Ordered a fridge and washing machine and paid extra for it to be delivered in an afternoon time slot. I had a missed call and voicemail off the delivery drivers saying they would be 5-10 minutes, no one ever showed. Rang customer services where they said they'd look into and get back to me, which no one did. I rang again the next day where I was told that the delivery drivers have developed a habit of just not turning up if no one answers the phone call. I was told the next delivery slot isn't for a few days so now I'm left without vital kitchen appliances! Delivery drivers need firing perhaps?!

Customer service non existent, blatantly refuse to deliver their contractual obligations by ignoring the problem and expecting the customer to go away and leave them to fleece more unsuspecting customers. A recipe for failure of this once successful store.

On hold for over an hour. Bad customer service. I’ll be cancelling the three policies I have and won’t be shopping with them again.

I bought a fridge freezer online. It broke within 6 months and I had a replacement. The same model of fridge freezer has broken again within 5 months, but because a part can be replaced on it, I am unable to return the item for a refund or for a different model. Absolutely disgusted! I foresee me having to go through this again in another 6 months time, and losing yet another freezer full of food. I will never be buying from currys again. The fridge freezer is Grundig GKF15810DN.

Do wish I had come and read these reviews before going online to Currys. I am disabled my husband is my full time carer not well himself has arthritis. Anyhow, our washing machine broke down on the Saturday just gone, 19th October 2019, looked online at various washers and found Currys to be the most reasonable, money wise. How wrong could I have been. Delivery of an Indesit 9 kg 1600 rpm booked for Sunday 20th October, yesterday, paid for £20 and disposal of our old one another £20 total cost £319.00, delivery came whilst I was in the shower and my husband had showed the guys delivering around the back way to bring washing machine into the kitchen. Alas they did not get into the kitchen with it as my husband asked the driver to check and make sure it wasn't damaged, good job he did as it had a large scratch across the side which was going rusty. Oh, the driver said after my husband had said we wanted our money back, only get my disability money and this was a purchase that wasn't planned, the driver said that we could have 15% off as it was only cosmetic, hearing this through the open shower window I replied, No will have money back and go elsewhere, after this driver got on his phone to someone, a woman who's message to the driver was that we could have another machine, same make the next morning, today 21st October, 2019, after a bad night my husband helped me up early so I was awake enough to have a shower before Currys arrived, time went on and on no delivery. Around 10.00 I contacted them, after going through some awful music for 30 mins and then pressing the right number to get the right person, awful music came again for another 15 mins, then a male voice answered so gave him all the details he then said he would put me through to someone who could help me, I thanked him and then waited another 10 mins before someone else answered my call, and when he said the order had been cancelled couldn't believe my ears, after explaining or thought I had passed him over to my husband who told him exactly what I had said. This guy from Curry's had phoned somewhere while my husband had waited and said they had to cancel the number we had in the beginning as we had the delivery and another dept needed to raise another delivery note for another to be sent out, but the 2nd machine would be coming around midday. Great, No, machine was perfect not a blemish on it, driver and co went off my husband got to work and after plumbing it back in, adjusting feet to level it etc., had to first wash it through to clean any residue out from factory, then tried our best to get stuck in to 4 days of washing, but this machine was faulty making strange noises, computer thingy all haywire all sorts wrong. Husband called the Indesit technician who said an engineer could be with us Thursday this week, for goodness sake want to do the washing, no laundry to take it to, nobody to ask for help and no washing machine, the tech guy speaking to my husband heard the noises the machine was making and agreed there was something seriously wrong with it, couldn't wait until Thursday washing piling up and this never happens always wash every day. So tech guy issued a special ticket so that we could have another exchange, after my husband came off phone to him rang local Currys, yes went through same process as I did this morning, eventually 40 mins later a voice on the other end, husband explained all then asked if we could choose a different machine and any difference down to Currys for the stress that this has caused us, as by now I was in tears over it, husband was told yes he could choose another make but when asked about delivering one tomorrow, we are roughly 7 miles away from where they are got told that we could maybe have a call to confirm anything on either Wednesday or Thursday this week, apparently all booked up for tomorrow, yet when looking online at curry's they have machines available for delivery tomorrow, yes they charge for it but they have drivers who could bring out a machine free of charge to us. We are that fed up with Curry's just want my money back and go elsewhere to a decent company, but have been told by Curry's it will take at least 5 days to put back in our account, and we can't afford to go and get another until money is back, so do not have any choice but to suffer more and wait for Curry's to ring maybe Wednesday fingers crossed so we can have and I pray a decent washing machine. You just could not make anything up like this, we are so stressed wish I had seen this site before would never have gone to Curry's. So sorry it's a long moan but thought I would just tell our experience that we have had.

