1351 County Highway 152 Hamilton, AL. 35570 August 17, 2024 205/412-1180 Dear AT&T, You have possessed the outstanding reputation of dependability, of honesty as well as of superior service in my opinion and the general public’s viewpoint during your wireless service for previous several years. PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THIS POSITIVE REPUTATION. You have not only been unfair to us as customers; you have committed in my humble opinion insurance fraud. Please clear up this unjust situation. Approximately six or seven years ago, we purchased an iPhone 11 Pro for about $1,100. Then added insurance which we have paid approximately $1,400 at the present $17 monthly rate for these years for this insurance. This amounts to about $2,500. On Thursday, August 8, 2024, we reported a damaged iPhone. On the proceeding Monday, you sent us a USED iPhone 12 refurbished replacement device while also charging us $149.00. Today, we can purchase this 256GB iPhone 12 for $256 from Walmart. This is FRAUD. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED IN OUR GOOD FOLKS AT AT&T. Therefore, I attempted to get help online for a couple of hours. Hopefully, I thought if I contacted a real person I would understand better, or they would actually understand me more efficiently. Substantially, I was on the iPhone one hour and 31 minutes speaking to representatives who had a terrible foreign accent. I am 70 years of age with a spinal cord injury. Life is HARD. When a person pays insurance, they expect to get a new device free. We do not want this USED iPhone 12 Pro; thus, we desire to return this used iPhone and search for a reputable company. I have filled out numerous BAD feedbacks for AT&T and will continue unless you replace our insurance claim with an new updated phone worth the same as the $1,100 iPhone we originally purchased and the entire $149. This letter will be forwarded to every supervisor, boss, chairperson, AT&T vice-president and president etc. I can contact. Your cooperation in this unfair matter will be appreciated. God bless you as well as open AT&T eyes of their mistakes of taking unfair advantage of the little man. Patsy Jo Ray 205/412-1180.

Giving this company a star pains me, but it's the lowest option available. We have been paying insurance for over 18 months...had an issue with our iphone, and we can either wait 8 days for a repair person to attempt a repair or pay $275 deductible for a replacement. Mind you, ATT has $0 options as replacements. Assurion is a scam and provides no insurance whatsoever.

One of the worst companies to deal with my husband's phone was completely destroyed and we filed a claim it was denied because there was not voice, text, or data usage well duh the phone was destroyed. Will look for third party insurance if there is any before ever going through them again

This company does not deserve even one star but it's the lowest score available.

They ship out defective "refurbished" products! My moto z4 screen started getting burned out pixel lines within 24 hours of getting it. Those lines continued to spread as time went on and then the screen started lifting off, separating, on the same side the lines started. I called to try and get a new device and they said I could pay another deductable because it must have been damaged! Fraudulent business practice in my opinion! NEVER AGAIN will I use them.

It is HORRIBLE-total scam!!! Do not pay for it! They say they will cover things but even though there was not even a scratch on my TV they would not cover it when it stopped working. Worst company -should be investigated.

Initially I put in a claim online with all documents requested on July 2024 for the broken arm on the chair I purchased at Staples in November 7, 2023. I contacted them several times. The automated email stated my claim was approved and I would be getting a refund gift card for the chair. I waited but NEVER received the card. I called and email again several more times. I then receive a text again stating that my claim was completed and the gift card was on its way. Again, nothing! I call again. The CS Rep stated he was going to expedite my claim because of my inconvenience. Next, I get a email stating I needed yet more paperwork in which they sent me a form that I could not open. I call AGAIN inquiring about the form. The CS Rep in the reviews department sent me a new form via email and stated that he would follow up with me once He received the form. Again, Nothing! I call again, for the last time on August 09, and the CS rep emails me and states He is taking over the case and stated in His email that He would have answers for me no later than COB August 12. I followed up and emailed Him on COB August 12th, 13th, and 14th. I still have no answers!!!!

Basically fraudulent. Charge a monthly fee and then do not provide the services that you are paying for. Avoid at all costs.

If I could give Asurion a 0 out of 5 stars, I would. I’ve had to reschedule a phone repair twice now because the company has failed to order replacement parts despite their customer service assuring me that a repair technician was on the way. There’s a complete lack of transparent communication (or any communication at all for that matter) about technician status unless you go out of your way to sit through call wait times (just for them to outright lie to you). The only way my device actually got fixed was when a technician took it upon himself to locate a part and drive out to my house. Ridiculous that this is what you get for a paid Verizon service.

i filed a claim to replace my lost cell phone on saturday. it is now monday i have not even received a tracking number for my new device. i've called and all they keep saying is that i should receive the tracking number within an hour yet still nothing. They said my phone will POSSIBLY arrive tomorrow. so that's 3 days without a cellphone. honestly what is the point of paying every month for insurance AND a $280 deductible and still having to go DAYS without phone and crappy customer service where the employees lie about shipping and also don't know what is going on.

Filed a claim Saturday, Asurion assured me that my phone would be delivered the same day. Its been three days still no phone. the representatives are giving false information. Managers and supervisors refuse to take call. Rep gem hung up the call when I asked for the manager. we pay the phone companies for insurance and they leave us in the hands of these jokers. and they have the nerve they say they take legal action against false information.

At 5:09pm, 08/12/2024, Indpls, IN, on Mills rd and Mann rd The person driving this asurion vehicale, blew through a stop sign to get onto mills. I thought everyone makes mistakes maybe he wasn't paying attention. They then proceeds to run a red light at mills/mann to make a right hand turn, all to stop at the BP to go inside. I don't care what the hurry was as they casually walked inside, but it wasn't worth risking peoples lives.

I purchased a product on Amazon and opted to get the warranty through Asurion. I decided promptly not to keep the amazon product and got a refund immediately. I asked Asurion within 2 days of purchasing the protection for a refund. I have had to write to them 2 times, long slow mail. The cost of stamps almost $4 just to get my $9.04 back. The point is not the money. The point is they have NOT refunded my money. DO NOT buy this protection. Worst customer service ever.

This is the worst company for protection plans. They don't email the information out to you within the stated 24 hours. The website does not allow you to register, upload an invoice/receipt, or send you the code to sign-in/up, this stops you from getting to the claim submission page. It's a great way to stop people from making a claim, especially for those that become easily dysregulated due to developmental disabilities.

What a load of crock. They sent me a defective phone, which I spent over 6 hours at Verizon for their Tier 2 level support trying to make sure it worked, could not solve it, then when I called Asurion they ran me around for 2 hours, hung up on me twice, tried to get me to order an upgrade with Verizon so they wouldn't have to replace their mistake, told me that I never got an Asurion phone in the first place when I quoted their own email back to them with the Claim ID number. Then they have the audacity to say they have a 5 star rating? Bullcrap.

Scam. They will blatantly lie to you on the phone to get you to open your wallet and there is no accountability. And if the rep on the phone doesn't think they can profit from you somehow, you get cold transferred and become somebody else's problem.

They keep you on the phone for more than an hour, being transferred from one foreigner to another that you have little chance of understanding at all. If you do succeed in getting a claim filed with them, they will tell you that your desktop has to be shipped to Ohio, to our service center to be analyzed and repaired if possible. They say they will mail you a box to take your computer to UPS, and wait 10 days after it arrives in Ohio, before they ship it back to you. You're looking at doing without a computer for at least 20 days, so if you have a business to run, you are up the creek without a paddle! I wish that the salesman at Staples had not even mentioned this extended comprerhensive warranty, because it's more hassle than it's worth!
