I should reed these reviews before i bought my Inspiron all in one desc top !! Is absolutely horrible , I use my PC to pay bills most of the time, and is failing on that to. Takes about 5 minutes to boot from zero, and every command is slow, like I'm using a dial up service (I have 1G speed from comcast). At the beginning I thought is slow because is constantly making updates, but after about 30 days I realized that is getting slower by the day , so I contacted Dell customer support and they tried to remotely repair it , but at the end they sent an empty box to send in for repairs. A week later computer came back stating on the repair sheet that the hard drive was replaced. on the coming days the computer is slowing down day by day so I call in again, now a tech from Dell remotely access my computer and delete some drivers , so I'm not able to access the internet anymore. They sending a second empty box to send it in for repairs. After another week computer coming back , with the same problem, extremely slow, this time they claiming that they reinstalled the operating system. I'ts an endless story with Dell, horrible experience, even worst customer service , never buy any product from Dell again in my life

On August 4 I ordered a fire stick 4k with a promised delivery date of August 9. On August 10 I received an email stating delivery would be delayed until August 19. On August 13 am I called customer service and was told that the item was being shipped today. I asked him if he was sure then he transferred me to another Dept. where she told me that it was supposed to be restocked and someone would contact me within 24 hrs. Later I checked my account and found that my order had been canceled. I called customer service again and was told that pay pal did not accept my charge. I asked that he accept my credit card but he couldn't and transferred me to another Dept. I was connected to a machine that told me the item was not in stock. Why was I not told this in the beginning instead of wasting my time.

The absolutely worst computer I have had. I have not been able to do any of the minor things I use a computer for since I got it. Can't print anything for a myriad of popups asking something stupid, and then still can't print. I can't wait to get rid of it!!!!!!

I ordered a new XPS tower computer. I ordered a DVD drive thinking it would be mounted internally. Now I find out Dell is sending me a external DVD drive. I didn't want this. I have been trying to talk to someone at Dell to straighten it out. I can't get hold of anyone. Dell support is as bad as I have seen. The one time I was on the phone with them, I was having a hard time understanding him. I wish they would hire people that could speak good English. I also wish I would have never thought Dell, and I don't even have the computer yet. I didn't know computer companies even built computers that a internal DVD drive couldn't be mounted in.

Got a super slow laptop that was supposed to run fast. It's a pain turning it on or restarting it every single time. My 4 year old laptop runs faster than this piece of junk. The support wouldn't help saying my "software warranty" is over and I would have to pay an arm and a leg to get support. Seriously they tried to sell extended warranty to me for a quarter of the cost of the laptop and saying it's discounted already. I had bought Dell for the past 2 decades and the company is becoming a cash grab. They don't care about the consumers as much as they did before. This will be my last Dell product EVER.

Spent over a thousand pounds on a laptop that was broken. After spending numerous hours with engineers trying to diagnose and fix the issue it still didn't work. I asked for my money back which they initially refused being out of 14 day return policy. After I sent laptop back off expecting my refund within 5 days I've waited over two weeks with no refund and no laptop. DON'T BUY FROM DELL!!

Worst customer and technical support. Within two months after purchasing a laptop worth Rs. 65000 the hard drive got destroyed and laptop got unoperational. This happened on Thursday night and I contacted customer support early in the morning on Friday seeking for technical assistance ASAP (being a working professional). Now this guy is telling me nothing is possible before Tuesday since I m calling on Friday. R u crazy man? Why the hell are you even owning such big names if you can't provide timely technical assistance. I requested him a lot for looking into something ASAP, and still he was not at all ready to provide assistance on Friday. Instead he was asking me whether I m aware of the bad weather conditions in Mumbai or not. Seriously dude?? Shutdown all your Mumbai dell stores in Mumbai during the monsoon season as you have shutdown your technical assistance. Worst technical support. Sitting idle, all my projects on halt because of this fault since 3 days. Just call them asking for antivirus renewal they will come running for 1000 rs. But ask them to repair a faulty device even if you are a VIP customer and you have given them 2000 Rs. Extra for technical assistance, they wont pay any heed. WORST WORST WORST TECHNICAL SUPPORT!! HP people much better than you. No one should buy dell laptops. I would have given less than 1 star if I could.