I ordered a printer online from Currys and chose the in-store pickup option because I needed the printer urgently and that seemed to be the most cost effective way. My item was promised to be delivered on the next day by 5pm, and the confirmation email said that I would get a email when my item was ready for collection. On the next day, it’s way past 5pm and I got nothing, so I phone the helpline, and had to wait for about 20 mins to get connected. The agent confirmed that my item was delivered and I could go to the store and collect it the next day. I travelled across London to the store and guess what, it was not there, and I needed the printer by the next day. I was so frustrated and called the helpline. It was another 20 mins of waiting, and all they said was that there’s nothing they can do but to file investigation! With a stroke of luck there was an Argos next door and I went in to buy the same printer for the same price. My order is still “under investigation” and I won’t get a refund until it’s concluded. God knows how long that will take! Lesson learners and I’ll never buy from Currys again.

I purchased a new American style fridge freezer in October 2019. I paid for delivery which includes the delivery team placing the appliance in the kitchen. Unfortunately the delivery team said they could not get it through the door. I ended up having to drive 60 miles back home and luckily enough I have a small pallet truck which my wife and I used to bring the freezer in to the kitchen. It fitted perfectly with 40mm gap! The deliver team left it in the pouring rain on my drive! I then complained to Curry's and I had an e mail back saying their customer service department is only on line and any complaints regarding deliveries must be made to the shop directly. I don't have the time to do that which is what I guess their customer services team rely on so cant follow this up further but would definitely recommend you don't buy from here as the service is terrible.

Why buy from them ? you are million times better buying from ARGOS OR AMAZON mostly for cheaper than Currys PC world . At Old Kent Road currys Staffs are rude disrespectful once they sold you their product. Do not buy anything from these monkeys They are a joke of a company. I have seen a lot of people having arguments in Currys store many times I was wondering why was that ? Now I know I why . Read the reviews before you buy . Currys Pc world ... Avoid Avoid Avoid

Purchased a Samsung washing machine and tumble dryer online on the 8/10/19. Full payment was taken from my account on the 9/10/19. Tumble dryer delivery detail were sent via email and i received it on the 12/10/19. No delivery information was provided for the washing machine apart from it was on back order due to being out of stock. I waited for days with no updates regarding anticipated stock delivery and onward delivery to myself. I contacted Currys on their Team Know How number. After a 30 minute wait i was told they would be back in stock on the 18/10/19 and out to me on the 19/10/19 a confirmation email would be sent. A few days passed and no email was received. I contacted them again and was told the same thing. Again no confirmation email was received. Contacted them again this morning to be told after a 30 minute wait that they couldnt tell me when i was going to receive the washing machine and i should call back tomorrow. This evening i get a text through informing me that great news awaited me, my washing machine was now in stock with Currys and due to be delivered to me on the 25/10/19. 16 days after they had taken payment in full for it. I rang them again to wait 20 minutes to speak to a rude man who said he couldnt help me / didnt want to help me. He said i will put you through to someone that could try and help me, before i could respond he had put me back on hold, i waited for another 20 minutes, 40 minutes in total before i thought no one is going to answer and put the phone down. Terrible customer service and after care. Avoid Currys at all costs, save yourself the disappointment

