The worst 😫 company ever. I was due a parcel yesterday, and that was my doctor prescription, which they delivered to a wrong address, when I chat with the team, they weren't helpful at all, they said is my problem to contact the pharmacy to raise a investigation, when I just need to take my medication 💊. No help at all even if they seen that they done a mistake, more than this they closed the chat. I will take it further than a complaint

£550 of power tool dispatched by ffx.co.uk within 1 hour of ordering on a Monday afternoon on 24hr delivery. It landed with local dpd office at 10:07 the next morning. Did they deliver that day (Tuesday)? no. Did they put up a "Delivery day changed to Wednesday at your request" - Yes. Did I request that?- No. Did they deliver on the Thursday when Wednesday was not convenient for me when they said they would?- No. Did they deliver on Friday morning? No. Did their "outbound team" assure after me that they would deliver on Friday afternoon? - Yes. Did they? - No. Would they then upgrade to delivery over the w/e? No. Did anyone follow up with the registering of a complaint? No. Did I then cancel the order with FFx? - Yes.

Do not use these idiots. They came to my building but didn’t come to my flat to pick up the packages. I waited all day from 9am to 7:40pm before calling DPD and told that the driver came to concierge and there was nothing to pick up. My concierge told the driver to go to my flat to pick it up but the driver didn’t want to. I didn’t receive a message or anything in regards to alternative pick up. I am really disappointed and I hope others read this before choosing DPD for any services.

I would not even give them one star. On DPD local. shipments - document. If you come across any issues for your shipment there would be no way to solve it unless you take up your case in your own hands. no option to select documents so personal shipments went as good samples which created whole lot of issues. Their pick up location are just 3rd party kiosks who have no clue about any process. The communication details were mixed up so I never received any intimation. The parcel was not received even after 10 days and I am still waiting. I had to get in touch with DPD group customer care as they have no DPD local customer care. There is a number but you pay an extortionate amount to call them, they make money while keeping the call volume low. for the low cost, you essentially get no forget customer service, you get no help. The customer service was so incompetent that after sendng 15 email exchanges they still revert back by saying that we can't find your shipment details by the reference number you provided. basically, if something goes wrong with the DPD level of service you stand a better chance going to church for help.

I would encourage no business to use DPD. to say thay are customer adverse is an understatement. I will now also check with companies as to which delivery business they use and if it is DPD I will shop elsewhere and I will inform the reason why I will not shop with them. I was supposed to have a parcel delivered today (I paid extra for next day delivery) I kept watch online for my delivery and suddenly I get a message saying "we were unable to deliver". They posted a pic of some random house and tell me it will be delivered the following day. I phone DPD and am told they cant contact the driver so will get the depot to call me. I get a customer service operative (definitely should remove customer fro this) who tells me that it wasnt delivered as there was no house number (very common in the UK for houses to have names). This is even though they have posted a pic of a random house to say they couldnt deliver it? I have had deliveries here before from DPD, so how come they cant get it right now? I was then told that (even though Im speak to someone) that if I wish to complain I have to write an email? I cant tell you how bad this company is when it comes to not delivering and customer service. I will be making a formal complaint and I will be contacting John Lewis as this impacts on them as a business.

For over a week I've been engaged in what can only be described as a farcical exchange with the "Escalations Team". That's the "highly trained" cubicle monkeys DPD CEO Dwain McDonald uses to avoid having to deal with great unwashed. If you're unfamiliar I'll summarise. Prior to a delivery DPD send you an email. That email states that to avoid contact delivery, you should put a note on your door with instructions as to where to leave the package. All good, right? I mean, if you're isolating or shielding you want stuff left at the door & no contact. so this is a great move. I did that. A4 sign. Portait. Arial font. "Couriers & Deliveries. If there is no answer please leave packages here" There's a big arrow pointing to a corner spot on the floor. Idiot proof. Not DPD proof. The driver didn't leave the package. He did tear up a blank missed call card & stuff the bits through the door before buggering off. It would have taken less energy to just put the box down. DPD's communications are awful. Their "contact us" link leads to a "page not found" Their phone number is a kept on hold for hours nightmare waste of time & money. So, I tracked down Dwain's corporate email address & sent him a note. dwain at dpdgroup dot co dot uk. If you need it. He's the boss. Take it to the top & point out what his company has botched. Well. Dwain doesn't give a stuff. He has cubicle monkeys to sweep things under the carpet for him. Long story short, the depot & driver in an act of spiteful solidarity didn't even try to deliver my kit. They returned it to sender as "undeliverable" after not bothering to show for the second delivery slot they arranged. After a week of to & fro communications platitudes & excuses from trained cubicle monkey in Dwain's "Escalation Team" I today received the following excuse. "... the parcel was not left because the note was not left on the inside of the property." I'll give you a moment to draw that mental image of a DPD chap coming in, reading the note you left for them next to your hat stand, then going back out to leave the package behind the gnome gesturing suggestively at passers by. . Me? I'm thinking DPD clearly operate an army of international cat burglars & I stupidly should have put my note under one of those novelty magnets on the fridge and not on the front door. "Mindaugas" my driver could have left the package on the kitchen table having first fixed himself a lovely snack. Perhaps they have those calling cards like the fella in the old Milk Tray ads? Should we swoon when they get it right? Does that ever happen? The torn card was flatly denied. Of course. As for why they didn't show up for the 2nd delivery attempt or why they returned my package as undeliverable, that was not addressed in any way mean shape or form. It was simply ignored. I never expected the complaint process to go anywhere & had already spoken at length to the vendor shipping my goods with DPD, but this was even more of a farce than my imagination could conjure. Bottom line? A shambolically unprofessional company whose employees clearly feel empowered to treat recipients with disdain & disrespect in the full knowledge that they will face no repercussions whatsoever, whose communication is deliberately difficult to engage, whose complaints process is an exercise in whitewashing that yields nothing worthwhile, & whose CEO, Dwain McDonald, responds to no communications & clearly has no interest in how his employees behave as long as his tills go "kerching". In our "new normal" [hate that phrase] delivery companies will play an increasingly important part. Companies who behave like DPD have no business in this field. Pick another company. Never - EVER - DPD. Stop Dwain's "kerching". It's the only way to force him to take responsibility & get his staff to operate in a polite & professional manner.