its very rare that I will give a negative review but on this occasion I felt strongly to write and warn future customers the pitfalls I encountered when trying to purchase a dell laptop. Firstly a very frustrating experience trying to get through to the correct dept after many calls. I explained that I wanted a laptop for a birthday present for a family member stating that on your website it stated a 1-3 days delivery time...could they confirm this?..I was told it would be 3 weeks, which was frustrating ..I was then promised a price match as per website for 30 days which was sent and confirmed in writing with a order number via email..48hrs later I rang to confirm the purchase only to be told that someone would contact me the following day...true to their promise I got the phone call and after a short conversation was told that the price I was given would not be honoured and had gone up by 20%..when I questioned this dell was very unsympathetic ..what annoys me about these large companies is that there customer service is appalling ..if this is the treatment you get at the beginning what sort of service do you get once a purchase has been made..I have no faith in dealing with them again and now having read some of the other reviews would warn others of the same.

The last month have been a total nightmare with Dell customer support - through trying to get a shipping date on my computer, trying to cancel it, and now being charged money for a computer they said they've cancelled has been nothing short of the worst customer support experience I've ever had. To start, I bought an Alienware Auora R8 on July 11th. About two weeks later, I got a message saying that my order would be delayed until September, and I would have to consent to this new change. I never did. Then, about a week later, I got an email saying that my order had shipped. I called customer support, they walked me through to cancelling the order and said that the computer would be recalled and that I would not be charged for the computer. This morning I was charged for a computer that I was told I wouldn't be charged for. This is some pure incompetency. I NEVER consented to the change in delivery date, and now Dell has my money and my frustration. Customer Support has been anything but empathetic to my situation. Hoping to have a little resolve on here. Thanks.

WARNING: Never buy a computer from DELL because DELL has the worst customer care team and worst office personnel. Please read the entire post and then comment. I ordered on-line a high-powered, expensive DELL computer to do my photo processing. Ten days later DELL sent me an e-mail telling me the computer has been shipped via FedEx expedited shipping. DELL even gave me a FedEx tracking number. Every day for the past week I have checked with FedEx and they keep telling me that DELL did create a mailing label but DELL failed to give the package to FedEx. I have tried countless times to discuss the issue with the DELL Customer Care people in India and have not received a straight answer. In fact, every DELL person gives me a different explanation as to why I have not received the DELL computer. The only common theme among the DELL answers is that I should not be worried that the computer is lost. Meanwhile, my credit card has already been hit with the charge and DELL has been paid. So of course DELL is not concerned if I ever get the computer because DELL has my $2200. Today, I went to DELL’s main administrative building at the DELL headquarters in Round Rock Texas. I asked calmly to talk to someone / anyone that might be able to help. First the rude receptionist told me that “we do not deal with Customer Care here, you need to do that via phone or on-line to India”. I told her that I have been doing that several times per day for a week, but she did not care. I then asked to talk to someone in sale and was given exactly the same DELL-scripted answer. I then asked to talk to someone in the legal department. She then called DELL security and I was told to leave the DELL campus under the threat of being physically forced from the premises. At my age and health, I am not about to be physically manhandled by DELL security thugs, so I left. I am now working with my bank to dispute the credit card charge that has paid to DELL. If that does not work I plan to hire a lawyer to sue DELL for breach of contract / fraud / threat of physical violence. NEVER buy a computer from DELL.

I was sent an already malfunctioning laptop, and because I sent it back a little over the 30 day return policy (I paid for a year warranty) they won't exchange it, they will only attempt to fix it. But now I have no faith in their product and engineers, since they weren't able to catch the mistakes to begin with. I just want a laptop that works, not one that is brand new and broken. This was my first time with Dell, I will not be choosing it again.

Bought my laptop last year. Within 2 months the battery goes bad and says no battery detected. So I sent it in, got it back and the laptop worked for a week. Then the same issue, no battery detected. Then the speakers go bad, mouse pad glitches. Send it in a second time. Got it back, my ac adapter comes back frayed and fried! Screen is popping off, mouse pad still does not work, sane with the speakers! So I send it in for a third time! The tech over the phone said it was ok that I sent in my universal adaptor from Best Buy, and that they would repair all stated above. I get a call 4 days later after they got it and said that they can’t do the repair cause I don’t have the original ac adapter! Wanted to charge me over $100 for the repair! Then the tech saw the notes and said it would take another 3-4 days. Took over a week! I get it back today, the shipping box has no damage. I open it, and some glass falls out, then I open the laptop and the screen is completely shattered and not to mention the $60 adapter I bought from Best Buy is now damaged! I spent about $900 on the laptop itself and I am furious! Now they are telling me it’ll take another 3-4 days to get back to me about what they can do for me... I will never buy another dell product ever!!!!

