After seeing our super king mattress we bought it for £1485 paid in full was told it would be delivered to 28th April 2022 so from the time we bought it that was 7 weeks to wait we received a text from them to say it would be between 7am to 1pm when the day arrived for our mattress to be delivered we were away so I asked a neighbour to come in to let them in at 10am that day the driver called me to say had anyone been in touch with me I said no why he explained they didn't load our mattress on the lorry at their Leicester depot and someone was calling me I was not happy at all so called the store where we bought it they couldn't do anything so called customer service I was 110 in line so requested a call back 2 hours someone called me said sorry and will contact their Leicester deport to see next available delivery and I would get it by text and £100 compensation when it is delivered I got the text it won't be delivered now until 7th June 2022 I an not holding my breath on that either absolutely shocking so that is nearly 3 months for our mattress keep away from Bensons for beds shocking company and I will not buy again from them

Absolutely disgusted by the service that my severely ill Mother that Bensons for beds have given her, was meant to deliver the mattress on the Monday but after ringing to find out what time it was being delivered she was told they forgot to ring her on Friday before to say they were out of stock. The next delivery was scheduled for the following Friday between 7 and 1, no bed to sleep on apart from her sofa bed luckily but uncomfortable. She waited in all day but still no mattress, My partner and my mother telephoned the helpline and waited in a queue (60) before being cut of and store now closed until Tuesday. My mother tried again to phone the Farnborough store on Saturday 30th April hoping that the mattress was going to be delivered that day but another no show and was told nothing they can do until Tuesday . What an absolute joke this company is to leave my mother like this in her condition fighting cancer ! Avoid avoid Avoid ! Disgusting customer service with absolute no clue on what they are doing

Mattress ordered from farnborough branch, delivery date given, between 7 to 1, despite poor health up early, waited, nothing, called, over 40 mins to speak to advisor, told out of stock will deliver friday. Friday came early start, waited, nothing, rang 40 min wait, told, van left late bit of delay be with you by 3. Nothing, rang again person not really interested had to press for answers. Told new delivery date will get text next day, nothing. Rang store, warehouse shut for bank hol, might hear Tuesday. I'm angry, upset, at total lack of customer care, shouldn't be allowed to trade, yet carried trust pilot logo. Total thieves

Waited in 7-1 for delivery of mattress which never arrived. Customer services line disconnected as message stating too busy to accept call! Advised by store mattress was never out for delivery and couldn’t guarantee next delivery date or when that would be! How can a business trade like this? frustrating after waiting 6 weeks already.

I ordered a mattress and paid the extra £50 cleaning insurance cover. Waited six weeks for delivery. Was scheduled for delivery yesterday waited in and it didn't arrive. Can't get through to customer service and store who sold it aren't too bothered. I wouldn't advise paying for goods in full before delivery. Terrible customer service. Would have recorded no stars.

DO NOT use this company. My Disabled 89 year old mother is currently crying at home, in pain, because she has had to wait over 9 weeks for her delivery which has been delayed and delayed. Now they deliver her bed base BUT NO MATTRESS. IT WILL BE DELAYED FOR FURTHER WEEKS LEAVING HER IN AGONY. Its an absolute disgrace, you cant get through to anyone, no one cares apart from the Sales people in the shop, but after that, once you've parted with your money, and we spent over £1,000, you're on your own and they couldn't give a damn. I am taking this formally through to complaints and trading standards. Oh and in addition, I ordered my mattress and this was ALSO delayed with me having to be in tears on the phone as they halted delivery as promised. CHAOS and mis selling to ordinary people who deserve better.

I ordered a bed and mattress on 19/03/22 the base arrived on 27/04 but mattress is not arriving until 25/5 very disappointed and upset. Will not be ordering or recommending this company ever again

I ordered a bed frame and mattress on the 4th January 2022 in the Thurrock store with 4 weeks delivery and have now had my delivery cancelled for the 4th time! The most recent being yesterday (25th April) the 4th delivery day when I was told on the day that they could deliver the bed frame but not the mattress, apparently 'the mattress didn't get loaded onto the van' and now I'm told my delivery has been rescheduled for the 19th May 2022. This company is an absolute joke! I'd also like to add that this is my second time buying from Bensons for Beds, the first time being in March 2020 when the wardrobes I had ordered where delivered water damaged, TWICE. Don't bother ordering from them unless you're happy to wait 6 months.

Me+my wife waited in 4 days after we have been given confirmation times and dates,and then told our bed was not loaded on the vehicle. We spoke to so many advisors and got cut off a number of times.AND WE ARE STILL WAITING! My wife is disabled and the service we have received from Bensons and the distribution base is a disgrace.

I wish We had read the reviews on here before purchasing our bed, with it been a well known store I trusted that it would have been reliable. We paid extra for the assembly of the bed, where the drivers left filthy hand print marks all over the light coloured fabric divan, damaged the stairway wall in multiple places and basically ran out of the door before we had chance to even look at the bed, we took pictures and emailed bensons for beds and rang the customer service line, only for the call to be continuously cut off with an automated line stating the lines are too busy, nearly a month later out email was replied to with no definite resolution and Iv now been on hold for over an hour at position 3, Literally as I’m writing this my call was ended! Disgusting customer service and will never purchase anything from this company again and I’ll discourage anyone from doing so

Shocking! Ordered a bed for £2000 at end of January with delivery not until 1st April but was willing to wait as we really wanted the same mattress. Short story…4 failed delivery attempts of mattress (bed came ok) and 3 hours on phone waiting I’ve had a refund for the mattress from the Truro store who I have to say were the only good part of the experience. Have no idea why they work for such a dreadful company!