Delivery was confirmed by Curry's for a fridge freezer. Tracker said in was on way and eta would be met. End of slot, I called customer service as I now desperately needed a fridge freezer as I had taken the old one out. The system still showed out for delivery & ETA by time slot that had passed. On contact; "sorry driver ran out of time" "he should have rang", "we appreciate it would have been on a van, but you can't have it following day", "Good news (they said), we have booked you a special delivery in two days!!!!!" Don't expect much satisfaction from customer services; if they don't deliver, to be honest, they will not care. I opted to go for a more reliable competitor and will think twice next time about who I order with. As far my food stuffs requiring refrigeration, perhaps I should take them to the store in a black bin bag for their disposal..

I am utterly disgusted at just how poorly customer treats it's customer. I would even my worst enemy to go and shop anywhere but Currys. To put it into perspective just how bad they are, I am taking Currys to small claims court and their defiance and attitude is absolutely disgraceful! I have the contact details for the CEO so perhaps if all the people on here who have left a one star review contact him, maybe eventually one of the messages may slip past the incompetent escalations team and reach him. My advice, shop anywhere but Currys for your electronics because 66% of the reviews are one star and Currys don't give a damn whether your product works or not, IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!! Give your money to a store that cares about you or your products. John Lewis offers two years warranty for free on the things they sell yet Currys won't even give you your statutory rights. Utter disgrace!!!

Wish I could give a minus rating. Ordered 2 items, A new Samsung TV and a Samsung washing machine, over £1500 for them both. Told the TV would be in on the Friday and the washing machine delivered on the following Tuesday.Went to the store, over 50 miles round trip, and it wasn't there, delivered Sat so another round trip. Waited in for washing machine all day Tuesday, nothing, old machine given away, Rang Wednesday, not in stock till Friday so delivery after that. Out now till Sunday afternoon then away as its half term. No machine for clean clothes to go away with..... Will be cancelling this order and getting one from AO on next day delivery when we get back.

Rubbish customer service. We had the freezer broken since day 1 and the manufacter couldn't contact them, as is the customer who has to give permission for a replacement. Two days calling them and waiting for over an hour over the phone. Besides it was us, the customer, dealing with everything and chasing everyone, it's us as well who will have to pay for the phone bills. And even thougbwe couldn't contact them! I had to call back the manufacter to put me through their line. And guess what, after all, curry's still had to speak to the manufacter for arranging the replacement. Makes no sense and they are time and money wasters!

Purchased a panasonic camcorder which was £199.99 & total trash, definitely not fit for any purpose. Had to argue with very rude staff in store to get a refund. Stick with Amazon guys and they are cheaper.

I would strongly urge anyone thinking about using curry’s - don’t do it!!! They are absolutely the worst company i have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Ordered American fridge freezer June 2019. 4 failed deliveries, multiple phone calls to customer services, endless complaints. I do now have a fridge freezer - but They have t completed the order and now have live wires hanging out of my kitchen wall (it was supposed to be hard wired in). Lost days waiting in and food loss not compensated - their customer services are shocking - ignoring correspondence, they don’t read the case so it goes around in circles, treat customers as dumb animals. Now looking at taking to court for 5 instances of breach of contract and compensation for losses and also informing trading standards as my home has been left unsafe.

Absolutely abysmal service Ordered a cooker on the 23rd of September which couldn’t be delivered until the 4th of October. It arrived on the 4th of October with nobody able to fit it a service that was promised and paid for . Today is the 11th of October and the third time that they have failed to meet an installation program that have been booked in advance in each occasion I am currently awaiting a call from the customer relations department but my advice is stay clear of Currys know how at all costs they really don’t care and the trouble and additional costs that they have caused is utterly unacceptable in this day and age . Be warned .
