“My rating is -5 not even good enough for zero. There’s LIES, loads of RUBBISH and lack of care. So no point complaining to DPD complain to companies sending with them and request other couriers ‘ better ones’”

“Wish I could give zero stars. Once again I havd a parcel which should have been delivered yesterday. Tracking said it was on route to pick up point. Now says it is at Stoke. Happened several times before and I never ever received the items Absolutely rubbish company.”

“Held a package hostage in its Stoke Depot since the 17th Dec 2022. They are not delivering now until 3rd Jan 2023 at the earliest. You get multiple messages stating an unexpected delay, this is a lie as it has been planned that way. This company has zero respect for its customer base.”

“One star is the lowest I can give. Should be able to give a minus for service. Ordered an assortment of Yorkshire cheeses, cold meats etc for Christmas. . Despatched from Wensleydale in good time. Website said sent to Jarrow depot (near me) Next comment on website said sent to Birmingham (200 miles from me.) Next comment would be delivered to Hebburn depot and delivered to me on 24th. This stayed on website until 4.05pm when comment said not getting delivered. Next comment 28th December unable to deliver perishable goods. Apparently if not delivered within 60 hours they have to be destroyed. Raging mad. Wonder whose Christmas tree my food was sat under, thanks to DPD it wasn't mine”

“i arranged a parcel pick up from travis perkins in Brighton, and in the special requests column i asked for this parcel to be collected between 8am and 12 noon when the shop closed , i payed for the collection and delivery and the insurance, then i get a message today saying they will attempt to pick up my pacel between 3pm and 4pm when the shop will not be open, i contacted dpd and got nowhere the person i spoke to tried ringing the wrong depot and when i asked to be put through to the customer complaints dept, i was refused, i am now in the belief that dpd is getting as bad as some of the other delivery companies out there, and i am totally disgusted in the service i got from them, they dont even deserve the one star i had to leave to do this reveiw, so people please please think again before booking with DPD”

“I will never, never have DPD deliver my parcels again. Before I order items online I will always check to make sure DPD are not the couriers!!! I have been waiting for my parcels since the 14/15th December 2022!!!. These were Christmas presents for my son! Clothes as he has Crohn's disease and lost so much weight, he had new clothes ordered for him to make him feel better within his self! There is always a delay with my parcels, always moved forward to the following day. Staff are rude and not bothered on the other end of the phone at STOKE DEPOT! And by the way your driver's in winsford drive like idiots. Shouldn't even have a license! You should be ashamed of yourselves!”

“My experience the same as Natilie. Local DPD Depot had my Harrods parcel for days before Christmas. Not delivered. Promises of delivery on three successive days. It didn’t happen. Virtual Assistant waste of time Tracking useless. So a week after the delivery should have been made - just nothing. Another promise of delivery today but no time slot given. So it won’t happen. Worst service delivery experience ever. There should be the facility to give a minus score!!”

“DPD Stoke depot have had my husbands Christmas present since the 15th of December. They lied and said it had been delivered, it hadn’t and they admitted it had been a fault at their end. I have been told every day since it will be delivered “today” and I will receive my delivery slot by 11am… I’ve heard absolutely nothing. I’m absolutely gutted by being let down by this but I’m more angry at the treatment I have received from the customer services! Every person I spoke to was Rude, unhelpful and simply didn’t give a dime about my issue! Don’t get me started on the bots that you chat with online… useless. The stress DPD has caused me over this festive period is something I will never forget and you can trust I will never use DPD or shop from any business who use DPD as their courier.”

“I ordered my sons present on the the 16th. They haven't delivered. No explanation, bad customer service and bad communication. My son is sitting next to me without his present. I even paid for next day delivery. I will take this further I am so disappointed So angry All lies!”

“If i could put a negative score i would... Our full Xmas dinner and all trimmings was due to be delivered on 23rd Dec , at 6pm we were told the driver didn't want to come to our area and our parcel would be returned to the depot. And as it was perishable it would be destroyed. That was our turkey and all trimmings and veg ordered in Oct. So I had to run around with our last bit of money trying to find the bits and turkey for our Xmas dinner. We didn't even get an apology just "there's nothing we can do." So thanks DPD for destroying our Xmas this year.”

“No Xmas parcel - utter shambles and lack of communication between Betty's and DPD. On Tuesday 20-12-22 I receive and email from DPD saying that 'We’ve got your Bettys parcel, however, we wanted to let you know that it has been sent to us after the last Christmas shipping date. This means it will now probably arrive after Christmas'. I was then assured by Betty's that it would. Betty's even had a banner on there website saying this and that every effort was to be made to delivery orders on time. No further contact or apology from Betty's or DPD until an email arrives 24-12-12 saying that the parcel would not be delivered before Xmas. This is completely unacceptable given the parcel and delivery date (21-12-22) were set in October with DPD as the courier. Further, the reason given 'unexpected issue' is neither specific or credible given that the parcel is already three days late. The planning here is derisory and it would appear there has been little in the way of prioritisation. And I don't want to hear the excuse you have been busy - it is up to you to plan and risk mitigate.”

“I ordered a £900 I phone for my niece for Christmas and was messed around two days running as the phone hadnt arrived either dates as stated. 3rd delivery date given the phone was delivered, only to find that the phone had been stolen and replaced with two diaries. I am sure that the two delivery drivers that failed to deliver on the dates stated are in it together so that it can’t just be pin pointed onto the of them. The manager was due to call me but I never heard anything back. Bad customer service to say the least ! The driver that finally delivered the parcel was very helpful and I don’t believe had any involvement at all. I called DOD to speak to someone and the man was rude and was talking o et me and not listening to what I had to say.”

“Have had two parcels now on different occasions both say your parcel is on its way to our stoke depot and next time I check I get SORRY THERE IS A PROBLEM IN YOUR AREA AND ANOTHER SAYING ITS STILL AT HINKLEY SORTING DEPOT THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL WASTE OF SPACE DPD MUST MEAN DELAYED PARCEL DELIVERY”

“Christmas Hamper ordered for delivery 22nd December 2022. It's a Christmas Hamper, therefore I needed it for Christmas. Not delivered 22nd. Receive a text message to say will now be delivered 23rd. Yesterday received a message to say would be delivered today. Rang the company who I ordered the Hamper from and they said it won't be delivered until 28th December now. Not sure when/or if I will receive the hamper. Disgusting service!!!”