If I could give this company a zero rating then I would do so. I ordered a new mattress from them on 12th March and was advised that delivery would be on 20th April. Right up until 19th April I was sent texts to tell me that my delivery was on track and that the mattress would be delivered between 7am and 1pm on the 20th. On the 19th I received an email to inform me that they were unable to fulfil the delivery but that I would be advised of a new delivery date within 24 hours. Reading other reviews, as I have since done, this seems to be their modus operandi. On the 20th I received a phone call to advise me that the mattress was stuck in the warehouse in Tewksbury but that it would probably be delivered later this week or by next week. I was told that I would receive notification of the new delivery date by the 21st. Today I received an email to advise that I had requested that my order be placed on hold until 26/12/2050 but that if I could click on a link if I wished to change this date. When I clicked to change, I found that the earliest delivery date is 1st June. I visited the store to request a refund but was told by a man with no customer facing manners that he would have to ask the manager to call me later. In the event I was contacted, not by the manager but by the sales assistant who sold me the mattress. He advised that any refund would be less a 20% admin fee. Since I paid almost £800 for the mattress this would amount to £160! What crooks. They will have had my hard earned money for more than two and a half months by 1st June and there is no guarantee that this delivery date will be honoured. Buy from them at your peril! Do not fall into the same trap that I have. If they carry on in this manner then their days as a store are numbered. Once they have your money, they couldn’t care about customer satisfaction.

Disgusting service. Our Daughter ordered a bed from your store. Waited weeks for it to be delivered but upon arrival the driver got out of the cab to tell them some parts are missing. I'm not being funny but why the hell does it leave the depot when they know pieces are missing . What do they expect them to sleep on when the old bed is gone. My daughter is pregnant and does not expect to be sleeping on the floor or sofa as this is not good enough. Also they never told them it had to be put up by themselves. My daughter has rung numerous times to be fobbed off by your customer service which is absolutely rubbish. She is still waiting for the pieces to be delivered which they keep saying it will be with them on a certain day but then get messages to say its not coming. I don't find this acceptable. It is not good enough. They are alright when they are taking your money off you. One angry parents and daughter .

Original bed purchase good. However, when it was delivered one of the draws was broken, another didn't fit the slot. Several replacements that were not ordered, or deliveries that weren't loaded on the van and 8 months later, we still have no resolution and, as others have said, very difficult to get through to customer services. Please, please go elsewhere when purchasing a bed.

AVOID THESE CLOWNS LIKE THE PLAGUE.......Once they have your money, they are NOT interested. Bed arrived with wrong TV to what it was advertised with ( worth far less than the one suggested), it arrived with holes where there should have been screws in, they reduced the bed by £100 between ordering it and delivering it to me and ignored 4 emails and 2 telephone calls from me about all of the above. The quality is very poor. I have called twice now and waited over an hour having been at position 70+ in the queue. I am currently holding again and have started at position 21 - there is no Customer Service and After care simply doesn't exist. I wish I read the reviews before I ordered - don't do the same.

Very bad experience. I bought a bed with mattress and headboard in-store for a reasonable price in early February 2022 and was given a delivery date six weeks away which I was content with. Three days before the delivery date Bensons sent a text confirming delivery. On the actual delivery day, Bensons sent another text confirming a two-hour delivery slot together with a link to track my delivery. Clicking the link told me the driver had made his first drop and that I was drop number twelve. So far so good. Two hours later Bensons sent another text to tell me they were "pleased to advise me they had rebooked delivery" for three weeks away! They might have been "pleased" but I certainly wasn't! So my bed wasn't on the lorry at all and I doubted if it had even been made yet. I immediately rang Bensons customer service and after pressing options and listening to music on hold, a robot told me I was 98th in the queue. Yes 98th! I pressed option 2 for a callback and after an hour an agent did phone me back but I missed the call and it went into voicemail. The message said to call back on the same number as before so I did and guess what... I was 98th in the queue again. Like before I pressed option 2 for a callback which never came so I called them next morning at 9am when they opened. It rang for a few minutes before I was cut off. Ringing straight back put me 19th in the queue so I hung on and was answered after a 20 minute wait. The agent was very apologetic and at my request offered a refund but suggested giving them another chance for delivery in three weeks time. The agent said if it goes wrong again I can phone for an immediate refund put onto my credit card. I decided to give them this chance but wish I hadn't. At 17:20 the day before the new delivery day, Bensons sent an email saying my goods "will not be delivered tomorrow due to some operational issues we are experiencing in our distribution centre" and said they would contact me again within 24 hours with a new delivery date. The next day (9 weeks from purchase and the second failed delivery day) they sent a text saying delivery had been rebooked for five weeks away (14 weeks from purchase). I phoned again to cancel the order and was 89th in the queue so opted for a callback which came after an hour or so. The agent said I would have to phone the store for a refund. The agent three weeks earlier said I could get a refund by phoning them - so someone is lying. I phoned the store several times without being answered. Fortunately I had paid by credit card and by phoning my card provider I was able to get a chargeback against Bensons so I have my money back. I have wasted more than two months and will now start shopping for a new bed from other suppliers. I will never buy anything from this company again as my experience indicates it is a shambles.

Order bed and mattress waterd 6 weeks when arrived no mattress or side rails then was told had to wait another 6 weeks the delivery men were so rude didn't care about only half of order was delivered cancelled order got my £2000 back there Los whe t with a small independent company which bed and mattress delivery in a day please avoid oak furniture Land customer services and delivery men shocking take your money nice in shops which I had read reviews first sh avoid you been warned

The worst company ever. Bought a bed for £1500 and within 6 months the legs are broken. Told to pay £60 to Homeserve to get a report (pics not enough) After paying 60 and report told I will be sent 4 legs which I need to fix myself. Told them old person, not an expert on fixing broken bed, told not their problem.
