I wanted to buy a soundbar which came with a free pair of wireless headphones online. However, there were no stores within 100 miles of me which had both items. Before i ordered online i spoke with currys customer services and was told to order the couldbar (which was avalable albeit 50 miles away) and on my way home to call in at my local branch (who had stock of the headphones) who could then do a "Refund & Resale" to include the headphones. It turns out that this information is a total lie! Having been to my local store twice (i had to go a second time as i had left the card i purchased with at home) only to be told they cannot do this (then why did you need my card?). I then resorted to calling Customer Services who were less than useless (rude, arrogant and unhelpful). They suggested i return the soundbar (another 50 mile journey) and then reorder it when both items are in stock locally (although they had no idea if or when this would be. I am currently awaiting a delivery from Currys of 2 other items which i will now be returning and i will purchase elsewhere - i will not use them again if this is how they treat a customer who has been given incorrect information by a member of their staff. Disgraceful.

paid £100 for my Rangemaster to be installed when it was delivered today! I was VERY distappointed when the installer informed me that he was unable to install the cooker because we hadn’t got the LPG gas nozzle. We had no idea we needed this, and he wasn’t informed that we were a LPG! We had the conversion kit- but no one said we needed this nozzle!!!! We live on a hill farm in the country and I have young children who I need to feed! Teamknowhow need bettter communication with their customers, a phone call a week/couple of days before to inform us what we need would of saved a lot of hassle. Also somewhere we could note that the cooker is LPG. Also you need better communication with your installers as he had no idea the cooker needed to be converted to LPG. We will never pay for installion from you again as your customer service and communication is very poor!

I purchased a gas cooker for my Mother & also paid for it to be installed & for the old one to be taken away. Whilst installing they managed to drill through a power cable but failed to notify either myself or my Mother of this. It was found out when an electrician was rectifying a none working wall socket. I have written to Curry's twice & asked for an explanation & both times have not been answered. Absolutely disgusted by their poor customer service

Avoid and stay clear of Curry’s PC World even if they are the cheapest. I recently ordered a TV through click and collect and failed to receive an email to confirm the order. Luckily I printed the order receipt before leaving the page. When going into the store the next day (Wisbech Store), I was told that there was an error with my order (1st lie) and that it had been automatically cancelled. I then asked when I would get a refund and I was told that the payment would simply be cancelled (2nd lie). It is not possible for pending payments to be simply cancelled as they stated and my bank confirmed so. I then called customer services back and was told that the refund was held in a holding account and my bank had to release the funds (3rd lie). My bank said that this is completely false and the bank do not hold the refunds in any such account. After another call I was told that the refund had been incorrectly processed and it would have to be manually put through. After 4 days I was still waiting to receive a refund so I called for the 3rd time, at which I was told the refund would take 3-5 working days to be processed. After waiting exactly 5 days I finally received the refund for the item that I never received. In hindsight I am glad that I didn’t actually receive an item as Curry’s are not a company that I would ever want to deal with if something went wrong. Curry’s PC World are untrustworthy who lie, make stuff up, and fob their customers off. For the extra £10,£20,£30,£40 in saving is it really worth experiencing the terrible customer service many customers like I did? Probably not. All I can say is that is to stay clear from this company, as I will, and hopefully they will realise that treating customer’s in the same way they treated me is not a good long term strategy.

Ordered a fridge in November it was meant to be delivered within 21 days but nothing and no updates from them, finally got hold of them to be told it was out of stock...leaving me with no fridge over Christmas, if they had let me know I could have had a refund and got a new fridge in time for Christmas from somewhere else, was told new delivery would be in by 30th December but still nothing, they have also taken product support payments from my bank that I didn't agree to... I am appalled at their service in every aspect and would not recommend or use them again

I would like to give you zero customer services. You have my money but I have not received the goods latest expected delivery was yesterday. I tried to make a complaint but the agent refused to take it telling me to wait until tomorrow. You have had my money since 30 December

Ordered £700 TV for parents in their 90's housebound as old one broken. Bought on line, item in stock at local store. No email confirmation or pick up advice received despite waiting to speak to virtual assistant in queue of 156 for ages. Totally rubbish service and hugely disappointing for my poor parents. Wouldnt buy anything thing from Currys again. My advice to anyone is go elsewhere. Currys don't even value their customers sufficiently to allow the courtesy of being able to speak to anyone on the phone.