Absolutely disgraceful I received an email to say that my parcel had arrived at their depot at Ecclesfield depot and would be delivered on 18 July. I did not receive any further notification confirming my 1 hour time slot and the tracking information just confirmed that my parcel was still at the depot I finally managed to speak to DPD who said that they had spoken to the depot and my parcel was not out for delivery and could not be traced in their depot. My parcel contained 2 whole lobster and side dishes from Cote at Home. It was a special treat for my husband who works for the NHS. DPD do not care and have simply told me to refer the matter to Cote and they can open an investigation. I had already done this. My concern is that 2 weeks ago my sister had a Hello Fresh delivery which should have arrived on Saturday and eventually turned up on Sunday with no explanation. It was delivered from the Sheffield depot and the box had been tampered with I am beginning to suspect that someone may have helped themselves to my expensive and luxury food parcel This is just so nasty at a time like this when treats are necessary to keep us going DPD you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Shocking service. Having food delivered so I don't have to go to the shops due to the current situation. Given a delivery slot. Check 5mins before the delivery; your deliverer is delivering parcel 30 and you are 32. See on the map that they are just round the corner. Looks like it will be slightly late, no biggy. Check 10 mins later get the message: the driver could not find your house. Absolute joke. Never had anyone have an issue finding the house before. It's an ordinary street of terreaced houses with numbers on. If you can't find the house, you aren't qualified to do your job. Ring DPD immediately and explain how ludicrous this is. Person on the phone agrees that she can't understand why it wasn't delivered since the driver was just round the corner. They can't possibly send the driver back. We'll deliver tomorrow. IT'S PERISHABLE FOOD. It will be gone off tomorrow if it's not refrigerated. Several phone calls later, and DPD realise they don't have a leg to stand on and agree the driver will return with the package. No show. Liars. If you can't read road signs and numbers, if you can't find houses, if you can't deliver parcels at the times you say you can, if you can't keep your word, what use are you as a delivery company? Disgrace. Pitty I can't leave 0 stars.

Scumbag company. Horrendous to contact and spent thus far over 11 hours of my time phoning emailing being ignored and generally messed about. Processes and procedures not followed meant parcel lost. Don't offer goodwill if you have a horrendous experience. Just don't give a flying fcuk. A make it right team that ignore you an exec team that are much use as a chocolate ashtray in a motorbike. THE ABSOLUTE SCUM OF THE EARTH.

On 23rd March, I dropped off a parcel at Matalan (the DPD drop off point) for delivery by DPD. Unfortunately, Matalan closed shortly afterwards due to lockdown and neither DPD nor Matalan did anything about the parcels. On 28th March, I spoke to a manager who asked me to send an email to customer services for his attention. I did that. On 1st April, I was asked to provide further information, which I did. Nothing happened and on 10th April, I eventually got through using DPD online chat. The agent advised me simply to wait and do nothing. I wasn't happy with that and asked to speak to a manager. Eventually, I was put on to Simon who said he was the operations managing supervisor. He told me that DPD does not guarantee delivery or collection (I have proof of this). I wasn't happy and sent an email to Dwain McDonald, the CEO of DPD UK on 10th April. He ignored me. I was constantly chasing the parcel and getting nowhere. Eventually, I contacted DPD through Facebook on 2nd July and things started moving. The parcel was never located despite DPD tracking showing it is still in Matalan (which Matalan denied). On 13th July, I was told that the matter was passed to the Operations Team and today, 15th July, I received an email stating that I cannot make a claim because I didn't get in touch with them soon enough. So, there you have it. A delivery company that does not guarantee delivery or collection, that ignores customers and refuses compensation for lost parcels due to not contacting them soon enough even when people contact them very quickly. I have all the evidence and will fight this all the way.

Horrendous company,if they turn up they deliver to the wrong address time and time again, all drivers have good reviews??? Yet you can only leave feedback if you have no issues with delivery , no option to give feedback when they mess it up,customer service waste of time ,

Today I was due a delivery from DPD. I was given a 1hr time slot of 1320-1420. No delivery! At 1440 I received an bemail telling me that the driver had been delayed and would be with me no later than 1720! No delivery! I have no been told that the driver broke down and my delivery may happen sometime tomorrow! I tried their chat line but that seems to be designed to just divert people until they get bored with waiting! This company is truly useless!

They have the option to change your delivery date and it’s completely useless because even if you change it you will receive the item the original date without any notice. Unacceptable service and all they say for their mistakes Ishtar they apologise...