Awful. I thought my purchase was Net 90 @ 0% interest on a Dell Business Account I've had for over a decade, and discovered it wasn't and I'd been charged 29.24% interest. Who bills people 29.24 interest with a credit score of almost 800? I called customer service, then got transferred to the collection department, sat forever, finally hung up. I called back, again lines garbled, then a lady called me back, who spoke English at least. She has turned in a request to give me the 90 days, but will charge me interest while I wait for that to be granted. I asked to pay but they won't take a credit card. YIKES. Please hire people who speak English well, and give them a cubical so the phone isn't dizzying with the sound of a call center. Also, business credit at 29.24% with a high credit score is robbery, especially if it was supposed to be a 90 days at 0%. I've only bought Dell since 1997 and this purchase is a MAJOR disappointment. In addition, don't by a top of the line Vostro, go for Latitude.

Purchased a dell inspiron 15 3567 on 11-27-19 from amazon.com, I was told that I had one yr mail-in service and call in support. I called into dell several times and was told each time that I needed elevated support at a fee. in time I resolved each issue on my own. so much for dell notice small d in dell. they had me on the phone for a very long time as well. This unit came with one TB of HD, 8GB of Ram, 8Ghtz . this is twice as much as the sony it replaced. I am always waiting for this unit to open an application and some times I can eat a sandwich in the time it takes. my Sony is always waiting for me. I will never, ever purchase a dell again.

I purchased a Dell Inspiron 5459 computer in December, 2015 and got a 4 year premium support and accidental damage service warranty with it. Approximately 3 weeks ago, when I went to log on in the morning, the screen was blank and the computer would not turn on. I immediately called Dell support and was told I had to send the computer and AC adapter to them to have their technicians repair it. The customer service agent said they would send me a box to send it to them in along with prepaid mailing label and a form for me to fill out explaining the problem. He said there was a place on the form asking if I wanted them to replace the hard drive and reinstall the operating system but I should say I did not want them to do that and to sign the paperwork. I sent the computer and adapter in and in a few days I got an email saying "our records show that the repairs were cancelled as when the depot technicians contacted you to check if they could replace the HDD that they found be a possible point of failure, you declined repairs" and that they were sending the computer back to me. No one ever contacted me regarding this problem. When I received the computer, paperwork included in the box said "the following repairs or parts have been repaired or replaced on the unit - hard drive replaced and operating system reinstalled". So, did they wipe my hard drive or not? I didn't know. I connected the AC adapter to the computer and tried to turn it on. I still had the same problem, nothing on the screen, and the computer would not turn on. By now I'm totally disgusted with the whole thing and decided to take the computer to a local computer repair guy I've worked with before. He connected my computer to an AC adapter he had in his shop and the computer came on immediately. We determined that they, in fact, did not replace the hard drive or reinstall the operating system as the paperwork said they did. I sent them an e-mail explaining what happened and saying I expect them to send me a new AC adapter to replace the broken one. Still waiting to hear back from them. Obviously, I am very dissatisfied with the service I've received from Dell and this experience will definitely influence any decisions I make when purchasing computers in the future.

Customer service is atrocious. Hold music is the most irritating EVER. They changed customer pay site and now my account is overdue and I spent TWO HOURS trying to resolve this simple problem. Once I was able to log in i got an error message that would not allow me to pay. Two customer service agents tried to force me to pay by phone and would not transfer me to the next agent. I refuse to pay over the phone. Now - customer service will call me in 24 to 48 hours. I will never buy a Dell computer again. The one I bought two months ago is junk and they force you to use McAffy virus "control" and every other option. I cannot turn it off no matter how I try. Frustrated beyond belief. Run.

My higher end dell computer broke 3 times in the 1st year. Their "award winning" customer support is an absolute nightmare. I've been a loyal customer to dell for the last 20 years and it has slipped so much. Never again will I purchase from them.
