Is DPD UK at all civilized courier company? It is truly mocking the clients via WhatsApp via automatic robot. Not possible to get a live agent. My post code is noted in their system as “not recognized” 1 parcel today returned to the sender. It is true it is a new built, but if all the other delivery service in Edinburgh can find it (Royal mail, Amazon and other), DPD should also. They have at least our mobile number. On last Thursday someone called me, I clearly explained exactly location, then I saw in system “no address found”. After attempting chat with DPD-not possible because post code was not found. Why then accepted the parcel from sender if “post code of receiver” is not found? Disgusting service, how can it be allowed to operate at all?

My DPD Parcel Tracking Number is 1550 3092 996 133 Y. I don't typically leave reviews, but I feel compelled to do so today due to an incredibly frustrating customer service experience I had. The above parcel tracking number is for a delivery scheduled for today, on 06/11/2023. At 8:55 a.m. this morning, I received an email from DPD informing me that my parcel would be delivered sometime between 07:00 and 22:00 today. Naturally, I was surprised by the lack of specificity in the delivery window. I decided to call the DPD Customer Service Number, which is based in Sunny South Africa. My conversation started with a male customer service agent who was unhelpful and lacked enthusiasm. He couldn't explain why the guaranteed one-hour delivery slot wasn't provided in the email or visible in the live tracking. After placing me on hold for nearly 5 minutes, he returned to inform me that he had spoken to the local delivery depot and that the one-hour delivery slot would be provided. However, he couldn't provide a timeframe or estimate how long this process would take. Since I had errands to run, waiting indefinitely without a specific delivery time was not an option. I requested some form of waiting time, and that's when the agent's attitude took a turn for the worse. He responded with a dismissive "I don't know," stopped communicating with me, and even laughed rudely into his microphone before abruptly ending the call. I was shocked and decided to call back immediately. This time, a female agent answered the call. I calmly explained the situation with the previous agent, and she listened attentively. However, when it was her turn to respond, she claimed the call quality was poor and pretended she couldn't hear me. She then hung up the call. At this point, I began to notice a troubling pattern but hoped it was just an unfortunate coincidence with two unhelpful agents. So, I made a third call and was connected to another female agent. I didn't bother explaining the previous interactions and went straight to asking if she could provide me with my one-hour delivery slot. However, since she could see that I had called before and it seemed like a small customer service office, this agent was exceptionally rude. She bluntly told me that she wouldn't contact the depot to obtain my one-hour delivery slot and that I should wait all day until my parcel is delivered. She claimed she couldn't assist me with anything else and hung up without allowing me to respond. This entire experience has been truly disappointing. I still don't have my one-hour delivery time slot, and I have no point of contact within DPD to resolve this issue. One thing is certain—I won't use this courier service again, and I will make sure to inform all my business partners to avoid them as well.

No attempt made to deliver the parcel Followed tracking to within 2 miles of my address only to have an email " sorry we missed you" At no time did they attempt to deliver the parcel but left it at a drop off point. This was an 18 mile round journey to collect at 7pm. No reason given or attempt of delivery after paying for next day. I will not place an order with any firm using DPD in future.

Delivery Driver Bobby missed my delivery today. Arrived at the place, took a picture and left without calling/ringing the doorbell, expecting me to have a crystal ball to know when he was downstairs. I was following his van around and knew he was close, but how was I supposed to know he was here? Absolutely terrible service, won't recommend ever again and will avoid having parcels delivered by you unless strictly necessary.

Driver Gurdeep is a total LIAR he claimed he missed me today at 1.10 where cctv, myself and his GPS tracker proves he was not anywhere close to this address The company have no contact number to contact the driver, its disgusting that a driver thinks he can get away without delivering parcels not even a contact card was left Customer service representative M was also appalling doesn't give a stuff about the customer only interested in her pay at end of the month. Huffing and puffing down the phone quite clear not bothered Was told I would get a call from a manager 2hrs 30 later still no call No parcel been delivered Company that was used for next day delivery informed of the appalling lack of customer service given by DPD So no call from Customer Complaints and no call from a Manager as stated would happen 03/11 so there is a section where you can amend where parcel to be left to be honest this section is pointless I filled it out to be left in Greenhouse but to knock and ring doorbell 1st, this never happened the driver leaves it outside the front door on a soaking wet mat (the item was in a box) didn't ring doorbell or knock. He clai.s the item was left in porch when he didn't even open the door It's quite clear DPD are not bothered how they treat the customers or the people who use them to deliver the parcel if the company that I used for item gets enough complaints about service then they will look elsewhere.

