years. However, I recently purchased a pair of lace up shoes listed as Prada. When the shoes arrived, they looked fake, and I found a "made in China" stamp on them. I further had them authenticated by "Awethentigreat.com" who agreed they were fake. I immediately contacted Vestiaire, who agreed to take them back to reexamine them. I emailed them photos of the made in china stamp and the results of the Awethentigreat authentification. This morning I learned that Vestiaire has refused my refund request and relisted the fake shoes on my seller page. When I contacted Vestiaire, they said that they have already given the seller the payment and so I cant get a refund. Note that this was an "Expert Seller" on vestiaire, and the Seller still has this badge. I have just closed my Vestiare account. Most of the time, things work fine, but if you get a counterfeit item, Vestiaire isnt going to refund your money. The customer service is awful. I lost 120 euros, which is bad, but please be careful if you buy something really expensive on this site.”

“VC experts team FALSIFIED MY PERSONAL DATA!!!!!! they made additional email , which i never did , someone still receiving my personal information and offers from my VC account and its 2 month already im writing to Support team every day for help! they just desactivated my account for me, but VC STILL USING MY PERSONAL DATA ILLEGALLY!!!”

“SCAM and ZERO customer support. The bag I purchased was damaged but was advertised as used with no signs usage. the seller clearly GLUED the strap onto the bag; however the seller ELIZA nor VESTIAIRE would acknowledge the fraudulent activity. Do not buy anything from ELIZA. She will ghost you once you pay for the item. She also did not send the dust cover for the bag which she had previously said was available with the bag. When I reached out to offer to pay for the shipping she ghosted me. Then I realized the grommet which holds the strap was GLUED onto the side of the bag, she had already ghosted me so there was no follow up from ELIZA. Vestiaire would not acknowledge any wrong doing nor take the bag back because I reported this 10 hours past the 72 hour return policy. Well, the strap didn't fail until I tried TO USE THE BAG.”

“Beware as a seller! VA take much too long to resolve issues. I shipped an item to a lovely purchaser and it was delivered 10 days ago to the incorrect address and VA still have not resolved this issue. Appalling customer service. Constant line is that they'll resolve within 48 hours. And still they haven't. Will avoid from now on.”

“They have suspended my account saying I’m selling counterfeit goods which is 100% not true. Don’t buy from this site they have no experts that they claim to have. This site is filled with fake jewellery from aliexpress…if it has a S925 stamp on it o wouldn’t buy because it’s usually all fake from China. I added photos of a ring I found on Vestiaire collectives profile and the same ring is on aliexpress, same photos.”

“I bought a pair of pumps which were supposed to be pretty new ( said the description). I received a pair of very used shoes and VC refused me to return them to the vendor and refund me. Very bad company, not serious. Be careful!”
