The worst shop Instead of repair my brakes, the broke them, then they partially repaired them by changing the discs and ask me to pay for the other part for them to change the pads. Initially they promised to change them for free and asked me to come back in 3 months as they say they don’t have in stock this pads. When I return, they start doing bunch of lies. Now I need to go to consumer protection and probably to sue them.

Ordered 2 gear shifters for my wife's bike over the phone, and told they were in stock ready to be collected at my local store. Then received a phone call to say the items couldn't be found so a refund would be issued. Over a month later and still awaiting refund, nobody answers the so called "helpline" and being an 0845 number costs nearly a pound a minute. Disgraceful company, will never deal with them again, and would strongly advise anybody else to find an alternative company to deal with, or just do without.

Used Halford Mobile who was dreadful to say the least referred me to the local Halford workshop to carry out the repairs he was unable to do, Went to the Halford garage in Woolwich but they just as bad as as the mobile fitter as soon as i turned up at the woolwich site all you can hear is swearing and unhappy customers. Low and behold they could not fix it either spoke to a customer in reception who was having the same issue they said they had found a local Garage in Welling that could fix/repair anything she had her invoice in hand getting a refund from Halford's due to an incomplete repair. I took her advise and took my car to the garage she suggested who were spot on with customer service and prices fix car same day very disappointed in Halford but lease got a decent garage found from it ( garage i used to fix Claremont Motor Engineers Welling ) Halford great advertising on TV but your services dont match up big boys pushing there way in but so under delivering.

Disgraceful service. My daughter with her 2 young children bought oil for her car that was completely run out. She could not afford to pay the £5 for lifting up bonnet, taking off cap and pouring oil in. They would not even attend whilst she did it whilst looking after 2 under 7s to just confirm she puts it in the right container in car. How bad is that!!!!!! hence we had desperate call from her in panic on where to pour it whilst in hurry to attend an appointment.

Categories Blog My Reviews My Settings Help LOG OUT Paul c GB For businesses Paul c United Kingdom 1 Review If I could give 0stars I would I have… If I could give 0stars I would I have never been treated like this in a store or anywhere in fact so after purchasing few cleaning and polishing products for my car I was happy but having realised one of them was not suitable I did get a refund and few days later partner then brought something else witch was not suitable for my car so I went to the store today and asked if I could get a refund or exchange them and was told no repciets but told get bank statement and they could give refund so after feeling let down went to leve when I was approached by members of staff saying that I had not paid for the item as I pointed out I was after refund was treated like a criminal and threatened with police asked them to look at CCTV but to no luck so I have bank statement showing purchase once I get refund I will never use them again it's disappointing and discusting how I have been treated like a criminal the was a member of staff that see me walking in the store but was to busy smoking and eyeing up the lads in car absolute joke

I ordered a roof rack and roof box. Item was due to arrive 2 days after purchase. I received only 1 of 3 boxes for the roof rack and roof box never came. I spoke to their customer services who stated I would need to contact their courier as they "won't get an answer for some time". I asked for a refund as I am moving and so the delivery would be to late. They refused. I asked if I could pick up the same item from my local store instead but they refused. Absolutely useless, will never use them again.

Absolutely appalling customer service from the store management team all the way through to customer service. After allowing a bike to leave store not meeting current legislation, incorrectly fitting accessories and falsifying pre release checks I had to go to another store who were shocked and had to fix the issues of incorrect fitting snd the fact the bike was not fit to be sold as the gears weren’t properly connected. Customer device hide behind not acknowledging any of these points and saying we have offered a 30 Halfords voucher. I want apologies and answers and proper support but it doesn’t exist. Dedicated bike stores are more expensive but the service is worth it not having to fight and get what’s right.

Took my car in for service and MOT my appointment was 11.20 by the time 4.40 arrived I had not heard anything from them so I rang them to be told my car Was not ready and it would need two new rear tyres to pass its MOT. I Said ok I will send for 2 new Bridgestones he said but your car will be staying here overnight. When will it be ready I said he replied it will be done tomorrow.tomorrow arrives I hear nothing from them all day, gave them up to 5pm and my daughter took me there lo and behold my car was parked up and done. Here is the best bit the 2 Tyres were Firestone a cheaper alternative when I spoke with the Manager he was very rude. I drove away and the next day just out of curiosity I dipped the oil you guessed it it was pure black and near to minimum on the dipstick they have 100% not done an oil change please do no use Halfords Northendon ever.

Received an email saying items had been dispatched and would be delivered next day. Waited in all day, no delivery received. No delivery following day or any email to advise of delay. Tried to track order with courier but unavailable. Phoned Halfords customers service to be told there was a delay in my delivery now and that I would hopefully receive an update within 72 hours on when my items might get delivered. Unhappy customer

Bike serviced using the government voucher scheme. Came back worse than it went in despite all new gear and brake cables, chain etc. Front tyre had 10 psi in it, first ride out on bike 3 month after servicing lost all gears to rear set within 10 miles, front set chain slips off ring and jams up. Hopeless beyond words.

My wife took the car for a Free aircon check , they regassed the car without us asking and then wanted paying . When I questioned the manager about this over the phone he refused to discuss it . Coward . We paid but head office made the store refund us . Made himself scarce when we came in the weasel . Hes ok bullying women thats about his level .

Horrible service... I brought a bike on Monday 19th July and arrived damaged. i called Halfords and sent pictures of the damage and they quoted a 24 hour pick up service, no one came to collect the bike. i then called on Tuesday and still got quoted a 24 hour pick up still no collection, the case was then escalated it's now Thursday and still no pick up in sight. this has messed up my week as we finally had sunshine and the plan was to go out with my family. NEVER GOING TO BUY FROM HALFORDS AGAIN!!!!!

