The delivery service we received was appalling. After being given a delivery date and time slot Currys failed to deliver. After spending nearly an hour on the phone on the day of delivery we managed to rearrange a delivery slot for two days after the one given to us by Currys. Again they failed to deliver. They rang us on the second delivery date to say they didn't know where our item was. Infuriated was an understatement. We eventually got our washer five days after Currys original delivery date. Have emailed head office but three days later are still waiting for a reply with an explanation and apology as to why we were kept waiting so long. Certainly won't be using Currys again. Purchased an Xbox one 18 days ago. Came with a free download of FIFA and a hard copy of Star Wars. We left the shop with the Xbox and were told the Game would be available to collect in 2 days. 18 days later and 3 shop visits still no game. On Sunday we visited the store, we were handed another Xbox one as apparently they had no record of us leaving the shop 2 weeks earlier with one. We explained we had the Xbox one but they were adamant that we didn't. After several minutes they actually listened. We could easily have taken the free one but morally that wasn't right. Yet again after more excuses and lack of help we are still awaiting confirmation that the game purchased is available to collect..... Absolutely atrocious customer service. You wait and wait and wait and are told due to demand we cannot guarantee delivery before Xmas.... We are going to wait until Sunday then if no game we will return the Xbox one and get a refund... Get a grip curries and actually listen to your customers and fulfill your promises...

Just had an American Fridge Freezer delivered by Knowhow. Ordered yesterday from Currys in Tunbridge Wells. Elaine the sales person could not of been more helpful, we explained the difficulty in delivering to our house and she checked everything out. Paid for delivering next day with a time slot. The Knowhow team of Dave and Bruno turned up on time and were very professional and gave an excellent service. Will be using Currys again and cannot fault the service at any level. Clive Dowe

Just entered the Bridgend store, to purchase s Dyson V6 handheld vacuum cleaner, no staff available to help. Approached by an assistant on the shop if I required assistance, however he was unable to help because he worked downstairs not upstairs. Appalling service. Will take my money to JL and get a free five year warranty.

Had a Tumble dryer delivered this morning. They delivered within their slot and was nice enough to connect it up and explain the warranty and how I could apply for it. Lads were very polite and cheerful, making it a delightful delivery

we ordered a dishwasher to be delivered 4 days later, only to receive a call at 7 am the day of delivery to say the product was not in the warehouse we had paid and received confirmation of delivery. the online people were not very helpful and mildly confrontational. We decided to go and collect the dishwasher ourselves from a local store this proved to be a much more positive experience.

Was told our 55 in neoblack Samsung could go home with us LAST SUNDAY . When they checked. .none in stock..told us would be in shop Tuesday for collection. Called ..no..in shop Friday...still waiting..no contact number to store. Spoke to an agent about an hour ago who didn't seem to know what he was doing. .still waiting to be contacted. Really considering asking to be re-emburssed the £2,000 we spent last Sunday..Not good enough!!

We ordered an american style fridge freezer three weeks ago. Unfortunately the fridge side was faulty. We had the engineer come out to us who confirmed this. When ringing through to currys Peterborough, our local store, I was told i would need to contact head office, so i rang head office who just fobbed me off. I then rang Peterborough store again, who told me they could not do exchange or refunds over the phone and that i would have to go in store. SO after driving 30 mins, i get to store and they supposedly process my refund. Upon collecting my order, i received a text message in the morning stating collection time would be between 12pm - 4pm. At 10.20 i receive a phone call to say they was half an hour away. I then had to ask a family member to rush over to my house. At 12pm no one had a arrived! Half an hour later they came and took it away. I have rang currys asking for the refund to go back on my card, to which they said they would email me... 24 hours later... still no email! This is the shortened version as there was a lot more complications! Such poor service. I would never shop at currys again!!!

I visited currys store last night not busy staff standing at door doing nothing I was there to purchase a tv worth £650 after finding the one I wanted I waited for a member of staff. A staff member came over and looked busy I asked if he could help me he said he works for know how and is servicing a customer but would let the manager know I was waiting . I waited and waited still a member of staff on the door doing nothing . Nobody bothered to come over after waiting for over 15 mins I walked out not happy with the service I will purchase elsewhere . I feel you need to know you have a big problem with customer service within your company which no company can afford these days .

They were an hour and a half late. Was given a 4 hour delivery time slot but they didn't come. Then they didn't unpack or put in room of choice left in garage.

