“I bought a Ring doorbell online on 1/8/21 for pickup at my local store. There was no more in stock (showed 1 in stock during time of order), but I was never notified! The only way I found out was by clicking on the "view order status" link in the initial email sent to me that day. I assumed since there was no more in stock, no money would be taken out of my account because stores usually don't charge you until the item is picked up. On 1/21/21, I check my online banking and see a charge from best buy for $104.99. I went back into the "view order status" link and cancelled the order through there, hopefully I'll receive a refund. Just be aware that when ordering from best buy and selecting local pickup, they charge your card right away and it's your own duty to make sure you actually do get refunded if the item is not in stock and you never picked it up. Good thing I saw it on my bank account, hopefully they won't give me the run around.”
“Went to best buy in Manchester MO to buy a laptop and was greeted at the door by an employee asking if I had a reservation. I told him that I didn't and he said they are only letting people in that have a reservation and they turned me away. I guess if they don't want our business we don't have to give them our business. Good luck best buy, turning paying customers away is telling us that you have enough money and don't need us. Never going back! I bought a laptop somewhere else that night.”
“Waited a whole month for a package, only to be told I'm getting a refund. For the entire month I was waiting, I literally have to follow up on customer service every 5 days like it's my job. "The issue had to relay back to backend team, please wait 3-5 business days". I'm literally stuck using a old unusable device for a WHOLE MONTH. They could have told me I'm getting a refund earlier and I could have spend gotten a new device on elsewhere instead. My package should have arrived within 3 days instead I have to wait 30 days to be told I'm just getting a refund. They didn't even bother to send me another product.
DO NOT BUY FROM BEST BUY ! It's the worst buy. Waste my a month of my life, following with customer service only just to get my money back, money that was originally MINE.”

We were told they would call the day before and they did not. they didn't even call today we had to jump through the geek squad circus only to be told it would be 2 more weeks and that they would not guarantee when they will show up. I said sure. 6 hours later, I received a link to reschedule via text. Tomorrow was not an option. I was only off work today and was going to have to miss work for a later date. they would not budge. “You can't get through to the Waco Texas store by phone. The customer service at this store is terrible. If you try to go to the store, which I did on 2 occasions on my lunch break and there was a waiting line to go into store. I made 7 attempts to contact by phone and was placed on hold on all 7 attempts. The longest I waited was 27 minutes 22 seconds. On the last 3 attempts I tried, I hung up after 5 minutes. If you buy merchandise from the Waco store, don't expect to get to talk with someone for help on anything you purchase or plan to stand in a wait line to get into that store. I have bought lots of things from this store and it has been my go to store for electronics and help. But I will be looking for another store to get these items since they can't answer the phone for help and to purchase items. Worst customer service I have had in a long time. Gil Lillard Waco Texas”

Went to pick up our online PAID order at the BEST BUY in Northbrook. Was told someone else had picked it up already. Whoever picked it up DID NOT HAVE TO SHOW ID OR SIGN ANYTHING. Best Buy store manager told us he would file an incident report and call us in a couple days. BEST BUY Called Corporate customer service and they said there is nothing they could do.

“I am noted as an "elite" member because of my purchases. During the holiday shopping season Best Buy Glen Allen VA had a Chromebook advertised for $150 off the retail price. It was posted on 12/20. On 12/26 I tried to buy one. They claimed to be out of stock and could not order. I went back the next day and the price was still showing (I took photos) but that it was a mistake and they would not honor it. I asked to be contacted by their General Manager and called their customer service number 4 times, was either hung up on or put on hold, used their chat option and posted using their app. Today is 1/15/21 and not a single person from Best Buy has reached out to me. Not only will I not shop there again, I will post on every social media platform available for others to use Amazon and other retailers such as Costco if you want good customer service.”
“Best buy has been on of my favorite store for any Tech related products. Never could I have imagined that they have a super poor customer service.
First the item that I ordered was delayed for a week. I been very patient and didn't complain.
Then it was marked as delivered whereas I didn't receive any item. The strange part is the time stamp, the shipping info said it was out for delivery for by 4:13 pm then it was marked as delivered by 4:14 pm. Unless they could teleport to my house then it is acceptable. Then I called customer service the first guy promised me for a supervisor solution for 48 hours but no one reached out to me. Then the second guy told me it should be 7-10 business days. I didn't even asked for a 48 hours solution and yet they offered it so I was impressed at first but I didn't know that they are a bunch of liars. Then I called again this east indian lady hung up on me when she can't give me any answers. That is super unprofessional. I was not even rude and I actually was very calm. I'm just asking for a solution.
Because of this poor customer service I might never buy again from BestBuy”
“I strongly recommend against purchasing from Best Buy.
I purchased a Logitech Wireless 3-in-1 Charging Dock for my boyfriend for Christmas. We've tested it out over the last few weeks and no matter what we do we cannot get one of the charging ports to work. The upright phone charging dock will only charge his phone for 15 seconds before switching off.
I called Best Buy to return the item, as it is unfortunately defective and I would like to replace it with one that works. I live in Ontario and due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the provincial government has issued a stay-at-home order and reopened the State of Emergency telling people they cannot leave their homes for anything that is not essential which is listed as food, health care, exercise or work.
According to Best Buy, I have until January 16th (two days from now) to bring the charging dock into a store to replace it, which I cannot legally do because of the stay-at-home order. They mentioned they could print me a shipping slip to return it that way but it probably won't make it in time so they wouldn't recommend doing that. Again, I would have to go to the post office to do this which is non-essential, potentially exposing myself to the virus and causing further spread.
It is extremely disturbing to me that a company as big as Best Buy would refuse to extend their return policy through a global pandemic. The item is defective and they've given me basically no way to legally return it.”

The guy told me I had 90 days to return the phone and when I went back after 2 1/2 weeks, I was told I only had two weeks to return the phone for a full refund. The phone is a lemon. “WILL NEVER BUY FROM BEST BUY AGAIN.. I was scheduled for a delivery between noon and 5 P M. i received a call that afternoon that the delivery could not be made. It seems there was a minor accident.
