If I could give less than a 1 I would. I read the policy, and my receipt and went to return. The customer rep said it was 30 days of purchase. NO WHERE does it say that. They are scamming people. I will NEVER order from Dillards again.

I truly feel that I was racially profiled. I went into to Dillard's on June 13, 2024 to look around for sales and/past time. I felt like I was at a car lot. I was bombarded and followed in every area I went. I went to smell some perfumes, and the woman at the counter came around the counter to watch me smell the perfumes. She was barely 3ft away. I felt so uncomfortable. I told her I didn't need any help, and that I was just smelling the fragrances. She looked at me and said that's fine, and proceeded to watch me. There were other people in the store but I needed supervision at her counter I guess. I was very annoyed so I walked off to look at some Bogg bags and I saw her from afar watching me. I was so aggravated. It was so embarrassing because I had my children with me. I finally just left. I tried to be optimistic about the encounter, because I was in the store for maybe 20 minutes. But who knew that you had a time limit to shop.

I can see from the reviews I am not the only one that finds Dillards return policy awful. I ordered two of the exact same dress for an event in May—two different sizes as I was unsure which would be the best fit. I returned the brand new dress, in the size I decided not to keep, just a few days beyond the 30 day window. The dress was on my doorstep today with a note saying no returns after 30 days. I contacted customer service to see if I could perhaps get store credit because my return was so soon after the deadline. I was advised with no hesitation that the policy is strict and that I cannot return or receive credit. The agent didn’t even pretend to look into my concerns. Moving forward, I will be shopping with more customer friendly companies. Based on your reviews, it appears I am joining quite a few others in saying that you lost a customer today.

Dillards in Collierville has the most unethical Employee in their history. Micah claimed to be a " Manager". I watched the video of him yelling and screaming at this woman. Falsely accusing her if fraud! He obviously lied. He behaved like a maniac. While she calming asks why did you "FLAG MY GIFT CARD AND STEAL MY MONEY". He then calls security. She shows her Id and card to JIMMY he say" "What am I supposed to do with that " lets go get out of my store! I want you out. Obviously Dillard's is his store as she complies and is leaving. He is behind her on the escalator making horrible remarks she's holding her phone up recording. She says you are nasty person and he said oh I'm going to get even nastier when I get to the door . He does he can be heard stating if you come back in my store I'm going to stick my foot up your. @--calling her a black ghetto b word and saying more things that I rather not type as she that talks to him he says that he doesn't give a duck and Dillard's won't do spit. He can be seen is on this video he is a white older Slender Man with messed up teeth. It really touched me when I seen this video because this woman has my last name it let me know that it could have easily been me. Dillards should be ashamed. But nine times out of 10 they are not please go watch the video. I wouldn't recommend shopping here to anyone!!!!

I have been a loyal customer for years, and everyone in women’s shoes and misses knows me by name. Today a new employee shows up and wants to do things her way. I have been a cardholder for years, and I know I have 60 days to return an item, but she wouldn’t return it for me. She returned one and not the other. Then she asked for my DL even though she knew who I was from the first item returned on my card. She was rude and didn’t know how to handle the situation. She wanted to give me a gift card first, then she decided to give me credit for the item. What a mess! I asked to talk to the manager, and she had a worse attitude. She wanted to talk in front of everyone. I told her customers are not invited in offices anymore. She took me to a bigger room called it an office. She kept standing up to intimidate me. She was as rude and useless as her staff member. As I left, I told her that I will never shop at Dillard’s Hulen mall, and I will spread the word to my followers.

Return policy is unbelievable. I purchase for Dillard's often. I purchased a top and their clothes are not cheap. The top was too big. I called to see if I could return and the answer was no! Their policy is 30 days from purchase, this is online. I was thinking 30 days from receiving the order. Nope, a couple days late and they could have waived those days instead of losing a customer. My family will never shop Dillard's again. Times are hard and business is not what it use to be. They are going to regret losing customers. There are other stores that are just as good if not better. Good luck Dillard's!!!!!!

