Cancelled night before and given date after waiting over a month for delivery. Rang to adjust date of delivery. 'You are number 40 in the queue' Yep. I will be cancelling that order then 'You are Number 39 in the queue' Can't think why everyone goes to IKEA now.

Awful service. Good in the store when they want your money and then absolutely shocking service with everything since. Our bed arrived damaged after having to wait ages for it to be delivered. A replacement base was then ordered and should have arrived yesterday, with our headboard finally (which you can’t order with the base by the way, so has to come separately) but the delivery men arrived to say they were given the wrong base. So no base as promised and apparently they can’t install the headboard as a result. We’ve now been given another delivery date (for the new base) which is ages away. This is not a fault with the delivery men but a massive fault of Benson for Beds. Absolutely appalling service and sadly, I’ve heard of many others since who have also experienced similar issues with this company and have had to wait months for issues to be resolved. I had also read other bad reviews but ignored them as I thought I’d give BfB a chance. I really wish we had listened to them. As first time buyers this was a huge cost for us and we are so disappointed with the lack of care for their products and customer service. We were sold damaged goods. I really hope they can get it right this third time. If you’re reading this, please do not make the same mistake we did. Listen to the reviews!! Save yourself the future hassle and avoid this company.

I ordered a bed online from Bensons for Beds, on 7.8.22 paid in full. I have now had two delivery dates, which have been cancelled by email the night before. I now have a new delivery date of 3.11.22, I have no confidence that this is going to happen as the bed is no longer showing on the website, they are quick to take your money, but no guarantee you will ever receive a bed. Appalling customer service. DO NOT BUY FROM BENSONS FOR BEDS.

If I could leave 0 starts I would. They CANNOT DELIVER! Got my house in July, to date I am still not living there as I don't have any beds. I ordered my beds at the beginning of August with a 3 week delivery of the beds I orderered, they have rearranged delivery 3 times now and the latest was the 18th October, I have cancelled my order with a full refund. They lied twice about what the delay was about. The simple fact is they can't deliver. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY, it will only result in disappointment.

Delivery set for 2nd Sept, that delivery cancelled and rearranged for the 13th Sept. The bed never came and compensation was a 50.00 gift voucher to be used in store. Bloody insult!!

I ordered a bed on the 12th July. I was given an estimated delivery date of the 12th August, but told this would be confirmed closer to the time. On the 29th July this date (12th August) was communicated again. On the 5th August (Friday) it was confirmed again. On the 8th August (Monday – so, one working day later) I received word it was delayed, with a different date in late August named. This day wasn’t suitable for me so I rescheduled it to the 5th September, giving them an additional week or two. THE MORNING OF THE 5th I received a text that the delivery was not going to take place that day, but that it was scheduled for the 9th September instead. On the 7th September I called up the customer service to reconfirm delivery on the 9th, as for each of these nominated days I had had to reschedule my work diary to ensure I was home. Customer service confirmed that it had been loaded onto the van, and it would be delivered on Friday 9th. THE NEXT DAY – Thursday 8th – I received exactly the same message again saying that it was delayed again, without a rescheduled delivery date. At this point I wish I had never ordered through this company. I wish I could just cancel the order, get my money back, and order through a much more reliable company.

I would select zero stars if I was able to. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Had to replace our faulty bed, we were told we could have a replacement and they would collect the old one. They changed the delivery date several times, when they eventually delivered the replacement bed, only the base arrived and they said they had no idea where the mattress is. I called customer service, four phone calls later to four different advisors decided to transfer me without telling me but pretended they would place me on hold to read the notes. Clearly they didn’t want to deal with the complaint. Please do not use this company, not only was the product faulty but the service is horrendous.

Disgusted with this company, this was my first and very last time using this company. I have had up to 6 failed delivery attempts ( within 5 months) to deliver my order and no decent curtesy to call me and apologise and keep me informed. Poor communication between delivery team and customer service. Please do not ask me for what my order number is and ask for my contact details to look like you want to look into this further as I’ve spoken to customer service several times and all they could tell me was ‘ sorry’. I just want to inform future buyers to think before buying as they couldn’t give me a valuable reason why I kept having failed deliveries

Trading Standards should be contacted about this company’s practices and procedures, and Citizens Advice will notify Trading Standards if you call them on 0808 223 1133 (free) or 0345 404 0506. The more reports they receive, the more likely they can help.

Please do not buy from this company they have done nothing but messed us about for 8 weeks when the goods arrived they were damaged and was told that they could not take the goods back, after we had a big argument they took them back, please think twice before you buy from this company, we are looking down the line of taking them to court,

Terrible company. They took my money on 11 July and have failed to deliver full order on 2 occasions. Their Admin team has now given me what appears to be a dud telephone number to claim my refund on (0800 144 6160).Has my money been diverted to some kind of scam or gambled in some way on the stock exchange?