They pulled up in front of me while I was using an angle grinder to cut the lock of an abandoned bike, attached to our railings. The shower of sparks was something that could not be missed. The driver got out opened the back of his van, I put my tool down, walked to the gate, began opening the gate. He then got back in the cab, took a picture of me and then drove off. When I asked the CallCenter to send him back, they said he could not find the address and the address was wrong. Where to begin? They then sent me a picture of me standing at the gate in front of the building to prove that I was not in and that the address was wrong. It would be funny if I had not ordered this item for a specific job, taking place tomorrow, for which I will now not get paid and for which I have paid extra money to be delivered quickly today.

DPD CONTACT OUR LOCAL CUSTOMERS DROP OFF POINT ,SAID DO NOT ACCEPT ANYMORE PARCELS FROM ME BECAUSE IM JUST A PAYING GOOD CUSTOMER,DPD WILL NOT ADMIT PARCELS ARE NOT BEING COLLECTED FOR 3-4 DAYS AT A TIME ,WHRN MY CUSTOMERS PAY NEXT DAY DELIVERY AND DO NOT RECIEVE FOR 5-6 DAYS I TAKE THE COMPLSINTS.

Couldn’t believe the driver had damaged my property he drove over my garden ? I have contacted DPD but guess what no one bothered About their drivers vandalising property . I am now waiting on the police for this matter as I have footage.

Lets get this straight DPD are absolutely useless. I ordered on Thursday for next working day delivery. The parcel reached the local depot early Friday morning and then DPD changed the delivery to Monday and had the audacity to write that I requested the change. Ridiculous! Why would I pay £7 for next day delivery then change it to 4 day delivery? Monday comes around, I have a time for my delivery... Hallelujah! The time is coming... the driver is 10 stops away, around 2 miles from my location when they update and say they couldn't find my address! Of course you can't... you are 2 miles away! I speak to a customer advisor who tells me that they removed part of my address (a crucial part to help finding my address) so it would work with their systems which meant they couldn't find me..... it blows my mind!!! I request it is taken to the local pickup point, which coincidently I live above, as this is what their site says they do on failed delivery.... sorry sir can't be done as we couldn't attempt the delivery as we couldn't find your address! What options are open to me I ask in desperation? Well, the advisor says, I can add details to find your address.... I ask him to re-add the bit they deleted.... alas no can't do that, won't work with the systems... Have you got the 3 words? he asks... I tell him that the 3 words will bring him to the local delivery point as I live right above it! Any other options? I'm advised to contact the people I ordered from and ask them to change it..... What? Seriously? I put everything in correctly, the people I bought from put it in correctly.... its DPD who f***ed it all up..... and I should add NOT FOR THE FIRST TIME! I tell you people give Hermes/Evri sh*t for being bad but DPD are the epitome of a terrible delivery service!

Upgrade Phone from Tesco Mobile, asked to be delivered to a neighbor (a business address). Got the delivery confirmation with the name of the receiver "HI" Went through all the whole neighborhood, more than 20 addresses on the main road nothing was found. Called Tesco Mobile, but they couldn't / wouldn't help. Called DPD they put me on hold for ages, then said they couldn't reach the driver, but they assured me that they would contact me in a few hours and that the parcel would be delivered today. Got no message or call and the tracking changed from "Delivered to Neighbour "HI" at 09.39" to "Your parcel has been brought back to our depot at 09:39 on Sat 28 Oct 2023" and no info about when will be delivered "AGAIN". I work nights, spent all morning on this, and am now at work completely drained because of DPD's incompetence and disregard for their customers.

Outrageous customer service as well as the delivery service. I have been waiting for the very expected delivery at home while receiving billions of messages from DPD UK about how the driver is nearby, then he is 30 minutes away, then that I am next, and then that the driver missed me when I am sitting right here at home waiting for the doorbell to ring. Now I an expected to go somewhere ON MONDAY to collect the parcel. Any attempts to contact the service via their much-promoted app ended up with two half-hour hanging on the phone, waiting for someone to respond. Eventually, I gave up very frustrated and disappointed. Absolute disgrace

Been waiting for a parcel which was due to be delivered on 22nd October and it never arrived. I was advised delivery had been delayed prior to this and now it’s nearly a week later and there has been no further updates and no delivery. This was birthday present for family member which now has past their birthday. Their WhatsApp’s chat is bot and not helpful at all. Underhand delays happen but communication is extremely lacking. Not happy

3 of us in the house all day. Expecting a large package containing wine. Got a message from DPD saying we weren't in - with a picture of a house up the road. Spent ages getting shunted between phone numbers as the website gives no option to complain. Now have a message I have to go pick up this large heavy package from a post office in a busy town centre. Very unhappy.