Do Not Buy from this shop - they have absolutely no concept of customer service.....and SMEG are useless too! We bought a £2000 Smeg range cooker A2PY-8 Opera 100 Dual Fuel in April this year. Immediately upon use we discovered that the 2 largest/most powerful burners (UR2 on the Hob description in the manual) ALWAYS cut out immediately after ignition when the pan was put on the heat. We reported this immediately to Curry's customer services area who shipped our problem over to Dolphin Appliances. 6mths later - numerous chasers, another engineer's report, numerous video's of the problem and photographs and we are still arguing liability. SMEG won't admit there is a fault and Curry's are doing NOTHING about it. Apparently they are fully aware of our rights under consumer laws..... what a joke that is! ...the fight continues, looks like we will need to take legal action next.

I BOUGHT A NEW LAPTOP FOR OVER 300 POUNDS. IT WAS FAULTY SO I TOOK IT BACK BECAUSE IT WAS STILL UNDER GUARANTEE. HOWEVER IT TRANSPIRED THAT IT WAS MY ERROR SO THEY WOULD ONLY FIX IT FOR A HUGE FEE. I DECLINED AND ASKED FOR IT BACK. I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD BE CONTACTED WHEN IT WAS BACK. I HEARD NOTHING FOR WEEKS SO I PHONED AND I WAS TOLD I HAD TO REQUEST IT MYSELF AND WAS GIVEN A NUMBER TO PHONE. I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THIS BUT I PHONED AND ASKED FOR IT TO BE RETURNED. I WAS THEN TOLD THERE WAS A FEE TO GET IT BACK OF OVER 40 POUNDS. WHEN I COMPLAINED TO THE SHOP THEY AGREED TO GET IT BACK AND WAIVE THE FEE. GREAT I THOUGHT BUT THEN AFTER YET MORE TIME HAD GONE BY I PHONED ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT IT HAD BEEN DESTROYED. I WAS FURIOUS AND COMPLAINED IMMEDIATELY. OF COURSE THEY HAD THEIR EXCUSES SO I RECEIVED NOTHING BACK. I AM A DISABLED WOMAN AND THIS WAS MY LIFELINE AS I SPEND A LOT OF TIME IN BED. I SAVED UP FOR AGES TO BUY THIS. I WAS TREATED APPALLINGLY BY CURRY'S AND WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN. A MULTIMILLION POUNDS CORPORATION STITCHED UP A DISABLED WOMAN FOR A MERE 320 POUNDS JUST BECAUSE THEY CAN. PLEASE GO ELSWHERE IF YOU WANT PEACE OF MIND AND TREATED FAIRLY. IF YOU WANT MORE INFO PHONE ME ON THIS NUMBER 07956566502.

We had a Beko oven delivered at 1.20 saturday. The delivery men didn't unpack it. As we unpacked it it was evident the box had been dropped. The top of the oven is smashed in. The drivers said to ring and we would get another delivered tomorrow. They wouldn't come back for it. It is now an hour later and all that time has been spent trying to speak to someone with sense, when we get off 'hold'. The first number we rang the guy was rude and uncooperative. He insisted my husband ripped all the packaging off to give him a serial number. Can't see the relevance! Then gave us the manufacturers number we finally found out after being on hold and giving lots of details to an automated message. Finally got through to a lady who said he was naughty giving us that number and transferred us to another number. The lady who answered that couldn't help as the number she has 'wouldn't be any good to us'. We have now been on hold for customer service, such as it is- a joke- for 46 minutes!! Getting angrier by the minute and still have no oven to cook Sunday lunch tomorrow. Get your act together and make this process easier. We should not be in this position as the fault is not of our making. It should not have been delivered in a damaged state. Someone knows they dropped it and has still let it be delivered to an unsuspecting customer -us! Update: almost 24 hours later the promised phone call to arrange new delivery has not been received. Get your act together and train your staff better!!

Black Friday farce - prices fixed to fool the consumer... Hotpoint DUE61BC cooker - before sale price = £429 (as at 18/11/15) sale price = £549 + 10% Black Friday discount (as at 28/11/15)... This is how Currys treat their customers to a good deal!! - When I queried the price increase with a manager, I was laughed at & told It wasn't smart to have waited for the sale! :(

Had a delivery of an electric oven today, delivery only. When packaging was removed there was severe damage to back of oven it was completely bashed in. The customer service has a lot to be desired after two hours of telephone calls, numerous automated calls and departments, I finally spoke to a young man who took several details with a promise to ring back. No phone call but there was a voice mail !!!!!!! Instructing me to contact them again with the pick up reference number. Three people later I now have to wait until Sunday for it to be picked up with no guaranteed time. I have used Curry's several times, both on line and in store . I am extremely disappointed with their responses and the long drawn out process just to return faulty goods. What happened to direct customers services, one number with someone at the other end to respond.