My partner and I purchased a Igel 2000 mattress 1year ago. The mattress we tried in the shop felt great, loads of support, really firm but comfy. Sadly the first mattress we recieved we had to send back before the 40night period as it sagged in the middle and when you slept near the edge it felt like you were falling out. Bensons sent out two different examiners in this time and who both said the mattress was defective and yet we still had Bensons saying the mattress was fine, eventually after many photos and back and forth emails and phone conversations they finally agreed to replace the mattress. We now have another Igel 2000 mattress and we've had it about a year. Honestly this is one of the worst mattresses I have ever slept on, the rating is suppossed to be FIRM and yet when you lay on the mattress it just doesn't support your body at all. You sink into it, but not like a comfy sinking feeling, more like a sagging lumpy feeling with no support at all, every single night I wake up with back ache and aching issues all down my body. I even have to sleep the opposite end of the head board as the mattress seems to be at a higher angle at the bottom of the bed which causes my legs to get pins and needles. By the way im a 31 year old weighing 14 stone, who is reasonably active and works over 48hours per week, so this has nothing to do with my age or health. The Mattress is suppossed to be cooling, this is definately not true! If anything the mattress makes you hotter! It seems to trap the heat when you lay on it after a while. My partner and I even bought a Cooling mattress protector and this still doesnt help keep you cool due to the mattress simply being unable to disapate and heat. Overall I would not rate this mattress to anyone it truely is uncomfortable and just a darn waste of money, which may I add is around £1200. I thought spending this type of money would get us a decent mattress but obviously not! If could swap it i most definately would, but Bensons say you cannot do this as its past the 40days period, in my opinion this is not a suitable time frame to test a mattress that is suppossed to be able to last you 8-10years.

Benson4beds Didcot, absolute shower. Promised everything took the money, we waited for delivery, nothing. Finally the base turned up with no mattress. Didcot refer you to customer services no answer on the phones. Still waiting for the mattress. Never using them again. See how long they last, they closed down a few years ago now we know why.

Terrible service first delivery never happened and second delivery was for pm delivery and came 10am we were still in bed no paperwork with delivery do not know whether the mattress is the same as the one we ordered and we spent over £1400 customer service was no better tried many times left on hold for over 2 hours then cut off days later we even sent a letter guess what we never did get a reply when we did eventually get through to customer services we were offered £100 in vouchers guess what we never heard nothing had to get back to customer services to get a voucher number we were given a voucher number but no confirmation email it will be interesting when we come to spend it

A few years ago my son bought a new bed, with the money he got for Christmas, and the mattress has got some major issues, and I sent Benson for beds some pictures, and they came back to me and said that his mattress has a fault and because it is under warranty still we could have a replacement but the original bed my son bought has been discontinued, and the Benson for beds store near me has closed down and the other stores that is supposed to be near me but they are miles away from us and no one can drive in our house for medical reasons, and they have suggested that we find one online but because of my son's disability he needs to try the beds before getting another one, and I have asked for a refund, but they are offering a voucher to buy a new bed from them

I ordered my mattress in July. Due to be delivered on August the 15th for them to not show up. They rearrange delivery got today 25th of August for them to cancel it on the day as they "haven't put it on the van"!! Absolutely livid! Nearly 10days without a mattress!!

An all round terrible experience that has left us all stressed, upset, let down and feeling lied to. We will never endorse this company again & would tell everyone never to shop here. The store branch are friendly but their comunication with their despatch centers is dreadful...we've sent an email & are waiting for a respomce they are looking into it is all you get. They fail to keep dates, dont know what eachother are doing, blame eachother for gheir failings, ee have been lied to and lied about as apparently when an order faiked to arrive the driver reported we had cancelled it which was false, he didnt even turn up. A paid for bed and matresses for an elderly sick relative is now over a week late, didnt arrive on the set date and no one can tell us evwn now when it will or what went wrong! Just shocking, we are going to ask for our money back and speak to the Ombusman about all of the poor service we have had.

Broken bed delivered flat packed 5 weeks ago. I've been told on 3 occasions that replacement parts are on the way but nothing received as yet. I wish I'd had read the reviews before I ordered. I've asked for a refund, I'm doubtful that I'll get it.

Ordered a bed. Didn't arrive on the day - I received a txt to say I had changed the delivery date to 3 weeks further away (which I had not). 1 hour on the phone. They said this was a mistake but they never delivered because they encountered a low bridge. I advised there are no low bridges anywhere near me and they said it could be anywhere in the country they were driving from to get to me. I asked why they never just avoided that road - no answer to that. Full official complaint put in via Resolver - so far no response after 13 days. I was advised I'd receive a call. Never happened. Several days later I called again - 50 minute wait - had to explain the situation again - more apologies and a promise of a call the following Monday to see when they could deliver. Again, no call came. No response from the complaint. I've been texted again to say the bed will come on a day I will not be home and to call if not convenient. I refuse to spend any more time or money calling them. More added to my official complaint form. Still no response at all. Absolutely appalling.