My 3 month old bike developed several serious faults in the 3 months that i had it. They have now had it for 4 months they don't respond to requests for an update. If you call then the call handling people just cut you off. Shocking service

I completed my order 11/5/2021 and thought great that’s a good deal. Every time I arranged a date and changed working commitments and social commitments I was dropped in by Halfords the morning of fitment. This went on several times until I asked Tyres on the drive if they could get the tyres first then contact me with fitment date as they said the supplier didn’t drop the tyres off on the morning of fitment. Tyres on the drive stated they could only arrange fitment dates and if the supplier does not drop the tyres off that day there is nothing could be changed they went onto say there was no guarantees this would continue to happen where they were cancelling me. I asked for a refund and after about 10 hrs of my time and phone calls speaking to several different call handlers and being promised over 3 weeks I would receive my refund. We are now 7/7/2021 and a call for over 45 minutes with no answers to why I haven’t received my money and once again promising I would receive this in 3 to 5 days however after speaking to a manager Melissa on the 1/7/2021 who promised the same information this whole experience has got me stressed and exhausted with still no £650 refund into my account. This is the worst service I have ever had in 48 years of my life and would never recommend anyone to use tyres on the drive and after being a customer of Halfords for decades I will never use the branches again. Promised next day delivery but did not happen. Had to get item from elsewhere. Would not refund until said item was delivered and refused. So they have my £580 and I will struggle to feed my family! Completely unacceptable failure on their part, but the customer has to suffer!!

I would like to commend your team member Yusuf at store 0789, as he resolved a serious problem and I left the store confident to return to Halfords to purchase further products. The problem was that there was an incredibly mean spirited team member called Lisa who was instantly hostile and greeted me with a negative verbal attack. I was send by your Mile End store to collect a product which had been reserved for me in order to exchange for a substituted product which was purchased prior. With out checking, Lisa stated that there was no such product and also that it was not available for me. I then said it was ok and that I would like a refund for the product which I was going to exchange for the reserved item. Lisa then inspected my receipt, glared at me with a hostile stare, and questioned me whether I had bought it within 28 days. I politely informed her that I bought it 5 days prior to which she retorted that she would need to check with the manager to see if I should get a refund. Lisa took the receipt with her, holding it to the light to further inspect it. Lisa returned some moments later and she stated that the manager told her it was up to her whether to give me a refund for the item. Lisa then proceeded to stare at me, with a very hostile look, and opened the box. She inspected the papers, holding them up in an intimidating manner, and continued to remove the items from the box, all the while staring at me with an accusative contemptuous scowling look of hatred. I could see that other customers were waiting and I said to Lisa not to worry and that I will go to another store. It was incredibly obvious that Lisa had no intention of providing a positive and professional shopping experience to her selective customers as I did notice that Lisa's introductions to customers with white skin were as polite and interested, "Good afternoon sir", and the greetings to the customers of dark skin was disinterested and hostile "What do you want" or "Yes!", and "Next". Lisa was selective in greeting and being helpful to customers based on their appearance. Lisa also had a very strong personality and it was embarrassingly clear that she was overtly verbally bullying her colleagues. Although I felt bullied out of the store by Lisa. I then re-joined the other line and was served by Yusuf who reinstated my faith in Halfords as he was professional, polite and helpful to each customer without a change in his conduct and interaction with customers of various skin types and appearance. Instead of giving me a refund Yusuf offered me the product (that Lisa had said, was not available), which had been reserved for me by the Mile End store. I bought the product and was very pleased with his service. Yusuf should be highly commended for the sale and for changing my mind about never wanting to buy anything from Halfords ever again, based on the way I was treated by Lisa. Because Yusuf was so professional, I then purchased more products to the value of £100 and I shall continue to purchase further products solely due to Yusuf's professional conduct towards his customers. When I had bought the product from Yusuf, I politely asked Lisa for her name, to which she sarcastically responded by pulling her name tag forward towards me, accompanying it with a taunting smirk and patronisingly slowly saying her name "L-I-S-A". I strongly recommend that Lisa is re-trained or moved to the back of warehouse where she will not frighten your customers off from ever wanting to enter Halfords stores again. I believe that Lisa is a terrible representation of your company and should not be one of the first experiences that customers are welcomed with. It was embarrassing to see her openly and confidently intimidate both other customers and her colleagues at the front of store. I ask that CCTV is viewed for the Beckton store on 26/06/2021 to confirm this and see and hear an unbiased and absolute true account of this abhorrently disgusting behaviour from front of house staff. Lisa was selective in her interaction towards customers and her fellow colleagues, who clearly looked sheepish, un-confident and noticeably silent around her. It may be an idea to send in a representative from Head Office to this store to unbiasedly witness this horrific and bizarre behaviour for yourselves.

My son ordered a bicycle on line wich was to big for him I'm in the process of trying to get it collected after numerous phone calls and emails I'm still waiting they said someone will email me on Monday to arrange a collection...seeing is believing ..be careful when you order online my sons still waiting

Booked my vehicle in to have the rear camera and front and back dash cams fitted that I paid over £300 for from the bromborough store. Came back 2 hours later to find the lad had not installed the rear camera? I was told I would have to re book another slot. I did and arrived on time 3 hours later I was told we fitted the camera but it doesn't work! Ohh what should I do I asked? Take it to an auto electrician!!!!! A bit cheesed off I took my vehicle away, I fortunately noticed that a dashboard light was on and would not turn off.... on returning 2 mins later, the halfords lad said it couldn't be anything to do with them? WATCH THIS SPACE HALFORDS.
