Never again. Appalling experience. Ordered a designer leather iPad sleeve worth £285. It was sent in a flimsy plastic bag and arrived folded in half! Contacted customer services who were hostile and even after seeing photos denied anything was wrong! No apology and very dismissive in their language and attitude. Eventually agreed it was faulty after a lengthy online chat. I will never order from this company again. They clearly don’t need the custom as they treat customers with utter contempt.

Wanted to buy sunglasses for my daughter but was watched suspiciously by a shop assistant who made us feel that we were being suspected of stealing them . I asked if I could buy a pair but they don’t keep any new boxed pairs in store so you don’t have to have the ones that a huge number of other people have handled . The shop assistant made us feel as if we were a nuisance and the whole experience made us walk out and I will buy from another shop . My daughter asked if some perfume was in the sale . But, given the wrong advice after coming home and looking on line . The whole shopping experience is awful in HOF Guildford. ( only one lovely lady on the Dior counter) she should get out and join another retailer that sees her benefit. Would never recommend anyone to use this store as you can’t get refunds in store soon and online is awful if you want to return anything. Sad, because I used to spend a lot in this store and now it just doesn’t seem worthwhile.

Awful customer service Do not buy from HOF They do not refund postage or delivery fees for faulty products and go round and round the houses In the end I gave up They are incompetent, evasive, illiterate and not the brightest bulbs in the box Didn’t know if it was a deliberate attempt to dodge refunding the charges or whether they are actually just incompetent

Absolutely shocking customer service. Have to go through all the irrelevant questions on the chat line, then eventually you can get to speak to an advisor who rarely gets to help you before they close the chat and leave you hanging. i have had a gift voucher since the beginning of the year, i have not been able to use it yet because their hopeless system rejects it. it was re-issued by HOF and i just tried to use it, it seemed to go through ok, then it flashed up saying there is an error, try again, which i did and now it it is saying my voucher invalid!! IF i ever get to spend this i will NOT be returning to this store again, its not worth the hassle

It was a disaster. Shopping with House of Fraser is a disaster! Please do not shop with them . They just try their chances to sell their items. I have ordered 2 Tommy Hilfiger polo shirts and paid for both plus the postage cost. The items which I received where totally different items from the picture on the website. I returned them and asked for the full refund ( including postage cost ) as I am not responsible for their mistakes, but they only returned the items money without the postage amount after several emails I had sent them!!! Imagine how many £4.99 they collect during the 24 hours of online shopping for the wrong items they send to us. They are not professional and honest ! They just want to sell the items in their warehouse. They send you the items that is not match with what you have ordered in case you like and keep them , therefore they just try to sell what they have !

To whom it may concern, I would like to make a formal complaint that happened at the House of Fraser store in Wolverhampton on the 29th October 2022 around 12pm. My fiancé was looking for a new foundation and we came across some sale items. We opened the boxes to look at the colour and noticed that the foundation had already been opened and used as there was dry foundation in the pump. The security came over to us and said in an aggressive tone 'You cannot open them, they are unsellable now', to which she explained that they had already been opened. He called over the floor manager and my fiancé had to prove with a random bottle that they had already been used and opened. The security's attitude was unbelievable with the response. My fiancé had to tell the floor manager that she suffers with anxiety and panic attacks and no longer wish to shop there. The situation was blown out of proportion which caused her to have a panic attack in the shop and I had to carry her to the car. She has been intimidated with the same security man in the shop 4 months ago, was followed around the shop and made to pay even though she wasn't finished shopping... she had her bank card in her hand. I am absolutely furious with the situation; her condition is a hidden disability. I look forward to hearing your response on the matter.

This has been the most awful experience having paid for next day delivery for two grandsons birthdays and didn’t arrive was 5 days late. They had gone back to the country where they live. HOF kept going round in circles saying basically hard luck not our problem it was the delivery company nothing to do with us. Goods no good were already obviously sent to someone else as opened anyway. 35 emails later and each one becoming more belligerent and difficult I am still no further forward. Asked each time to escalate a complaint but seemed not to want to and basically told me there was nothing they could do. They even almost threatened me when I said I would go to my local store to question their practices. I have shopped in this store for over 40 years but given their attitude and downright bullying behaviour trying to wear the customer down by bombarding them with various representatives telling you have no consumer rights I will never shop there again.

Absolutely disgusted with my treatment they made an error and would not exchange my item and instead refunded me. The item in question had then doubled in price, Kimberley in customer care was vile and disgusting in her manner towards me and they should be ashamed.

Awful customer service. Sent tatty, stained goods and refused to pay postage to return, despite evidence being produced, as requested by them. Emails take An average of 3 days to get replied to, only for agents to ask you for the same information you've supplied. Disgusting that I've paid £5 delivery for faulty goods and then another £3.99 to return. First and last time I will ever order from HOF. Wish I'd thought to read the reviews first.

Good Morning. I have a missing parcel of House of Fraser. I'm trying tirelessly to get in touch via chat and email but no one responds. The EVRI company said they made the delivery but it never came to me. This company has been leaving expensive items lying on the ground without any security in the building next door. I'm tired of saying that I'm always at home to receive any and all parcels in hand, but they never press the bell. The building is full of residents and we have already had a case of theft inside one of the blocks. I would like to know where is my duvet please? This is my tracking number T0047A0154110276.

Just avoid this company,as previously said, customer service is a joke,waiting 3 weeks for a refund and return to be collect by that other joke firm,evri. A match made in hell,the blind leading the blind. Please shop elsewhere to avoid the hassle

After 38 days of placing an order I still haven't received it, when I was supposed to receive it in 12 days. Customer support just tells me to wait and doesn't offer any solution (resend or return).

Horrendous website! Type in SOFA BEDS and you get SOFT BEDS. Type in SOFAS and you get THROWS AND ACCESSORIES. Type in LEATHER SOFAS and you get HANDBAGS. Come on House of Fraser. Pull yourselves together!

I ordered a valentino bag for my daughters birthday granted it was in the sale . It arrived earlier than scheduled so that's great product quality obviously that has nothing to do with house of fraser it's the brands responsibility. My courier was great but my big upset is that it arrived in a thin plastic bag no bubble wrap or box to protect the product. This is poor on your part a box at the very least next time . I normally order from John Lewis thry packaged soft baby clothes better than this !!

They say that you can't have a refund can only give you a credit was told this is the law now. Will never shop in there again hope they go bust.