Purchase an item. Wrong size. No purchase receipt in package. Store will not return for correct size. I am forced to keep item that is too big. Jennie S

My package was delivered to the wrong address. They blame me. I spoke to someone in customer service. They were very rude. They talk to me trying to belittle me didn’t wanna take any responsibilities of the error blame everything on me told me I would not get a refund the shoes was delivered to someone else so now I have no product And still has to pay $120 ask for corporate number I was told that they wouldn’t not respond to me that I had to talk to them. I was being belittled spoke to rudely never resolved the situation. I was told to call my creditor and see if they can help. This is a company that I was ordering from Since 2019 I will never order another thing from dealers. You should read the reviews before you do.

Terrible return policy. There are no Dillards in the Northeastern United States, limiting options to return to only shipping. If you miss the deadline by only a few days, you can not return, even for a credit. There are too many online suppliers with better return policies. Choose another. Don't use Dillards.

Went to Dillard’s and the workers at the cologne counters were amazing. They were extremely helpful and nice. I loved my experience at Dillard’s and will definitely be going back.

When I placed my order I didn't check the return policy assuming Dillard's had a better return policy. I assumed it is a more upstanding store and would take back an item within 60 days. My mistake. I called to ask for a credit and that was not an option either. The item is still being sold which irritated me even more. I will no longer shop at Dillard's because of the terrible return policy. And lack of store credit policy for an item that is still in circulation. You have lost this customer. But you probably don't care. Return policy sucks!

I ordered candles for my.mother for mothers day. Paid for 2 day expedited shipping. 2 days later receive an email saying they would be delivered a week later. I called customer service to get the shipping refunded. The woman says I ordered may 9th. My confirmation email I recieve after ordering on may 8th says may 8th as well.as my credit card charge for may 8th. She argued and told.me.i didn't order them on the 8th. Like wth lady She gave me a snark comment and told.me to email her supervisor. So I did. She said he will respond to you but you probably won't be refunded because our computer shows may 9th. I am still awaiting a response. Thanks.dillards for ruining mothers day. Do NOT EVER order from dillards. If my shipping is not refunded there will be a lawsuit. For the principal of the company screwing people over.

I went in looking for a Dress and heels for my 30th Birthday. I asked some ladies for help they just pointed me to a direction but non of them took the time to help, so I was frustrated 😠. I make my way around the mall and I end up in the Dillard's Men Dept and this guy was willing to help me he walked with me to the women's dept and he even asked them for help and they did him the same way. So he takes it upon himself to stay with me and help he sees another employee and she helped me too, and we find what I need and we go to the shoes area and another employee named Jeff made this experience so fun! These are the type of employees everyone needs! I left Happy 😊 I want to Thank them a Million times !! The girl was Jordan and the guy was from the men's Dept but they deserve a raise or bonus!!! They never left my side and was so supportive.

I was very discouraged when I returned an item . It was Esther Lauder make up. When I purchased it before going on a cruise, I was told I could return it if it did not work for me. When I returned it with the yellow stickers on it . I was told I could only get a gift card, which was not what I understood would be the case., if I returned it! It was not one of those three day return deals and it was not on sale ! It was very obvious that the person working with me did not want to be bothered, and it was even worse when I went upstairs to customer service. The lady there was answering the phones as well as working with me. She was very rude , did not want to be bothered and had zero customer service skills! I have been a Dillards customer for years and years, but when I walked out, I said I would never walk in that store and purchase another thing! Never ever will I shop here again. I asked to extend the return policy only by a few days. I was sick in the hospital!!! No understanding at all. Awful customer service. I will continue to shop at Nordstrom!!!!!!! I would give a negative star if I could. Very disappointed. I will be writing negative reviews on every platform I can.

The 30-day return policy is my major complaint, especially when you have to pay shipping charges to return items via mail. Nordstrom has free shipping for purchases and returns and no strict return date. The merchandise is similar.

We needed a dress for my daughter and saw the one she liked but it had a big hole in the back so we left the store and decided to order a new dress online. Dillards actually sent us the ripped dress with the hole in it . When we called they pretended like it was a different dress and only offered a small discount to keep it with hole. The fact they sent it knowing it had a hole was very shady