I placed two duplicate orders with you on Friday, 27/11/20 because, having made the first, I realised I could achieve a bigger discount. Failure 1 I had to submit my details about 10 times, as your delivery timeslot kept timing out whilst I was having to transpose voucher numbers onto your order form which resulted in repeated failed order attempts – an absolutely infuriating digital experience. Failure 2 I used your digital cancellation facility, supposedly to cancel the first order. I subsequently received SMS and email communications stating the order I had submitted a cancellation for, would be delivered on Monday 30th November?!? Failure 3 I spent considerable time trying to locate a customer service phone number for your company, which you clearly intentionally hide, to channel customers via a digital route, I assume because you want to squeeze every last penny of profit out of your business and therefore are unprepared to pay people to handle your customer service function. Using a digital customer service function might be acceptable in most circumstances, if your digital route actually worked. It does not, as is clear from what I have described so far. Failure 4 I spent 30-40 minutes on hold trying to get through to your company, once I had located any phone number I could. Your technical support person put me through to a customer service representative, more holding. I explained clearly the very simply issue I needed resolving – the cancellation and refund of a duplicate order. The customer service representative told me he could see about 10 attempts to place my order, I said yes, this was due to your useless order process which timed out the delivery slot leading to the order failing so many times. It was obvious from his tone and actions that he could not give two ****s. He put me on hold three times as he sullenly tried to figure out how to do his job. He then hung up the phone. At this point I was absolutely seething. Failure 5 I could not waste any more of a very precious Saturday on your incompetent staff and awful phone line timescales, so I turned to Twitter and tweeted your company. It is 13th December as I write and that was never responded to. Failure 6 I rang back on 28/11/20 as I was too angry to do any more.. Another 30-40 minutes of hold music. Failure 7 I spoke to another member of Curry’s staff. I described the abysmal experience that I had had, she sounded bored and disinterested, but did finally agree that what I had experienced was poor. The lady told me she had cancelled my first order, which she achieved in less than 5 minutes, so why the previous employee could not and then hung up I have no idea. No actually, I know exactly why. He could not be bothered. I received an email saying my first order had indeed been cancelled. Failure 8 On Tuesday 8th December you delivered the tumble dryer, which after its arrival I came to realise was associated with my first order number. So despite using two methods of cancelling my order, you still delivered it. What an idiotic farce of the highest order. Failure 9 I had been checking my bank account for a refund. As of (13/12/2020) you still had my money. So, I went online and used your web chat service. Your Virtual Assistant was what I used to initially cancel my first order, and having established that it does not work previously I was not impressed to be greeted by it again. The tiniest saving grace was that by entering the word ‘complaint’ I did at least get diverted to a human-operated service. Oh, I started at 12th in the queue. More of my time being sucked into a vortex. Failure 10 The interaction with the live chat human service was exceptionally slow. I was my order had been cancelled and I would receive email confirmation. I did not, I waited several days for a refund, it did not happen. I asked to make a formal complaint, I was offered a phone number. I requested an email address, as there is no WAY I was going to hold for 45 minutes to be cut off for wanting to complain. Failure 11 The email address reached a ‘pre-sales’ team, who simply replied offering a phone number for me to call as they weren’t the ‘right team to deal with my query’ Failure 12 Good Grief, no one at your company takes any ownership!!! Why tell a customer with a complaint to re-contact another part of the company YOU SHOULD DO THAT. Failure 13 Having asked for the right email address, it BOUNCED. Finally, I looked up your Corporate website and contacted the CorporatePR email address. I was called and the person agreed my experience had been dire, apologetic noises were made, and a few days later my refund finally appeared. Am I satisfied? No I am not. I am not a career complainer. I had a dire customer experience. No gesture of compensation was offered and it still makes me angry, a month on, at the bilge I trod through to get my money back. I will never shop with Curry’s again in my life.

Bought a Beko washing machine which at first sounded nice and quiet until the rapid spin, sounded like it was taking off! After 3 hours on the phone waiting i was told by 1 person nothing they can do about it other than send an engineer (i shouldnt need an engineer for a new washing machine), spoke to someone else who said i could take it back to store, brilliant, only to find out there are only certain stores that accept returns, none of them in liverpool! Beko have not got back to me either other than a bog standard email they send to everyone asking covid questions for an engineer to come round the house. Will never buy domestic appliances from currys ever again what a joke.

On 2nd Jan 2020 a new kenwood cooker arrived, they took our old one away cost£15.but to our horror the new cooker was badly damaged tried to ring the drivers but they didn't pick up. For nearly 3 hours tried custmers service's,eventually after being told wrong department got the right one her attitude at our dilemma was appalling, was told nothing could be done phone next day to speak to someone, they have now told us our cooker cannot be delivered till Wed 6th Jan. So 5 days without any means of being able to cook hot food, soo now costing us money to order hot meals. We are oap's and have found this so upsetting. How would you like it if I charged curry's for storing the battered cooker in our kitchen, you could and should have a delivery next day Monday.

Terrible service. Took delivery of Hotpoint washing machine. Installed by Know How guys. After kitchen flooded and checks proved that pipes were all connected as required, I arranged for engineer visit. Turned out drum had been badly cracked in transit, probably because of dropping, and this must have been apparent to installers. Now despite trying numerous times on line and via phone have got nowhere other than 1 agent offering me a 10% refund if I kept broken machine. Absolutely appalling!!!!

Review of Currys PC World Raj Ruparelia 1 review 12 minutes ago Thieving Currys I tried buying a fitbit watch online from Currys paying partly with a gift card and the balance with a debit card.before I completed the transaction I decided to come out of it. Later in the day I decided to buy the watch doing the same process. This time when I entered the gift card number the balance was zero. Upon enquiry with Currys they admitted taking the money out of the card even though I had not completed the transaction. I think think this amounts to fraud. I was told very arrogantly that I would be issued with a new gift card in 7 working days. This was not acceptable to me as I wanted to buy the watch on the day. I spent two and a half hours on the phone trying to resolve this without any joy. In my opinion Currys customer service is nonexistent and I will never ever buy any thing from them and advise all to avoid Currys. They should not be in business.

Ordered headphones to be delivered to a store. On the date agreed I went to collect these only to be told they had not arrived despite 2 telephone calls lasting 30 minutes to confirm they were there. Rang customer service again and they informed me (after another 30 minute phone call) that they had been lost in transit and I would have to wait 14 days for an investigations and my money back. Absolute disgrace. Would never order from them online again.
